Reached out to Gadget Garage today (Jay) to fix a debilitating keyboard issue on my laptop (a key was being phantom pressed almost non-stop). He checked it out within a couple hours of me bringing the computer in and said the quick fix wouldnt work and it would need a parts replacement. Its an 8 year old computer so I knew I might just end up replacing the computer so I said I would just do that. He didnt charge me anything and gave me some really helpful advice on where to go for a new computer and what to look for. He was patient, non-pushy, and just easy to work with throughout the entire process. Thanks for your kind help, Jay!

Jay replaced the back glass on my iPhone 12 Pro Max for a very reasonable price. I tried at least a dozen other repair shops before finding Gadget Garage and nobody else could do it. Apple wanted $600 for reasons unknown. The phone looks good as new and I’ll definitely be back next time I need a repair.

I got my phone back 30 minutes ago and I have already told 7 friends about how great this place was! My screen cracked to the point that I thought it was a goner. Jay looked at it and assured me it would be perfectly fine once the screen is replaced. It took an hour and just $130 (tax included) to fix it for an iPhone XR. Jay was extremely kind and friendly. I just got the quickest and most inexpensive service in the city of Chicago *when it comes to iPhone repair for a XS Max* and I’m super satisfied. Jay is really one of a kind. I have gone to him for every obscure electronics problem I can name, and broken iPhone screens are only the start of it! He does great work, at a fraction of what you will pay at Apples Genius Bar. And he will do repairs that they wont (because Apple wants you to buy a replacement), such as replacing the camera lens. I strongly recommend him! Ive also had the unfortunate opportunity to take advantage of his warranty with a cracked screen -- my daughter couldnt be tougher on her electronics! Hes great!

Friendly and quick service. I attempted to change a battery on my own but realized it was more difficult than I was expecting. I called him up and he told me to come on by. Within 20 minutes he had the battery changed out. The service couldnt have been better.

Never have I had a more pleasant experience trying to fix my phone than this one. From the initial phone call to visiting the store. My problem didnt even take more than 5 minutes, and as someone whos dependent on their phone for work I was fearful of being without one for too long, BUT he even offered me a loaner just in case! Jay ROCKS
