Honestly the only reason Iβm even giving a three star is because of Melissa. Melissa is super sweet, professional, honest and definitely very caring! If it wasnβt for her I wouldnβt even give this place one star.My husband and I looked at a couple different apartments and thought this would be the best fit for us. This was our first time being on our own and we were so excited to move in! When we first came and looked at the property it seemed really clean and quiet. Literally the day we moved in we fell in love with the inside of the apartment but noticed some cabinets and shelves were missing so my husband talked to someone at the office and they told him it was a handicap unit, we didnβt even know until that moment. I understand they have to have so many units that are handicap accessible but it made us feel bad and feel like we were taking up that until that someone else could have needed more then us. The walls are so thin you can hear every little thing from music, walking, stomping, even the toilet from above flushing. Our whole apartment smelt like cigarettes and was dirty when we moved in. I was seven months pregnant at the time and cleaned the walls four times by myself trying to get the smell out before our son arrived, Melissa did offer some solutions and tried to make things right but the cigarette smell was so bad that nothing would work at that point. I had tried to wash some of our stuff and our sonβs stuff but the cigarette smell was so bad and stuck to everything we had to throw stuff out and buy new thingsβ¦People will blast music no matter what time it is and the cops are always there. Used condoms are left in the parking lot, dog stations are always full and never have bags, there is broken glass left in the grass.Just because we had a bad experience doesnβt mean you will but I personally donβt recommend.Stetson Meadows has potential but definitely has ALOT of improving to do.
They staff here at Stetson Meadow are very caring, helpful, and get back as soon as possible. I was thinking of moving until this new group of staff came in and took over. Thank you for all your help.
I was visiting a friend at Stetson Meadow Apts & the security guard was extremely rude. He assumed I shouldnt be there and instead of asking me questions professionally he was very rude and arrogant. I would never consider living there, glad I dont. They need new security.
I set up an appointment online to look at an apartment, got there and the Lady in the office was BEYOND rude. She had zero patience to help me and told me they had no availability and didnβt know why or how I got an appointment, that she didnβt see it so she didnβt have anything to show me. I tried to show her the email confirmation I had and she wouldnβt even make eye contact. Her boyfriend or friend, whoever was lounging in a chair in the office was kind, he clearly didnβt even work there and tried to tell me about a complex that was up the hill that may be the one I was supposed to go to. Overall awful experience if thatβs the management I would run, she didnβt seem pleasant, glad I donβt live there or have to deal with her or her attitude.
Better than TV with the constant Police pressence. If you are a night owl, you will appreciate your neighbors Subwoofers that will rattle your windows helping you stay awake at night. If you enjoy a good conversation with double standards, management will talk to you with an air of arrogance.
I loved my time here! There were a couple of minor things to be fixed when I moved in and it was done right away and it was done right. The maintenance staff are outstanding and the office staff are very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. Garage and car ports are also available. The dumpsters are never full, always taken care of regularly. I HIGHLY recommend this place
The office staff is the best. This property has had great people since my daughter first moved here about 13 years ago. Our current manager was the assistant manager at that time. I feel blessed to have the wonderful group of people on this property we have. Management staff is very important to me. They are the heart of a community.
Didnt get a chance to rent anything due to the fact that they didnt have any available 3-bedrooms. But, I wanted to point out how extremely nice one of their employees is. I visited on 1/16 and as I was walking into the lobby, the employee (possibly maintenance) greeted us with a smile and kinds words and seemed really genuine. He walked off into the office for a moment and Im pretty sure it was to notify one of the leasing staff that we were out in the lobby waiting because she followed him back into the lobby to assist us. Great first impression! Kudos to him and his warm smile and friendliness!
I came in to look for a place. The lady in the office with the tattoos was so kind and caring. She listened to my issue and discussed the different options I could look into with renting from them. I do hope that a unit comes available soon and I am approved because, I have read the reviews and I do not think i have looked up any apartment complex in the Springs with such nice reviews. Thank you again for your help and will be in soon with my app and deposit :)
I am going on 4 years now at stetson meadows, the apartment complex and staff have been wonderful. Mary has always taken care of me at the front office! I would highly recommend this complex, I have a 3 bed 2 bath with an amazing view! They are currently re-painting the apartments and redoing all the roofs. soon they are supposed to rebuild the pool after the summer. Cant wait to see when its done!
I lived in a 3 bedroom townhouse and loved every minute of it. The staff is nice and they always have someone cleaning up any trash. He is up bright and early shoveling all of the snow off the sidewalks and stairs. They are very quick with maintenance calls. I saw one spider/bug the entire year I lived there. The only reason Im not staying is I cant afford it without roommates like I had before. I would definitely suggest living here! Best place Ive ever rented from. I will say though, that parking will always be an issue. My roommate works late and she would come home at 1 am and there wouldnt be one single spot in the whole complex.
