I am a valued resident here at Eagle Ridge. I like most of the people that live here, they are pretty quiet besides the occasional tiny dog barking. They have many amenities to enjoy not to mention a beautiful pond with two families of duck. This complex just got a new Leasing Manager named Lindsay, she has treated me with compassion and respect. Lindsay and her team are working hard to make this place beautiful again. I really can say I love if here.
My daughter and her husband live here and they absolutely love it. They use the gym and sometime we go over and cookout at the pool where they have a nice clean propane grill. I forgot the managers name but she is very sweet to them. Actually, all the staff is great over there and when I visit I enjoy laughing with the lead maintenance man Ken. Hes great!
This rating is reflective of the customer service experience. In our search for an apartment that best fits our needs, both Lindsey and Chase have been exceptional in showcasing various amenities. The experience was personable, professional, and our questions were very confidently responded to. Great, 5-star representation in my opinion from staff, memorable and of good quality as well.
Mature trees, well-kept grounds, surrounded by nature, removed from the noise and heat of the city, quiet and peaceful, indoors and out, amazing views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne Mountain. The professional and helpful management team plan a variety of fun events to engage their residents and strive to make Eagle Ridge the best it can be. Lindsey was so helpful in assisting me with my move from out of state by walking me thru every aspect of my new place and helping me decide which apartment fit my wish list. She went above and beyond on the phone and with a video chat; it was great to have that connection with someone who demonstrated they were invested in finding a good fit for me. The maintenance staff was quick to address and resolve my concerns. It’s a short drive to all my favorite shops and there is a great grocery store right across the street. The wood burning fireplace is the icing on the cake. I feel safe here and highly recommend.
This is my first apartment ever and the staff treat you like family and if you call the office they know everyones name and number. It is walking distance to Safeway and about 15 or 20 min drive to downtown
First the pros: Safe area, within walking distance to Safeway, close to Ute Valley and Garden of the Gods, Bailey at the front desk was super nice. There is a trash chute which is nice on the third floor. In my unit I had two huge balconies for all the quarantine garderners.Cons: Oh does the hallways stink, and the stairways, and the elevator, which are necessary to walk through to get to your apartment. This is mostly due to dog urine, which was often in puddles in the elevator/hallways. The units are outdated, and the carpets have seen much better days. They say that the apartment building is secure with locks, however they were broken 70% of the time, so they took the locks off. Right before I moved out, they fixed the door but changed the lock to a key none of the tenants had, so we had to use the front door. Nothing in the apartment was in the best condition when we moved in. On top of all this, they charge multiple cleaning fees when you move out, which has not been standard for any other apartment I lived in.
I appreciate how quickly and thoroughly maintenance problems are addressed, and the location is phenomenal. Its older, but the price is right, the fireplace and balcony are great, and the layout is fantastic. I love feeling like Im in the hills and close to nature but also close to Safeway, restaurants, and even a library location!
This is our 2nd year at Eagle Ridge and we have enjoyed it since day 1! The location is amazing-just a walk from restaurants, bars, and shopping. And if you’re a fan of hiking there are two great trails that are less than a mile away. We love to take our dogs out hiking so that was a big plus. The staff here is amazing as well. They are always quick to respond to any questions or maintenance concerns. My husband and I would definitely recommend Eagle Ridge Apartments as your next place to live.
The employees no showed my walkthrough so I ended up staying in a motel for weeks waiting on a complex that has more reliable staff. Not going to pay $1700+ a month for this complex if they can’t even take the time to do a showing after I plan my day around it
Eagle Ridge has been amazing, we’ve lived here for about a month and the staff have all been extremely kind and helpful. Everyone from the office to maintenance have gone above and beyond to be prompt with any issues and helping us. Would definitely recommend eagle ridge to anyone looking for affordable quality living. Big thanks to the wonderful staff here at eagle ridge!
My family has been here for about 6 months now and love it. The people are friendly and helpful. Especially the front desk. They worked with us when we moved to Colorado from another state. There are deer in the parking lot periodically. I love it. :)
I had a very good experience at this place.Looking for apartments is tedious and frustrating. But Lindsey was very accommodating and friendly.Thank you for helping us.
