I just dropped in for a quick no chip manicure and regular pedicure. Immediately I was not impressed with the hospitality. Different salons in the suburbs are way more attentive to their guests. Coming here I definitely noticed a difference. Even though there was only one other guest in the salon I didn’t feel relaxed because of the lack of hospitality. However, my nails did come out looking like I wanted them to and I was happy with that. I just don’t think I will come back because the ambiance was not relaxing or welcoming like other salons are.

Im new here and definitely impressed with the quality of work here! Really great service and great prices! The shop has a great atmosphere. People are really friendly and welcoming! I am very pleased with the results of my manicure and pedicure. They really take their time for you. Will definitely be back!

Usually I LOVE elegant nails service but this morning was NOT IT.Went in a asked for a pedicure and manicure. Pedicure came out great. But when it came time to my hands, thats when things started going downhill.The nail technician suddenly seemed to be in a rush. She did not go through with the same routine on my left hand that she had previously did on my right hand. She also did not know how to evenly file my nails to be curved/oval on top. I had to ask more than once for her to refile a nail because the shape was off. She redid them. Cool. Saw that they werent all even but decided to let it go. She painted my nails and as I was drying them before heading out, I reviewed them. When I tell you, I was SICK to my stomach over how horrible they looked, I am not joking. There is still nail polish on the skin around my nails, the nail AIR BUBBLES (?!?!) in my thumb nail, the nail polish by my cuticles isnt even, so they look sloppy and short/stumpy, polish isnt as close to the cuticles as it should be, and multiple nails are not even entirely covered in the top coat. Could have saved myself the extra $25 for my hands and did them myself at home. So DISAPPOINTED. So not returning.

This is my favorite nails salon in the aera. Great attention to detail.They also have a reward system. We all know that every year we spend a large amount of money on self-care. So choosing a nail salon with a reward system will be an extremely wise choice. We will save a decent amount of money to do other things.Highly recommend!

Scheduled an appointment with Mia. Walked in 5min prior. Was greeted by several staff upon entering. Excellent communication, clean facility, ambiance is calm, lighting fixtures add to aesthetic. Hygiene was priority for this business, sterilizing machines were in customer area, customers/staff wore masks properly, sanitizer available throughout salon. Mia was not pushy at all with services, she was gentle with her instruments and thorough. Excellent quality for the price. Glad I took a chance on this location. Will go back.

I went in to get my acrylic nails filled in. I had a nice female nail technician that took me in, they were busy but I waited no more than 5 min. I described what it was that I was looking to get and she definitely delivered! I am so happy with how my nails turned out, just in time for Fall/Halloween. I called for an appointment and was seen a little over 30 minutes later. He was arguing with me on dip nails. I asked for glitter on two different fingers from the picture and he kept saying no. I called in advance for acrylic nails in dip powder and I was told $50. I wanted pink nails with two having a little glitter on them and he said itll be $70. So i took off the glitter and he said itll be $55. I dont understand the price difference. He did not give me the coffin shape but some were square. I asked about the crooked nails he would just say my finger is crooked. When I asked to fill in missing spots he would tell me to relax. He seemed very upset and rude when I was asking to fix some nails.

I came for a pedicure. MINIMAL product used. NO CUTICLE SOFTENER, nothing in the water, jut nothing. She scraped my feet DRY and did not put anything on them until she was ready to use a pumice. NEVER has anyone done that! I couldnt give a decent tip either. Extremely disappointed

Great service, friendly staff and the place is so cute inside. Also no chemical smell so I didnt get a headache after being there for only 1 hour. Definitely becoming a regular. Shelley was so fast and professional, she finished me and my friend in less than 1½ hours. Nails came out PERFECT.

First time going here and they did not disappoint!! Wasn’t busy when I walked in, so I was able to get a seat right away. Although, a crowd did eventually trickle in. If you want a quality manicure/pedicure in a nice place, this is where you need to be. Definitely made sure to tip the people who serviced me!

