This is LA Fitness renamed with a few new pieces of equipment and some new things. Its still a great place to workout. Still the same hreat fitness classes. I sill stay a member here

The dunedin one doesnt have a sauna so I have to drive out here to use this one. I get here, there are 3 people at the desk. Ones playing on a switch console, the other 2 on their phones. I walk into the sauna and its just filthy. So many soaking paper towl bunches people threw everywhere and water everywhere. There is even a murky brown puddle right under the bench RIGHT NOW! Im literally typing this in the parking lot. Had to leave so early cause it felt nasty to be in there and even take in the air. Just awful.

I enjoy my gym. It is only 26.99 per month for unlimited everything. No contracts and I can cancel anytime without the 60 or 30 day notice bs other gyms do. The facility is also very clean.

Large gym, inexpensive membership with plenty of equipment and a decent lap pool. My personal trainer Cornelius is excellent. My only issues are with the security at the door in the evening hours, it seems lax and the level of cleanliness of the jacuzzi. Otherwise a good gym to belong to.

Great gym, highly professional and friendly staff, and great equipment. These guys know their stuff about fitness. If you have no clue what to do to speak with Jay the GM and the other GM for training they help my wife and kid get into shape. Theses guys are good for the community.

I have had a great experience at this location. Staff is very friendly. Cleanliness is above average compared to other locations I have been to. If you are looking for an awesome and experienced personal trainer, ask for Aaron. He is a great motivator!!!

Great fitness center with friendly staff and clean equipment. The pool is only 3 lanes, which could make getting a lane difficult but usually it is not a problem. They offer classes including ones that are similar to CrossFit. They have a basketball court, sauna, hot tub, and spin classes. The price to join and use everything is very reasonable.

Very clean, the atmosphere is great, lots of classes to take, pool, there is something for everyone.

Open and spacious. I only wish they had multiple weight machines. Some of my favorite ones theres only one and its a pain when you want to go in and out. Wasnt too packed when I went around 7pm. They could do a better job with the cleaning station. Maybe signs and have someone monitor that its being done as I seen a few that didnt. Love the sauna as well for after workouts.

The air conditioning need to be colder. I didnt like the girl going around asking if people wanted to sign up for a personal trainer. She literally was interrupting peoples work out. Other then that it is a great gym !!

Great gym and their new business model is unbelievable!

The personal trainers arent very focused on there client and dont make them feel good about themselves when the customer opens the door to there life. I am not expecting them to be a head shrink, but it would be nice for the people that work there who work with people to be a little sympathetic to someones situation on why they cant do something that might limit there abilitys. Being friendly supportived uplifting. Alot of people there have good qualitys about themselves its not everyone. All I am saying is it would be nice to interact with people that your working with to feel your not feeling judged by that person. They dont know people who they really are cause they dont give them much of a chance. I am learning how to interact with other people cause I dont have many friends. But I am learning to not be too much of an open book. I kno its apart of life where there are people who are gonna come off kind of cold. Its sad that they haved a warped mind and a twisted sense of humor. Thats part of joining a gym not everyone you meet is on the same wavelength. I know personal trainers make good money but on the outside they as people never seem happy unless they wake up and realize they are living a pipe dream if they could have what they wanted. Everyone who wants better lives arent ever really happy with what they have in front of them that god has provided for them and blessed them with. I have one piece of advice for anyone who wants to join a gym if your the type of person that worries about peoples cynical criticism and you get your feelings hurt when you get called stupid and your someone with anger and you dont know how to handle yourself and you take it offensively dont bother joining a gym or get enrolled as a member. Be warned leave your feelings at the door! cause know one cares about your feelings anymore. God said out of his mouth that the beginning of sorrows in those days peoples heart will wax cold. Like I said not everyone is like that. But its the truth you can see the division all around you. No one says hey to random strangers at the gym anymore and tries and gets to know that person without judging them before hand. 2-3 years ago people would go out of there way to introduce themselves at the gym and help one another. You dont see that all to often anymore. There still is hope left in humanity. But its a resource that humanity is beginning to run out of. Cause of our government letting down this country so badly. Other than that I think Esporta Fitness is a great gym and is a good place to workout. I like the fact that they added a crossfit area to increase there customer base. They have every element that a gym should have. One thing they dont specialize in is strong man implements if you want train for that sort of thing. But it is still a great bodybuilding and power lifters platform. Another great thing about this gym is you can post your own training sessions finally. If you have any kind of social media that will allow you to post workout videos. Thank you and have a nice day get out there and crush the hell out of those strength goals. There not gonna crush themselves by you sitting on the couch being a fat slob. Thank you may god bless you before his return as the lion judah.

