I loved visiting Rose Nails! I did a walk-in appointment and the women who was working was so sweet to me! This salon is not in the nicest area but I was okay with that. The lady who did my nails was very nice, efficient, and gave me exactly what I asked for. She did not even charge me to take off my precious SNS manicure (I got a regular manicure). She did an outstanding job of cleaning and sanitizing, I felt very safe covid wise. She had multiple sterilization machines for her tools, you were required to wash your hands upon entry, you were required to wear a face covering, and she used hand sanitizer each time she switched between clients. I loved my experience here!

My favorite nail techs salon closed and she moved away and then I found Mandy!! Shes so wonderful! Very artistic and shes quick. Her shop is beautiful too!

Hello all,~this review is long-winded but well worth the read~This nail salon is like no other nail salon you’ve EVER been to, with affordable prices and the actual skill of professional nail technicians. This salon has the potential to be world renowned. The woman who does my nails well, her name is Vee. As she began my manicure I noticed there was a bit of a language barrier so I used google translate to communicate with her. She told me of her country and her family, and how she is so grateful to have a better more precious quality of life here. She wears a smile on her face everyday, and even today she turned me down from getting a new set of nails because one of my natural nails was broken AND she wanted me to wait a week for my nail to heal. THIS is a woman who cares, THIS is a woman who is good at her job, THIS is what I love to see in a hard working woman!I love this place, I will forever be a client for the spirit, the cleanliness, the talent and compassion is just outstanding.Amazing job Vee and rose nails!!

I can say they were really quick but I was not satisfied with my nails at all I went In to get a manicure the man was really rough I kept snatching my hand away and he just kept yanking it back closer to him and when it was done it looked like I could’ve done a better job at home! Told one of the other staff members that I wasn’t happy with them and all he did was put me in his chair and put oil on my hands. Definitely will not be going back and would not recommend to anyone at all

You pay $28 for a pédicure and Nik just run over the bottom feet one time and she is finish. It is a waste of money and timeI will not come back again.

So Hanna is AMAZING there, I say her name because I only go to her. I am NOT saying the others arent good or anything. After the guy that use to work there moved out of town, she was the one that did my nails after him and i fail in love with how she do nails. From sitting there getting my nails done, I have seen other ask for certain people,so that tell me other must be good there as well but Hanna is my go to girl, she gets my nails on point.

I had to get my nails redone after they looked like a child did them in photos 1 and 2.Photos 3 and 4 are what they looked like after being done over again a second day.After less than 2 weeks my nails look like photos 5 and 6.My eyebrows were also crooked and uneven.

I love this place... They have great people with great quality and do great work I definitely recommend this place to anyone Mindy is definitely the best

I try to get a manicure and a pedicure once a month. It just makes me look more professional. Theres nothing wrong with a guy wanting to have clean toes and hands. prices were extremely reasonable and you get a discount if you get the pedicure and manicure. Mindy did mine and she was terrific.

Very bad experience bad work they cut me they left my nails full of glue apart they got angry that I told them they were doing a bad job they were not friendly at all..definitely I do not recommend this place

