Great pricing and Clean business. I walked in for a gel manicure around 4 and they sat me right away. My manicure looks so pretty. I wish I could have gotten an upgraded or signature manicure. Next time, Im coming here for my pedicure. I work right across the street and one of my clients recommended Wonder Nails 💅.

Absolutely a HORRIBLE experience!! I strongly suggest before going to this nail salon that you read there reviews. I’m away from home and decided to treat myself to mani/pedi. I stopped here based on convenience. One of my worst decisions for the day! I shared that I wanted the basic combo package of the mani/pedi. The older lady who waited on me told me “no, get the deluxe one.” I reiterated that I wanted the basic combo. As she begin to proceed and it took her only 3 minutes to do the pedicure. After seeing the results of her hasty actions, I declined proceeding with the manicure. I shared my disapproval with the management and they apologized. The manager stated she saw what was done, but that they were extremely busy. Horrible experience. Horrible service. I paid only because I didn’t feel like being argumentative.

Manicure and eyebrow wax were good. A young lady did my eyebrows and a man did my manicure. The pedicure was awkward. An older woman wanted me to purchase the higher service which I didn’t need. I don’t want my feet scraped with the big metal foot scrub. She continued to complain about my short toenails. Then she showed me her claws toenails, and said this is better. I said that would not work for me with enclosed shoes. She started talking about me in another language to her colleagues and they all looked at my feet. Customers looked at my beautiful feet. She thought it was hideous but I was satisfied.Nail salons should provide information on care after customers leave salon. Diabetics and other health issues are not taken into consideration.

First time going there and I loved it! Maria did my mani/pedi and she was amazing. ❤️ we had great conversation and she recommended a few places to get some Filipino food. I would definitely recommend this place and her.

So I want to start off with when I first walked in with my sister and child they were very pleasant. My 4 almost 5 year old daughter was very excited for her first “mani-pedi” they got us in chairs almost immediately. My daughter who of course was excited and asking lots of questions sat in my lap while I got my toes done as she was a little hesitant. They assured us she would be taken care of after my sister. As time passed my sister was finishing up her pedicure and my acrylics were being put on and within speaking distance and I realized my daughter who was still waiting patiently in a chair wasn’t helped. I stopped and asked why the lady who was supposed to her her nails is doing someone else’s. They said oh we aren’t doing her nails she moves too much… I said she is just excited and she has been waiting very patiently and still in that chair waiting for her turn thanking every person that walks by so when is she doing her nails? They quickly found someone to do it and she sat very still and did well. The fact they tried to not do her nails and not tell anyone really upset me. Don’t offer kids services if you can’t handle children especially a well behaved one.

Scheduled an appointment with Abbie for 2pm. After driving from Elizabeth City, I arrived on time for my appointment, however Abbie was with another client.... no problem with that, but after waiting 30 minutes I still had NOT been seen, and was told by the manager so sit and wait her because her 1 oclock showed up at 1:30!!! Why schedule appointments if you are NOT going to honor them? Next time try not being so nonchalant when your customers have been waiting 30 minutes for a scheduled appointment!!

One of the best experiences I have had at a nail salon. The ladies were very friendly and helpful. We walked in prepared to wait a bit since it was 2 of us and the place was packed but the hostess was keeping everyone on track and got us in less than 15 mins after arriving. We both got the spa pedicures and walked out feeling like we really got what we paid for (along with super smooth feet.) would definitely go again

I’m just adding in this review because of how they responded to one particular bad review (they have many, which are not difficult to find). What struck me was how rude and unprofessional the manager was in responding to the constructive criticism by Alexis Atwater. I have never seen such disrespect by a business on a public forum like this. I looked this place up because I ran into someone while I was out who mentioned they get their nails done here, and I was curious because I’ve been looking for a place, but they also had a couple negative things to say about the customer service. After reading these reviews, I will be looking elsewhere. To the managers and staff- just to let you know, people do read the reviews and your apparent gross lack of respect for your clients is quite obvious and it shows to potential clients. Be thankful for your prized location because without it you’d be out of business fairly quickly.