I work out here everyday I have went from a size 18 to a 14. My goal is to be a size 10. This is my 6th week. They have all the equipment I love. Its always clean

Really like this gym, machines and space are nice but it is almost impossible to breathe in there. It seems as though the AC isn’t working and even after multiple complaints, nothing has been done.

Great place. They have everything you need and keep adding. Friendly staff. They keep it extremely clean. I signed up with Jay. He treats me as a guest and not a number. My wife loves all the group classes they offer.

I came with my boyfriend as a guest and the trainer was very pushy about me getting a personal trainer. Just leave people alone to work out. If your so desperate about a sale just go work at a dealership or something

Great gym!I was sceptical when LA FITNESS adopted the name Esporta, but its a nice, clean gym with state-of-the-art equipment and some amazing classes, including yoga. Glad I found this place! It has great parking, as well as some other nice shops in the same Plaza.

The gym is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The atmosphere at the gym is unmatched and having access to a basketball court and sauna are great features that keep me coming back as well.

This is an excellent place to workout and a membership of $25 gets you plenty of machines and equipment, a 25 meter 3 lane pool, sauna, jacuzzi, locker room and showers, basketball court, free classes like yoga, spinning and zumba and a friendly staff. Then theres the opportunity for personal training which is separate and pricy but worth it. Im glad I joined.

For the price being offered you cannot find a better gym. The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable and will make sure to answer any questions you might have with your best intent in mind.

This is a great gym that is clean and not too crowded. The staff keep the place very clean and the General Manager is always walking around and checking things. Mike the assistant Sales manager is very informative without being pushy.Great price and great Gym. Get there and get healthy!!!..Ben

Been going to this gym for about 3 years now. The staff is friendly and there’s really not much turnover. They keep it pretty clean and there’s pretty much all the equipment you need including a new turf section. They’ve also started operating under a new brand which lowered their membership pricing and extended their hours to match a lot of their competitors.

ESPORTA is amazing they have a large clean facility

One of the things that makes this gym stick out is their lap pool and aquatic fit classes. Definitely an asset

Spa tub only cleaned two times a week Mondays and Wednesdays. Not everyone properly cleans machines after use, showers and private courts very clean!

I’ve been to several LA fitness locations. This is by far my least favorite. Located in an old building; no fans or TVs. Usually extremely warm inside. They definitely need an upgrade. I’d rather travel farther for a nicer gym that has ac and fans that work

Cleanliness of gym has deterioated. Floors have not been cleaned in the past a days, same dirt under stationary cycle I use. Machines noticeably dirty and have not been cleaned and this is with Covid?. Will cancel and move membership. Would post pics if I could

I’ve been coming to this location for 3 years I like that it doesn’t get that busy and I like that they have sanitizing spray always available. The only downside of this place is one of the employees I think he’s a cleaner around the store but he can be kind of creepy and I find him staring at me

Ive been to most of the LA Fitnesss in the Tampa Bay area, in my opinion this is the best one. Even during peak hours it is no where near as packed as some of the other gyms. During peak hours I usually able to get my entire workout done with only needing to wait on 1 machine. During none peak hours Im able to get my entire workout done with no problems. The staff is great and this is the only LA Fitness that has a basketball court. They also have a pool at this location.

