Lynn did my nails for my wedding this past weekend and did an AMAZING job!! She’s been doing my nails for at least a year and has been great. She set aside special time to do my nails and made sure they were perfect. Would recommend her a million times over!!!

Ive been coming to DB Nails for many, many years and the service is always great. LeLe is my favorite technician, her work is superb and she is very nice.

I have had 5-6 pedicures and now 3 gel manicures here, and I have to say I have been extremely pleased with the service each and every time. Some might say that I am picky, but I feel like I just have pretty standard expectations from a skilled nail tech who does not rush.That being said, I have consistently experienced skilled techs at DB Nail Studio and I have never felt like they rushed a job. I can’t say the same for any other nail salons that I’ve been to around here - it’s always hit or miss unless you find one particular nail tech you like and just stick with them.

I literally asked for a Soak Off & I was treated with torture getting my gel powder ripped with nail tips & tools cutting my pinky. The tech said the Acetone would dry my Cuticles but who cares as long as Im not Bleeding. First off Im a paying Customer I wouldnt pull the nails & skin on a dog let alone a Human. Than on top of that the receptionist billed me $20 like the pain & Patient First wouldnt be more. Actually injuries can be prevented when you listen to Customers with compassion instead of rushing. I honestly deserve a refund cause my experience & pain was devastating.

I always ask for Justin, I love his demeanor, professionalism, his patience and care. I had powder nails and. Justin gives his suggestions in helping choose your colors. I told him my anniversary is this month and I want him to do my nails for the occasion. I love DB nails and I’ve found reasons tochange nail salons. DB will always get my service. I started going to DB Nails when they first opened and loved how genuine they were. As they started to grow the owner (Male) has became very rude. My family and I stopped going for years and then decided to give them a try again which went well for a little while until the last time I went. I will never go there again.

I was just asked to leave because once before I was there, they attempted to sit someone next to me, not following social distancing precautions. This time I walk in an the owner literally starts on my nails and then says we can not provide you service. I will be contacting the health department. I am an infection control nurse. I know the regulations back and forth. And I will not be subjected to covid simply because you want to pack people in your business to make all the money you can.

I love this nail salon! Very courteous, very VERY clean, professional and the staff knows EXACTLY what to do in terms of nail care. They also do eyebrows. They have a point system for everytime you come in and the points can be used to save money on your visits.The only nail salon I trust through this pandemic.

I have been to this salon a few times and found my experience to be adequate enough to return, but after my last visit I will not be going back. The nail tech used the metal grater (as usual), except he used it so excessively that my right heel is cracked and the skin is lifting up in 2 places. As he used the grater, I jumped at one point because it actually hurt. After calling the salon to inform them of the situation I received a thats not possible statement, which I found to be very unprofessional and rude.

This was my first time coming. Me and my husband had the best pedicure ever. I also got a fill-in the staff was very nice. I will be back. Thanks again!

The employees and owner are very rude, they did not listen to what I wanted done, their work isnt nearly as good for the price they charge!! Will never go back EVER!!!Also the owner seems like really insecure and wants to do whatever it takes to keep up appearances that they are professional when in fact they are not!

This place is great. Nice and clean like youll read on other reviews and there is not one bad nail tech there! It can get busy but they are well staffed, so you never really wait long. And dont forget you can always schedule an appointment! If youre on the fence about trying them out - just go! You will not be disappointed!

I moved to the area and was recommended to this place a couple times going was very satisfied with the service. I was told I needed a new set spending 65 dollars and within a week they were breaking off I went back for them to fix and another 65 again. TJ fixed them and did an outstanding job but when I went back the manager said he was no longer there and put me with this lady to fill in when I left I had spent way to much in a month. I was leaving and the manager said see you tomorrow as if I was an annoying customer I looked back cocmmented not if I can help it. Way to much money and I dont care for the managers comment. I since found another nail salon and very satisfied with the service I received. I will not be returning here.

Sarah was my nail tech today! Awesome job. I went early to beat the crowd and got right in the chair when I arrived. Usually no waits here anyway. I feel like the prices are good for the service. DB is one of my favorites. Heydi is also a really good tech. Great personality and conversation.