Over charged me. First time in I got a pedicure and I was told I could get a little design only on my big toe until I wanted to pay a extra $20 for gel. I did pay the extra for some ok reg design. I went and took my friend for her birthday to get her a pedicure and did gel on her nails and didn’t tell it was a up charge. Got my lower leg waxed and menu said $35 and she charged me $45. Told me today I couldn’t get any design on my nail unless I wanted acrylic and just wanted to have my long natural nails have more than enough room for a design.

I came in for a fill. My nails were done by a different salon before this. Selina did my fill and went above and beyond doing them. She did an amazing job with fixing the nails from the previous salon that didn’t do a great job. She took her time and made sure all my nails were even and shaped the same and how I wanted them. She explained how the nails are suppose to be and how the other salon didn’t do them correctly. I walked out of there feeling great and loving my nails. It has taking me forever on finding a nail person that does an amazing job and that is a perfectionist like me when it comes to my nails. Amazing job Selina. I can’t tell you enough how beautiful my nails came out. The prices were so much more reasonable as well. Selina is awesome at what she does.

The person that did my nails was very professional and very knowledgeable about doing nails on someone who is a diabetic. She also was very gentle and had a very pleasant attitude. Her booth was #13.

I booked an appointment knowing it was a Saturday expecting it to be busy for myself and my daughter. Having travelled the world and been to many salons this is by far one of the worst we have been to. It is like a conveyer belt to see how many people they can push through the door. No customer service at all. The guy cut my nails too short and the polish was spotty. My daughter an I wanted an experience together we got our feet done together but were seated completely different areas for our nails. I will not be using this salon again. The lady say next to me was being pushed to get a pedicure she didn’t want they just didn’t want to listen.

Out of the many of times I’ve come here to get my nails done I’ve never been in so much pain. From the beginning of color removal to the end of the fill the nail tech, Jessica, put me in pain every step of the way. I chose not to finish the service past the basic fill because all of my fingers were continuously burning from whatever she did to me. The only way I’ll return is if I never sit down with that nail tech again.

By far the worse pedicure i gotten. Gentlemen who was doing my nail hit me on my leg.. since I was just getting a regular pedicure he will not push cuticles nor clean them... Nails were not cut even.. will not recommend this place at all...

So I have had my nails done here and also pedicure. They have in place safety measures such as, wash hands upon entering, everyone has face masks on, every other nail station is closed as well as the pedicure stations. So after every customer is finished the staff wipe down their station with sanitizers. The work is very good. Prices are comparable to other such like establishment. Recommend going here. Workers are courteous, they offer you bottled water and they dont pressure you into buying more.

I came in with my cousin and we both got our nails done and eyebrows waxed. I don’t get my nails done much so i don’t know much about it, I went with a light blue gel polish and my stylist was selina. She was so sweet and did amazing! I definitely recommend this salon and recommend Selina as well!! I’ll definitely be back.

Selena did my nails!! She was very sweet and GENTLE... I had her fix my my nails from a different shop and she did a wonderful job. I walked out with the best nails I have ever paid for. We came here today to get a mani/pedi bundle( listed as $37)and a full set with a pedi. And everything went great with the service but it’s the receptionist at the front desk who turned the whole visit bad. We went to pay and she tried to overcharge us. Ain’t no way a bundle that’s supposed to $37 turned to $60. My mother didn’t ask for gel at all and the nail technicians didn’t listen to her and still put it up there. And I suggest training your receptionist to treat customers better.

David used a new gel for designers and it was absolutely perfect. Shape is ALWAYS on point. Service is fast. All the staff are wonderful but David is my favorite nail tech. I always go to him. So you probably should too.

BEWARE and make sure yall are clear on how much they are charging you BEFORE they start They arent pushy because they just add it all up in the end. If you inquire, the lady in the front acts like she doesnt know english. And dont fall for the the register is offline trick. They just want you to pay cash. I dont mind paying for quality, but dont trick me into paying premium prices for standard services. WILL NEVER BE BACK.

They didnt ask me what I wanted pedicure wise and overcharged me. Didnt even have my nails cut the same length. They basically put my feet in water and painted them. If you want a real pedicure DONT go here. I know businesses like that get busy, but you should treat everyone the same and the way youd want to be treated after paying for the service.