First and last time here. I paid $105 for a no chip pedicure and a reshape and polish change on my hands. I was charged $15 to put an overlay on my big toes and she literally put scrub and wiped off less then 10 seconds. Then my nails Ihe cut them down and polished them. Thats it. One hand was fine the other had fuzziness on my nails when I showed him of course he said he didnt see it. He wiped off and repainted them. I got marble design on 2 fingers on each hand which he said was $15 extra. Really. I paid over $50 bucks for my nails and didnt get either a set put on or fill it was a reshape and polish. Prices way too high. My normal place I pay that amount if I get a full set with design pedicure and tips included. Never ahain

I paid 40$ for a no chip color and 2 days later they turned black and chipped when the color is light pink I used no cleaners dyes or anything went back and the rude owner told me I had to pay full price again and I went there 2 days ago so I left very terrible service plz dont waste your money here my god

I just left the salon and i felt so rushed. So I just moved into the area and i wanted to find a new nail salon near me because i like to get my nails done every 3 weeks but this is not the place i will be coming to. I was getting my pedicure next to a girl that was getting the same thing and i was just observing that the girl next to me got a very nice lengthy message and as that is my favorite part my nail tech, i promise you only did 5 SECONDS on each foot and told me i was done. I was so shocked. The nail tech next to me took her time. I was going to get a full acrylic set but i decided to leave as my nail tech didn’t know the price and seemed to be frustrated I asked. Not a place i will be returning to even though it is down the street from me.

They were ok. When asked if they had nail colors for me to look at they told me to go to the back wall. Another lady walked in and they gave her a ring of colors. I had a design I wanted and she said it would be an extra $35 and that again I should go to the wall and pick the colors out. I said I have a picture. The guy who did my no chip manicure was rushing like his pants were on fire and he kept getting up to check on other things.

There was a younger nail tech with black hair spoke mostly English her desk was in the far back closest to the sink . ANYWAY she had the WORSE attitude ever and when I asked her to fix a crooked nail she glued on she snatched my hand rudely and yanked the nail off and literally rolled her eyes the whole time . If she wasn’t rude she would have gotten tipped for the amazing set she did . I come here frequently and love the way my mani pedis always look but her customer service makes me not want to come back !

It was my first time at this nail salon and I was 100% satisfied with the service I received. Not only was it clean and COVID safe, but I also presented them with a picture of what I wanted, and got exactly that. 10/10 would recommend and definitely making this my new regular spot

My pedicure was great however I dont know the name of the woman who did it. Everything else was horrible. The employees are extremely disorganized and rude. The color and shape for my manicure were not what I asked for and she rushed through my nails and my eyebrows. I spent 2 hours here even though the service itself took less than 45 minutes. I wouldnt come here even as a last resort multiple women were being treated poorly by the other employees as well.

Do not make an appointment because is useless. They will still make you wait and if you dnt pay attention they will skip you. Made me look rude but i had to tell them that i was skipped twice and i had an appointment.

The nails are all pretty good and they will go over the top to make sure you are satisfied with them, and the prices are reasonable too. I paid $50 for a full set with gel Polish, stones, and a small flower detail. The only things I noticed, that would make me give them the 5 stars, are that some of the staff seemed to be in a rush and there needs to be a bit more cleanliness during the process, like washing hands after being filed. At least, that was my experience with one staff person and observations. Hope this helps 😊

I went in on 1/02 for a full set french manicure, done by a gentleman, not the owner. Everything was good until the next day I noticed that the acrylic was chipping off by the cuticle area. This was for almost all the nails. I went in the next day and they asked me who did my nails and they sent me straight to him to fix it. I pretty much had to show him each one, as he only wanted to fix two of the very noticeable ones. I told him that if he doesnt fix them all then the others will be in the same condition as the bad ones.He did fix it but as of today they are chipping again. They didnt even last a week. I stopped coming here as the quality of the work was not consistent. I tried to give them another shot but after this set no more.

Elegant Nails is my absolute favorite nail salon! They all do such an amazing job at both manicures and pedicures. I get compliments on my nails all the time & I love telling people about this place because the service they provide is seriously the best in the area. I refuse to go anywhere else now! They are always very busy (which in my opinion reflects how good they are at their job). So, although they do their best to accommodate walk-ins, I do recommend calling ahead! Just to be safe. :)

I went here for an appointment for my very first manicure and pedicure with my mom and sister. We tried giving them a chance because they were super busy but I ended up leaving without even getting anything done because the staff was extremely rude to us and we’re just yelled at to pick a nail color only to be told after 30 mins of waiting and standing around, that the colors we picked were not gel and dipping powder colors. They were rude, unprofessional, unorganized, they were not respecting the appointments and there was no direction what so ever. We were only asked what we were going to get done an hour after our appointment started. We were confused and lost and none of the staff members bothered to help us even though many of them passed us. I highly not recommend this place. Super rude and unorganized. I wish I could give them a 0 rating because they made us feel that uncomfortable.