Rose Nails! What can I say, its an awesome place. Ive been there a few times over the years... Getting pedicures. Yes, guys need a lil snip around the big toe a time or two. Dont forget that dead skin.. jeez! But, the staff has always been courteous and pleasant... I gave them 4 stars because I didnt get my glass of wine this time. I went to this place on 12/04/2016 and it is only 12/08/2016 and my nails already look like this.I initially went because my normal nail salon was packed galore and unfortunately it flew over my head to schedule an appointment. So I decided to look for another nail salon. I was riding around university and decided to get something to eat at the Arbys on University Blvd and saw a plaza near by with a variety of stores and decide to see what they had to offer. I than saw the Rose nail salon and thought to my self. This must be a descent nail salon. Besides, they are located in a great area minutes away from UNCC and it looks kind of upscale and neat. But boy was I fooled!This place was horrendous.For starters when I walked in, instead of getting the normal warm welcome greeting and friendly smiles that most upscale salons give new faces. A small Asian woman whipped her head around and looked at me up and down until finally the words WA YU WAN (What you want) loudly departed from her lips. Baffled by her mannerisms, I shakily told her a paint job for my toes and and a full set. She than said Okey sat down and pointed towards the waiting area. After 6 minutes waiting a young Asian male came and guided me to the Pedi-chair.ATTENTION: do not let him do your nails!He was in such a rush to do my nails that it was disgusting, Nail polish was flying every where and in every directions. Some even got on my ankles and he did not even bother to wipe it off. Before even applying the paint he was drilling my toes so recklessly that I literally had to tell him to calm down because he was beginning to mold the ACRYLIC in my natural nail bed (I get acrylic on my toes). Also he was drilling so fast and freely like a crazed maniac that he got acrylic powder and shavings all over my black slacks in which I planned on going out on a date in afterwards. He literally finished my pedicure in 8 minutes. After that horrendous experience he lead me to the nail station and started on my nails. He slapped the fake finger nails on my real nails so fast that my fingers began to stick together from all the glue he heavily squeezed on each nail. Once he noticed he glued my fingers together he sheepishly looked at me and said I SAWEY (I sorry). After minutes of untangling my glued fingers he proceeded with putting on the acrylic which he sped through as well.I dont know if something was wrong with him but he was flying through the salon, making stuff fall. Speeding through my nails, squeezing glue everywhere, and slapping finger nail polish paint all over the place. Not only was the services horrible but the prices were a little on the pricey side for the cheap acrylic powder and low quality services they provide. I am utterly disgusted and will never go back to them. Stay far away from them. After receiving services from them my nails hurt and the paint is already chipping off on day four after receiving services.You have been warned

Mandy does an awesome and precise job. Mandy also is excellent at taking your requests and allowing for free flow creativity. Mandy took her time and helped me to express my vision all the while creating a unique design. I would definitely refer others to Rose Nails located on University City Blvd.

Went here because they are close to my house and wanted to give them a chance. I got acrylic with a bright mint color gel polish. 3-4 days later my polish is now turning black (I don’t smoke). I don’t know why this is happening but this is a waste of money. A young girl did my nails and I could tell she didn’t know what she was doing. She also left clumps of acrylic under my nails SMH!! & You’re not welcomed when you walk in. They need to improve ALOT

Ive went back to Rose nails twice now and have gotten complex nail designs and they’ve nailed it every time. This is definitely my new go to shop.

I love Rose Nails. The atmosphere is amazing and the technicians are very friendly and personable. Not to mention they do a very good job with my nails, seeing that my nails are very fragile and sensitive at times. Mindy is amazing, as well as the other technicians. Ive been a loyal customer for 5 years! They show their loyalty back to their customers as well.

I used to go here at least twice a month. I just went back today for the first time in a couple of months. I should not have wasted my time and money. I went in for a pedicure and paint on my nails. The girl doing them rushed through the entire job. The polish on my nails were caked on at least 3 layers thick. I told her I wanted rounded nails she gave me square and rounded! I asked her to file down my feet more because they still did not feel smooth to me. She basically ignored my request and told me they were smooth enough what in the hell! They are my feet and Im paying for the service. She left me sitting in the pedicure chair for 45 minutes. I asked 2 different people to fix an issue with my nails because the original girl rushed through it. I was ignored then prompted to pay so they could rush me out. I had to request again for someone to fix my nail. They sent me back to the original girl and she didnt even remove the polish that was already there she added another freaking layer. By this point I was almost late for a dinner I needed to go to and just wanted to pay then leave. I did not leave a tip my total was $31. I get home and check my statement and they charged me $37.20 they gave up themselves an more than 18% tip that they did not deserve! I will NEVER go back there they lost a customer today.

Been visiting for years. They do a great job. It gets crowded sometimes, so the wait times maybe a bit longer without an appointment. I dont mind waiting because I know my nails, lashes and eyebrows will be perfect when I leave. Ive tried other shops before and I always end up coming back.

Theres one girl that does a really good job BUT the lady is charge is extremely rude and unprofessional. I made an appointment.. called to reschedule a time and she confirmed over the phone. I get there and still had to wait for over an HOUR. New managers are needed who are more customer oriented.

The staff is always friendly and makes sure that im pleased with my services. They dont rush you on selecting colors like some places do. They also offer complimentary drinks (water, soft drinks and wine).

I was not offered anything to drink, and both my toes and fingers have scabs from the mani/pedi I received here. I don’t know if the scabs will heal well, so my feet may just look this bad forever. The lady who did my nails attempted to cut my calluses off with a cuticle clipper rather than filing them away, thus resulting in the scabs. She did not even attempt to file down the calluses on my soles. The only reason why I put 2 stars is because the staff was nice, otherwise it would be zero.