One bad apple will spoil the whole tree. I requested to get medium short coffin nails. My technician Edward made no conversation and only asked what I wanted. He proceeded to apply the fake nails but when I looked at them closely the fake nail did not cover my nail bed so thefore when the nail grows out it will be missing some acrylic and it will snag.. When I told him about my issue he said how do I know? I told him I know because Ive had previous issues with people not fitting the fake nail to my real nail size. He refused to fix my issue and proceeded to tell me thats how he does nails. I knew I was taking a chance on a nail Solon that Ive never been to but the service I recieved was totally unacceptable and I will not ever come back and nor will I ever refer someone to the shop. And see how you talk to your customers are very rude. And he wasnt the best clearly putting a fake nail thats shorter than my actual nail bed. For some reason yall hate when a paying customer tells you something that they dont like. Like I said wont be back and I wouldnt recommend anyone to your shop.

As I was choosing which pedicure to get (regular pedicure) the guy kept pointing to the signature one. I kept saying no regular but he didnt listen. He also didnt do all the was included in the signature (foot amd leg massage) and he rushed through it fairly quickly. I still was charged for the signature pedicure even though I told the woman who could better understand me that I asked for regular amd she said I had to pay for the signature.My manicure was pretty rushed too and after I left I noticed some edges he didnt go back over with the gel polish and I had to come home to file my own nails because they were sharp and ridged. Definitely not coming back to this location.

I would give them a 5 star if Vinny had done my feet too. He is by far my favorite. I have been doing here for years, long before they redid the place. They dont do appointments on the weekends that does make it inconvenient and the wait is long of you want a particular person to do your nails

Got a pedi on Saturday and the nail tech cut the side of my toe with that cheese greater thing. The water was either extremely hot or extremely cold. So it wasnt relaxing. My cuticles are not done properly and the polish isnt flush so it will end up lifting sooner than I would like. I asked for the Signature pedicure and they have me a different one and of course up charged me. Even though I told them and pointed to the pedicure I wanted on the list. I will not be returning.

David is a true artist and has such a great energy! He is really busy but if you are able to book with him, he is amazing! There are so many talented nail artist at this salon, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time at this nail salon, I went in for a pedicure, I got a gentlemen who handled my nails very poorly, had no idea how to handle ingrown nails without torturing, he cut into my small nail skin that was bleeding even after the pedicure was done. My nails are uneven and not smooth. I have shown my nails to the manager who said she is unable to give me a refund. Worst experience of my life in a nail salon. I have pictures of the pedicure that Im happy to forward to the owner.Im extremely disappointed with the service.

Got my nails done with tina today and everything was fine until she applied a top coat on my nails. The top coat she used seemed to be very dried out which made my nails turn out so bad. I told her they were messed up but she said they werent put more top coat on top and cuticle oil all over my hands. Upon leaving i also noticed my nails felt very jagged so ill have to file them at home and possibly repaint them.

David did my nails and I was amazed at the job he did, the time he did it in and also the price ! I will definitely be returning! The environment was very nice and welcoming as well!

Made an appointment a day on advance and when I go there for my appointment my technician didnt know anything about me coming so I had to wait an hour and 15 minutes for an appointment I made the day before..But my technician Antoinette was awesome as always she makes sure you get what you ask for .. Nails look terrible especially after a week later. Barely see the color. Guy my was on his phone constantly, holding me up. He didn’t throughly clean after last customer N over charged me.

This was my go to spot whenever I get my nails done but after the experience I had with the woman at the front desk I will no longer be coming here. I showed the nail design and the color I wanted for my nails to the lady who did them. It was a simple nude color with white French tip at the end. Instead she used a pink powder (which was also an extra charge) that look nothing like the color and the tips designed were so thin. I had also repeatedly asked if my actual nail would be long enough for the design or if I would need extra length added but she said it would be fine. Once it was finished and did not look like the picture I told the lady at the front desk and she told me to come back tomorrow and they will fix it. So I came back the next day only for the lady at the front to say that she would have to charge me because to change the color she would have to take the entire over thing off. Her son was very pleasant to speak with about the situation but her attitude and visible frustration while I was explaining that I never asked for this color and the design looking nothing like the picture was quite rude. If she wanted to charge me then she could have just said that the day before as I was leaving not when I drove all the way back there to get it fixed.