We have lived here for years, and I can not wait to get out. It was decent before new management took over over the last year. The buildings are falling apart, the plumbing being the worst of it. Instead of spending money to fix these things, they patch over everything multiple times a year, and pretend the problems dont exist. The walls leak, theres mold everywhere, and we were told we were wrong when we brought it to managements attention. The water-soaked walls from the ground floor up say otherwise. The maintenence guy, Ken, is the best thing about these apartments, but he seems to be solely responsible for 10 buildings. Legitimately impossible for one person to keep 10 buildings in good condition, though he does his very best, and Im sure most of the rigged/cheap fixes are direction from management. We get condescending communication from the office constantly, and while they seem to spend hours compiling their own complaints about the residents, they do nothing to address ones brought to them. There are certainly plenty of deleted reviews (nothing over 2-3 stars the past years), so I have no idea how this has 4 stars now... oh wait! ***Thats right, the residents literally received incentives to write good reviews.*** Notice how all the good reviews are from the same date? The office consistently nit-picks the residents and it has become a stressful burden. Cutting corners to save money is VERY obvious. They stopped taking packages at the front office and their excuse is to spend more time taking care of residents, but since then, I cannot even get anyone to return my phone calls!!!! They shut the building utilities off FREQUENTLY, many times without warning. So plenty of time to send condescending emails and do you know what recycling is? quizzes (I am not exaggerating), but I cant get a warning when the water/electricity will be turned off. Also, maybe with all this new free time, the buildings could be properly sanitized, seeing as we are living through a pandemic. Half hearted vacuuming once a month does nothing. Its so unsafe. The ponds are mosquito breeding spots in the summer because they arent properly taken care of, as a cherry on top. They charge ridiculous prices as if this place is luxury, and in any other place rent would be $500 a month for conditions like this. Do. Not. Be. Fooled. Youll be better off living elsewhere.
I have lived here for 10 years. It has been very nice. The Office Staff, Housekeeping and Maint. have always been very helpful and friendly. They take care problems in a timely manner. I would recommend this place to anyone
The ppl at eagle ridge are just so amazing! Ken has made our apt feel lik a real home. We really enjoy the shopping across the street and the park down the road
The office and people at Eagle Ridge are really helpful. I came by looking for a one bedroom place to move to right away. They didnt have any for me but the manager, Zac, took the time to talk to me about what I wanted and gave me a bunch of options to check out. He even called and checked on availability for me. He ended up finding the perfect place for me at another complex.I just hope this office is as good as the one at Eagle Ridge.
Just moved in last month but have enjoyed the place so far. Office was amazing during move in and maintenance has been courteous and prompt. The view is amazing and the grounds are well kept
I moved in a few weeks ago. Shay was very helpful with all the questions I needed answered. She made me move in experience very smooth. Normally it seems chaotic, but moving into Eagle Ridge was a breeze. I was able to see the apartment I was moving into through photos and it was exactly what I expected when I actually moved in. I am very happy with my new apartment and the area. It is quiet and peaceful.
Probably the worst apartment complex Ive ever lived at. Just recently the new staff has decided they are too lazy to receive and sort out packages so now packages are just left in front of the buildings at a complex that has a serious problem with theft.A year ago they decided to fill in a pond behind my building but only got half way through filling it before they gave up and just left it.The appliances in my apartment are literally on their last leg yet they keep refusing to replace them for me.Weidner is a joke, the staff here is terrible and lazy and theres a very serious problem with theft here. Avoid this place like the plague.
Zach is the best property manager we have ever worked with. The management team is always so kind and ready to help with whatever issues you may have. Super happy.
Love the area and the people. The pond is very beautiful and I love the fountain in it. Great staff and great apartment glad I chose here
Great place to live! Our apartment was huge and everyone in the office was so nice and helpful during our move in. My wife & I really appreciate all the work they have done for us! The rent is a decent price for this area and the space + extras you get! I love the 24 hour gym & sauna!
Great place to live at, noise is very minimal. my apartment temp is maintained to what I want it at. I really like that there is a trash chute near my apartment, I hate having to go outside in the cold so the garage is amazing. When I do go outside I go to safeway which is right across the street so it is still very close. The people in the office are very attentive. Any issue I have had has been minor but was handled properly and timely. I enjoy living here and would recommend to anyone looking in the area
Its situated in a serene location. If you are concerned about safety then this should be your choice. It has an elevator which is an added advantage. But the buildings are old require a good renovation. Parking was sometimes difficult. The current manager is a good guy and approachable .We stayed for almost 2.5 years and overall it was not bad .
