I am on my 2nd car purchased with Total Finance, and am very happy with the level of service I have received over the last few years. I worked with Yesenia recently when I experienced some financial hardships, and she worked everything out for me so I was able to keep my truck without any problems. DONT GO HERE. If I can give them no stars I would. They repossessed my vehicle after being 2 1/2 weeks late. I called in told them I was in the hospital and I was off work for 3 weeks in they asked me for my medical records. I didnt disclose that information and I woke up to my car gone.

They a-holes deserve no stars... rudest people. How are you gonna call me and ask where the car is when u don’t even send me a payment book when I asked. And how dare you ask me if the car is with me?? Really?? My fault cause they didn’t tell me when the payment was do and than call and act like a-holes?? They need a law suit

Employees are told to tell their customers they can not refinance for 1yr. People can refinance when ever they please. I had to ask for the supervisor. The supervisor also tried to play stupid, but fortunately she came to her senses. Total finance is financing my vehicle. Total Finance has to provide me with all the information I request. Total Finance cant provide me with paper work or refinance options. Total Finance is a buy here pay here cash for title company. All the interest most be paid before the actual car price is touched. If I was told from the day of my purchase that I was going to be financed by such a company like Total Finance I would of not agreed to the terms. This company has no integrity and a class action lawsuit is coming.

If your buying a car do not what so ever if the finance company is TOTAL FINANCE!!!!! When your done paying your car off they hold your title hostage for no reason what so ever. They have been paid in full since April 2018 and it is now 2019 and I still have not received my car title and only response is our department is on it.....

I wouldnt even give this place one star. Honestly the worst financing deal I have ever done, and the hell they put me through in the process. I cant even believe this place is still in business!!! I made a rookie mistake when I was in my mid 20s and I look at the reviews now and Im still in disbelief on how this dealer, which I wouldnt even call this crooked place a dealer because of how much of a scam and terrible service this place is would still even be in business. Marcella at ext 191 is the rudest ever!! These people do not care about you or your situations. Never seen a finance company that does business the way they do. After my car is paid off I’ll never do business with them again. I’ve already made my report to the BBB. They were my last resort for a car and its the only reason I’m in a deal with them. April 2019 kissing there rude behinds goodbye and for good.

If I can give no stars I will, this place is very unprofessional, rude, cant even talk, I cant believe is 2018 and this place dont have access to email. I just wanted a statement by email and according to staff they cant send out email. They are very quick to take your money out the bank but cant send you a statement not even buy mail. Surprised there are so many ignorant reviews here. It seems like you 1-Star the place if youre at fault for not being able to follow a simple contract that you yourself signed. Keep up with the payments people; its not that hard.Theyre actually very helpful, flexible representatives here if you do your part. Ive never had an issue. Neither has my cousin and other family members. The bitter reviews must be from people that would rather buy some Js and snapbacks and get their nails did before they prioritize and pay their bills on time. My wife had a question once and Gilberto was kind enough to help. Just do your part people. Everything here is very straightforward.

Dont see what the big fuss is about. In the 8 months Ive had my car Ive never had a problem with the finance company. The couple months that I wasnt able to pay on my due date my representative was able to provide me with an arrangement.

This place deserves ZERO stars ! Company harasses your employer, and references for being less then a month behind, even after you communicate that a “ life issue “ happened. Extremely RUDE staff ! Watch for the interest rate, it can be more on your credit report then the actually contract. Also, no monthly statement to show you remaining balance. Please report/file a complaint to BBB, Consumers Affairs, Lisa Madigan, and rip-off report or channel seven news for investigation! This place is A FRAUD!

