Fantastic manicure! The staff was so lovely. My nail stylist was incredibly meticulous and did a fantastic job. Felt like he genuinely took his time to make sure my nails were flawless. I got a dip manicure. Definitely will be returning!!

I really like the technicians, they are super sweet and really take their time. However, this place is way too expensive. They charge extra fees for everything, even for shaping your nails and call it “specialty shape”!! Unless you want the very basic stuff done, be ready to pay close to $150 for dip manicure and gel pedicure. I can’t imagine the price tag if you want designs, ombré or French…I was there for 3 hours today and wasn’t even offered water. I mean for that price, you might expect a little more pampering. I found the owner to be a little rude and didn’t give enough guidance to the technician who was working on my nails which led to confusion and made me feel very uncomfortable. While I did like the work my tech did, I will not be returning to that salon.Update: I was in no way cold or rude to all the staff during any of my visits like the salon’s reply suggests. I was minding my business and relaxing and even chatting to the techs. And yes, I was told by the previous salon that they used dip for my ombré and I saw them use it, I had no idea they were also using acrylic, so no, I don’t know all the technology behind a manicure. I also didn’t say I paid $150, but it was close to that with the tip. Again, I love the techs, they are amazing and I wish I could afford to tip them more.

I love Lee’s Nails! I’ve been going every 2 weeks for 8 months and I’ve never been unhappy with the results. I’ve had my nails done by multiple technicians there and they all do a fantastic job. They are very gentle and always make sure I’m happy with the shape and color, etc...before moving on to the next step. Thank you guys for always treating me so well! ❤️❤️

Lee’s nails are hand down the best salon in the Charlottesville area. I got a gel pedicure along with a dip manicure and it was awesome. They had a proper procedure to keep their staff and client safe. They take pride in their work and it really shows. The salon is not only clean, but very modern and relaxing. I would highly recommend this salon if you are looking for a pampering experience.

I just moved here and have tried out so many salons before finding Lee’s Nails. The salon is different compared to other salons I have been too. They are diverse, clean, perform high quality services, and lastly they have COVID guidelines in place that makes me feel safe. There are also so many colors to choose from as well. High satisfy!

Had a pedicure done with either the owner or manager. Sat down and 2 other women were already getting their pedis... the lady who did mine finished mine before they were even done and they started before mine. Less than 5 minutes for the massage and she massaged like she was in a race. Priced higher than other salons in area. Not worth $35. Not a good way to acquire a new client. I wont be back

Ive patronized Lees Nails on multiple occasions, prior to COVID19 and during COVID19, and am pleased to say that the only downside Ive experienced is that it takes a little longer between customers as they work to properly clean and sanitize each station - though given the pandemic, Im more than happy to wait in my car until its my turn to ensure that everyone is as safe as possible during these stressful times. Julies team has always worked hard to make each and every customer feel pampered, and they continue to do that during COVID19. Recently moved to Charlottesville and after trying a few nail salons in the area its safe to say Lees is the best. I have gotten gel and dip manicures by various staff members and have been very happy every time! They have a great selection of colors and the staff is also great at matching colors from pictures Ive shown them. The salon is extremely clean and everyone is very professional and kind... overall I highly recommend.

The team here at Lees Nails seems to be like family. Julie did such an amazing job providing relief from my ingrown toe nails. She is the true MVP. I am definitely wanting to try the herbal pedicure on the next visit.

In Charlottesville there are several nail salons from which to choose. The technicians at Lee Nails are thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. Julie is the owner and works right along with the other techs, and Montana is really good with pedicures. Their Covid procedures are reasonable and easy to comply with. I highly recommend!

Had a girl with blond hair do my nails last month and it was wonderful. Didn’t have a good experience with Page in November for dip nails, but a young girl there fix it for me. She was also really good. Overall I would highly recommend this salon for great customer service and good quality work.

This place has all you need and look no more! Cleanliness, check, value, check, quality, check check, professionalism, check....punctuality, check. Julie and crew are great. They do not overbook based on their staffing. You schedule a time, you will be in on that time...not to say there is not maybe a few minute delay, once in a while, (which for me, I need to find a color...and there are soooo many colors that it usually takes me longer to make up my mind!), but Julie runs a tight ship! You will not be disappointed. Support small business! They rock! Never been disappointed....

They were 10 mins late and then told me that a gel manicure would take at least an hour to complete so because they weren’t on time, I had to cancel my appointment and leave.Edit: To be clear I had budgeted an hour for this session but because of the delay, I did not have time to stay. I by no means expected it to take only 15 -30 mins nor did I ever say or suggest that; but 30-45 mins for a gel manicure is complete reasonable. However I was told it would be 45 mins to an hour and they would be 10 minutes behind by the time they actually started.

I went here once but didnt really like the service. The woman on the phone sounded nice when I made the appointment but when I got there the girl who did my nails was not very welcoming. It was very awkward and not relaxing. I got my feet and nails cleaned but when I left there was still some polish left on my toenail and I had to clean more around the edges and underneath my toenails as she didnt really clean them proficiently. I would have spent $40 elsewhere. I wish I hadnt tipped as I had to do more work at home when my nails should have been spotless after going there.

