I have been going to Fei Fei for a few years although I do not go weekly like many others do. Since COVID I have been making appointments and not just walking in. Yesterday I arrived on time for my appointment and received a manicure pedicure from Janice. She rushed through both so fast 35 min and I was done! Poor quality on both mani and pedi. although I still gave her a good tip. I felt like they squeezed me in but I made the appointment a day in advance. They rarely refuse walk ins which in her defense is part of the problem. People who make appointments end up being rushed because they can’t keep up. I don’t normally complain but I’m very disappointed because this was my go to nail salon since it opened. I’d rather pay more to have a good manicure and pedicure.
Three stars because it’s better than the other local salons.I got a gel manicure and two nails chipped within 8 hours of me leaving the salon. This is without me washing dishes or doing any housework.Within 24 hours, another nail chipped. As of a week later, the manicure is useless. My cuticles were cut so short that it stings whenever I wash my hands, or worse, put on sanitizer.I do think they tried their best with my manicure. It just wasn’t the best quality. But with how expensive the prices are, I expected my manicure to more than a few hours.
We went to get a pedicure which was basically just a paint job. My cuticles hardly got cut, my feet are not even soft, and absolutely no foot/leg massage. And then charged $27 for each pedicure! No special treatment...hardly ANY treatment. The only saving grace was MiMi, the masseuse, who rubbed our shoulders after the very unfortunate pedicure.
Web prices are wrong. The price for a pedicure is $27. That’s a five dollar discrepancy from the online advertised price. They charge extra $6 to remove gel. It all adds up. Chair wasn’t as good as other salons either. Felt like the knobs had no padding over them.
Walked in and asked for a basic manicure and the placed was packed and he asked me if I had a reservation . Said no, all I wanted was a basic manicure and turned me away . Don’t bother to go if your want hospitality. Very rude
I love Fei Fei Nail & Spa! Helen is fantastic! She always does an amazing job with my manicures and pedicures.
It was immaculate, the staff was great and friendly. Mike did an awesome job on my dipping powder manicure. The included shoulder rub almost put me to sleep. I have already scheduled my next appointment, I am very happy with this salon 😃
Good quality service. Like the place, highly recommend.
My daughter and I requested gel pedicures and a powder nail manicures. The pedicures were mediocre; the nails were not filed evenly and the polish was poorly applied with no base coat. The manicures were horrendous; it was obvious the technicians were not trained. The nails were thick and bell shaped. Definitely not worth the $200.00 (including tip) we paid. Will never go back.
Great place to get your nails done! Very clean and affordable prices. No matter who I have had do my nails I have always been very happy with the outcome.
Very clean and good selection of gel polish. Pedicures are decent, but could be improved by technicians focusing more on the massage part that we pay extra for. Too often they seem to be going through the most basic of motions (just rubbing lotion up and down your leg, no real massage techniques) while looking around at everyone else. If they improve that, Ill give them 5 stars.
Clean and friendly place to go. Definitely going back. One of the cleanest nail salons compared to others around
This is my favorite nail salon and the only place I will go! Vegan polish, super friendly staff, and they always take their time to do a great job. Super sanitary too! They use a lot of single use items and also line the basins. For a person like me, that is something I need!
Had a great experience! Clean, quiet, great selection of services and colors.
Had an excellent experience here last week. I wanted to try SNS nails and this salon came up in my search. I called as soon as they opened on a Saturday and they were able to take me when I asked to come in.The salon is nicely organized and clean, they gave me my color choices and took my gel nails off quickly to get started. They do SNS all the time and since it was my first time I was happy to come to a place who was experienced. I loved the process and am in love with my result. These nails are definitely going to last me at least 3 weeks, Im already a week in and am so impressed with how well they are doing. They took their time and did a great job. Im looking forward to coming back!