I loved so much about having lived there. The daily wildlife, the friendly neighbors, and the safety of these apartments was refreshing. The staff was awesome, even though there were a lot of changes in the office, the new people are fantastic and super friendly. The new manager, Zac was really helpful in helping me find my next place when I was moving out, going back home to Alaska. These are good apartments in a great location if you are looking to move to Colorado Springs! Thanks again to all the Eagle Ridge staff!
I understand how tempting it can be to only voice a negative opinion, but after reading a few of these responses, I think this needs to be said. Property managers, maintenance and leasing staff only have so much power to change things that large corporations set them up for. Zac, Ken and the Eagle Ridge staff are doing the best they can with what theyve been given. They do not control what FedEx does, the age of the buildings, or the constant market change. I am grateful for their help and patience.
Eagle Ridge as a community is a great place to live. I honestly cannot say enough about Zac, Shay, and Ken. I dont know the housekeepers name or she would be highlighted here too. They welcomed me so brightly and have been so responsive to any issues Ive run into. They see it or hear about it and its done. They are a great staff.I get some of the negative reviews, but that just comes with the age of the buildings. They are so old that they are going to have issues. Especially if the building was piped with copper when built. That and the settling of the buildings. But overall, These are great people with awesome intentions. I recommend Eagle Ridge over every other apartment complex I have lived at in Colorado, and that is a very good amount. - John
Me and my wife fell in love with these apartments when we toured them. The move in process was so easy. Julie was very helpful, she even helped us find a washer and dryer for a cheaper price instead of us renting. We use the gym that they have and its saved us so much money instead of getting a membership. I would highly recommend them!
I was really happy with these apartments for the price. When I moved in they told me the prices are cheaper than the surrounding area because they havent updated the interiors which is true. Its a great location and price for the area and I was happy with everything in and out. Nearby stores and restaurants and HIKING!!!!The only negative experience I had was with moving out. We busted our butts cleaning the apartment and even got a thank you from the staff on how thoroughly we cleaned. Out of our deposit of $350 we only received $99 back due to a apartment cleaning fee, a carpet cleaning fee (we had no pets) and painting touch-ups? Just a little confused on that.
I loved living at Eagle Ridge! The only reason I moved out was because I purchased my dream home!
Loved living at Eagle Ridge Apartment Homes! The location is wonderful if you like to be active or have a dog. Youre right across the street from safeway (which can also be dangerously convenient). Youre close enough to the hwy but far enough that you cant hear it. Everyone on property is really friendly. We were going to move out because of buying a house but it fell through so we transferred to a smaller unit within the complex. Highly recommend living here!
Loved our time living here. The staff is amazing and we really felt apart of the community. Location is perfect. Close to Garden of the Gods and the highway.
We moved here not long ago and are very disappointed. Zach will lie to you about just about everything to get you into an apartment. Theres no parking. Theres no places to receive your packages and you will have to pick up your packages from USPS UPS FedEx, or who ever is delivering you package. The management is rude and will not get back to your calls. If they say theyll do something they will not. The apartment hallways are dirty. Trash will build up outside the trashshoot. Its run like a much lower end apartment then what you pay for. Peoples dogs bark all night. Ive seen someones dog get attack by dogs being walked off leash and the management continues to do nothing. Dont rent here, stay far away.
Shaylynn is the best. She always takes care of my concerns and is so very friendly and helpful. I live in the best apartments in Colorado.
I have lived here close to 4 years. When I first moved in and for the first year or so, I loved it so much, I was proud to live here. Management changed a few months ago, and I have had some significant concerns (Aggressive loud dogs upstairs, major leaking issues, secured doors, very much Not secured...etc...) to no replies whatsoever. None. The leak was fixed 9 months after moving in. 9 months. Maintenance is a joke. The hot tub has never worked, not once. Washing your clothes is so expensive, and the quality of the wash is horrible. Parking is the worst. Ive almost been towed twice, when there Literally was no where to park. Literally not one spot on the property. No assigned parking for people that pay thousands to live there. Im happy to be moving.
Not worth the money. Heroine addict across the hall and nobody in the office does anything about it. Marijuana in most of the buildings. My kids were offered from different people in buildings. Maintenance was great when we moved in, but 10 months later they are unapproachable and rude at times. Off staff not always trained or truthful. Honestly I would suggest one of the other apartments in the area. Utilities are outrageous too. I pay half in a similar unit now that I only pay for my families usage.
