I am a long time customer. Great atmosphere, clean environment and always pleasant staff. Abby and Linh never disappoint. My nails last at least 3 weeks!!! Thats dip or gel.

I made my appointment and at the last minute my babysitter canceled on me so I called to see if I could add a princess manicure and pedicure and they were so accommodating! I arrived a little early and they sat my daughter and I down immediately. She enjoyed her first ever mani and pedi, they were so sweet and gentle with her. She was done before I finished getting my dip set and they were nice enough to help put her shoes back on and sit her down next to me. I loved how my nails and hers came out! I cant wait to go back, booking is a breeze, the location is amazing, and they do an amazing job!

I’m not the type to write a review but this was my first and LAST time coming here. My nails are so ugly ... yes, UGLY. You would think that in 2021 they would know how to keep up with nail trends . Thick, uneven and bulky nails just aren’t in anymore . Ladies don’t wast your time and money !

I got SNS here and had a great experience with Abby. My nail lengths were really uneven due to some SNS breaking off and she made them even. Of course they had to be cut shorter but I can see that they’ll grow into the previous shape I had. Plenty of color options and really friendly staff. I loved that Abby tested my nail polish pick on a fake nail so I could see what the color looked like, which I didn’t ask her to do. Great experience and will be my new nail place in CLT. Also, very clean salon!

I get my nails done by Jenny. She is awesome. Very personable and helpful. She is helpful in picking colors and designs that I would like. She always makes sure Im satisfied and can tell if Im not feeling something. Also, when she does my SNS they last month! No chips or cracks! They also serve mimosas, bellinis, and wine! This is my nail spot now for sure.

Ive gone twice now. One of the best nail salons in the area. I never feel rushed. They take their time with you and are very friendly

I had a great experience at Ultra while receiving my pedicure. Thu was my nail tech and she did a great job. She took her time and gave a thorough massage. I was very impressed! They also gave a little Christmas gift which was such a lovely surprise.

I normally don’t like leaving poor reviews but i went in today for acrylics and the lady who did my nails wasn’t pleasant at all and was in a rush so the length of my nails vary immensely and pieces of acrylic are peeling off the sides and other pieces are still stuck under my nails. not sure i’ll come again.

I made an appointment for tomorrow, and I received a phone call at 7:45pm telling me my appointment is canceled because they’re short staffed. So unprofessional and they didn’t give me the capability of trying to at least find another nail salon. I will NEVER go back. If you didn’t want my money, that’s all you had to say.

Everything was excellent. It was beyond relaxing and my mani pedi turned out perfect! Any time I’m in Charlotte this is where I’ll be going!

I have no ideia what kind of polish nail they’ve use, never asked for gel polish nail, just for the regular and I cannot erase this until my nail grows.I’m truly disappointed about it because it can be clear anymore!!!!

I made an appointment for a pedicure and gel manicure for my birthday. They did my pedicure and manicure at the same time, which I guess was fine, but I had the gel lamp on my lap and was fumbling every time I needed to put my hands in it. I was hoping for a full manicure experience rather than having it all done at once. My thumb got all messed up because it wasnt dried enough and instead of re-doing it, she just tried to file it down even though it was peeling up. Needless to say, I left the salon with polish on my thumb nail already lifting. I got the manicure on Friday and its only the following Tuesday and the thumb totally peeled off and my pointer finger is already peeling off as well. Definitely not worth paying $30 for a manicure that came off in less than 4 days.

I have gone to Ultra Nail Boutique for over a year and a half or more! I love each of the employees; my favorite is Peter! I am always happy with the service they provide. My nails always look good, and so do my toes! The prices are reasonable for the quality of service that they provide! I never leave unsatisfied.

So when i got there, the man at the front desk gave me dirty looks. I was like whatever, so i went to get my nails done. He filed them down TO THE SKIN, it hurt SO BAD. I was horrified. Then he did a completely different style than i asked for. and to top it all off, when i asked for water i got a small little cup with FLOATIES in it. STRAIGHT UP BACKWASH. It was the most disgusting experience of my life. Save yourself the time and money and dont go there. I was so disappointed especially since i heard good stuff :(

Ive been going to this location on and off for a year, and I always love the work they do. I just had a pedicure and dip manicure w Amy and she did a FANTASTIC job! Her attention to detail is greatly appreciated and I will definitely be booking with her again.

