I stopped in because my brake light was out and I couldnt access it because the screw was stripped. I had already bought the correct bulb and they were able to put it in for $23. The mechanics all seemed to enjoy their job and were very professional and quick getting the job done.

Experienced great customer service at this facility. The guys did a great and quick job working in the heat to install new tires and perform alignments. Tires were also of a very fair price.

I was cheated by here. I want to repair the handle of my car and change oil. Then I make phone call to several auto repair space. They all said I need to wait for several days. Goodyear said “you could come and we will check for you.” When I went there, they charge me $65 and said all the things you want will be repaired. And they also check my car for a long time and charge $1600 to repair lots of things. When I got my car, I just found that the handle is still broken. When I go back to ask, they told me that they cannot fix it that day. And they tried to fool me to pay lots of money!

In six years of living here I have pretty regularly visited this goodyear with varying experiences, but its always been decent and I come to it pretty consistently for my vehicles needs. But this time around Richard Mccabe was the guy helping me out in the front and he really impressed. Not only was he knowledgeable about the products but he talked me through pricing and helped me find a compromise that was within my budget but met the quality standards I needed to get back on the road. The team that they have here care about getting things done, and doing them right. Richard even took ownership of an issue that came up getting the parts delivered for my vehicle this time around, before I even knew about it he had it handled and got the job done!

If I could leave negative stars, I would!!!My tires needed replacing and I have always gone to Discount. I had a coupon for Goodyear so I took a chance and went to them. The tires that needed replacing were not only wore out, they were making a horrible noise. Very loud inside my car. The day after my tires were put on, I left town. I noticed the noise was still there. The next chance I had, I went back to Goodyear and told them how noisy the tires were. I didn’t have a chance to leave the car with them that day but I wanted them to make note and told them I would call them to make an appointment to bring the car in to be looked at. They told me at that point that the noise was normal because they are low profile tires.The front passenger side of my car developed a weird noise. I took it to Goodyear and was told my struts needed replacing. My car is 5 years old. It didn’t sound right to me but I took them for their word. Got the struts replaced and complained yet again about how noisy my tires are and that it’s getting worse. “It’s normal”The technician was standing inside and was basically treating me like I was an idiot telling me that the tires are low profile and are going to be noisy. I snapped back that I drive a Lincoln sedan and can assure you that it is NOT SUPPOSED TO SOUND LIKE IM DRIVING A 4x4 WITH MUDDERS ON IT!!!! Then I was told my rims were bent and needed replacing. They cross rotated the tires and it wasn’t any better.Fast forward a couple of months and the AC needed some work done. I wasn’t sure where to go but I KNEW I WAS NOT taking it to Goodyear! I went to Sevicks and let them fix the AC. I go in to pick up my car after it was done and low and behold, they tell me my front hub bearings needed to be replaced.I had the work done and guess what? My car doesn’t sound like I’m driving around with mudders on it! Noise is GONE!!!!!Had the Goodyear technician been more interested in finding out what was causing the noise than arguing with me that there was nothing wrong, they would have gotten all my work. As it stands now, they’ve lost a customer and I will tell everyone I know NOT to do business with them.And oh by the way, the noise it developed on the front passenger side is still there after I paid hundreds of dollars to have the struts replaced. They have NO IDEA what they’re doing there!!!

I had to exchange engine oil and check tire maintenance. They did tire rotation for me on the top of exchange oil and the price was reasonable. Also they let me know I have to register my vehicle since I havent for 3 months although I got the inspection, so I could register my car. It was very nice.

2/28/19 update: 5 starsI’m very happy with this location again. Paul is the new manager. Paul is leaps and bounds better than the former manager. I came in and this morning Steve helped me out when I came in. I came in for an oil change, tire rotation, and a few other things I wanted checked out. I had to leave my truck due to their schedule and the amount of time it would take to get my service, I didn’t mind one bit. The oil change price is fairly reasonable considering they will rotate your tires, most other places this is an extra cost. I’m glad the old manager is gone and I will gladly give Paul or Steve my business as long as they’re working at this location.Michael is right that they’re seriously understaffed. Used to take 45 minutes to an hour now for an oil change. I just went by and I was told it would take at least 2 hours with only one car in the bay. I asked the guy if I could just schedule something at 6 when I get off work and he said no because they leave at 7. He said they’re already pretty much shut down by 6 so don’t even bother. Not coming back to this Goodyear location ever again. The staff used to be great here but not anymore, customer service sucks here now. I wish I could give less stars.

