I had the BEST EXPERIENCE! Staff were very nice. The amazing woker who did my nails was very thoughtful and asked for my opinions. She made sure that I like the length, color, etc. She was overall very kind and explained pricing and helped me pick a better color suited for my skin tone. I am going back for sure :)

I had been going here for about a year or so but the service has fallen off considerably in recent months. I got my nails done Monday evening around 5 or 6. It’s less than 48 hours later and my nail polish is already starting to chip. I haven’t done anything with my hands but type and text. My heels also looked untouched when I left.The last few times I’ve been the manicurists have been sloppy, cut my nails crooked, not helped me with my chair or bags, tried to use metal tools to scrape off my gel polish (instead of waiting for it to soak off) etc etc.In short I don’t think the manicurists are bothering to pay attention to detail and while I am willing to pay more for convenience— I’m not paying more for bad service. It had a good run, though.

I have been with the same nail tech for 5 years. After she moved away, I had to find a new nail shop. I decided to try this place because it is located next door to my building. My nails started to chip after 4 days, and the pictures below were taken on day 7 of my OPI Gel-no chip manicure. When I went in to show them the outcome, they said I would have to use the exact same polish and they could only fix 3 of my nails. After I explained all of the nails were turning colors and I did not wish to use the same color that turned in the first place they told me it was all they could do for me. I opted to have them remove the polish and they declined to refund me my $40. This is the worst nail shop I have ever experienced.

This was the best nail experience Ive had in the longest time. If I lived in Chicago, Id only come here. Got a no chip mani-regular pedi combo. It was relaxing, professional, clean and I love the outcome. My no chip mani looks like I have fake nails on but with a polished, super natural, beautiful look. Thank you!

Very pretty atmosphere, they didn’t rush on my pedi ( they do where i stay — (out of town trip)) very peaceful.

Im really pleased with my nails (mani & pedi), I just wish my pamper pedicure lasted a little longer. I felt that it went by a little quicky for it being around 5pm. Otherwise it seemed clean and the staff was polite. Hopefully I can go back and feel the same if not better.

This place is terrible. I got a regular manicure here and I could have done it better myself. There are bubbles, rippling and the polish is cracking all within 1 day of getting it done. Do not waste your money here.

Awful, quickest pedicure ever, called back no answer

I have been here a few times and have had an ok experience until today. I made an appointment but didnt get to sit down until 20 minutes after the first tech told me that she didnt know how to do dip with tips. There seemed to be confusion and she came back and grabbed my hand and tried to start gluing on a nail without doing a manicure first. I eventually got my nails done with another tech and they turned out nice, but I probably wont go back.

It was great! I love getting my nails done by rose she is very sweet I hope I will go there another time soon!

This place is incredibly fast, and my nails look great! Also it is nice to see a fully staffed salon, keeping the customer wait under just a few minutes.

This location is convenient-- right near my work and Ive been going to them for about a year. The woman in charge of the place is pleasant and professional but her staff isnt. While they are fast and efficient, they arent very friendly and there is no personal connection with the customer. During my last visit, I asked for clarification on how much change I was supposed to get back for the tip and the woman screamed, I owe you $20 then she rolled her eyes at me and whispered to her co-worker. It was very rude and I was embarrassed-- not exactly the experience you want when youre going to get your nails done. The woman in charge just gave me an awkward smile then said have a nice day! Not cool. The customer is your business and they need to learn how to treat people better.

Very nice nail salon in the Loop, highly recommended! I had a pretty basic manicure, but they had a color I loved and Im pretty happy with how it looks now. Pretty average price, not a deal, but not too expensive.

I used to go to the Loop Nail Spa because it is so convenient if you work downtown. After moving away for awhile, Im back and am as happy as ever with their convenience and quality. I have had good luck with my nail techs in general, but Cindy in particular earns the 5 stars. She is meticulous and matter of fact in describing service options, and pricing. Transparent and not pushy -- the key to upselling. :)

When I went for an acrylic fill in and they started the process, when he goes to fill them in he tells me they only have gel not acrylic. I am allergic to something in gel so now my entire set that I just got filled yesterday is lifting from the top. So now they completely ruined my entire set and I have to get them removed and a whole new set put on! When I walked in and said I need an acrylic fill in the first thing they should have said was we only do gel! On top of ruining my nails I waited over 30 mins and the guy drilling my nails kept burning me. Don’t waste your time and money at this salon!!

I got a French manicure here at 5pm on a Friday. The lady painting my nails accidentally smeared the white line at the tip when putting the top coat on my pinky finger, audibly said oops! and continued on without fixing it! The quality of the paint job itself (aside from being smeared on one finger) was terrible. By noon the next afternoon the white tips had flaked off on 3 of the fingers. Absolutely horrible waste of money. Go anywhere else.

I will be getting my nails done by Vanessa every time I come to Loop Nails. She is the best and I have been going to her for years. Beautiful nail boutique with great decor, fun music videos to watch as you get your nails done and offer pedicures and waxing services as well. Friendly staff, but Vanessa is the best!

Tried to give this place a shot a few times and it’s never ended up with a good experience. They rush, do like 15 coats, and it always looks messy. The place does not keep clean, the no chip lights are always filthy. Would not recommend.

Love this place, I know its downtown and for those of us who work downtown but dont live downtown, its tough ti make it back down on a weekend. But, on a Saturday morning, this place is cheap and no wait!!! Good manicure too!