I had a walk-in and was seated almost immediately. It took a bit of time for a nail tech to get to me but they were busy at the time so that was expected. The nail tech I had was Sean or Shawn. It was his first day and I was his first customer. He worked a bit slower, but given the fact that he was new, I completely understood. He was easy to talk to, had a sense of humor, and was very attentive. I could tell he was trying to make my nails look the best he could. There was a bit of a misunderstanding as to what Id asked for, but that was on my side and Im extremely happy with how they turned out. Id had a horrible experience with the dip at a different place and was encouraged into try it again. Im so glad I did. The place was very clean and welcoming and the staff was very nice. It was a wonderful experience. I will definitely be going back!

Chloe was amazing! I can’t wait to see her again. She gave me exactly what I wanted and took her time to make sure it was perfect. This has been one of the best SNS experiences I’ve had.

I got my nails done here on Valentine’s Day. I came in an hour or so before they closed and they were sort of packed but they got to my boyfriend and I right away. He got a nail trim and buff and paid $18. Way overpriced for something he could have done himself. I got acrylics and the guy who did my nails kept talking me out of doing a design on my nails and having them the length I wanted. It seemed like he just didn’t want to do it. My nails were $40 including the $5 extra cost for the coffin shape. Never heard of a certain shape being extra. I have cuts from the nail drill on a couple fingers as well. Overall, they were super nice and conversational but I will not be returning.

This place is great! Regular, reasonable pricing with friendly service and open scheduling (allowing me to just walk-in)!Out of the two times I’ve been, I have had one incredible experience with SNS and the other, Gel, was pretty rough (the sides of my nails were showing) and I had to ask for another layer to try and fix it.But overall I still think they do good work and they’re always quite friendly!

My technician openly pulled their mask down while doing my nails, turned their head to the side, sneezed openly into our shared air, and then replaced their mask below their nose. No regard for my safety during COVID-19. Save your money, their technicians are prejudiced and will refuse service to men.

I tried several upscale nail salons in Uptown Charlotte and South park before finding Ultra Nail boutique in midtown. I picked this spot due to how much they stress cleanliness on their website. They do a great job, I never have to wait. Free mimosas or whatever else you drink, and they have a reward system where you earn points for future discounts.

Cute little nail bar. Great service. Prices are high depending on what treatment you receive. Small, intimate setting. All the nail techs are sweet and cater to your needs.

I took my daughter with me today to get a pedicure while I also got a pedicure and a gel manicure. I have been before during the week when it was fine but on the weekend this place is a zoo. They didn’t tell us about a wait and then we just sat in the water for 35 minutes! The pedicures were rushed and my daughter’s pedicure was an absolute mess. They charged me $10 for gel removal when I was getting another gel manicure anyway which I think is an absolute rip off. The experience was expensive and extremely rushed. I will never go back here and certainly would never recommend for a weekend day.

I used to come here and see Lynn and I loved my nails every time I left! It’s overall a great place but ever since Lynn left, I haven’t had good experiences. I went in today and while they sat me down right away despite being early for an appointment, my nails are mediocre at best. Mind you, I used to get SNS before Lynn left because she rocked it but I got gel today because I didn’t want to pay a lot if it didn’t turn out well. There are bubbles on multiple nails and there’s polish all over my cuticles. One nail just looks bumpy and just ugly. I won’t be returning. I will be asking for a refund because I really can’t even look at these.

Was interested in going here until a friend of mine showed me a video of one of the workers refusing to do a customers nails because he was a boy! So wrong will not be going here and will show everyone how they treated that poor person!

This salon refused service to a guy, they refuse to paint his nails!! Please do not support this sexist and homophobic salon. Nail painting does not have a gender. Nail grooming does not have a gender.

The guy doing my pedicure literally ripped my toenail off and when i said i wanted a refund he took my money (and my TIP) and threw it in my pedicure water i cannot believe this place

The place was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. However, the guy that did my nails was rushing the entire time. Usually, They would put the glue on the fake nail and then stick it on my real nail. However, he put the fake nail on my real nail and then put glue on top. My nails did not even last a week, they individually fell off like they were bought nails from a convenience store. I set up a nail appointment, so I thought that he would at least take his time and do my nails correctly. The whole thing cost me 50 dollars without the tip. Will not be coming back here again.

Ive been to this location twice and my nails looked great both times. I also love that the drinks are free and the rewards program is great. The reason Im giving this only three stars is that they do not honor appointments at all. Both times I booked an appointment ahead and was given someone else when I checked in. One of those times I had to wait 20 minutes while three people walked in after me and were serviced first. I tried to go a third time without making an appointment- why bother if theyre not honored? and was told they didnt have time for me so Im not going to return because my schedule is too busy for this kind of foolishness.

