The thing i like the most is that Aviv is so accessible. whenever i have a problem i know it will be taken care of as soon as possible and always in a complete and reliable manner. often they can fix the problem while you wait. if it’s a big job you will probably have to leave it there but i am always confident that the problem will be resolved without unnecessary delays.the parking lot can get crowded because this is a very popular mechanic in this neighborhood but they will always find room. Aviv is above all HONEST and seems to know everything about cars. his rates are average not super low but he never pushes for higher priced options. his goal is to give you what you need as cheaply as possible. once my side view mirror was knocked off by a hit and run. Aviv said it would cost about $325 to replace it properly but if i don’t care too much about the appearance he would try to do a makeshift job. it ended up looking fine for my old car. cost? $20.

Quick, affordable, thorough, FRIENDLY. You always feel welcome. For an older vehicle they offer you options. They are prudent with recommendations for preventative maintenance. Ample parking. Can arrange to drop off and pick-up after hours. When they dont know, they tell you, and do their research. My prior great mechanic retired and referred me to them. Ive gone to them for YEARS now, and would go nowhere else. I should have written a review long ago.

I needed my Jeep Wrangler’s front calipers (as well as pads/ rotors) replaced and was quoted $940 at another shop. I called this shop on a whim and received a significantly lower quote. What’s even better, when I dropped off my Jeep for the repair, Aviv called to inform me that I only really needed the sticking caliper replaced as the other one was fine. This of course lowered the quote even more; I’m sure other shops would’ve taken advantage of this situation. I was completely impressed by the honesty and quality of work at this shop! It’s been a couple of weeks and I haven’t had any issues with my brakes; my gas mileage is also getting better by the day! Will definitely be back for all my repair needs!

We took our Toyota and Lexus to them and in both cases they told us what was the issues faster than the dealers. They do have good prices and they do a great job. Was going to take my vehicle here for muffler. Asked the lady at the desk if they carry flowmaster, she told me she didnt know that they do direct fit. I told her I never heard of that and she said ok and hung up. Worst customer service the owner needs to get someone else on the phone shes shooing away your buissness.

I know the owner personally, and this place is awesome! Its very hard to know what youre going to get when you take your car to any kind of a body shop. The fact that I can trust and know that Im getting what I need, for your the best possible price they can offer, makes it a 5 star spot for me. Enough said.

I learned about Factory Muffler upon recommendation from my previous auto mechanic several years ago. The staff is professional, courteous, and trustworthy. Service is excellent. I highly recommend them.

I usually go through the dealership for anything for my car, but long story short I ended up using this company. I was really pleasantly surprised. They were way cheaper than the dealership, and my part was even cheaper than they estimated to me. They were easy to get ahold of by phone, and the whole thing went quick and easy. They were realistic/honest about getting an after market part for me and how long it would take to fix. Now, my car looks back to how it did before! Really seemed like a nice, wholesome business.

I felt like they wanted to give me the fairest price and do the best work. I talked to them on the phone multiple times before bringing my car in, and each time they were very polite and helpful. I will definitely refer my friends to here.

I cannot say enough good things about Factory Muffler! The staff will treat you kindly and explain whats going on with you car beyond what most shops will, and their prices are the lowest Ive seen. Probably one of the biggest things that sets Factory Muffler apart from all other shops is you can tell they actually care and they show that by calling you (several times a day, if need be) to keep you updated. This is what all other auto shops should be doing so no ones time is wasted, and so you are not in the dark wondering about whats wrong with your car or when youll get it back. I have been in a pinch with my car for the past year, and I am very glad that I found them when I did. I highly recommend these guys!

(minus patch man)Ive been going to Factory Muffler & Complete Auto Repair for almost 2 years now and have always been satisfied. I too went in once thinking my car needed something specific and Aviv said no it was not necessary. I have recently had them replace all my brakes, exhaust system and also do a few minor things (oil change, tire rotation, etc) and though my total cost was up there, it was still a more than fair price for the amount of work, the quality of work and the turn around time I received. The best compliment you can pay someone that works in a customer service industry, is a referral, and because of great experiences had here, Factory Muffler on Devon in Chicago are now the car shop to more than 6 of my co-workers/friends. Cant speak highly enough of this shop and its friendly staff.

Had problems with ABS, bad sound was coming each time I was slowing down to full stop, after reading good reviews decided to come from Des Plaines, was told estimate for replacement of 2 front hub assemblies 640$ total, after leaving my car there had a call that they found that I just need to change only one rear and that it would cost just half of the estimated price, I was very surprised because other shops could just charge me 640$ and I would never know because I was ok with that price in the first place, but they didn’t, very impressed with their honesty, definitely will come back.

I went to factory muffler to get a second opinion, Aviv patched my tire for $10. He saved me a couple hundred dollars.