I never have to worry about my vehicle, they always provide excellent care. They are always upfront and explain work that is required to keep my vehicle in the best possible condition. They also provide all options available and I never feel pressured when it comes to making decisions about the work needed. Justin is very knowledgeable, professional, polite, courteous, and friendly. I always feel relieved to see him behind the counter when I get there. Like tonight, I went in for a scheduled oil change and asked if they could do a state inspection, no problem and he took care of the alignment which was under warranty. Excellent service for my vehicle and me from all staff at this location. Never a long wait, even for unscheduled repairs. These mechanics know their stuff and get it done right. Such a relief for me and peace of mind, to know they are taking care of my vehicle and have my best interest in keeping me off the side of the road or towed away. Great introduction to a service-oriented team as I settled my Texas A & M student into the area equipped with a tire service warranty from back home. Then, they were Johnny on the spot when we needed a last minute safety inspection for the Texas tags (yep, Texas requires them on back and front). They even installed the tag on the front, though not a typical service they provide, since we didnt have the necessary tools.

We were leaving town to drive back to our city when we noticed the low tire pressure warning light. Just a few weeks back, the same thing happened while leaving Houston and it was a nail in the tire. If we had dismissed the warning light, it would have caused a dangerous situation on the highway. We decided to go to the nearby Goodyear to have it checked out. Turned out no nail or serious damage-only a little low on air. The guys got on it right away and when asked how much we owed, they said nothing. This is rare these days and greatly appreciated. I have been using Goodyear since the 1980s and moved here in 1999. Needless to say, I have always been impressed by the work Goodyear provides.This Goodyear is exceptional in customer service and the quality of work. They provide work based on need as well as manufacturers guidelines, and age and condition of the vehicle. They also outline what may be needed on the vehicle in the future. I have a truck with 160,000+ miles and they take care to make sure it lasts another good while.I was in yesterday for a scheduled oil change. I knew the brakes needed replacing from a previous visit and the age of the brakes. I had not scheduled this visit, but they were able to replace them while I was there.Justin, the manager knows you by name and even knows who you are and your vehicle when you call. The mechanics are top notch and their technicians are also great. When the vehicle is in the gagage there is regular communication to let you know what is going on and how much longer it will take.I would highly recommend this Goodyear. I cannot speak of other Goodyear locations in the area because this is the only one I have ever used.

Had a great experience at this Goodyear location! After the weather turned chilly the Low Tire Pressure indicator came on. I filled the tires myself and didnt think anything more of it until the next week when I started having to fill them every day.Took it in to Goodyear and the checked all 4 tires, filled them, didnt see anything obvious and told me to come back if I had any further issues. Came back the next day, the put the offending tire in the dunk tank, found the offending nail and fixed it FOR FREE.I work in customer Service, so pretty aware of it when utilizing local vendors; Justin and the team at Goodyear were extremely professional and pleasant.Thanks for getting me safely back on the road!

Im not one to write reviews. I went in to get a trailer inspected. Well I got that done. The nice person in front of we was getting her car inspection done. They failed her and straight up lied to her about why. They were trying to sell her a service. Congratulations Goodyear you just lost two customers for life. I will not set foot in there again.

Worst shop! Not worth it!

I went in for an alignment and the car would still not drive straight. Went back in again and they told me I had to replace both lower control arms and bushings of the car, for which they gave me a quote of over $700. I asked them to refund me the money for the alignment since this issue should have come up in the inspection they did to my car the same day I got the alignment, and now I was going to have to get the parts replaced and then get another alignment. The only thing they offered me was to give me a second alignment for half the price. Thank God I found another place that would do it for a more reasonable price and a free alignment. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Did not give a state inspection for a car previously registered in Travis County despite the cars owner having a valid Brazos County address. Otherwise they have been okay in the past. Manager seemed to simply want a way out of performing an inspection.

This place is awesome, younger guy checked out my tire that firestone said was mesquite thorn and they had to replace the whole tire, Goodyear looked at it and the thorn wasnt even a problem, it was about a 5 inch nail that firestorm overlooked, he fixed it really fast and as I went up there to pay it ended up being free! Incredible! They were very nice too!

Went to have a inspection to see why there is whining noise coming from the engine. They told me I need to replace four tires to solve the problem, which cost me more than 600$. HOWEVER, the problem is still not solved and the technician told me the noise I described is normal and he didn’t find anything abnormal despite the tire. My tires just run for no more than 20000 miles which are still pretty new. After that, went to Ford dealership to have a inspection and they found out it’s the problem of the wheel bearing and the problem is solved perfectly. I think the Goodyear auto care is always trying to sell you something you don’t need instead of helping you solve the real problem. WON’T go there not a single time again.

Im from Houston, and honestly didnt expect the EXCEPTIONAL customer service that I received. There was a mistake made with my appointment being accidentally cancelled. Instead of requesting I come back, they still honored my appointment. Goodyear, Im sorry I dont remember the managers name, but the evening guy represents your core mission statement and he is the reason you have a customer for life with my entire family! The difference between a positive and negative review is the person that rectified the situation!

