If you dont want to get in a serious car accident, avoid this company!! I was in a turn lane and one of these taxis abruptly merged right into my lane, causing me to slam on my brakes and swerve to avoid hitting him. The worst part: there was no hand wave/gesture from the driver acknowledging what he had done. No hand wave to say sorry. Nothing! It was a complete disregard for not only my safety, but also the passenger he had in his van! If this is the quality of drivers this company has, I would caution you and strongly urge you to choose a better car service. The drivers are clearly unsafe and do not hold your safety in high regards.

We called the night before for a morning pickup for 6 people. Habib showed up perfectly on time with a comfortable van that easily fit all 6 of us and our luggage to go to the Charlottesville airport. He again showed up 10 days later at 10 pm to take us home after our trip. Wonderful, reliable service!

I needed a taxi to go to and from a destination for an interview and my experience was great! **Just as a note, Star Taxi and Habib Taxi are closely affiliated so sometimes one may use the others cab to get you if it means that the other can get you to your destination in a timely manner. After calling Star Taxi, I texted the driver the street address to confirm just in case anything goes wrong. My driver, Hameed was great! Early/on-time, polite, professional. I only needed to travel like 1.5 miles to my destination but trying to do that in heels during morning rush hour was not an option for me. Nevertheless, Hameed did not complain that I was going such a short distance like other cabbies do and took me to and from my destination without any problem.The only drawback I had was when I called Star Taxi it took a couple of rings for someone to pick up and let me know I called Star Taxi. Maybe next time Ill just try Habib Taxi if that happens again. Otherwise, great service!