So me and my daughter live going together. They enjoy a well behaved 5 yr old getting a pedi and mani!! My mom and sister now only go there and my dad actually enjoys going in there. Everyone is so nice, it looks very upscale and the wait time is not long since there is so many employees.

Would not recommend this salon to anybody. Very inconsistent on the prices they charge and no matter when you have last had a pedicure done, if you go requesting just a polish change on your toes, they will do pedicure and charge you for that anyway, not the polish change you requested. Me and my daughter have been loyal customers for years, even though they change their prices and overcharged several times. Yesterday was the last straw. They overcharged my daughter $65 for just a fill in with 1 repair and nail art. She was told the 65 included eyebrows but at the register told it was not, THEN charged $45 for the brows that she had already paid for and pedicure when me and her told the staff she only wanted polish change on her toes, (she had received a pedicure recently and did not need that service.)The guy just does it anyway and charged. Robbers that take advantage of people and especially if you have a child with you and especially women of color, and yes I said it! Will never go back.

I went to DB nail studio for a nail repair. I had my daughter (10yrs ) with me and she ask for a pedicure (no gel) . Upon checkout the lady said it was $35 just for her pedicure. I question the lady and looked on the price on the board and her response was because of her height. I had no idea kids were being charged as adult pedicure due to height. I will not be returning for any nail services.

The prices here are on the higher side BUT quality work is NOT...daughter had nails done Friday evening and we returned Saturday to have redone.. nail tech didnt complete requested design and MULTIPLE air bubbles were in each nail he didnt even fix it we waited for someone else. Will NOT return to this place

Chi Chi did an amazing job on my nails, great prices, and the environment is just incredible! So relaxing and tranquil. Theres no TV on in the background showing Maury or some Soap... just perfect.

I’ve been going to this shop on and off for three years since I moved from Seattle. I lost hope when the person I loved left the shop over a year ago, I tried five different techs (who can all give great pedicures but didn’t have the skill set i needed for my hands) but THEN I MET LYNN. Let me tell you! Anything you want, she’ll figure out how to make it happen. I haven’t been this excited about my nails since I left WA. I’ll be coming back to see her over and over and over.

Best pedicure I ever had ! D&b has the best nail techs they listen to you and do a great job they do detailed work and use clean one time use utensils and tools they also offer gel polish and regular polish in every color possible also I love that the salon is always playing great music and the pedicure chair has massage in it feels so relaxing I love going here also bc my pedicure with gel polish last a whole month!

Absolutely love this place! I went in for a pedicure and I was finishing up by the time they were closed. The owner stayed after closing to do a full set for me (took her time with every detail) although I offered to come back the next day! Very personable and super sweet!!

Carson is AMAZING. I get my toes done every month, and the dip powder every two weeks. If I’m unsure about something, she’s quick to answer my questions! She’s also a very down to earth girl, she will talk to you about everything. I even get to step out of my comfort zone of my normal colors, and try something new because of her advice. I love to catch up with her. The facility is clean, organized, and very relaxing...and Michael the owner is just as sweet as can be! Love this place ❤️

I Always have a really great experience when I come to DB Nails! I usually ask for Tai or Carson because they go out of their way to make sure you absolutely love your nails. I’ve never had a bad experience with either nail technician. The environment is clean and relaxed. Highly recommend.

Got ombre done here by young guy. Didnt get his name. I had acrylic removed and this guy trims my nails and tears old acrylic off nails and ignores me as it hurts and I pull away. Did not shape nails or clean up until after layering thick acrylic on. My fingers were so sore the next day. Shows you really dont care about the customers comfort, just trying hurry up and finish or the complete lack of skill.

Michael was so fantastic. I have never met such an attentive and knowledgeable technician/owner. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in his work. He greets everyone who comes in and has taken then time to get to know his clients. I appreciate how well he did my nails, how clean he was and how he made me feel as a guest in his establishment.

