At the Universal Tech Solutions Syed fixed my computer the same day, he figured out what the issue was right the way and I was very happy with the great service provided.

People dont go this place! I brought my laptot witch was not responding to anything after 3 days he said is ready, when was about to pick it up I mentioned the problem is still in place and didnt dissapear. They said we will fix it, next day he called me that my computer needs a password witch i have never heard about, in the end after days of keeping my computer he installed an additional Hard Disc and told me that is going to run like new. Now my computer is slower than it was before and I can hear a sound coming from inside. Dont do deal with these unprofessional people.

I took my computer to get repaired and he installed a defective keyboard so I had to wait for the owner to fix his error. My mic wasnt working so I went back to him AGAIN because it was working fine before I brought it in. He said it was a software error and would not fix it because I took it back weeks later. Turns out he installed the mic wrong. My OWN brother fixed the issue for me. Do not go here!! Not worth the money and did not do a good job.

Universal Tech is the best geek shop in Chicago. Hands down. I discovered them 4 years back when my wife’s laptop fell down and broke. They fixed it at very reasonable price. When my son’s yoga Lenovo broke the hinges, nearby repair shops quoted prices that made buying a new one cheaper option! I didn’t hesitate to drive an hour in traffic to Devon because I was sure Syed will fix it. Boy he did. He patiently worked the broken area and got the hinges to work again. He also put a new fan while he was at it. At unbeatable price. These guys are the best geeks in Chicago.

I don’t know it was the geeks at Best Buy or the factory tech but when my friend here opened the case of my 17” Asus laptop there was a dent along the edge! He used a guitar pick. This guy doesn’t do stuff like that! You don’t have to cough up $2-300 for a maintenance plan or whatever. There’s no commission, no nothing like that. He just does a straightforward, down to earth job in a very timely fashion, not days or weeks almost always same day at a very fair price. I remain quite impressed. I don’t have to pay for a 20 foot ceiling or some other overhead costs. I think you should come here! A business like this should last forever.He’s the best, the cat’s pajamas!! My MacAir turned off by itself & I wasnt able to turn it on again. I called the apple support and after explanation I was told my 2015 Mac is too old to be fixed & it would cost me $700 to change the motherboard if I take it to other places. I took my laptop to this place & Syed could diagnosed what the problem was. Instead of changing the whole motherboard he changed the part that wasnt working (Heatsink). Finally my laptop started working again that saved me so much money. Syed is a very responsible person & he didnt give up until I was satisfied. He is very fair on charging customers & gave me discount because Im a student. I would definitely recommend this place.

I had laptop which was slowing down and it contained data which was very important to me. I was afraid that I will lose my data if I get it repaired. I called Best Buy and they were pricy.I chose Universal Tech Solution which has been a computer store for many years in my neighborhood. I dropped off my computer and it was fixed the next day.
