I arrived at brake check at 7:40 am and left at 7:50 am. My oil change was done in ten minutes. The team was professional, helpful and understanding. Anthony did my oil change and I appreciate his professionalism, enthusiastic attitude and his time management. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick oil change done by real professionals.

Well, they got the job done and in a timely manner! Solid guys, they walked me through everything and even gave me a few recommendations! The guy I spoke to was Anthony. Great dude. Better advice. My only complaints are that I think just asking to bleed the brakes shouldnt be $65 and they should definitely have a military discount. Other than that 5/5 stars! Would go to them again the next time I get frustrated with my Ford Escape.

Big fan of this place, friendly, professional, knowledgeable group of guys. They were even willing to give me a ride home while my car was in the shop since their AC was out in the waiting room. I had my family drop off my van. I coordinated everything over the phone and paid through their text messaging app. Everything was really convenient and easy.

I visited Brake check College station today to get wheel alignment of my BMW X5. Tad Whited did the job for me. I have never seen a more professional and dedicated person in my life. He’s so honest to his profession. I myself have been in the car business for over 20 years now and I know bmw is not an easy one to work with. Mr Whited took his time and made sure the job was done well and I was satisfied before leaving. He truly went above and beyond. When I went here I thought my car would be an easy fix. But instead it ended up being a huge total break repair that ended up costing a lot of money. I am full time college student and recently just moved here from Houston so money was already tight. John was very professional, understanding, and had very good customer service. While Tad explained everything that was wrong really well. The whole crew even stayed a little after closing so I could have a vehicle to drive to class the next day. I definitely would recommend this place.

This place is extremely professional and the quality is amazing!! I called last minute because I work crazy hours and got out early they squeezed me in to do a brake and rotor check and they even had all the parts for my truck on hand and did it all in a very timely manner! The gentleman whom I had was amazing and treated us with the up most respect!!!

Thad was great! They did have some scheduling issues, but they were super busy I completely understand, but other than that when I got my entire brakes changed it only took about an hour or so. My brakes work great now!!

I heard an unusual noise several times when I braked so I took my car in to get the brakes inspected. The insurrection is free and as soon as they had checked it out (and without me asking for it), they took me to my car to show me how everything was fine. Didnt try to scare me into buying anything or getting some other service. Gave me the option of getting my rotors smoothed out but I said no and that was it. Will definitely go again.

I went here a few days ago and the guy that was in front was on the phone 10 minutes and saw me walk in and just proceeded with his conversation. Then gets off the phone and says Can I help you ? Like if its my fault that I interupted his conversation. I asked about when I can get a alignment and he said Yea let me make you an appointment and said I wont be able to get you until 3pm and it was 11:20am. He asked me if I wanted to get in line and so I did, thinking I was going to get it done the same day and I noticed he had two guys that were just standing around doing nothing and on top of that I never got a call back to when it was my turn. This shop is one of the most worse shop ever. I would go to the one in houston and had better service and come to find out they got shut down and found this one that is the worst shop ever and its still in business. DO NOT GO HERE.

Over charges and acted differently when I told them I have warranty! I understand everyone is here to make money but when your a paid customer, you should be treated as one.....on another note, we were waiting for 4 hours.

These guys get you in and out quickly and Ive never felt over charged. They make sure that they fix all tour cars problems even if its something you werent aware of on your initial visit.

You’d think you schedule an appointment for a reason, right? That reason being so that the time you chose (that the website let you choose) can be reserved for you and the services you need, right? Well, not here. :) Showed up for my appointment that I scheduled over 24hrs in advance just to be told they don’t see me on the schedule. They then find my appointment on the schedule (after they tried saying my confirmation email wasn’t legit) and tried to play it off by saying someone else had scheduled an appointment at the same time so therefor mine would have to be canceled cause there’s no way of telling who scheduled theirs first. Mind you, at this point it’s already after the time that my appointment was scheduled for and the other person has yet to show up. :) let’s not forget to mention that I paid this place for lifetime alignments as well, it’s great not receiving the services you’ve already paid for. Keep up the great service ya’ll, we appreciate it big time. Btw, anyone got any good recommendations on any local shops here in town that are good at brake repairs & oil changes? Thank you :’)

I am out of town and was looking to get an oil change . I called the customer service number and she quoted me 29.99 for synthetic blend oil change and told me there was a $5.00 coupon online . I get to the location and he gave me price of $63.99 for full synthetic. I told him blend was fine and he refused to put that in my car. I as the owner should be able to choose what goes in my car . So needless to say if it sounds to good to be true it probably is .... I thought that was a little to cheap so I left without the oil change.. I will pay more just because y’all tried to make more money .

You know how you go to some places and you can just tell that they don’t care about the customer or his/her opinion? This isn’t one of those places. Chris made this the most easiest and comfortable shop visit ever. He went the extra mile to make sure my vehicular concerns were addressed. They got it going on at Brake Check.