If I could I would give them no stars! Stay away from this place! They are not helpful, they give you an attitude as soon as you want to speak to a manager. I called at 9am and I am still waiting for a call back 5 hours later! They transfer me to different extensions and nobody is able to help me and when I ask to speak to a manager they tell me there is nobody I can speak to. This is unacceptable! If there was a way to give them a negative star rating, then this company would be top notch on that. The worst customer service ever, they are always rushing you on the phone, they do not explain their business methods, are not flexible with changing a bill due date. Lack of communication on their end with notes on accounts, they do not give the customer a chance to ask detailed questions or do they give you an answer that will leave you satisfied. (Regardless if its the correct answer or not, because they do not explain their methods) The place is a rip off, who take advantage of people who have struggled with rebuilding their credit. Places to stay away from Ultimo Precio, and car outlet. I financed a 2008 Scion TC from them. In three months the engine seized. So I had to come out my pocket almost 2,100 for a new car all in one month. To make the situation worse I called and told them since I had to come out my pocket so much I didn’t have enough for my first payment and they refuse to extend the payment till next month. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.. I’ve been dealing with these people for about 6-7 months now and they are absolutely horrible compared to my how my friends tell me about their financing company that works with them!!

Called and tried to set up a payment plan for a truck we purchased and was transferred to our account rep who was not the same woman we have been transferred to the last few times we called in. I told her that we would have the payment to them next week and she responded by telling me that if we do not pay by 4pm this Friday then collection proceedings will begin. How in the hell can a finance place down right refuse the opportunity to get their full payment...They should be thankful that we are trying to communicate and get payments set up and not just ignoring their 80,000 damn calls a day. Probably the worst place we have ever financed through and their customer service reps are some of the most unorganized I have ever dealt with...EVER!!! And from the looks of the other comments this is a trend with them. We will be discontinuing business with them once the year is up and making sure none of our friends or family use them ever.

Yeah unless youre desperate trying to build your credit dont buy a car from them. Theres like a representative here or there thats pretty cool but other than that stay clear. Theyll set you up with bogus loans and some of the cars are bogus too so youre trapped paying it off

I took out a loan when I got my car in 2016 and I got a little behind on payments this month by mistake as I thought i had paperless billing set up for autopay but one month it glitched hard or something and I didnt notice it didnt go through. It was 4 days late! Never missed a payment before this time, so i got a call I believe the guy’s name was Gill(sp?) and I just explained the situation and he just asked that I have it paid by the end of the business day which I agreed to and everything was fine. Really polite service and they’re understanding.

The customer service here is ridiculous. Every time I call and press the selected option the calls drop. I have to keep trying to get through and when I do, its a long wait and then I get connected to some rude customer service who do not know how to do their job. This will be first time and last time I finance a car from the company, and will not recommend them to any of my family and friends. Like seriously, get better phone service!

All I can say is I wished I would’ve saw these reviews before trying to finance a car with them. They really don’t care. They don’t know what the contract really says. They feed you a bunch of lies and they just want to argue with you about what the sales person told you and etc.

This place is the Worst!!! They do not care about helping people. they are rude and will not help! I co signed for my son for a car a year and half ago, well life happens and he couldnt afford payment and had the car repo. so I now have been working on my credit and saw the repo reporting. I literally called them to see what could be worked out and they were not willing to give me ANY options, just what can you pay?? they are even unwilling to report to the credit bureau once a payment arrangement is set up.. Marcella was beyond rude, and I was right back and said somethings that werent so nice as to coldness of the call was just that they could care less.. my son got the car for a little over 13k and after 4months they sold it for 5,995.. what a scam!!! Do not get a loan with these people!!!

Total Bullshit is the worst finance to get your car from.They will talk nice to your hear at first, but when you call their call center for help. They WILL NOT help at ALL. But sure enough move quick to their collections.Heads up if it gets REPO, they will tell you is in Waukegan and have to pick it up over....LIE its at the dealership.........They will be nasty! No respect, no shame on how they speak to you, no type of training at all. I got my first car at carromatic last year I have no complaints, only that total finance took forever to fix my car that was in a hit & run .

In claims there is a women named Jennifer if she is the one to process your claim ask to speak to someone else. I was asking simple questions trying to get a better understanding and she was rude and always had a smart mouth. It got to the point when I called to follow up after I let her know who I was shed put me on hold come back to the phone with a whole new attitude.. I hated her it was the worse and most difficult experience. And I only asked questions. Never got smart until the end and I just begged her to let me process my claim through someone else

These representatives transfer you over to talk to somebody but they dont pick up most the time, horrible customer service.

