Super sweet and welcoming staff. They have really good customer service and will make sure to communicate with you if someone walks in ahead of you or if they have an appointment etc. very friendly staff. Clean as well. They have a covid 19 cert and they spray sanitize every chair and pedicure basin. The prices aren’t bad either and the massage chairs are pretty good. Super relaxing “spa pedicure”

1st experience Started off rocky cause a different salon played me the day before so i was weary but LAURA at Kats was very nice.😊 Tried her best to do right by me & it was appreciated.

I really didnt like how my nails came out they were lumpy and the design and shape were not correct. I was heading to the airport so I just paid the $120 and got out of there. Looks nice, people were polite so maybe she was new. Loved my feet though so two stars for that part.

I came to this location only needing to get a color change from a fresh set done at a another salon in Suffolk. The lady that did my nails was very quiet but very good. (Very petite lady, really cute lol) She took her time, reshaped my nails & painted them evenly. My only complaint would be they seem to charge more than other salons for simple stuff. But I guess it was worth it!

Uneven manicure. My nails have not looked this bad in years. The gel is up to my cuticle (and on my skin) and one girl even used the term “warped” to describe how this manicure turned out. The manager (who says her name is Kat- but is not the “Kat” I remember meeting previously?) is aware and feels that since “not all” of my nails are bad, it is acceptable. I’m still not sure which nails she feels are not bad, but I suppose that’s preference... I appreciate that they refunded me part of what I originally paid them in order to have my nails done at a salon that has standards. Best of luck to anyone who schedules with Kat’s.

I made an appointment with Kat today and she did an amazing job. She took her time and fixed problem areas from the other nail salon I went to. I spent 46 for fill with shellac polish. Pricey but worth it!

My nails are not even, all the nails are different shapes, not consistent at all and I asked for a design and instead of her saying she can’t do it she makes a mess on my nails. I am highly upset and I expressed this to them and they still charged me $55 for this mess. I am disgusted

If I could rate zero stars I would, DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON I REPEAT DO NOT VISIT THIS SALON ! I took my 3 yr old daughter to get her nails painted just for the experience I told the lady I wanted her to have gel polish she said in these very exact words “10 for her ” I said ok most places in my area charge 8 so I wasn’t concerned about a $2 difference. When she was done I gave her a 20 bill and she tried to give me 5 back I said you told me it was 10. She said no it’s 15 I’m not hurting for money but I’m sure they are they barely get business but it doesn’t make it right to take advantage of people. They can keep that $5 because they’re going to need it. They’ll be out of business soon.I have warned yall these people have no integrity and my daughters 1 inch nail polish is ugly too

My husband surprised me with a pedicure appointment. We get there early for our 0930a appointments. The lady who begins servicing us has a sourly demeanor. I sit down for the pedicure and the water is 2nd second degree burn HOT. I asked her to put some cold water in and she acted if I was bothering her. My husband returns from the bathroom same issue, he asks for cold water to be added she grunts/sighs under her breath. I ask are you having a bad morning? Youre coming of kinda rude right now. So she asks Kim about us in her native language and is informed we are the 0930a appointment holders. Her attitude continues I canceled our appointments. Will NOT be back. Covid-19 restrictions just lifted and poor service isnt a good look.

Manicure lasted less 3 days before chipping

I asked to have my eye brows waxed. The representative made my eye brows uneven. When I told her about it the first excuse I received was that I didn’t have enough hair. I hadn’t waxed my eye brows in over a month. There was a lot of hair. When I complained the lady talked in another language and told me to talk to the owner. The owner didn’t get up from her seat. Just said the eye brows were even and asked what I wanted her to do about it with an attitude. . I said I wanted even eye brows and she kicked me out of the store. She refused to stand up and look at my eye brows. She kept looking at her customer. She called the police and they as well as another customer that was walking in the store agreed my eye brows were uneven. When she called the police she referred to me as “black”. There was another African American customer in the store and she even widened her eyes at that statement/description. I would never go to this establishment again based solely on the professionalism. Horrible. And the Better Business Bureau has been notified. I would give zero stars if I could after this.