Ive had to update my review since new management has taken over. Every bad review you can currently read about Peak Living is true. I wouldnt even call what they do management. They are very rude, and extremely unprofessional. The crime has drastically gone up since theyve taken over, Ive had my license plates stolen and mail boxes broken into. The mail boxes havent been repaired and there has been no ETA given and its been about a month now. I would highly recommend living elsewhere as this community has become very low class, and is continuously becoming worse. There is no security here, and the management have no sense of urgency or care for your needs or for you as a person. If you need anything it is always an inconvenience to them and they are full of excuses especially for the crime that has gone up. This will be the last year I will live at this residence.
I love living in this community. I have even referred my father and sister, who now live here. It is a great place, and the staff does a wonderful job making it feel like home.
The best apartments I have ever lived in! The views were amazing and the place was so cozy!! Mary and Moriah at the front desk are always willing to help you. Even the maintenance crew was always so nice! I would move back without thinking twice if I was ever put in the position to do so.
Wow this apartments are amazing. I being here for a little over a year and I love the attention I get from the office.Every time I go there I feel so comfortable. It s clean very professional .Everything is just so nice at this place.
My husband and I absolutely loved living here. The staff is very friendly and the community is so great. We left because we moved into a home, but it was a great home for us until we could afford something bigger. I would highly recommend this apartment to friends and even family =)
Iβm not renting here, but I called to ask simple questions and one of the ladies that answered was very rude and talked to me like I was dumb for asking a question as if I should already know about there apartments. To me the first sign of a great or bad place is the management and office staff.
Leasing was a breeze. Staff is friendly and efficient. Quiet complex. I highly recommend living here. The only downfall is the parking. If its after sunset, just know youll have a good walk to your house. There are also ZERO bugs in this place. They are on top of pest control. I think they are a bit over priced if you cant take advantage of the income based housing.
These apartments are great if you are able to qualify for the lower rent rate. They are decently spacious and the walls keep out noise pretty well. Otherwise they are way overpriced. And parking is a joke if you live anywhere other than right by the office. There is never a spot open in any other area during the evenings and on Sundays. I lived here for 4 years and noticed within the last year they became way stricter about parking, which was already a struggle enough. The towing company (Klause) is very unprofessional and rude and drives around there a ridiculous amount looking for people to tow. They watch this place like a hawk and its obnoxious as hell. I parked in an unloading/fire lane for 30 minutes to unload my car once and it got towed. Create more parking since every single curbside area has to unnecessarily be labeled a fire lane!! Theres room for about 30 fire trucks to comfortably park here, lol.
Discriminating as hell, talked to the lady on the phone the evening before and she said she has a unit available for December but all of a sudden showed up the next morning, she said it has already been rented. She also pretended like she never even talked to me on the phone and looked at me up and down. Im not even worry. I know I am always the best tenant wherever I go so its their loss. I guess you have to dress up in suits and business like or at least look rich to be able to get an offer here.
Very rude staff. I was on the phone inquiry and the lady was so incredibly rude and wouldnβt recommend calling here.
Very disappointing and misleading service! We were very excited to move in until we got a call stating that βsomething significantβ has happened in the apartment that we were slated to move into and it was no longer available. Then we asked for our deposit back. We then were told that the deposit we put down to reserve the place, was cashed early. We were told initially the deposit would be cashed when the lease was signed.. in 2 months. Instead, it was cashed and now we have to wait for their corporate office to issue a refund. Itβs already been nearly 3 weeks and no refund. Itβs frustrating they couldnβt tell us what happened in the apartment but to cash the check after telling us that it wouldnβt be cashed until the lease was signed, is very disappointing and bad service. I wouldnβt recommend this place to rent from. Save your money and find somewhere else to live!
I love love it here been here for almost year! the manger and front officer manger and staff are very friendly and very helpful! only downfall there is hardly any parking :( other then that i love it! i would highly recommend living here!!
Im pretty happy living here. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful. My biggest complaint is the parking. There is not enough parking for the people who live here so we often have to park a ways away, which is annoying. Our vehicle has been broken into a few times since weve lived her, so I dont like that we cant keep an eye on it. My only other complaint is that the interior of the apartments could use some updates.
They just towed my daughters car that needed tires due to an accident. It was legal parked and the registration was up to date.
My husband and I came here to look at apartments. As soon as we walked in, the lady at the desk said they have nothing available until February. The lady at the front desk didnt even care enough to ask what size apartment we were looking for or when we were looking to move (which is February). At that point, I asked if she at least had a brochure of floor plans we could look at with price ranges for each style of apartment so we could keep it in mind in case they would have anything we would want to consider to move into, yet the lady at the front desk was very reluctant to give any information. She was very unfriendly and made it clear that we were wasting her time.