Love the pool and the free weight area. Been going here for a while now; it’s clean, and the staff is super friendly!

I joined the gym for the classes and the pool. I thoroughly enjoy both. Facility is clean and nice atmosphere. There are lots of machines for those who use them and a gym and spin room. Good value to get the multi facility membership if like me you want the classes.

Literally every staff member Ive talked with has been friendly helpful and knowledgable. I honestly get the feeling the treat my fitness goals as their goals.

Havent actually been there to use any of the equipment as I have just signed up. The place look clean and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful.

This is a great gym! I have gone to a lot of different gyms traveling and moving around. This is one of my favorites so far. Sometimes they run out of paper towels during busy times. However, they are refilled quickly. The staff are great and I enjoy seeing them when I come in.

If I could give this gym ZERO stars I would without hesitation. Better yet a negative rating would better suit. I have been attending basketball games at this gym for about 4 weeks now and I have been told something different every single time. The very first time I came to watch my boyfriend’s team play myself and my friend, whose boyfriend is also on the team, were waved right through by the young man at the front desk. Again we are only watching, not using any gym equipment... not even playing just watching. The second week one of the “managers” told us it would be $15 for us to go in and WATCH the game. We told him that last week we were not made aware of a price and we’re just waved through and he said he would let us in this time. Ok cool. The following week we had two printed out guest passes that we gave to Steve, a different manager, and he let us in with no issues. Now today the first manager we encountered gave us a hard time AGAIN and said it would be $15 even though our guest passes were supposed to last 7 days. We explained to him that we presented our passes last week to Steve and 7 days would be today and he said there’s nothing he can do and it’ll be $15. He was very arrogant, rude, and snarky. He then tried to point out that someone had complained about the chair I bought with me to use to watch the game. Keep in mind I am SIX months pregnant. I would much rather sit in my chair than the filthy ant covered floor they have in the basketball court. I highly doubt anyone complained about the chair, he just wanted to find any reason to argue with me. The lack of consistency and professionalism is ridiculous and the exact reason why I refuse to get a gym membership at this,or any, LA Fitness.

If you want to go to this gym just to work out it is fantastic! Plenty of machines and space.However do not sign up for their personal training courses, it is a complete rip-off. I would like to be very clear that their personal trainers are excellent at what they do and this has nothing to do with them, but the prices they charge and the contract they lock you into will have you pulling out your hair when the time comes to try and end the agreement. This company is just too big for its own good, when there is an issue they do not own up to it and correct it so therefore they have lost my business.

Terrible experience! My pregnant best friend and I travel 30 minutes for her boyfriend to play basketball in their gym, the manager who is extremely rude refused to let us in the gym to simply watch them play, not working out not using any equipment or anything! Manager wants us to pay $15 just to sit there and watch our boyfriends play. He also stated people were complaining about us watching the basketball game! Really ridiculous that we’ve been coming to the game for months and now we are a problem? TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Went in on a 3 day pass. Equipment is great, but its so HOT in there. Seems like there is no AC on or ventilation system, no fans. Nothing. Thought I was going to pass out. I had to leave. I have experienced this in another LA Fitness also. For that reason only I wont become a member.

I really like this gym! It’s very spacious, clean, and modern. Also, the equipment is new and they have a lot of machines, which means you don’t have to wait around for someone to finish up in order to get a good workout it. This is a huge plus around the busy 5-7pm timeframe.If you’re looking for a personal trainer, I recommend CJ! He’s really knowledgeable and patient without being pushy about services. And he has a boxing background, which is a plus.

My daily go to gym after work. They have to many cardio machines, in my opinion and not enough benches for all your chest workouts. It does get crowded during peak times so if youre trying to go for a quick workout, I suggest you go early or late at night.

