I’ve visited this vet twice for my puppy’s physical check up and vaccinations. The staff is very friendly and professional. I definitely recommend. I signed up for my first appointment online. I originally considered going to a different vet (friend recommendation) but they wouldn’t accept new patients. I’m not sure if GoodVets have a patient limit, but they seem to be very open and accepting.

My 9 month old kitten had not been eating properly for a month so I decided to give GoodVets a try after reading some reviews. As a first time client the appointment booking was very easy and seamless with lots of available options. The front desk and veterinarian are super nice and welcoming. They gave great advice and did not push for any unnecessary procedures that did not need to be done unlike other places. After giving my kitten the prescribed diet for about a week she is now back to her old self screaming for food and scarfing everything down so I am extremely happy about this place and will definitely be my number vet in Chicago.

After months of trial and error of finding a primary vet for my 7 month old pup, we definitely found it here. Dr.B was the absolute sweetest to my dog! She literally greeted him as if she would greet her own dogs. Unlike other vets I’ve been to, you know, where they usually try to get your dog on a examine table or come in wanting to take your dog alone for examination - this place is the exact opposite! Dr.B noticed my pup was very hyper and anxious so instead of making him feel even more nervous, she got down on the floor to him so he felt welcomed and comfortable. She didn’t try to force anything on him and even allowed me to take off the leash so he can be free in the room. This definitely helped my pup as he did calm down and made him feel like he was just meeting a new person rather than at a doctors office. As a first time pet parent, this place is everything you’re looking for. Every question I had was answered. Any concerns I voiced was addressed and redirected in a positive way. From start to finish, taking my pup to GoodVets was a wonderful experience! Dr.B was absolutely great and thank you so much for getting my pup back on a normal routine and diet. I’m looking forward to seeing the results in his health! I am glad to say Kobe definitely found his new primary vet! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

Great vet experience! They gave us a room right away. Almost no wait time between arriving, seeing the nurse, and seeing the vet. The nurse distracted our puppy with some frozen peanut butter while the vet examined him. Very friendly nurse and vet as well.Best of all, they let you come in with the dog, which was an important factor for us. I would highly recommend.

As a first time pet owner (of two kittens!) everyone made me feel at ease and were great with Maeve and Milo. They didnt rush me and answered all my questions. The bedside manner for the kittens and sending me home with what I needed to treat my cats was great!

We brought our pup to GoodVets for two physicals thus far and to treat kennel cough. They have been great. When we were fearful after our dog was showing signs of coughing and heavy breathing (we didnt know it was kennel cough at the time, we just knew something was wrong) and we needed a appt on short notice, they were able to get us a appt within a day and a half. Staff is very attentive and caring. They also take the time to fully explain any treatments/recommendations to you. Will definitely be going back here.

Dr Beauchamp was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient at our puppys first appointment. All very pleasant! Appreciated the efficiency of the appointment and we were allowed to stay in the room while paperwork was being completed - perhaps not necessary but, that way there were no other animals to tempt my puppy.

Our first visit to Goodvets was great. The practice itself was very sanitary and clean and front desk Claudia was so nice and helpful. It was clear the tech didn’t review my dogs records prior to our visit but I looked past this. Dr. B was nice and took her time. Unfortunately we will be choosing a new practice as my senior dog has multiple things going on with him at this stage in his life and the communication and experience we have received in the last two months of being clients is not satisfactory. This practice is okay for my 1.5 year old pup who just needs vaccines and a general check up but I’m not confident with their ability to see all the details my senior dog needs for his care. They are often very behind and appear to be under staffed. This happens but it makes it not a good fit for my senior dog or dogs with my complexities.

First time dog owner and I really enjoyed everything about Goodvets West Loop. Before getting my puppy I called the staff and they were able to help me and answer all different questions about my dog, which was so helpful. When it came time to our first visit, upon entry, I was greeted with a very warm welcome. Dr. D and her nurse were so nice and able to sit with me for as long as I need to answer all my questions about my new puppy. My puppy felt very comfortable being with them and they treated him like he was their own pet. The facility is extremely clean and does not smell like a vet. I would highly recommend going here.