Recently my fiancee and I stopped in to see if they had any availability and the lady at the front desk didnt ask us anything about what we were looking for in regards to the units. We asked if she had any units available to look at and she said she was booked through to November. So we told her that we were planning on moving in November after which she told us that there were no units available at all. When we asked when the units would open up, all the lady said was that she had no units available. In short, the lady was rude, stupid and other things I prefer not to say. I would never want to stay here based on the front desk representative alone!
I used to love living here until management changed and wanted the place to look nicer than have rent be affordable. We just got our 2 month eviction notice out of the blue. We have been living here for almost 6 years and this is the first time this has been a problem.
I lived at the meadows for almost 9yrs left 3yrs ago I loved my place and staff always been good to me I plan on coming back :)
Would give a 0 if I could.***ATTENTION MILITARY***Pay very close attention to the military claus. If you can help it, do not move out in the middle of your lease even if they tell you that everything will be fine as long as you give a 60 day notice. They are charging me for months I wasnt even there and they did nothing to warn me. I hope you heed my warning. At the very least, decide not to take the chance at all and choose somewhere else to live.-USAF veteran
Worse place ever to live! Company lies to its residents! Place is never clean and they do not care if it is safe for the resident
So ready to find somewhere else to live. I lived in another unit here for a year and a half and never had a single complaint from multiple neighbors below me. When I moved to a new unit they paired me with a difficult tenant below me because I had never had any complaints and told me AFTER I signed the new lease. I was reassured that if my neighbor complained they would know its her not me. Now I am on my 3rd complaint of minor things like this (water dripping down to the patio below from my plants). They have sided with a tenant that they have already had many problems and are making a tenant that had given them no issues feel uncomfortable to go about daily activities in his own home. I love the actual complex but have continued to have issues with inconsistencies and mistakes made by the office staff, many in addition to the ones listed above. Avoid living here if you can.
Nice placeπ
Expensive, ontop of having obscure monthly fees of which I see no application for. Washer and dryer were never cleaned before previous renters. And the carpet is littered with stains. Roach infestations maybe not, rodent and bug problems still remain for lower floors though. And even if you take your own precautions in absence of the apartments, their year round pest control fee will remain. If you enjoy a hot shower, I hope Luke warm is good for you. And better get it done in under 5. Water pressure is just as horrible. However I will complement how the sink will support scolding hot water 24/7 with No relation to shower temperatures.Parking, seems fair. Until weekend sleepovers begin and your stuck parking, outside the parking lot. Even the few carports become free game due to lack of space. This place isnt built to be affordable, its built to make money. And as a native to Colorado, I find businesses such as these distasteful for the community. No matter how pretty the paint is.Edit: And as a response to the management, there are positives about the place, and I apologize if I only list the negative, however Im not going to boast for your advertisement, as my first, un-redeemable review for you did upon my move in.Even with all cons removed, this place is expensive, and claiming to be at market range, when its business like this that raise the market for their own benefit. I owe it to my fellow friends and community people to direct them elsewhere, because Im sure they are already considering the pros of a quiet community and others alike.Dont however claim its affordable. Especially for any independent living. Unless your receiving some kind of assistance, this is an expensive place to live, and its quality is more of a false sense of security. In a market where the price is non-negotiable, and usually steadily increasing, its the Job of the people to speak up and not support the worst of those businesses. I dont mind giving money for services, its when I start to feel hands reaching into my pockets afterwards, when I show my scorn.
My husband and I have been living in a one bedroom apartment here for over 3 years, and we are highly satisfied, especially with Mary and Mariah working in the front. They are fantastic at everything they do and have never made us feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed or have never ever been rude in any way. They are always so sweet when i need to speak to them and we just love them! Brian in maintenence has an outstanding character and works hard and even stays late to finish up the job if he needs to. The maintence crew has not failed us and have definately gone above and beyond to meet our requests. These people are dedicated to working hard for our comfort and are like family! Recently we just had our apartments painted and Mary, Mariah and maintenence surprised us at our door with dinner after all the painting was over, as a thank you for being patient while they made our home more beautiful. We had a reminder note on the door the day before that they would stop by between this time and this time and that if we were not home, they were going to leave a gift on the kitchen counter. They always give written warnings before entering your home so your privacy is respected. They truely care about this community and go above and beyond and we definately notice. Thank you team at stetson meadows. Your the real mvps!
Truly amazing!!! Mary and Mariah are absolutely amazing i have to say the worse part is the parking :-)
I have been living in this community for quite some time and although the residents often come and go frequently, the continual support and services provided for by the staff have always remained constant.
Awful awful place!! Management is horrible! Do not ever live here!