I used to go to the LA Fitness in Land O Lakes, but recently relocated to Clearwater, so I started going to this gym bc its convenient for me on my lunch breaks. While this one has more amenities like a pool and a basketball court, I think the layout is poor, they have less equipment to choose from, they allow ballroom dancers (3 of them) to practice in their great room taking away from other workout options, they have no changing rooms in the locker rooms, its not the cleanest, the floors are gross in the locker rooms and bathrooms, the water fountains smell like stinky feet ALL the time, and the staff isnt as friendly.

Funny how the TVs in THIS la fitness location ONLY has CNN news, and the Fox news station is blank. Equality for everyone... except for things they dont like.

It is a good club. Not as clean as it should be. They need to do something about the foam in the hot tub.

Been a member of this location since it opened. The stuff is not friendly at all everyone its always mad or they look at you like you are bothering when you asks questions. When the sauna breaks they will take days to fix it.*****Security**** must be aware that if you workout early morning make sure that you put all your things away and lock you car, somebody got in my car and took my credit card, license and some personal items two days ago. LA Fitness its not responsible for anything that happens on the parking lot, I was informed by a member. Other than that enjoy your workout 😁

Gym is very nice and very clean but hate the fact that I have to pay so much for daycare when its hardly open. I have 3 kids so thats $30 extra every month. then its only open certain times and only once on sat and not even open on Sunday. If Im paying for it then why isnt it open all of the time just like the gym times? I shouldnt have to pay when I cant even go on the weekends... Thats when most people are off and their not open?? Plus the staff that they have are not very kid friendly. Sits at the computer on their phones the whole time, so remind me why Im paying so much? Love the gym but might need to go else where thats open more. And why does it close so early on the weekend! Today is Sunday and their closed at 8. Wish the gym was 24/7

Pretty nice gym. Ive been to a lot of the LA Fitness gyms in the bay area and this one comes the closest to the Dale Mabry gym in Tampa. Of course its not as large and doesnt have as many different types of machines/equipment, but still has all you need to workout.

This is a great gym actually. Staff is friendly and always welcoming. There are plenty of machines that are new and clean. This is one of the rare clubs that has basketball court in it too. Other then basketball court there is huge pool, jaccuzzi, cardio room. Overall great gym. I would wish it becomes 24/7 gym in near future.

My favorite bar fitness

I went today to cancel my membership, only to be told that the only person who could cancel my membership was on vacation, not sure when they would return. Oddly enough, anyone can signed me up but it takes a special person to cancel my membership? 20 minutes of a lady trying to get me to not cancel my membership, she finally gave me a form and said that I could mail it in but that they would still bill me for the next month. When I signed up, I paid two months and was told that when I cancel that I would not be billed again. What a scam. This place is like ballroom dancing. Stay away.

Not the best location, but I am happy with the facility overall.

On Friday I walked in to sign up for a membership, while I was waiting for help I watched an employee publicly embarrass a young woman because she was wanting to cancel a membership. I heard him say she wasn’t good enough for their club! I turned around and walked out. Nobody deserves to be treated like that. Bad customer service. I won’t be getting a membership here. I signed up at planet fitness instead.

LA Fitness have a good standard of equipment, like hammerStrength machines, great personal trainers like Bronson and an alright variety of strength training stations

Awesome gym hopefully they never get rid of the sauna and hot tub. Those amenities are some of the only in the area and the only way to enjoy those luxuries.

My key tag was stolen 2 months ago please cancel it my phone was shut off too and I have been working out at ymca I reported it to them I had there key tag stolen too and my anytime fitness tag was on there too I reported them all. Please take care of this ASAP I don’t want anyone using my name.

Pushy owner. Very rude when i wasnt able to make a appointment. Decided to make a comment like so is that how you do things you make a appointment and dont show up sorry but i do have a work life and regular life. I clearly said i was not interested and that i have my own ways of working out but she wouldnt stop bugging me on trying to make a sign up sale. Lady thats not how it works. Sorry. Lost future business from me.