Awful. Will not return and do not recommend.- staff wasnt ready for our appointments- I was physically hurt when she over buffed my nail and may have cause some damage- our appointments took almost two hours- I was shuffled around from person to person and made to move to accommodate the staff. Then they prioritized other customers which was irritating.- the dip color is poorly applied including inconsistent coloring- hidden fees for manicure on top of the application- poor application of tips for my friend means she has to go pay extra to get them corrected because the technician refused to listen to what she wanted- language barrier among most of the staff who didnt understand the guests, not just me, so only one staff member could communicate with us about what we wanted- staff who didnt know how to use things like the register to check us out or the radio

Do not go here, where employees will waste your time and refuse service if they feel they don’t want to do your nails.

The place looks super cute & modern with a great nail color selection. The person who did my pedicure was wonderful, but the girl who did my nails was rude and rushed me through my appointment. She wasnt letting me cure my nails the full length and when I asked if I could leave them in longer at the end of the whole manicure, she just unplugged the lamp with my hand still in it! She barely spoke except to tell me to take my hands out BEFORE the timer was even off. As a result, I spent $30 for a dull-looking manicure. The place wasnt busy when I went, so she had no reason to rush me out.

Nice decor, good prices, patient and friendly staff. It was hot and a little stuffy as the air wasnt low enough for the 95+ degree day. The decor is nice but appears to be old/worn with stains and discoloration on the white chairs. No massage chairs. They do offer beverages, including alcohol. For the price it is a great deal.

THOUGHT I FOUND ME A GOOD SALON TO COME TO CONSISTENTLY......WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN!!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I called this salon when I was leaving work to see if I could come in to get my nails done; SNS service. The young lady who answered the phone said to come on in though it might be a wait. I immediately drive 15 mins to get to the salon, spending 5-7 minutes trying to find a park, for them to tell me when I arrive they can’t take me this evening. Not only did I waste my time coming over here, but I basically was tricked to come in when they knew they couldn’t provide me with the service I needed tonight. I would NEVER recommend anyone to come to this salon. Such a disregard to customers time!!! If I could give them a half star I would!!! Any other salon would have taken a PAYING customer!!!

This is an awesome place! They stayed late to fix a small problem and they were super nice about it!! They did a fantastic job and everyone there didnt make me feel uncomfortable. I am definitely going back!

If you value time do not go to this nail salon. I have visited this location on several occasions both with an appointment and without and it seems to never fail that I have to wait for at least 45 mins to an hour to see someone.Today was the last chance I was willing to give this place. I was told the wait would be 15 mins which seemed realistic as there was only one girl waiting ahead of me. After waiting for 45 minutes and seeing people that came in after me without an appointment getting helped, I decided to ask what the issue was. The young girl working the front was rude both when I walked in and when I expressed concern about the wait. She told me it was because those people didnt do dipping powder; which I could have understood if I hadnt also asked for a toe nail polish change.Very disappointed and while I know that I will not be back, I hope you get your appointment system and customer service figured out so you dont continue to lose customers.

I just got my nails done a couple of days ago by Giang...and oh my god! I LOVE IT!!! Through experiences in other places, not every tech can apply SNS (dipping powder) correctly. I gave Ultra Nail Bar a try due to reviews, and Im so glad I did. Everyone was so professional, friendly and light-hearted. Giang really did an amazing job on my nails, and he was so patient. This nail salon really created a space of comfort and great customer service! Id recommend it to anyone.

I just moved to Charlotte (like so many others!), and tried this place out. First of all, it’s so pretty and glam - with a sleek modern white and red color scheme, lush faux fur throws and pillows on each pedicure chair, and the most gorgeous sparkly “chandeliers”.The “classic” pedicure service was thorough - which is the most important factor to me! They didn’t skimp on removing dead skin, and they made sure to address any ingrown situation. I know this sounds a bit yucky, but some of you know exactly what I’m talking about!!Amazingly, the cost is higher than South Florida (where I moved from), but it’s the same everywhere I looked in Charlotte, so no complaints.They have a checkin special on Yelp, and a loyalty program to collect and redeem points.I will DEFINITELY come back again!