I was super uncomfortable coming to this salon. I went to get my nails done with a friend of mine and the women who did our nails had attitudes towards us for absolutely no reason. I was very respectful and kind, even with the unnecessary rudeness. They make you pay before you get your finger nails painted so you don’t ruin the paint, which is fine by me, but only if you can actually do a good job. The paint was in layers and she did not paint the entirety of my nails. She almost seemed as if she were bothered by me or as if she were in a rush. All in all, I felt very unwelcome at this establishment but on top of that, the service was not all that great either!

Pedicure was nice and relaxing. They left us with hot towels on and went to help other customers so we sat for awhile but besides that everything was great.

This is always a great experience. The technicians genuinely care about what is best for me. They have altered my treatment to accommodate my sensitive skin. They go above and beyond.Just wish they would not speak in their native language, they do not want you to know what is being said. (I understand why)I am not ear hustling but if you speak english when I pay speak it through out all.The service is 5 star!!!

They have an amazing selection of shellac colors, but thats about it. They use cheap acrylic (it burns my fingers), they cannot shape nails correctly, and they do not talk to you. They do good nail designs though and theyre hours are great. Not my favorite place but if youre in a pinch its not bad.

On par with the other locations Ive been to. Nothing unexpected or unreasonable but also not outstanding. Nothing bad to say but nothing that would make me want to visit again.

I have been going here for years but sadly I will be looking for another salon. Pedicures are great at this location along with eyebrow wax, but nails are another story.Over the past several months I have left very unsatisfied with my nails. I bring the issues to their attention and they often make excuses (oh you must have gotten them done at another salon) or they make very little effort to address my concerns.Im tired of being charged high prices for my nails to be bumpy with air bubbles with shellac and peeling shortly after application. I asked for coffin shape and received nothing close to it.You would think as a loyal customer they would care,but they only seem to care about the money. Im done!

On 5-24-19, their credit card machine was down. I wish they would of told people BEFORE or put a sign on the door that it was down but instead, they didnt tell anyone until after their nail service was done. One lady even said outloud they need to tell customers beforehand. That just shows they only care about money so they were telling people to go to the ATM and holding an item of theirs. I even heard the owner Kat yell at her customer asking if she was going to get her some cash in a rude way and the girl looked embarrassed but she had cash. Very, very poor service.

Went in for a manicure and pedicure, showed pictures of how I wanted nails and toes painted (multiple times) and she kept asking how I wanted my toe nails painted, told her a few times, showed her the picture again, painted them wrong, I gave up and didnt bother trying to explain it again. Manicure time (different lady), she tried to give me a full set of acrylic nails. I told her I just wanted a manicure, original lady kept telling me I said I wanted a full set, I told her when I came in I wanted a manicure and pedicure, she even asked me if I was getting a manicure during my pedicure, I kept saying yes, yet still tried to put acrylic nails on. Not happy how everything turned out. Definitely will NOT be going back.

Worst manicure EVER. It felt super rushed and like she was just trying to get it over with (had me out in less than 20 minutes). Before she even polished she said “you need to pay me now” which kinda put me off. But more than anything, it looked like a kindergartner did my nails. I couldn’t get home fast enough to take it off. Bums me out cause I don’t typically spend money to get my nails done and i was excited, so this was super disappointing. Called back to get a refund but they were super rude and figured it wasn’t even worth the energy

I used to go to Anthony Vince...but after a few times of just awful service I decided to go someplace else! Kats was recomended to me by a friend so I figured to give it a try! I absolutely loved my experience at Kats. The gentalman who did my nails (Andy) was such a sweet heart he took his time and didnt rush one bit...he made sure my nails looked wonderful! U can tell he enjoyed his work and he made sure I would enjoy the results! I will definitely be coming back and will be requesting Andy!! Hes the best!!! My pedicure was great but my fill-in is horrible. I got my full set somewhere else and was really impressed, however someone told me to try Kat nails because she swears by this place. The shape is uneven, I tried to have the nail tech even it out and she just couldnt seem to understand what I was asking. The French manicure is uneven. Instead of making a fuss I am going back to my original place tomorrow to correct this mess.