If you would have asked me 2 years ago, I would have given this place 4.5 stars...rent was reasonable, maintenance was 24/7 and the place was well kept.....in those two years, my rent has skyrocketed, the building is falling apart and dirty, maintenance has gone AWOL (took 3 weeks to get a toilet seat replaced!), they change managers every 6 months so its like a box of chocolates...ya never know what youre gonna get, and am left wondering WHY I pay over half of my income to this place for a one-bedroom apartment??? Its sad because I really used to like this place
The staff here is awesome and have been amazingly accommodating and helpful during the application process all the way til move in.
I actually love the spaciousness of the apartments and the fact hat they have attached garages and huge elevators.
Nice location. Apartments are older but the maintenance ppl seem to take good care of it. Ppl in the off are nice.
Eagle Ridge is awesome! Lived there for almost a year and absolutely love it!
So I just recieved a 96.00 wst bill. There are alleged drug dealers in my building and the new tenants walk around with whiskey bottles in their hands. All this and more for 1200.00 a month.Toxic mushrooms growing inside building.new pictures just postedMaintenance request going on 3 weeks.Huge leak from ceiling spilling all over the hallway floor. My fireplace tiles falling off .My carpet is over 3 years old. Zach is a community director ghost. I was NEVER told about replacing anything. STOP LYING. Possible fire in 810 because they allows any and all smoking inside and outside and anywhere. I just saw someone smoking a cigarette on a breezy day next to a pile of dead wood garbage on their deck. No hot water. No kitchen lights for 4 days. No lighted exit signs for months. No handicap access. Cigarette smoke inside and outside. Ceilings falling down before your eyes. The rudest uncaring front office ever. No maintenance for weeks. A pond full of smelly disgusting garbage. No housekeeper. Filth. Eagleridge apartments are disgusting. More photos have been added because honestly there are no words.
If you have disabilities, I would suggest not moving to Eagle Ridge Apartments. The wealthy Weidner family doesnt care about people, they just want your money. Building 870 is a pig stye and the only reason I accepted the conditions was due to poor health. There are nicer places to live.
I love their floor plans! They are huge and the mountain views are to die for!
Living on the third floor is usually tough but not here because thy have elevators. I like having a garage that is under my building it’s connected to the lobby.
Great place to live!
Apartment are over priced for condition. Cracking subfloor, original tile in bathrooms, Stoves and refrigerators are original as well. For the price they charge they need new everything. Gone downhill since last lived there. Better off in another complex.
These apartments were originally built during the 1970s as an extended stay hotel to support business travelers to and from Silicone Mountain and since used as apartments. The Weidner Company has invested nothing in terms of upgrading these apartments. They are extremely aging inside, (check the condition of the cabinets) do not have handicapped access to all of the buildings, and some like the 850 building do not have parking for all residents.Beware of Weidners market value adjustments. You may move in at a lower rate, but your rent will increase dramatically, very quickly. Do your own comps, and you will quickly find better apartments for your hard-earned money. They do not value tenant retention.Deposits here can be astronomical and on-site management has a reputation for using every excuse in the book to keep most of it when you leave.Dont be too impressed with the office/business center. We were told shortly after moving in, that the downstairs common area was only for the use of the employees as a lunch room. Check out the condition of the exercise equipment and facilities. Oh and the business center turned out to be a side/open room off the main area upstairs, outfitted with two relic PCs and a sub-standard WiFi signal. If you intend to get any satellite, DO NOT take an apartment that faces north or north east, since you will not be allowed to have a receiver dish mounted on the roof and cabled to reach your apartment and a balcony dish will only work facing southwest.Insist on seeing the actual apartment you will be renting BEFORE you sign a contract. They make the model apartments look way better than the actual apartments. If you want ANY changes at all, ever, insist that they be made PRIOR to your move-in, or you will never see them done. When you do the move-in inspection do it with the Property Manager and document EVERYTHING in detail. get a signed copy.Plan to walk a ways to the TWO dumpsters that are provided for all of those apartments. Not nearly enough. To their credit, we encountered some nice people who worked there, but they served at the whims of the Weidner system.
Lived here for three years. Loved the elevators which really helped with moving
Dont move here. Maintenance was terrible and its been a couple months Im still waiting for my full deposit.