Nothing good about total finance, had auto loan that was closed out. Yet they report to the credit that I have all late payments after it had been closed out. Destroyed my credit, they wont fix the problem it continues to show late payments 6 months. Strongly urge you to never deal with this hack company. Getting lawyer to try and deal with bull sh×× company, theres more money out of my pocket.

I bought a car from car outlet and financed through total finance in April 2016 and the day after thanksgiving the engine went out in the car while I was out of state on the highway. I took the car to an auto shop out of town and let the company know and they did nothing for me. I paid my December payment late and in January just 3 days after my payment was due they somehow found my car out of state and repossessed it. Even though I am not missing any payment their excuse was that they reserve the right to repossess my car even if I am one day late with a payment. Please do not ever go to them! They are crooks!!!

This finance company along with the dealership CarOutlet are a bunch of crooks. I was sold a lemon, (for those of you who don’t know what it means, a lemon is a vehicle that turns out to have several manufacturing defects affecting its safety, value or utility. Any vehicle with such severe issues may be termed a lemon and, by extension, so may any product with flaws too great or severe to serve its purpose.) I tried to get my money back within the first couple of days and was bounced back and forth between both Total finance and car outlet. I’ve had a ton of issues with my vehicle and they refuse to do anything. The most recent issue which put this car out of commission for the past 3 months, is with the timing chain, tensioner, and possibly the pistons and god knows what else. The repair from Volkswagen was estimated around $2000 to $3000, and that’s it it’s only the timing chain and tensioner. If it needs anything else or if it needs a new engine, I will have to pay more. I recently spoke with David and Ruben from total finance and David threatened to repo the car multiple times if I don’t make the payment, mind you I asked for an extension since I don’t have $3000 to $5000 to dish out for a new engine. I’ve had nothing but issues with both companies. After David finally let me speak after constantly interrupting me with his threats, he told me my only options were to get it fixed on my own, have them repo it, or tow it to their closest facility and maybe they’ll add the charge to the end of my payments. I also recently found out that there was a hidden $9000 fee in my loan, even though my paperwork doesn’t state that it was going to be added on. My agreement was for $14,300 which was over priced for a car that was only worth $4000 in pristine condition with the mileage of 86,000. I had got the car because I wanted to rebuild my credit and it has ruined my life. I’ve had 20+ issues with the car and it’s honestly not worth dealing with them anymore. This car had worked less than half the year I’ve owned it. They refuse to do anything and even blamed me for the issues it had. AVOID THESE CROOKS. Don’t pay over $20000 for a car that doesn’t work.

They threaten you to make payments and insult you when an arrangement needs to be paid. I hate this company with a passion and look to return my car completely due to the service. This company absolutely the worst, I was involved in a hit-and-run situation their only solution was to pick up the car and told me that the pick up my stuff as soon as possible don’t ever ever make business with this people, they don’t care about your money is their priority, I’ll admit I was behind one month and we arrange a payment plan the following month telling them that will pay them in full in one week they refused, talking about customer service is the worst they don’t do nothing, mess over your credit worst experience ever!! I will come with a lawyer and the Better Business Bureau this people are a scam!! Their insurance is the same bs!! Also they’ll pick up your car with out a warning!