Ive been going to Loop Nail Spa for awhile and have always been pleased with the service until recently. At my last visit, my nails did not come out the way I asked and they still charged me for service. The very next day, my nails started to chip badly. I called to asked them to redo my nails and they insisted I pay AGAIN to have them redone. Making sure your customer is happy with service should top priority and it was not. If I pay $40 for a service that I can not remove myself, at home, I should be happy with it and if not, it should be fixed. Im sure the shop makes enough money to afford to fix a bad service on their behalf. I dont think thats too much to ask for? Im very disappointed and will not be coming back.

My first time visiting was today. I was on lunch and the service was excellent, fast friendly and I am completely satisfied. I never paid $28 for a fill in but it was worth it!!!

Low cost and high quality manicure in the Loop. Whoever purchases their polishes does a great job of bringing in the newest colors and styles. They had almost an entire row of sand polishes when I visited yesterday. This is a great place for speedy service. I think I was in and out in about 25 minutes. Ill definitely be going back again, hopefully for a full mani-pedi when I have the time.

Very pricey and they still rushed through my nails - not worth it.Edit 2021: I gave this place another try. While their customer service has improved, my dip manicure starting chipping the next day. My dip manicures usually last at least three weeks - I’ve never have one chip off before. I don’t think the nail tech really knew how to use the dip powder.

I have been coming to loop nail for years. I normally see Nemo, who is amazing! Today Tony helped me as Nemo was busy with a client. I asked him not to cut the corners of my big toe because in get ingrown toenails. He then proceeded to continue to do it. When I said something again he thru a fit and refused to continue the service. This was just as well since you should be able to ask for something not to be done to you. It was him standing in front of me talking about me to one of his co workers that was unacceptable. Very unprofessional. The nice lady at the front desk kept apologizing on his behalf.

Literally walked in with my daughter for a nail polish and for me a fill. The young one named Janice walked over to another tech and said very loudly, i dont fill like doing a fill my hands are tired. At that point i put my polish back. Very unprofessional. If it werent cold Id pick somewhere else to get my daughters nails done!

Honestly, I would give negative stars if it was possible. I just moved to Chicago not too long ago, as I was walking home a week or so ago I walked by this loop nails, which was very close to my condo. I always have pink and white acrylic nails on and I was needing them filled so I stopped in to see how this place was. First off, my nails looked awful when the lady was done, I had to pull my finger away from her multiple times because she was rushing so much that it was hurting my nails. I would have written this review last week, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because It was my first time there and I had only had my nails done by one lady there. UNTIL TODAY. It’s been a week since I had them done the first time and I have had 1 nail lifting so bad that I just had to take it off, and 4 others that were lifting so bad at the bottom my hair was getting caught in them. So I went in today, told them what was going on and showed them. The lady I was talking to said who did your nails and I told her I couldn’t remember her name, but she sat at station 5 and had glasses. She proceeded to ask me if I had my receipt and then inform me that she is the only one there that does pink and white nails and she didn’t do my nails last week, AS IF I WAS LYING ABOUT GETTING THEM DONE THERE. I said okay well I don’t know what to tell you because I sat right here at number 5 and had my nails done by someone other than yourself and as you can see they are pink and white. She continued to question me about getting them done there and finally said okay I fix your nails, but you have to pay for the thumb nail because you did that not us. The nail was lifting so bad I just took it off myself and she could see the other nails were lifting terribly too!!! There was literally no one in there getting there nails done at the time, she rushed through my nails, was hurting my fingers, and my nails look terrible!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!

Recently got a pedicure here as its on the way home from work. A week later, had my entire toenail fall off because of an infection. Went to the doctor and he asked if I had gotten a pedicure lately because of the type of bacteria and suggested I not go back to wherever I went because they clearly dont clean their tools well. Obviously Loop Nail Spa will NOT be getting any more of my service. Absolutely disgusting.

Today I printed a coupon from the Loop Nail Spas website. It was for a Pedi and Mani for $35. When I arrived to the spa, I showed the receptionist the coupon (from their website) that I printed. She told me that the prices had gone up, and she has to ask if the coupon could still be accepted. She went to the manager to ask about the coupon, they had a conversation about the situation in a different language (rude). The manager acted as if I wrote the coupon myself with a marker, she looked at it and looked at me. Their website was printed at the top of the page as well as the date. The should have accepted the coupon with no issue due to the fact that it was posted online. It is their responsibility to remove any offers that are invalid. In English, the receptionist said todays date and told the manager that it was printed today. By that time i was fed up, and I told them to forget it and i would take my business elsewhere. They acted as if I was attempting to con them. I wont beg anyone to spend my money in their establishment. That was the first time that I had been to Loop Nail Spa and I will never return! The Customer Service was awful! I walked to Sunrise Nails and Spa on Wells and Washington, unfortunately they did not have any coupons but the service was wonderful and my nails were beautiful! The experience was worth the extra money and I will be going Sunrise from now on.

So average go somewhere else they simply dont care

They only use those foam foot scrubs that you can buy from dollar tree. Dont bother paying the extra money for the loop pedicure because it isnt worth it.

Not good customer service at all, I had a problem and was treated like I was lying. I wont ever spend a dime in this place and I will inform all my coworkers to not go there also