This salon came highly recommended. I go to New French Nails in fair lawn but I wanted to try Fei Fei. I have to be honest and say how disappointed I was. I got a pedicure and half legs waxed. The pedicure was decent nothing out of this world. They girl didn’t really scrub my feet well enough. It was mediocre. The worst part was the leg waxing. It was by the far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The poor girl didn’t know how to position my legs. She kept placing my leg in odd and uncomfortable positions. She kept saying she couldnt see well. I had to offer positions for me to go into. In the end, I had to ask her to redo several spots. She took about 25 minutes + to wax my legs. The waxing took longer than the pedicure. Overall, I wasn’t pleased. I will not be going back to this salon. The girl who helped me did apologize since I told her I couldn’t take any longer as I had my 2 girls waiting outside. The apology was fine but spending $50 and not getting anything of what I expected was not. I could of been offered a reduced price but it was very monotone and cold feeling. I never intend to bash a business but I felt extremely unhappy with my experience.
Very clean very nice. They do an amazing malicious job mani, peti, gel or regular. My daughter and I love to go together. Ugh... and the shoulder massage while you are waiting for your nails to dry... Go get pampered!
Ive been here many times. This is a very clean salon, with brisk service. Its pretty quiet inside, noise-wise, so its relaxing. Ive had a lot of very good experiences here, and a couple slightly subpar ones with women who were clearly young and still learning. Im a patient person, so I really didnt mind this, but since it is a busy salon with a lot of staff, there will always be a new girl so ask for someone experienced when you make your appointment if that is important to you. I keep coming back here because they are accommodating (my mother and I come for pedicures at the same time, and its never a problem), it is very clean and sanitary, its relaxing, and Im always pleased with the end result. If you like massages, theyve hired in the last few months a woman who is really talented. You get a massage at the end of your nail treatment, but you can also opt for a longer massage, or massage only.
I went in on my birthday dec. 23rd 2018 to get a full set that cost me with gel polish 75$. I didnt mind paying, I will pay for good work. Not even a week later 1 nail broke. Set an appointment and got a refill (that wasnt needed yet) JUST because I was scared of other nails breaking. Cost me 55$ for a refill with gel color. 2 days later another nail broke, went back they fixed it AS SOON AS I LEFT 2 more nails break. Im not a rough person in any such way. I shouldve went back, but I was so upset that this happened again and through out the week another nail, then another. I feel like I wasted my money on this birthday gift going to this place. Each and every nail broke at the smile line. This is not acceptable in the beauty industry. Im so upset and will NEVER go back and will NEVER reccomend anyone to go. So if you like have a sturdy full set of nails, save your jself the trip. Not worth it. Also, as I am a licensed cosmetologist, it does not seem everyone is licensed in there. When I went I only saw TWO licenses up for show when about 10 people working. THIS MEANS YOU HAVE UNLICENSED NAIL TECHS WORKING ON YOU. They can get in trouble with that, I guess I should have known about the service the minute I saw they didnt all have their licenses.
This is the best salon around!
Clean, friendly nail salon in downtown Glen Rock. The prices are affordable and they offer gel, and also Zoya nail polish thats minus all the harsh chemicals. Oh, and a plus is that they take reservations! Saturdays are busy so be sure to reserve your spot ahead of time.
I wish I couldn’t give them a star, but in order to rate them I have to give them the star. But let me just tell you my experience with them, nobody tries to talk to you when you are getting your nails done, they don’t talk much, very rude also. My and my mom have been coming to them for months and when my mom first started going she had acrylic on her nails, and instead of taking off the acrylic they just went over it with gel, so we went there a week ago and when they were giving my mom a new set, mold grew on her nails because they never took off the acrylic to begin with, nobody said they were sorry about it, they just wanted to know who did her nails and when she did it. They also charged us for getting gel color when I don’t think they shouldn’t have even charged us for anything, now because of them being unprofessional my mother now has permanent mold on her nails and I’ve very painful for her. The gel polish doesn’t even last a week for me, they are so cheapy with their products but super expensive. I DONT RECCOMEND AT ALL
Gel manicure chipped the day of and pedicure chipped a couple days after. Expensive for the low quality & it not even lasting a week.
New nail salon in Glen Rock not impressed Gel manicure and pedicure is 56 dollars a little steep. Monday through Wednesday is usually 40 at Janets nails. My gel nail polish chip with ina week I was very disappointed.