In the past, Ive had great experiences with previous vets and support staff at GoodVets West Loop. However, recently, I was given the runaround while trying to get a specialty prescription called in and filled for my senior rescue dog. I had a TeleVet visit with Dr. Beauchamp to get special eye drops for my dog. I told her that I normally get it from an ophtho vet but they couldnt refill it until the first available appt in 2 months, and that they asked that I get it from my general vet in the meantime. I also told her that Ive had to get it compounded specially multiple times because regular pharmacies usually dont have this medication. Because she thought my Walgreens might have it, I specifically asked her to check that they had it there and to let me know when it was called in. I did not hear from her again that day. In fact, I had to call GoodVets and two different pharmacies numerous times over the next couple days to try to track down this prescription. I called Walgreens and Braun Pharmacy myself multiple times looking for this prescription only to find out directly from the pharmacies (and not from GoodVets) that they not only have nothing under my dogs or my name, but they also dont even make EDTA eye drops. I ended up being the one doing all the legwork for Dr. Beauchamp and GoodVets after paying $60 for a 6-minute TeleVet phone call. When I pointed this out, Dr. Beauchamp told me Youre a human doctor right? So you know what its like- you call and leave a voicemail for the pharmacy and then they call you later if theres a problem. This, in a nutshell, is why I will not be going back to this vet. As a human doctor, I know that caring for patients isnt a 9-to-5 job that can be phoned in; it sometimes takes an extra step or time (i.e. talking directly to a pharmacy tech to make sure they have/make the special medication) to provide the proper care. After this last interaction with Dr. Beauchamp, I have come to the realization that she may not take those extra steps for my dog, who is at the end of her life and needs someone who will advocate for her well-being.

I had a very positive experience at GoodVets! Being new to the area, I wasnt sure what to expect, but I feel like everyone I interacted with was very helpful, and went out of their way to answer questions and make my dog feel comfortable. The customer service was unmatched, and the environment was great too. I also feel like prices were fair for services. I have already recommended to friends in the area and am really glad I found this place!

All staff was friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and willing to help. They were gentle and kind to my dog, Bilbo. I was impressed by how calm he seemed during the whole interaction which is rare for him at the vet, so thats how I know this is a good place. The level of professionalism mixed with friendliness is a breath of fresh air when visiting a vet. I signed up for their GoodPets+ Wellness Package and look forward to seeing what the next year brings in our partnership. (:

I cant say enough about the wonderful service GoodVets gives to my pup, Ollie. Not only does he pull to get to the vet whenever we are close by and love being there but the personal service Dr. Beauchamp gives is so appreciated. From calls to see how Ollie is doing post sick visit to suggesting his wellness visits in a certain order to help save a few dollars, the honesty and care for our bud an our family is above and beyond.

GoodVets West Loop is amazing! Our sweet senior dog had so many medical complications arise after we adopted him. After going to another vet (which we didnt love), our friend referred us to GoodVets West Loop. Dr. B and the entire team genuinely cared and listened to all of our concerns. They went above and beyond to take care of our lil man, Lobstah. We were so grateful for their guidance, professionalism, and care during his short battle with cancer. The facility is VERY clean and nice, too!

I really love the vet and the location but the consistent 20-30 mins late that they run behind is infuriating. As if my time is not valuable. If they correct this problem and schedule better I would highly recommend.

Wish I could give GoodVets 10 stars! Dr. B treats my dogs and cat like her own and truly cares about their well-being and health. They have great communication, their technicians and support staff are well-informed, and the facility is modern and clean. I thought I was in the wrong place when I first walked in because it looks and feels much more professional than some of the other vet hospitals I have been in.Im also a huge fan of how Dr. B recommends treatments. She will tell you the gold standard treatment and associated price and then an alternative treatment that would still help my pets but is more budget friendly. She will also explain the differences between the two and assist you in your decision-making about the risk vs. reward between the two treatments. Such as if taking the budget-friendly approach could significantly hurt the recovery percentages or if their is no significant percentage change in the recovery outcome between the gold standard approach and the budget-friendly approach. This method of communication and treatment recommendation makes me feel that Im not being squeezed for every penny I have, that the interest of my pet AND myself are being considered, and that Im not being judged for whatever decision I make.Highly recommend!

The vet and staff were very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, they even played with him after his visit you can tell everyone there really loves dogs which i think is amazing! These guys are amazing! I have had a great experience every time I go in and you can really tell all the employees there truly love animals. The vets are great about working with any limitations you might have financially or otherwise. I had a scary experience with my new pup and they talked me through what to do on the phone and even saw her last minute when we decided to come in. I cant recommend this place enough. :)

Wait time in the exam room was much longer than expected and planned for, but the doctors and vet techs we saw were great. We really liked the HydraCare samples that the vet gave us, Mowgli loves them! We really appreciated the vets recommendations for Mowglis long term health and wellness.

I had a very sick kitty, I wanted a second opinion and good vets was able to get my and my cat in quickly that day. They were very informative, compassionate and took time to explain things. They sent me home with medication to keep my little guy comfortable and told me to reach out if I needed anything. The outcome was as expected and my little one is now a kitty angel but everyone at good vets was very comforting. you were able to get us an appointment that day after you heard how sick my little guy was, you took the time with us to explain things and take care of my little guy. I did not feel rushed or out of the loop.