It took them over an hour to change my oil. mind you, thats an hour of them working on it, plus a half hour of them working on another ladys car. I could have done it myself in far less time. I got a story for you Ags! Don’t go to this location unless you have no other choice. I came in because I needed a flat tire fixed up and placed back on my vehicle. This is a free service, and I still ended up paying $300 for it. They had a technician that patched it up which is great. However, he managed to break the wench/cable system that holds the spare tire in place underneath the vehicle (I drive an F-150). They came to ask me about it when they couldn’t lower the cable and I literally witnessed the tech crank the system clockwise instead of counterclockwise. I stopped him and pointed this out to him, and he had to stop and think about which direction counterclockwise was. Apparently they don’t teach techs “righty tighty, lefty loosey”... They quickly gave up once they realized it was broken, placed the spare in the bed of my truck, said they didn’t have time to fix it, and got me out as quickly as possible. Of course I live in Dallas and it was a Sunday so I had no choice but to head out home. I had to take it to the dealership and pay over $300 in parts and labor for a flat tire... I made a claim and they tried to say that I had broken the part before I brought the truck in and would only pay half of the damages. The only reason I’ve placed 1 Star is because you have to. The girl at the front desk was actually very nice as well, so I will dedicate the one star to her.

I went to get a simple oil change. They told me it would take 2 hours, but I had some shopping to do within walking distance so I agreed. After no phone call, I came back 2 hours and 20 minutes later, they said they wouldnt be able to get to my car for 2 more hours! I left to go elsewhere obviously. Thanks for wasting my entire Saturday, goodyear. Never again.

The oil change is so over priced. I went to Walmart and it took 45 mins. yes but saved $25.00 for the same service. Thats Walmart College Station.

Each time I use Goodyear Auto Service, I am impressed with not only the work they do on my car, but the efficiency, courteousness, and fairness that this well-managed company displays! I took my 10 year old car in for just a check-up because, although it has never given me any problem, I figured there had to be some thing(s) that were due for maintenance. I basically told them I wanted to do what needed to be done to my car to keep it running smoothly for another (hopefully) 10 years. Well, some auto shops would have jumped at the chance to go crazy on what all they thought my car needed (especially since I was female and not all that up on car repair). The manager, Justin Birdwell, contacted me, told me that my car was actually in pretty good shape (!) and gave me a list of a few things that he felt needed to be done, and some that may need to be done in the future, but were not critical at this point. There was never any hard sell or pressure, which I greatly appreciate, and my questions were answered with patience and honesty. I gave the go ahead and my car was ready to be picked up by 4:30 that afternoon. I found the price of the work/labor to be very reasonable. My daughter and I have used this business a few times over the years and each time we are impressed with the professionalism and quality of work that we receive. Also, the lobby is comfortable for those who choose to wait; very clean and tidy with TV, wireless internet, coffee set up, and bathroom. Even the actual garage area appeared well-organized and clean and tidy! I will continue to recommend Goodyear Auto Service Center to all friends and family who are in need of an honest business with good work ethic. They did not pressure me about getting it done, they were super up front and honest, explaining in detail the pros and cons. They gave me a quote and gratefully left. When I came back again a few weeks later I had 2 other quotes for the service, an ad from another shop and that 25% coupon they gave me earlier. A different manager took a look, asked me to wait a minute, crunched the numbers, and came back to beat the lowest quote and gave me BOTH discounts!GENIUS!!! Love these guys. Thanks Goodyear! If you want your tires aired, they can probably do that, dont get the timing belt replaced at this location. They replaced my timing belt but forgot to tighten the bolt, they gave me this classic line of this car does not have compression and if i were you I would not drive that car. I retreived the car and took it to my mechanic in Houston, the timing pulley tensioner is loose, broke a couple of pins on the pulley, damaged the bearing due to un-tight tensioner, car runs great. To make things even more interesting, when I told the manager what the REAL problem was there workmanship. The answer was you should have taken it to another Goodyear place to check it out, yeah right.

Went for an alignment, got car back, was pulling the opposite way afterwards, steering wheel wasnt straight, and soon after started self adjusting, semi-dangerous, went back, they tried to charge me again, but it was under warranty, dont think they did anything when I brought up it was free, for car back and same issue as before, just steering wheel straightend, but it still adjusts itself randomly, would rather shell out $90 and get it done somewhere else, then go back 3rd time

Ive gone nowhere else for the last 8 years, but my last service was the worst. I tried pointing out that my dash wasnt put back correctly and old foam on floor. They just looked at it and gave excuses which caused more issues. They said they would quote me for the additional work, but its been 5 weeks and I dont think they want to fix it.

Way overpriced for average service. Broke piece of my car while in their care and didnt offer to have it replaced. Dont go