I have been going to this location (and the one in Ballantyne) fairly regularly for several months now. The atmosphere is great - comfy seats, plenty of space, free drinks, TONS of colors, and I always leave there with my nails looking great. I also love the convenience of online booking and their rewards program. My issue is, I always get the dip/SNS nails and without fail, nails will start lifting /cracking / popping off within 1.5-2 weeks. I have had dip nails done for years and typically they last 3+ weeks - at $40 a set, its too expensive for to have them done any more often than I already do. I am constantly having to go back and get nails fixed in between sets or get them totally redone early which is a waste of time and money. My current set has been on for exactly two weeks and 5 of them have either cracked or popped off, which is unacceptable. I have tried many other places in CLT and eventually always end up going back to Ultra because its a good location and I like the place, but then after a few sets of the same experience it is frustrating and I start looking around again. Unfortunately, I think after I get this current set repaired I will be looking for a new permanent place. Its disappointing as I like this location and all of the benefits they offer, but its not worth the constant hassle of not having my nails last as long as they should.

My favorite nail salon in Charlotte! Linh is my favorite technician and I’ve only been to her over the last year and a half, but my gel manis and pedis are always perfect. They have the largest selection of polish and SNS I’ve ever seen. I love how much Essie they have. Prices are more reasonable than other salons. They have a loyalty punch card for cash and a regular card that offers discounts when you get a certain amount of points. I also love the lotions they use! And definitely make an appointment before you go because I’ve never seen the Midtown location not packed.

DO NOT go here for eyebrows. She waxed off the left half of my brow. When I asked her about it she claimed oh your hair didnt grow there. Um, no. Its gone because she WAXED IT OFF. Will not go here ever again.

It’s Smells so bad In here The fumes are very strong and very concerning because this causes health issues for everyone.I’m very surprised that this is legal, your breathing in so much of the nail polish means that by the time you get out you feel lightheaded. People may think this is normal because it’s a nail salon but wake up people this is very bad and it’s killing you and the workers that are working there.I might as well be snorting paint from a paint can before I come here there is no difference.If that is illegal how come this isn’t

My service today was terrible. I had 3 techs finish my deluxe mani/pedi even though I was the first person in. I started with a great tech, however the manager finished then moved me to a newbie. My work was a mess, nail polish streaking, and didnt receive the service that I paid for. I used to enjoy going here, however Ive noticed that the quality of the service has deteriorated. Not the same anymore so back to finding another salon. :(

DO NOT GO HERE! They are unsanitary and they REUSE old nasty foot tools to do pedicures. I saw a dead rat in the bathroom.

Where do I start? During my pedi two of the nail techs gossiped about another worker who asked Lin (woman doing my mani) to fix someone’s nail but she wouldn’t because it wasn’t “her” customer. They then talked about Drake, and applying for citizenship. Next I sat to get my SNS polish on (it was just soaked before), by the 3rd coat I was confused by how pink the color was. At the end I asked to see the colors thinking it didn’t reflect the sample well, come to find out it wasn’t even the color let alone brand I picked. I came back the next day to have the color fixed for free which they agreed to, seeing as it was VERY wrong and not what I wanted. She then blamed me for not telling her sooner (like I noticed or had time for it to be fixed then) and was extremely rude, after she soaked them and started taking my polish off she stopped and went to do someone else’s mani pedi because I apparently wasn’t worth her time. I sat for another HALF HOUR before someone else came to fix Lin’s mess. I will never come here again. The service is awful. Saw them stop in the middle of several people’s service to wax another client or do something else. I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours trying to get something fixed that should have been done right the first time. If you do have to go here, have Chloe do your nails, she did great fixing mine in a timely manner

I initially left this salon a 5 star review on Facebook, based on how much I enjoyed my visit at Ultra Nail Bar. The atmosphere, decor, free bar and free pink starburst all left me as a happy customer at the time, but it has been 1.5 weeks and Ive already lost 3 of my nails (this set can usually last me at least 3 weeks, strong with no nails breaking)...I got them done for vacation so I havent even been doing any manual work that would warrant them simply popping off as they have. The nails arent breaking from rough play or heavy lifting, but like I literally opened a reeses wrapper and one broke...I scratched my head and one broke...and then for the 3rd, I dont even know how or when it broke. So its not like it was a forced break, because I didnt feel it at all (and when you actually force a nail to break from being too rough, trust me when I say that its a pain that cannot go unnoticed)...so Im quite disappointed at this point, and I couldve gone elsewhere and paid about 40% less, for a set that would still be in tact...I wanted to visit Ultra again, but unfortunately I wont be able to following this experience.

Got SNS and full set popped off within 8 days which never happens. My first time there. Looked pretty but didn’t last. Very disappointed with such an expensive set of nails.
