What we are looking for from a Vet is educated (specifically with Greyhounds), location and easy accessibility, as well as cost. We were recommended to Lincoln Park Dog and Cat Clinic from a Greyhound group we are in. They are a 5-10min walk from our house and the cost is on par with our expectations. Most importantly, both Dr. Ferraro and Dr. Post were very kind and patient with our girl, and in conversations they displayed solid competence in regards to Greyhounds. We thank you for your services and look forward to working with Lincoln Park Dog and Cat Clinic going forward!

The clinic has served my family for over 13 years. They are always kind and compassionate to me AND to my cats Leo and Lovely. Dr. Ferraro and Dr. Post were great with follow up calls and attentive all the way around. The rest of the staff is wonderful, too. Barbara at the front desk went above and beyond to take care of me when we had to say goodbye to Leo. Thanks, all!

Met with Dr. Post today and had a great experience. I scheduled the check-up meeting to start care with a dog I recently adopted. She was great about explaining the reasoning for everything she was doing and making my dog comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed meeting with her and my dog did as well. Overall, Im very pleased with the service and price of everything we did today. I will definitely be recommending her to my friends in the future.

Excellent care. Dr Post spent extra time to explain every step of the visit and how I can best care for my cat. It was affordable too. I’m very happy with the clinic and will be returning.

Everyone there is amazing. Dr. Post and the rest of the staff have been nothing less than kind, informative, and caring. When we walk in the door they know we are and they are calming and reassuring. I have been taking my dog, Sweet Pea there since she was 7 weeks old and extremely anxious. She’s now just a bubbly, 14 year old. I owe a lot of that to them and their attentive and wise attention they have given her throughout the years. Sweet Pea and I give this place 2 paws up and 5 stars!!!! -Mandy LaneThank you! Thank you! Thank you! 🙋🏼❤️🐶🙏

The team at Lincoln Park Dog & Cat Clinic is great, and I would highly recommend to all vet owners. I recently moved to Chicago and took my dog in for an appointment at the clinic because it was just down the street. Im so glad I started coming here and will continue to return for my dogs annual visits and any other needs. The team is thorough with their jobs and organization of information, and the customer service is great. I received an email reminder when my dog was due for vaccinations, so I knew to call and schedule an appointment! Great place

We have been going to Dr. Sue and Dr. Post for over twenty years and even with a move to the surburbs we have always stayed w Lincoln Park Dog & Cat Clinic! The drive is long and 290 is a pain!! But when you have great caring doctors who are super knowledgeable why would we change? The long drive is worth it and my babies are healthy and happy bcuz of these doctors. Also the staff is great as well! Barbara always answers the phone with kindness and she takes care of business. Jaime and Monica are true animal lovers and they take care of our babies with love. Overall, when you find the Best you stay!🙌🏻😄👍🏻

Personalized Veterinary Medicine at its Best! Our cats have been seeing Dr. Margaret Post for 5 years. Recently one has fallen ill and every step of the way through ruling out diagnoses, to the emergency room visit and hospital stay to the follow-up afterwards, Dr. Post, Barbara and crew at Lincoln Park Dog and Cat Clinic have answered EVERY question my husband and I have asked, tailoring our kittys care specifically to his and our needs. This clinic believes in having the owner present for exams and procedures and as a nurse, I am so grateful to be able to comfort my pet when he is stressed out and be reassured as to what is being done and why. Dr. Post has literally spent close to 2 hours on the phone with me over the last 2 months and personally trained me on how to give my kitty a subcutaneous injection. This personal touch is how they take care of all of their patients. I cannot express how grateful we are for the care both of our cats have received and that hopefully we have many healthy and comfortable years ahead of both of our 14 year-olds.

We took our cat here a few years ago because he was acting a little weird and we were concerned something was going on. After an X-Ray they had told us that there was water accumulated around his heart. They said that it wasnt good but what they could do was drain the fluid around his heart to relieve the pressure. After looking at the X-Rays it seemed the logical thing to do to help him. We took our precious beautiful Fishie home that night thinking that we helped him. We got home, ordered delivery and thought that everything was ok. Then all of the sudden Fishie started gagging and peeing uncontrollably all over himself and on the floor as he struggled from room to room as we followed him around talking to him and trying to comfort him. My baby died right in front of me, in my bedroom on the floor as I laid with him crying. We hurried and took him to the 24 hour emergency veterinary clinic on Elston (these guys are great by the way) and after examining our cat and looking at the X-Rays we provided the doctor said that our loved one had an enlarged heart and not water around the heart. So what they did was puncture our babies heart and killed him due to gross negligence and lack of experience. I will never forgive you for this. I was so heart broken I literally called off work for a week. He meant so much to me and my wife and was the most purist innocent of beings in this messed up world. I couldnt even go back to get my money back is how bad this hurt. This was the worst incompetent experience Ive ever had in my 41 years of having dogs and cats. I do not recommend these people and I will never forgive you for taking my Fishie away. The emergency clinic on Elston called the hospital the next day and told them what they had done. They called and left a message apologizing. They didnt even have the courtesy to say hey, were sending your money back, not that its about the money. But you would think as a human being you would automatically do that. Im finally over it now but losing him changed my life. You have no idea how special of a creature he was, He was so kind and gentle and just loved to play. We called it carpet love. He would drag himself around the carpet while we tapped his butt and petted him. Im crying right now writing this. I miss you so much.