The worst pedicure I have ever had. Then young man that did it was done in 20 minutes. When I got home, there were long pieces of skin hanging from the bottom of my feet. Had to do it myself. What a waste of my money. Also, got an eyebrow wax and had an abrasion over right eye. Instead of going around it, he just waxed through it causing it too bleed. I will NEVER go to this establishment again.

The employees were very nice and I love the setup. However, the pedicure was not good and my lashes were done wrong. They didn’t even blend my lashes in.

Went here Sunday with a friend who swears by this place to get a pedicure and none the less it was horrible. Ive had worst experiences but the tech is the owners husband & my friend assured me I was in good hands..WRONG. He was so preoccupied with the game on TV that he neglected my feet. They have a horrible selection of nail polish that comes out streaky. It was just not pleased shouldnt have tipped either but I guess thats the American way. Never again!

The service was great but it was expensive. I went in just for one nail repair & polish change on my nails & toes. I did not get a fill in..I received gel polish for my nails & regular polish for my toes..$40 total. Not sure the price for gel polish but geesh kinda of pricey.

I went to this salon solely based on the good reviews I read here, but it was a huge mistake! I honestly would have been better off doing my own manicure at home using my at-home gel polish kit. Instead I paid over $50 (pedi & mani with gel) and left with gel polish all over the skin around the nail...even after asking for it to be corrected. Never again!

Our experience felt very rushed...My mom was nicked multiple times and we felt just like another customer nothing was special. They literally chewed us up and spit us out. Dont get me wrong, the final result of nail art was decent, but nothing I couldnt have done myself. There were a few fingers where paint was on the sides and my nail artist told me Its ok it will come off in the shower. Thats the whole point why Im giving you my money so I dont have to do it myself. Overall, nothing special here especially for our first time visiting.

Overcharges for nails had a French acrylic done and it was $50 for a full set; then the fill in was $42 are you nuts??? Then they said that I didnt know anything about nails even though Ive been getting my nails done for six years. Do not go here it is a money pit and my nails grew out in a week so each time I would have to spend $42 just for a fill in. Ive gotten my nails done in high end salons in NY and Miami and havent paid this much. They are rude and talk about you while you are sitting there then tell you they are talking about you. One woman kept rolling her eyes at me because I wanted my nails to be cut shorter. So rude.

It doesnt smell like chemicals in here, which is a big plus. I wasnt very happy with the quality of my gel manicure though. It was bumpy and had air bubbles. The technician tried to fix but it seemed like she was struggling.

DONT GO HERE.... TOO EXPENSIVE AND BAD SERVICEI paid 41 dollars to get gel nail polish removed from my finger nails, and replaced with nothing. Then I asked to change out my toe nail polish with a different color, which both were regular nail polish. She barely filed my nails and the way she cut them shows she didnt care. I will never go here again. I should have just done them myself...

The girls were out and about, 3 generations, with my mother in a boot from prior surgery. We went to her normal nail salon, no appt. but they welcome walk ins, nope they couldnt take us. So I googled for a salon nearby and got Kats, xalled and said 4 for a pdei in 5 mins...dhe said,Yes, we will be ready. And it was wonderful!!!! Very accommodating! !!

$50 for a mani and pedi jesus christ....the pedi was good but my mani was horrible i had paint on my skin. I couldve done a better job on myself...im from NYC and payed $25 for a better mani and pedi. Wheres the hell are the good nail salons around virginia????! Everyone sucks

This is the second time Ive been here and both times Ive been disappointed.Pros: fastest mani pedi Ive ever received.Cons: sloppy color job (I have polish AROUND my nails on my skin and bubbles in the actual color), sloppy Shaping (no shape at all, some are square, some are round), sloppy cuticle care.Overall, I could have done a better job on my nails at home drunk. I go to get my nails done as a treat to myself so its a letdown to go and spend money on such a lazy job.I was in and out the door in 40 minutes which is unheard of with mani pedis. The job was sloppy and Im considering going home and giving myself a redo of both. Save your money and go somewhere else.