In the last week, I’ve been here three times with both of my vehicles. My Altima got a brake job (over $500,) and my Infiniti (over $400). I get the price. They did several things with the brakes that needed to be done. When I picked up my Altima I was told they would do the alignment for $59. This is also the price advertised online. A few days later I went back for the alignment and they charged me the full $75. After I got back home to verify the add I called for an explication. After I was told all the ways it was my fault the gentleman told me that I could come back up there to receive a refund of the difference. When I picked up the Infiniti I was told that the front driver side rotor was probably going to give me a problem. Do they not replace rotors at a brake shop?? So now I get to take it somewhere else to get a new rotor put on. This place is a joke. They had the potential to gain business from family also well but failed.

I went to the Brake Check in College Station onUniversity. I came in extremely flustered and confused but the worker at the front desk, named Chris, immediately calmed me down and made sure I knew he would take care of an problems my car was having. Chris was extremely respectful, polite, patient and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood what was wrong with my car and how to prevent the problem from happening again. I brought my 2006 Toyota Corolla here, my brakes were screeching loudly. They fixed the issue and took me in the back and showed me the brakes. My car is riding better now they went above and beyond and it was very affordable.

Arrived today for my 4pm appt only to be told that it was at 4:30 then I showed them the confirmation text and he continued to make excuses as to why it’s a good idea to make appointments in the after noon because they always have something unexpected going on. They didn’t even bother to give me a courtesy call that there would be a delay. They were standing around when I got there I’m sure someone could’ve picked up the phone and given me aheads up and i could’ve arrived a bit later.

They ordered brakes on Sunday since they didnt have them to arrive on Tuesday, and the vehicle would be there Wednesday for service. Went there early Wednesday morning but the brakes had not arrived yet, they arrived around noon, so then had to take the vehicle for service. They could of called Tuesday night telling us the brakes were still not there.

Went in for an oil change on my daughters truck. She is going to school in Galveston. We have a lifetime alignment with them. They did the oil change and checked alignment. The alignment was out and they did not put it back in alignment or call me to see if I wanted them to put it back in alignment. Now, we have to wait until she comes back home to get this corrected. I was very disappointed in this customer service.

Ive gotten two oil changes thus far. The people that have assisted me have been extremely helpful and honest. Every 4th oil change is free, you cant beat that!

I brought my 2003 ford explorer and needed to get my parking brake checked. They assessed the problem with my car and were really honest. My previous mechanic did not warn me that they disconnected the emergency parking brake which was the cause of the break warning sign and it not retracting. I came in at 7:30 am and left around 7:45 am. So grateful to have stopped by this place and they let me know the problem and how they were going to fix it/remove the warning sign. If I have any more problems with my breaks or other services my car needs, I will definitely be coming back to have them take a look and fix the problem.

DO NOT COME HERE I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE. I’ll keep it short and simple. What was supposed to be a 3 hour break job took 5 hours. I called in multiple times to see how much longer and they kept up’ing the time. They told me they would contact me and never did. I told the “director of operations Wes” who was working that I missed a house warming party and he told me “oh it’s just a party”.Called corporate and they did nothing about it. This place is terrible. Go somewhere else for your car needs.

I received poor customer service at this location. Brought my vehicle in and was told it would take about 45 minutes to get it in. Sure. No problem. Went to go grab food next door and came back and it still wasnt in. I asked the guy at the desk and he told me my car was next. I stepped outside to make a phone call, see the car before mine come out and thought mine would be next. I then see another employee pull a different car into the bay. I confront that guy, who appeared to be the manager, and he told me he didnt know my car wasnt a drop off. He said the car that went up was here before me and I told him no, I went to grab food and that I had my car here since 2:25pm. At this writing it is currently 3:51pm and my car still hasnt been in the bay. The manager then told me to give him 10 minutes and hell get me in. This isnt how you conduct business. There should be communication between the employees so that people can get in and out. All I want is an oil change. This will be my last time coming to Brake Check.

Good customer service. One of the jobs ended up taking 4 hours (they gave me an estimate of 1.5 - 2 hours), but they made up for the delay by giving me a free oil change for next time I need one. Gave me a good deal on the stuff I needed done too. Would recommend coming here for sure.

They were extremely friendly and very quick. They were also much cheaper than two other places I visited in College Station.

When you go to redeem a coupon for an oil change that was priced at $19.88 compared to $29.98 and still pay $28 and some change, I fail to see the $10 savings.The customer service was less than hospitable, helpful or in my opinion honest concerning the services I received.

If I could give these place -10 I would. Horrible inexperience. Staff tried to take advantage of you in every way possible. I had issue with the work they trying to sell me. Then I had called there corporate office about 5 hours later gentleman by the name Wes called and said he was operations director. After talking to him for about 5 minutes he became VERY rude aggressive and insulted me in every way he could. I would NEVER go there again and in my opinion these should not be open. They don’t take responsibility for their actions.

Had some issues with my front suspension and the people at Brake Check were amazing and honest. They fixed the main issue at hand and addressed other ones as well. The manager offered great advice and input for my vehicle and was able to get my truck fixed in no time flat. This is one of few shops I highly recommend in the whole Bryan and College Station area. Keep up the amazing work and will definitely return if I have any more issues.