I recently had Dr. Beauchamp for end of life care for my senior border collie and I cant express enough gratitude for how she treated us. She went above and beyond and even communicated with me several times when GoodVets was not even open to make sure we were ok. I typically do not post or review on social media but I felt that I need to based on a recent and the only 1 star review from Mary R. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but when a comment is so out of touch with reality I felt the need to say something. Dr. Beauchamp and veterinarians in general put in a significant amount of work and regularly work outside of business hours to ensure the care of their clients while not getting the same recognition or compensation as human doctors. So when a human doctor makes a 1 star review for a veterinarian because she had to make a few extra phone calls due to communication delays with several third parties (pharmacy companies, not GoodVets) and questions the commitment of that veterinarian, clearly the real problem is the pet owner. You have a responsibility to care for your own pet, especially when it is towards the end of life, and part of that responsibility is doing some of the leg work, as I did with my senior pet. I own a small business so I know the importance of Google reviews and I know Dr. Beauchamp and several other veterinarians who go above and beyond and get little recognition from society as a whole. I hope Mary R. takes a look in the mirror and thinks about her post and the impact it has.Anyways, rant over. Dr. Beauchamp and GoodVets is great. They helped me with my senior pet and when I am ready to move on and get another companion Ill make sure to bring them back to her for their veterinary care.

I love this veterinary hospital. I have had pets my whole life and never received such thorough care. Deanna is kind and compassionate. Dr. B is very informative and you can tell that she has passion for the work. The prices are great for the area we are in and no one has ever taken such great care of my Bella. Three starts Because, I felt I was vastly overcharged for a mediocre service and left a bad review. I am now editing that review because management reached out and apologized and corrected the pricing concern. It was nice of management to address a real concern and change policy moving forward. At least they are people rather than a big chain where a negative experience goes unnoticed.

They take the time to treat each pet they see as an individual. They are always on the floor and giving my dog treats when he is consistently nervous at the vet and taking time to go though every issue i have when i come in. Ive had urgent issues where they try to work my dog in when its time sensitive. The only downfall as always in the West Loop is the cost however, if you can afford it you get what you pay for.

I havent recommended Good Vets yet, however I would if I was talking to a friend with a dog. The vet was friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. Staff was great!

The staff and the doctor at the GoodVets West Loop were amazing, especially during this time of COVID-19 situation. They were very caring of our pets situation and was able to assist very quickly and properly. I am a person who is skeptical when it comes to vet places, but this place is legit and wonderful! I am greatly pleased with how everything was handled, the communication in-between, checking on how my dog was doing and now my dogs eye is getting MUCH better! Thank you so much! Trust in the nurses and doctors and also not being over-charged for services provided.

We absolutely love GoodVets! Our Dachshund, Cali, has a home away from home there whenever we need to board her as well as knowledgable and expert veterinary care. We have extra peace of mind while we are away knowing that she is being taken care of by people who truly know her. They are also excellent with correspondence and letting us know what is going on. We have been able to schedule veterinary care very quickly when needed, and last month we got an appointment within the hour at 4:00pm on a Friday when Cali started limping. Being a dachshund, we were of course worried about her back, and Dr. Beauchamp gave Cali a thorough exam and us full reassurance. We trust our dog’s health to GoodVets!

This place is very modern and clean inside. However they never answer their phone during their operational hours. I took my pup there for a regular checkup, the staff was friendly and quick.- only downside on the dog end is that it is very expensive. I tried taking my cat a couple times and they basically denied him twice cause they don’t really take cats. Overall a good experience with my pup however they need to take cats and have knowledge about treating them. We no longer use them since it doesn’t make sense to have a different vet for each pet.

Dr. Beauchamp and the staff are so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It is very comforting to know that our dog Frank is in good hands with them.

Felt so welcome the moment we stepped in. Was looking for a vet that would take care of my boxer and get to know her. The last vet we were going to in the West Loop felt like a turn and burn and I was worried my pet wasnt getting the right care and attention she needed. Dr. Chen and staff were amazing, answered all my questions, and got Annabelle feeling better right away. I was thrilled when she followed up to see if Annabelle was doing well and if there was anything else they could do! The daycare is a great perk. Glad this place opened up so close to home!

FOUR OTHER VETS had misdiagnosed my dog/ went without diagnosing her with pancreatitis for several years. Other vets couldnt figure out what was wrong with her, and immediately blamed it on paracites which wasnt the case.GOODVETS IMMEDIATELY knew what was wrong with her, and diagnosed her with chronic pancreatitis. She is a completely different dog now, they saved her life. She is full of energy. I cannot recommend this place enough. They care so much about your pet. My dog is actually happy to go there, which has never been the case for a vet before. If I could give 6 stars I would! They become part of our family practically.

Dr. Remnes is the best. I’ve boarded my dog here several times and they take such good care of him. The daily “pupdates” with pictures they send are always the highlight of my day when I travel.