This place is HORRIBLE! I called to make a payment followed by a few questions. I talked to an agent by the name of Albert he lied so I asked for a supervisor who goes by the name if Yesenia. If I could give these people -100 stars I would. This is the worst car finance company I have ever dealt with. Talk about a huge eye opener. This is my first time ever owning a car of my own, and instead of these people attempting to work with you, they do the complete opposite. Now Im not going to lie, I dont usually pay on the payment due date, which is the 14th of every month, mainly because I have other bills that I have to pay. BUT when I do get the money, I usually always pay it WITHIN that month. Last month however was the first time I was actually really behind in my payments, like a month behind. Instead of these people trying to work with me, they called my job harassing people, they called my family members harassing them, all over ONE MISSED PAYMENT. I had talked to someone the umpteenth time they called asking for the payment and me explaining to them that my family were going through hardships and that I just didnt have it for that month and they would have to wait until next week when I got paid again. And the person who I talked to, told me ok, ill mark that down and hung up the phone in my ear. Then they had the nerve to call my job, spoke to my boss, harassing them saying they wanted to start garnishing my wages and they had permission to do so, and when my boss ask for proof my boss never got anything back from them, so its evident they were just pulling my bosss leg. I know that customer service is hard. I work in customer service. I deal with people on the daily and I know that sometimes, you get some crappy customers, but seriously? I wouldnt even treat my worst enemy like this nor would I even recommend them to this finance company. And they will literally call you day after day for ONE PAYMENT. It doesnt matter if you spoke to someone the day before or what, theyll just keep calling harassing and threatening you. Ive just stopped answering the phone all together when they call because I dont feel like hearing what mess they have spewing out of their mouths this time. I dont feel like being harassed. My uncle went a year without paying his car note and he had a different finance company when he went through hardships (never went anywhere in the car throughout that year) and they worked with him, so that says a lot about this company right there.These people literally have 0 customer service skills. Loaned a car from Carromatic last year. I was in a car accident and the car was totaled. I had the car sent to Carromatic right after the accident. I called their claims department gave the information. I inquired about personal belongings and the person said they will give me 24 hours to collect my belongings. Once they received the police report it took them 3 weeks to close out my claim. All the while they were calling me to collect payments and were reporting this to the credit bureaus. Every time they would contact me I would tell them that the vehicle was in their possession and I my claim was pending. I get a call from Rocio stating I had to sign a power of attorney to give them permission to destroy the car or I would have to pay the loan, mind you this was the very first time I was notified of this. She finally at this time gives me the address for car outlet to collect my belongings. After signing the POA at Milwaukee Carromatic I drove to Waukegan Car Outlet. I arrive there for them to tell me I have to go to Ultimo Precio on Grand Ave. I arrive there and they make me wait an hour for a lady named Sassy to tell me my car was only there for 2 days after the accidents and was sent to IAA auction that is not even located in Waukegan. This place is disorganized, there’s confusion amongst their departments and their follow up is terrible. Rocio stated a few times she would be contacting by end of day and next and never did. When I called her the line would disconnect or would sit on hold for an hour without answer. Most of the staff were dressed unprofessionally and the atmosphere of their office was poor.

One day that you are late on your car payment is the end of the world for them. They believe they have the rights to blow up your phone 10x a day! They harass you every phone call you answer! They need people who speak English not just Spanish. They suck! 👎🏻

This might be a little long...I normally dont write reviews;But If it was possible I would give Total Finance negative stars. They have the most rudest, unprofessional team I have ever dealt with. The lack of Customer Service amazes me completely and it seems like Im not the only one that has experience their terrible service, I mean 1.6 stars overall! come on guys its depressing to even look at it. Everything about this company is a complete joke, from lower staff to the Supervisors..God are they terrible smh.(Marcella, Roxana). Only Total Finance can call YOUR phone and think they can talk to you any kind of way and threaten you to get your vehicle if you dont make your payment but then call and say You are an outstanding customer, you now qualify to upgrade your vehicle lol silly.I get a different rep every time I receive a phone call, at this point I cant even keep up.The only good part was that they lower my interest from 24-27% to 12% that I do appreciate.Total Finance needs experienced Customer Service Reps _ NOT McDonalds Drive thru Employees.

I just wanted to say that i had a Great experience due to Me having a minor set back, Josue, was very proffesional and Polite to helping Me handle my situation with working My payment options open in Regards of keeping My Car, Very Helpful and Patient, I would totally Recomend asking for him in the future if you ever have any concerns,or questions, Im sure He can assist you with what you Need.