Great nails salon with a cute spa chair for kid. My daughter love it here, they are so nice and patient with kids. I went to other salons in the area with her before and they were rudely especially when the kid accidentally ruined their nails. Not here... I visited this nail salon for the second time. First time I got a full set of acrylic nails and a pedicure it was around 85... I went in for a fill in last night which is usually 22.. One nail was replaced and also I got a design on two nails.. I was charged 50 for them. When I asked why so much I was told it’s a no chip whatever .... I’m I’m sorry but did I ask for that? I feel it’s not right not to ask the customer prior to service what you will provide and the prices. What if I didn’t have enough money? The worst part was they were closed as it was around 8 when my service finished. And he offered to take of my polish and reapply what was cheaper but couldn’t offer a discount for the service I didn’t ask for... it’s not about the money but the service was mediocre and not done properly. I came from a different nail salon and wish I waited until the next day instead of coming here. The other place was packed .. and they were pretty much empty. I’m not sure the great reviews. They are expensive and not honest about the service they provide and then charge you heavily for their mistakes.I’m so disappointed and have attached pictures of my $50 fill in ... if it’s possible.The nails are not painted properly and the sizes are quite different. I would never go nor recommend.

I absolutely LOVE this pace. Not only are my nails absolutely perfect every time, (Im OCD), everyone here is so sweet and engage in conversation unlike many other nail salons. The owners are always there and greet you with a hello and a thank you, goodbye. Genuine people doing fabulous work. And the place is very clean! They also just got all new pedi-chairs and manicure tables and chairs. They definitely keep up the place.

The pedi was okay. Nothing special. Felt very much like the lady was just going through the motions. Maye because it was the end of the end of the day and she was ready to go. I asked for a maniand full acrylic set. My cuticles were never even touched. A quick rough up of my nails and then the tips were glued on. The nails look like a beginner did them. They look like they already need a fill in. Make sure your appt is earlier in the day so things arent rushed.

Beautiful salon! All of the staff was very polite and accommodating, including the owner herself! I truly felt like a queen. My nail tech is a wonderful technician. She explained everything she was doing, products she was using, and why they were beneficial to me compared to what standard salons use. I apologize in advance for the long review..After reading all of the great things people had to say about this place, I was really excited to try it out as I live close by and my old favorite place is near Wicker Park...what a trek! Bleh.I came for a mani/pedi.The Pros:-I was greeted with a smile and taken to a spa chair immediately upon arrival without an appointment.-The space itself seemed very clean.-Most of the tools used for my pedicure were in a clean individual pack.-There was a pretty extensive choice of colors...if you can’t find something you like I’d be surprised.-The paint job of my no-chip manicure did turn out very nice.-They have a rewards system where for every $1 you spend you get 1 point. 100 points = $5-If you do a mano/pedi combo you get $5 off.The Cons:Nail color: I don’t want to say the nail tech argued with me about the color I chose, but she really insisted I pick a different one. I wanted a beige neutral that was almost white, and she kept insisting that it would get dirty quickly and that I needed a prettier color for summer. I normally paint my nails pinks/reds and needed a break from those—and also something professional for work. After a lot of back and forth I chose a different color...it’s nice but still not what I wanted.End Pedicure result: The paint on my toe nails was sub-par.. I could have painted them better myself at home.The Manicure:Nail length and shape—I work both with patients and lots of tools and machines. If my nails are long they will break, scratch, or snag on people or things so I always need them as short as possible. I told the nail tech I needed them as short as possible and that I wanted them to be rounded (also so that the square corners don’t scratch patients I work with), and she said they looked better long and she would just file them a little. I had to tell her multiple times I needed them shorter, and just felt like I wasn’t being listened to. The ‘compromise’ (if you can call it that) was that my nails were squared to be shorter instead of rounded.. they do look nice, but out of principle it is not what I asked for or wanted, even after asking multiple times. Very frustrating.THE BLOOD: While cutting my cuticles down, they were cut too far and started bleeding. Accidents happen, so this in itself wasn’t a huge deal to me... What WAS a huge deal to me was that as my cuticles would not stop bleeding, the nail tech took the brush used to wipe off access polish from your fingers, dipped it in the polish removed, wiped my blood off, AND THEN DIPPED THE BRUSH BACK INTO THE COMMUNAL POLISH REMOVER. All the sanitization I was happy about in my pedicure went out the window. I was so grossed out.Overall Manicure result: The nail length and shape is not what I wanted. The color was nicely painted, but is also not the color I originally wanted so while they definitely look nice I’m still really bummed and grossed out.I wish my experience was as great as other reviewers.. I saw other ladies leaving happy thanking a woman named Mary—who has very good reviews in this review section. If I ever went back I would try to schedule an appointment with her, but honestly after my experience today I’ll continue to make the trek back to wicker park instead. ☹️