The best manicure and pedicure experience I’ve had in c’ville. Other places just try to crank you through and have actually damaged my nails by drilling too deep. Yes, there a number of technicians that are in training but they take their time and they ask each other for help when they need it because they want to give you the best result. Only gripe is the price is a little up there, but I’m happy to treat myself if these are the results I can get. They do accept walk ins but definitely try to be courteous and call ahead to see if you can make an appointment.

I absolutely LOVE this salon! My nails were in terrible shape due to years of abuse by acrylic tips. I wanted to have my natural nails without doing damage. Julie recommended the SNS dip powder which I love. I can go three weeks and sometimes four before needing to have my nails redone. Now that my nails are stronger and healthier, I am a happy lady. They are professional and work by appointment which Is great for me as I don’t have time to sit for hours waiting for a technician to become available. I can’t say enough good things about Julie and her staff!

I love this place! Everything is clean and professional. The technicians are super thorough and all of them speak English which makes communication so much easier. I embrace diversity and language fully but when someone’s doing something to my body that could potentially be painful I think being able to communicate well is important, plus I think it’s valuable to get to know the person who is serving you (especially if you’re a repeat customer). I first came here for my wedding mani/pedi and was really pleased, so I just went back again and it was the same top-notch service. Highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying this was the best nail service I have received in Charlottesville. They are clean. They take walk ins and appointments. My gel manicure lasted for two weeks, and my coconut and lime pedicure was relaxing and fabulous. It was that good so I made 6 months worth of appointments.

Ive been going to Lee Nails sporadically over the past year. Ive never had a bad pedicure there and have referred many of my clients.The service has always be great! Yesterday there was a scheduling glitch and I couldnt wait for the next available tech. The place was so incredibly busy but in spite of that, Julie kept calm and explained there was an issue with the confirmation.There are several hallmarks of a great business and one of those is how the owner handles issues. Been getting my nails done for 3 years and I went in to this nail salon last minute before leaving Charlottesville after a 2 day trip. The salon could get me in that morning and the technician completely saved my nails after my regular place at home messed them up! Best manicure Ive ever had! I was visiting family in Charlottesville and came to Lees Nails based on their positive reviews and safety/sanitary guidelines they are following due to Covid-19. When I called to make an appointment, they let me know that I will need to call when I arrive to get my temperature checked and masks must be warn. When I arrived, everyone was spaced out which was comforting to see. Everyone had masks on and they had plexiglass that separated the nail technicians and customers. Dori did a fantastic job with my SNS manicure and she shaped my nails exactly the way I wanted them! I look forward to coming back when I am in town!

The only thing relaxing about this visit was that there was no one there. The water was cold, their hot towels were cold, the paraffin wax wasn’t melted, and it took forever.Really unimpressed for the amount we paid.

I happen to come across this nail salon on 29 and decided to give them a try. There was a girl there that did an excellent job on my pedicure. They were clean and very friendly. I also notice that they dont do acrylic but some sort natural acrylic nails. I had a wonderful experience and will be coming back every two weeks for my Mango pedicure. Give them a try you wont be disappointed!

Ive gone to this salon every two weeks for the past two years for gel manicures. There is a certain skill needed for the gel polish to look good and to last and they have it. It comes out perfect every time and lasts a full two weeks. They also have a huge color selection. Customer service is great as well. I moved out of the area 3 months ago and I am still trying to find a salon that does as good of a job as they do. For gel, this salon is the ABSOLUTE best!

My favorite salon in Charlottesville. They are super clean and the place doesn’t smell like your regular odor infested nail salon. My pedicure was very relaxing and they auto clave their tools. I got the coconut and lime pedicure and it smelled good enough to eat. My tech was friendly and very meticulous. I got the dipping powder nails done with another tech and I must say it was the best I had. I am very pleased with this place and would highly recommend Lee’s. They are always busy when I come so I would recommend an appointment to avoid the wait. Thank you for a job well done. I’ll be there in a week.

Every manicure and pedicure Ive received here has been top-notch. The lady who did my last gel manicure did them EXACTLY how I like and was sure to ask me during the service if everything was just right. They were able to fit me in on a busy Sunday and I appreciated their attention to detail.

Walked in with a friend for pedicures and was told they had time for two people at 11, which was in 20 minutes so we decided to wait. At 11:20 the other staff member finally strolled into work and they started our pedicures around 11:30. The woman doing my pedicure had to explain every single step of the pedicure to the kid doing my friends pedicure. We wanted a relaxing spa experience, and we got a lot of nothing. My technician kept stopping my service to explain to the kid what to do and how to do it. If you have to train your staff, it seems extremely inappropriate to do it on a guest, paying full price, for the most expensive pedicures on the service menu. On top of that, the pedicure itself was completely lackluster.

My mom and I were visiting from out of town and looked up pedicure spots nearby and decided on this one. They took us in right away without appointments and were very thorough and polite. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. If this were my local salon I would go here every time.

