Super cheap! Super cheap! They featured straight razor liner, massage, shampoo, and a super-detailed one. It was a cut of good quality. I love it so much! Id recommend this spot to anyone, because I knew there were a lot of people looking at this fantastic barbershop. The nice news is that the staff members are polite and welcoming.

So, I grew a beard for the first time and I wanted trimmed along with my hair before my trip to Italy for my brothers wedding.Reserving a spot was easy but the gentleman that took care of me it seemed he was doing so without any enthusiasm resulting in a sub par job expecially on the beard part

Bo was courteous, safe, and easy to talk to. I’ve been to many barbers in the wicker park and humboldt park areas over the past ten years, and I would rate the cut and the service I received here as among the best. It is also very reasonably priced.

I’ve been seeing Bo for quite a few years now. He’s a master with clippers. When I moved away from the neighborhood, I tried a couple other places closer to me. I quickly realized it was worth the trip and went back to Chicago Barbershop. Luckily Bo took me back with open arms.

Ive been going here for almost two years and always enjoy my experience. The barbers are always pleasant and as talkative as you want them to be. If you explain what you want, you wont be disappointed in whoever cuts your hair. To schedule an appointment simply call a few days in advance. They mostly cut mens hair but Ive rarely seen a kid in there. Warning though that you have to pay in cash (there is an atm across the street).

Gentleman. This is a Gentlemans barbershop.From my first visit I noticed all 4 chairs booked by appointment. I called in at opening time (10am) and was offered slots at 11,11:30, or noon. So getting in right away was: as or more handy than showing up and walking-in and I didnt have to wait to get in.The beard trim was done expertly with little input from me and though buzzing my skull to the skin seems simple, my guy did a good job at that. Ive been underwhelmed by others in town so its not that Im just easily pleased.The room had four conversations in each chair but I presume that a more round-about discussion in there is possible.moral: Ill go back and if you are looking for a beard trim or hair cut they can do that well... I noticed 4 very different cuts being given and they all seem to be 5 star. The only reason Im giving 4 now is I dont want to be over generous from one visit, but Ill update this to five if i get the same service on the next few trips.update: they deserve the 5 stars.$20.

For the most part, the barbers here are great and they know what theyre doing; Ive gotten my haircut here on two other occasions and they were fantastic, but for my last haircut, the barber didnt style, so I now have something similar to a Jarhead. Im waiting for a week or two to pass so I can stop being self-conscious of how I look. I tend to give the same instructions at every barbershop I go to and I think some of the barbers here need explicit and meticulous instruction for exactly how you want your hair cut or it may come out the way mine did.$25 cash only.

Fantastic barbershop. Really happy with the cut and the price.

First visit: Called in the day of, and was happily surprised to get scheduled. The gentleman who answered the phone (mike) was very polite, and was also the individual to cut my hair. He was very personable, the space was clean and organized, and it was easy to find. It has been several weeks since the cut and my hair is growing in perfectly. I will definitely be going back for my follow-up cut when it is time.Second visit: Called in on a whim, and was surprised again to get in early the day of my call (06/01/16). Showed up 30min early, as i was running errands, and was taken early too!! The gentleman who should have been worked on before me was running behind and came in a few minutes after I sat. As I was being worked on many others were calling to book, but had to wait until later in the week. I got lucky! The guys who work here are all friendly, flexible and professional. And the customers seem all down to earth as well. Will definitely continue to go back! Its an excellent spot for a cut. (saw mike again)..

Having gone to many different barber shops around the city, this one is the absolute best. Prices are great and barbers are top notch. Only downside is they only accept cash.

I use to know this barber, there was a old 1 before this new one, name will, I dont know what happen to him, but this use to be his barber shop before the new guy came, was a great place where I felt home, had a TV where I could watch college football on Saturdays when he cut my hair when I was 7, just miss the old place and that it will never be the same again:/

Chicago’s Best Barbershop is by far the best Logan Square barbershop! I just moved to the neighborhood a couple months ago from Wicker. I have gone in at least 3x now, and they have been consistent with their haircuts and service. I am glad I found my new Logan Square barbershop.

A friend recommended Chicago Barbershop to me, and I now only get my haircut here. The haircut is solid, and I always feel great about it. However, Im really drawn to the environment- it feels like a vintage, city barbershop: four younger guys cutting hair in an older building with liquor, movie posters and vinyls lining the walls; likewise, a record player always plays music in the background and appointments written into an ancient-looking notebook. The barbers are friendly and always do a great job.One tip: make sure to bring cash as it is cash only. A haircut is $20.00 but bring a little extra to tip.

Excellent skill when it comes to precise hair cuts

Went here for the first time yesterday on a recommendation from a friend and was not dissapointed. The cut was great, loved the no frills atmosphere. There are too many high profile mens salons around here and its nice to have a simple barbershop, cheap cut, good quality and not to mention the straight razor neck shave. Love it, and will be returning.

I followed Billy (owner) here from my last barbershop. He was excellent and I was happy to support his new shop. Billy has since moved out of state but has set up a fantastic barbershop and a good team that I continue to give my business.Free parking along Armitage.

Mike is great at his skills and customer service. Its a laid back REAL environment and very reasonable.

Outfitted with vintage movie posters and rows of old records, Chicago Barbershop appeals to the casual man with $18 hair cuts and a low key environment.The staff is a group of laid back guys with a serious focus on hair. I went in for a quick trim and left with a decent. My barber was a little green (3 months out of styling school) and he could have followed directions better but everything worked out.The cash only operation isnt convenient and the neighboring stores $2.50 ATM fee is an easy way to push the price over $20.If youre in the neighborhood, this is a good option, if not, stick with your local Great Clips / Super Cuts.

Went there once for a haircut an beard trimEnded up having to fix the beard a little bit at home, no big deal. Called in to get a beard trim, and was told they only do it as a haircut/beard combo. Seems very odd for a barbershop. Will probably try again.