Friendly and well done service. Ive been around the block looking for a good nail salon and I finally found it! The staff are all very friendly and actually try to engage you in an ongoing conversation instead of speaking among themselves. They dont cut corners and they have all been doing this for a long time. Very pleased with my visit today.

My husband and I got the $55 pedicures. No design. I was told $120, they charged $140 to my card. Cut my cuticle on two toes. Used candle wax on my legs and I had to come home and wash it off. Highly disappointed

Don’t book for Friday at 1pm! We booked three dip manicures with regular pedicures at 1pm and the third person in my party didn’t get her pedicure started until 2:20pm. Another elderly woman has been waiting for pedicure service since 1pm and they have yet to get started on her and ignored her for a walk-in. We’ll probably be stuck here until 3pm. EDIT: we didn’t get out of here until 3:40pm

I came to this place for the first time today and already feel impressed about it. The lounge looks nice, the employees are nice and friendly which makes me feel more comfortable . They have varied colors and its pretty easy for you to choose. You can ask for their recommendations when its kinda hard for you to choose the colors fit your nails which I did and never disappointed. It turned out cute colors which I really love. The supplies are good qualities and it makes me feel like they treat my nails like a queen. Specially, dont forget to make an appointment before you came! The ladies here are very busy but they never forget to treat customers well so dont worry. Surely Im gonna be back soon in a few days! Cant wait!

They seemed busy but were able to take us in. They were very efficient and friendly. For the service, it is affordable. There are lots of color selections and they do just about everything (gel, powder, acrylic, etc). I normally get clear gel with white tips and the girl that did my nails did a fantastic job.💖

Best nail salon in the city. Ive tried many other places and I havent received the kind of service and quality that Elegant Nails provides. They are most definitely my regular salon. Everyone is so kind, they pay attention to detail and will correct any mistakes. The salon is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Go experience it for yourself. Oh, and did I mention that they dont push upgrades or try to SELL you on anything. Its simple, to the point, and excellent quality.

The people here are amazing. I got my nails done early yesterday evening at another place and I ended up hating them. The owner and the girls made time for me even though it was busy and I didnt have an appointment to help me get my nails fixed. She did an absolute great job fixing my nails to give me what I wanted. The atmosphere and the staff here are great.

I went there on 7/3 to get no chip Mami and deluxe pedi. Ended up with okay looking nails but weak. I have always alternated between no chip, dip and gel in the past. So I was surprised that my nails were this weak and I asked my technician why she kept using the grinder too much to the point it started to burn. She said it was normal and I guess I thought no beauty comes with no pain right. One day passes and my nail breaks on the side. I called and they told me that they will fix it. I go there two days after due to work issues. I get my nails fixed and they make it a point to tell me I was wrong. I of course had a response to all thier jabs. As soon as I get home, thier overlay/dip cracks again in the same spot as before. Theyre just using cheap products, claiming that its the persons fault that the nail breaks. Never going to this shady over priced salon again. Ill take my business to DLuxe Nails where they actually back up their products and last the time they say they do.

Just moved in the neighborhood and tried one other nail salon that didnt satisfy my needs. But when I went to Elegant nails I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was inside and the service was top notch. Ive found a new home at Elegant nails. I am so glad that came to this salon today... I had tried all other salons in the neighborhood and by far they’re the best!! I had the dipping powder done over my real nails and I am sooo pleased with the way my nails looks afterwards... beautiful, very clean place... friendly staff, can’t ask for more... thank you Elegant Nails