David’s establishment does not disappoint. Great customer service! David surprises me at every appointment with something only he could envision and I love my nails every time! And MyMy will do my pedicures as long as she is there! She does great work! Wonder Nails is the place for great service!!!

After six weeks of getting my manicure done by David, NO LIFTING. It was a black acrylic w decorative foils on 4/10 fingers. I filed down my manicure after a while because David is by appointment and hes in high demand.

This shop does really good nails. I wish they had a price list posted. That is the only negative for me. Otherwise they provide awesome service and they’re really skilled techs.

I have been going here since November 2020 and make appointments with Antonette. **Antonette is amazing and I would 100% recommend her** My issue is NOT with Antonette. I called on Tuesday (4.6.21) to book her earliest appointment on Thursday morning with her. I gave the receptionist my name/number and confirmed I was scheduled for her very first appointment since, I have work right after and have an event this weekend. When I arrived, I was told she was already booked and given to a different nail tech. The lady at the front desk apparently doesnt keep track of her appointments and its very unprofessional. I had specific clear/glitter and butterflies on my middle fingers and they are now cloudy because the same products were not used. I am highly disappointed in how this was handled. If my nails werent out grown and needed to be fixed for my event, I wouldve walked out. This is now the second time, Ive had an appointment with her and been given to a different nail tech and the work is never comparable to Antonette.

The atmosphere was very inviting and the nail techs were all polite. I always come here and never have any issues with my services that I receive. My specific nail tech that I had today, Antoinnette, was very professional and she did my nails exactly how I like them to be for work.

The place is clean and nicely set up. Shoko and David are my favorites for anything full set or fill related. John is the only one I go to for my pedicures. The most notable thing is the measures they are taking during COVID. Love the Lysol wipe downs after each customer.

An appointment was made for me prior to me getting there, the older lady hostess ignored my presence. She was not helpful even after several attempts . But when the person who made the appointment showed up suddenly I was honey have a seat and I was in their system. The workers are courteous but of course paying $104. For a gel manicure and a regular gel pedicure is way too much. Funny when you are asking questions they hardly speak English but they understand money. I wanted a fill how did I wound up fleeced??

They use to be our go-to spot. However, the quality and service is terrible. It took 10 minutes tops to do a regular pedicure which would typically take 30-40 minutes. I felt like it was rushed and they weren’t even busy. I still have dry skin around the toes which would usually be removed by now. Probably not coming back because this was a reaccurance. Thought it would’ve improved by now.

I came in today February 25 2021 for a fill in and design. The lady asked me did I want a design and I said yes I want a simple design. So she sat me with her nail tech Kenny. I had to wait for Kenny for 30mins even though the lady told me it would only be 10mins. So I waited. I showed Kenny the picture of the design and he said he could do it. Upon him trying to do the design he asked me did I like it. I told him no because it didnt look like the design that I was showing him. He tells me that he cant do the design and says he can take it off. So I tell him ok but I still want the design is there anyone else that can do it... he preceeded to tell me no one was available to do it and that he could just do a solid color...so I said whatever just do it but I wont be coming back anymore he then says thats ok you dont have to come back here anymore I tried my best but you dont like it. I swear it looked like a 4yr old tried to draw the lines on mt nails...So instead of saying anything to him I went to the lady at the front desk that sat me with him after telling me he could do a design. I asked could I just pay someone else to do the design I originally asked for. She then tells me Id have to pay an extra $30 for the design!! I just paid $30 for a fill in and straight damn paint!! Why in the world would I pay an extra $30 for just a design when I was originally quoted $45 for a damn fill in and design.... so while trying to discuss the matter with the lady at the desk she gets upset and tells me to go take it up with the nail tech🤦‍♀️ Honestly I will never come back here again just because of them 2 people!! The design was so simple I wish I could attach the photo of what I wanted but whoever is the owner definitely needs better staff cuz this was my 2nd incident and if Im paying my money I should get what I asked for not a bad job then talked rudely too afterwards