This company needs to be shut down ASAP!!! Scammers, liars, rude as hell, rip offs and so unprofessional. They harass you, your job and your references when your not even days late on a payment. Got a car from último precio and this is their finance company. And its like selling your soul to the devil. If your late they say theyre trying to help you but theyre just thirsty for money. WORST! A Tow Truck was sent to my house asking for my brother when he DOES NOT even live there. I would like to know how these people were able to access my address without having it in their system?? They were never given my address! It is against the law to search up addresses without anyones concern. All day do is harass people, well I will be doing the same until I get an answer! They are rip offs, dont get them as your lender I called them about 3 months ago and asked if I pay off my loan how much would it be and I was told 10,000. Then I finally came up with the money to pay it off and called them today and I was told that my payoff amount was NOW 12,053. How can it possibly go up instead of going down. Customer service told me that it was because of my interest. RIPOFFS

Josefina is the girl only working there claiming she is the assistant manager and that the manager is on vacation. they keep stalling and giving u stories is in 2 facilities they are checking. I ask for address they refuse to give me that. I am pushed around even after they claim I have to make appt. to get my car I even went along with that story even they made it for today they still refusing to give me location of my vehicle. The worst place of business. No respect for their customers from the attitude to their process in collecting payment. My most recent problem is that after making my payment and being on track with the monthly payments this people continued to garnish the payment from my paycheck. I DO NOT recommend at all and I really hope one day all of your customers unite against you in a major law suit because a place like this should have gone out of business years ago. Your employees break so many privacy laws just because someone picks up your calls does not mean that person is the owner on the account and no information should ever be given to anyone about personal problems like being late on a payment. I will be looking for legal assistance in my case and please record the calls that your customer service and collection department make because I sure am. NEGATIVE STARS

I have had the worse experience with this insurance company. Every time I call to get an update on the status of my claim they give me the run around. Its been three weeks and every time I call I am told something different by different representatives. When my accident first happened it was on July 6, they were supposed to pick up my car from the tow place on Thursday July 7, never happened. The car wasnt picked up until the following week. Where apparently it has just been sitting there. I didnt know getting estimates would take more than two weeks to come in. I have called several times over the past few weeks and they keep telling me they are waiting on estimates. I called yesterday and they told me they have all the estimates and it needs to go in to review. I received a call from a representative asking me if I would be interested in another car if it is a total loss. A total loss? The damage was just to the bumper and was still drive-able. There is no way that it is a total loss. I called today to get an update and the representative tells me they are STILL waiting on another estimate and they went last night to do an estimate, even though I was told yesterday they have all the estimates. It has been a complete nightmare dealing with this insurance company which I had no choice but to get this insurance since CarOutlet gives you no choice. The representatives are also rude and condescending. I was even hung up on a few times. What great customer service (sarcasm). I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and will be leaving negative reviews on every directory I can. Everyone should be aware of the customer service they provide and the very little that they do for you when in need. Do yourself a favor save the headache and money and DO NOT do business with Total Finance/ Todo Seguro AND CarOutlet.

They tell you your getting full coverage but yet you have to pay for liability seperate. How is that full coverage? I had and accident and it was a total nightmare!!!! They never ever pick up. Day after Christmas and getting attacked for not making my payment yet because I have not made it to the bank to deposit my payment (it isnt even late, still in grace period). Rep actually argued with me over me walking to the bank over 2 miles to make the deposit. Numerous times they have threatened my husband to repossess the car because payment late less than a week. Been leasing for over 2 years now and always made my payment, anyways they can not repo unless youre in default 3 or more months.

Recently I was late for payment due to losing my money by accident. I was very upset with my poor judgement in placing my money in the same pocket as my phone. Well after deciding to borrow money to pay a partial payment. I was met with a negative response and threats about coming to get my car. Not after 24 months of payments and 10, 000 dollars!

I finance my car that was only worth 4000 dollars and they charged me for 6 years 32,000 thousand dollars i gave the car back cause that car gave me problems on the first 4 moths is not worth it.

Dont ever go there or Caroutler. They do not help you. Nobody either in the office of total finance or by calling their number want to tell me my balance.