The staff were very pleasant and appreciative of customers coming in. The salon was very clean and well kept. They use liners for the foot tub, very sanitary. The tools came out of a sealed, sterile packet. I got the pedicure with the hot stones. The best darn pedicure Ive ever had!!!!!!! I also got my brows waxed. They turned out even and look fantastic. I highly recommend this salon to all. You wont be disappointed.

This is Amy... I have been going here for a couple years. Today I came in with a cast on my wrist after having broke it a week ago! And a fracture to my leg (only the wrist needed surgery)... Everyone was so sympathetic... and caring... making sure I was not in pain... or uncomfortable!They really are the Best!!!

I always go here and I always have the best experience but this time was different I had a different person doing my nails when she sat me down and started she was going so fast and she put so much acrylic on that it was dripping of the nail and under the nail, she but 2 nails on crooked and I had to tell her to fix it other wise Im sure she wouldnt have fixed it when she was drilling she was drilling my nail bed and the tips of my fingers it hurt she wasnt gentle at all and theres still acrylic under my nails, and my nails never properly dried because she but 3 coats of polish and 2 thick coats of clear polish I was like oh lawd I sat under the dryer forever, but the nails turned out cute besides all of that I would recommend going there but dont get the lady I had she was an older women with short hair. If you can get the guy with the tattoo sleeve that will be good because he does a great job .

This place is amazing. Not sure of my nail tech name but he did an amazing job. I live in Norfolk & was passing through glad I stopped by. I believe he was in booth 7? & wears glasses.

Very welcoming place. I got the spa pedicure and they couldnt have done a better job. The nail techs were awesome and very personable. I even had to go back the next day to get 3 of my toes repainted because I smeared them (I didnt sit under the dryer long enough, totally my fault) and they fixed them for free. Will definitely drive the hour from home to have them do my nails every time!

Ive been here a few times. First things first they give great customer service. Great staff. Heres the thing Ive tried to stick with this nail shop but Ive walked out of here not happy more than a few times. My nails are always crooked........I wont. Yes Ive pointed it out before. I guess they cant fix it I dont know. So another place I wont be going again. Ive seen great nails come out of here....just not for me.

I was looking for a nail salon close to home that did dip polish and had a variety of colors. Well Im proud to say this salon is my new favorite. I was a walk in and Ms. Heydi took me right away. She was awesome. Heydi and I hit it off right away. I finally have a new nail salon and a wonderful nail tech.

I happen to have found this salon on yelp because I needed a nail repair while visiting VA. This place had such a welcoming environment, nice jazz music playing, a diverse staff and AWESOME customer service. I was lucky to get the “owner” Michael to render my services. He was such a delight and hoot. VERY knowledgeable in the nail industry and very FUNNY!! Not the typical conversation one would have at a nail salon. Too bad I can’t move his nail shop to Atlanta!! When I come back to visit, I will definitely come back here to get my nails done. Michael has a permanent visiting customer and friend!! I will leave this as my final remarks, when reading negative reviews, know that there’s “3-sides” to a story!! DB Nail Studio is the BEST nail salon in Chesapeake!!

Poor customer service!!! I drive over 45 mins. They had me wait over 15 mins. To be seen. I asked for specific colors that were advertised on the nail chart they did not have it. The guy that did my nails had the worst attitude and put two nails on crooked. I showed him a picture of what I initially wanted he did something completely different. Completely unsatisfied, I was a loyal customer spending $97 a visit for manicure, pedicure and eyebrows but will never return. Highly disappointed in D&B Nails.

I have been a customer for years on Thursday 11/16/2017 was the worst experience I have had at this place Nail Tech was very rude the manager of the store was very rude did not try to compensate me for his Nail Tech being as rude as she was she took my hand and spreading the stuff on very roughly didnt want to do it the way I want it done very disappointed will never ever go back again.I did not agree to that price i was told after she finished thats the way they get you I didnt ask for two times the thickness I just said I needed a little bit more thicker you were rude you didnt try to compensate me any kind of way and your first nail tech was very rude I understand taking up for your nail tech but you also have to look out for your customers which is your money.