Arrived at 6:40pm, on a Friday, with my fingers crossed hoping they could squeeze in a walk-in pedicure before they closed at 8pm... I was in luck, they had a 7:15pm slot open! great color choices and fun atmosphere!

I have been going to Lees Nails for over 4 years now and I love them. Ive been other places and I love coming to see my girls because they make me feel so comfortable and invited in. They know me by name and know how I like my nails to be done. Ive got everything done here from pedicures, to SNS, to manicures, to waxing and they never disappoint. I would definately recommend people to come see them and experience it for yourself.

I prefer to go to Lees Nails for my manicures & pedicures because they are, first and foremost, CLEAN. Their salon is spotless. Every time I come in, the technician opens a freshly sterilized bag of tools. This is nearly impossible to find any more. I am terrified of getting a nail fungus, and the care they take to ensure you are protected is priceless. Every technician who handled me, did so with care and focused 100% on my needs. There was no rushing to get as many people through the door as possible. I HIGHLY recommend.

This place is decent but not your traditional nail salon. I think the they could use more practice on SNS dip because my nails came out very cloudy with small bubbles in them. My technician also was not very personable but the other lady in there was very nice and pleasant. I asked alot of questions my time there because i am a very inquisitive person and it was my first time there and every salon is different, and it seemed my questions were taken negatively and answered very sharply without much of a real answer. Again this may just go back to the fact the technician was not very personable. The salon also does not use the plastic sanitary liners for pedicure bowl...it was explained to me that its not a requirement and they clean their bowls after every use.Again, this place was decent, although I was not impressed. The purpose of my review is to simply review the establishment and the service I received.This is a second review because I deleted the first,more detailed, review because the manager replied very defensively seemingly blaming me for how I felt and I do not want to discredit this business or do anything more than let other know MY experience and MY opinion.

Simple pedicure was wonderful cost me about $26, it included lotion rub which I loved and my experience was very relaxing. The atmosphere was great, a good place to de-stress. The staff were wonderful, offered drinks, conversed well.

Fabulous experience! My sns Full Set was awesome and very pretty. My coconut and lime pedicure was also amazing. They have an abundant selection of reg, gel, and dip colors to choose from. The salon is super clean and the air was crisp and clean. No odor smell, which I love. The salon was modern looking with nice relaxing massaging chairs. They offer complimentary drinks during my pedi service which was a plus. I can see why the reviews are so good. Made my next appointment right away. Will highly recommend to everyone.

Just love this place! I came in with two of my real nails cracked and they fixed them for me and reapplied my French gel polish. Not only did they mend the two nails but they also re-polished another nail that a different nail salon had messed up! Great customer service and a clean place of business. Given all the great reviews about this place and recommendations from friends, I was shocked to have had 2 disappointing experiences here. My friend and I had appointments. My friend was seated for a mani 30 minutes after our appointment time. I waited another 5 to 10 minutes before I was seated. I requested a gel mani and my manicurist, which I later found out was the owner, sped through it pretty aggressively. My mani was finished while my friend was still being treated. They were busy that day, and it definitely felt like they wanted me out of there asap. My nails looked good, so I shrugged it off. When I checked out, I was told the gel is guaranteed 2 weeks and if it chips before then they will fix it. It badly chipped and peeled a week later. When I returned, I was told by the owner verbatum we dont have time for you. When I told her I was leaving for vacation the next day, she said she could maybe squeeze me in in an hour. Then she pointed to a disorganized pile of about 200 colors, told me to find my color, and walked away. I decided it wasnt worth my time to wait even longer and left. I expect a lot better customer service and professionalism out of a business and OWNER. Needless to say, I wont be going back or recommending.

I been going to Lee’s for a bit now. I had the girl with the red curly hair in dec and it was ok, but she didn’t clean my feet as well as I like. I went back in feb and had Jane for my feet and Luray for my hands and they were wonderful Highly recommend Jane & Luray.

In Charlottesville for the day, and decided on impulse to get a pedicure, as it had been 9 weeks and another state since my last one. Googled several places and was impressed with the hygiene reports of this one, as I am both a diabetic and a nurse. They were able to get me in right away and Tatiana took excellent care of my feet.Julie worked expertly on my ingrown nails (TMI?) as well. Thanks, ladies!

I used this nail salon twice while in Charlottesville for my wedding. The first visit was with my mom (at her recommendation) a week prior to the big day and I loved it so much that I chose to go back for my wedding mani/pedi. They have it set up so you can easily select a nail color for your toes and a corresponding gel nail color. The ladies there are efficient, talented, and fun! They are also good with children. Definitely make an appointment but they do accommodate walk-ins.

I have been going to Lee’s Nails for almost four years now. This is by far my favorite nail place in Charlottesville! The girls are always so nice and they usually can manage to fit walkins in, althought I would recommend making an appointment. Dunkin Donuts is next door if you want something to sip while you’re getting your nails done! The other place next door is a really good pho place! If you can, request Cierra, Brittany, or Autumn. They are my go-tos! If you can’t request, don’t worry! They don’t have any bad workers. I can’t recommend them enough!!
