I’ve been with State Farm for over 40 years. The reason is how caring and professional Dave and his perfectly selected team is. You really are treated with such attention to detail and being sure your needs are met. No hard sells. Dave is simply one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Throughout the years I’ve had a few mishaps and SF came through quickly and efficiently. Hattie has helped me on a few occasions and I appreciate how customer service oriented she is. If you have a question she will really go the extra mile to explain until you understand. My entire family is with SF and the reason we stay is that we can trust them. It’s a rare group of people in this day and age that work so well together and provide you with such excellent service but Dave has that team!

Ive been insured with State Farm from Davids office since, I believe, 2008. I have a policy that covers a home, a few cars, etc etc. His office does a great job of getting me multi-line discounts, calling to follow-up, etc. Most importantly, I sometimes feel dumb when it comes to insurance and they do a great job of explaining it in normal human terms so I understand but never feel stupid. Katie Lopes is amazing to work with. Ive also worked with Dawn Peek and asked her for quotes on a bunch of types of cars when I was in the market for one a few years ago. She did a whole bunch of work on that quickly and without being annoyed that I kept coming back for more information. Highly recommend their office.

His staff was very knowledgable about any changes or issues I had with my insurance (shout out to Donna!), and gave me (and this is the important part) the CORRECT coverage I needed. Ive been going to this office for at least 8 years. Dave and his team are super friendly and easy to deal with. I have a very busy work schedule and they always accommodate me when I need to come in.

If I could, I would give 0 stars. Don’t get State Farm. The agents are nice, but when you actually need to use your insurance coverage, they leave you in the cold...literally 1.5 hours on a freezing cold night in Chicago to not get my tire fixed and had to walk home.EDIT: I bumped my rating up to 3 stars because Dave was very responsive to our problem (after the fact) and ensured that we were refunded for our car being towed since we had to leave it over night and the uber ride we required to get our car.

I am very upset with this State Farm agency! Thomas an agent that works at this location took a payment from me & ensured me that both my Chevy & Ford cars were up to date on payments and were both covered! Comes to find out 10 days after that payment my account was charged an additional $300 which I am extremely furious about! When I called the agency to find out why Thomas explained he didnt know what happened and why such a quick turn around. I was not trying to hear it after 10 days ago he collected $155 from me!! I demanded a refund he submitted one and said he was going to call me to let me know the status and he never did!!! I had to call him and asked whats the status and he explained to me that State Farm will most likely not approve my refund ( maybe thats why he didnt call) because the mailings have been sent out!!! The bill wasnt due until the 28th of September! I also didnt authorize State Farm to withdraw the money which is illegal because I never signed a form allowing State Farm to do that after I gave Thomas my new PNC card because I had switched banks! He explained that he will do a 1 time payment only! Apparently he did not do that! I have never had this happen to me when Dawn takes care of me but once Thomas took care of me that 1 day all this mess occured!!!! Thats not even the worst part I asked Thomas that I wanted to speak to a manager & he said Dave the man who runs this place was going to contact me by the end of the business day today Friday 9/14 & never did!!! Like are you kidding me?! Of course I am even more upset about my situation! I never had this happen to me that is why I only deal with Dawn she knows what she is doing! I want my money back that I am entitled too! I never authorized this and I am so upset that this happened! I will definitely be switching car insurance company!