DONT DO IT! I went to this salon last minute to get a gel polish removed. The lady that worked on my hands not only used the wrong nail file to remove but went into my nails. My nails are now brittle and weak. They break at the touch of a finger. I have dents from where she used the polish remover to break the seal/layer of the gel and its easy to tell she was running it really hard against my nail. I didnt notice how bad it was till I went under a different lighting in the salon. Then, she had the audacity to charge me for horrible service. I spoke to the manager and showed her my nails. She tried to fix it by using nail file and I almost lost it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My nails are now ruined and I have to wait till they grow out before I can get any work done on them.

My daughter have gotten her nails done for at least 4 months here. NEVER A PROBLEM of course she went to a certain young lady. My daughter is only 15yrs. but wanted her nails done before the Holiday . She got called by the young lady whom said she was the manager( if only she waited on the usual lady) . This lady didnt do what she ask for and when she question her she claims for 35.00 this is what you get. Mind you my daughter been coming her for 4 months and getting her nails the same length. Be aware of this shop due to who running it (the I going to do it like I want LADY) and you will pay! Dont go!!!!! They have no type of customer service skill and no customer satisfaction . Ask about policy for customer NONE What you get you pay period

The only person to go to here is Brian. Everyone else is sloppyy. Just made the mistake of allowing someone else to do my nails and I wish I waited for Brian. He’s thorough and neat. My nails look awful right now 🙁

Dont go here! Its a waste of money. I asked for long, square, narrow acrylic nails and they gave me short, stout nails - the exact opposite of what I asked for. I wanted to take the nail file and shape them myself! They looked wonky, like I did them myself rather than get them professionally done. They also took twice as long than other salons all for something I didnt want. I wont be going back.

If you are planning on getting any type of wax service here you might as well not waste your money.Last minute, I walked into this salon. I asked if they offered waxing services and they said yes. Weird thing is their waxing prices are not listed.When I asked how much for my eyebrows, upper lip, and chin it almost seemed like she was making the price up as we spoke.Even though thier prices were higher than other places I decided to give them a try since I was already there. Worst mistake I made.First of all the lady did seemed very inexperienced. It almost felt like I was getting waxed by a friend at home.Thier wax is not good quality or they don’t know the correct temperature to keep the wax on. Many times she pulled before the wax was ready. My eyebrows ended looking mediocre.I was at least expecting okay service, but it’s below acceptable.

Unlike most I appreciated how fast they got you in and out. However, I got my nails done yesterday and the acrylic has already chipped. On top of that they charged me 3$ to file my nails down...I will not be going here again.

I love this place Im always given wonderful services n they r personal...they know i love leopard n incorporate it n my designs every time!!!! I highly recommend everybody going there...they are clean n great with everything from nails 2 lashes n waxes visit them u want b disappointed trust me!!!!!

Went there yesterday Mandy is great Ive been getting my nails done for 15 years and this by far is one of the best the only thing is I could say they really need complimentary wine lol but over all great job!!!

I only tried this place because my nail tech stop work to take care of her family. So I am very particular and picky when it comes to the pink acrylic that goes on my nails. It has to be sheer and transparent. The man that did my nails told me and assured me that the powder was going to be sheer / see through once he buff the acrylic out. He lied. Bubble gum pink with my skin tone... heck no. He also could not shape or file. I have multiple cuts on my fingers. And my thumb nail looks a hot mess with a mountian of acrylic. Then he stepped aside gave me to Kim to do my designs. She is awesome with her designs but couldnt give me a price qoute. I repeated the amount behind her. She is like yes. It turned out to be much more And I wasnt offer anything to drink. :/ butchered, uncomfortable, and in pain. If i could give separate score the bald guy would have gotten no stars. Kims nail art skills are amazing, she would have got 5 but to be $30 away from a price qoute is unfair.

Their prices are little high but the work is terrible my nails were incorrectly filed to the point were polish came off the side of ALL my nails. This made it impossible deal with sensitive things like lace because I kept putting holes in them. I received a gel fill in which is so suppose to last longer as it does every time I get it. With that being said I dont understand how and why the acrylic is lifting from nail already and its only been a day. I also got two repairs and one of my repaired nails had a too small nail glued on which makes it extremely plainly and tight. Overall their customer service was good just their work is terrible. Good waste of $25.
