Excellent customer service!! I really couldnt ask for more. I went here for some repairs to my engagement ring and decided on Custom Jewelry Lab based on their reviews and it was a great choice. Their prices are reasonable. The young lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me. I did need a small diamond replaced and once the diamond came in I went back to the shop and they got everything done that day, very satisfied. I also was able to get my ring set detailed. Very pleased and my ring set came back to me looking beautiful!!

These included garnet earrings from a dear friend, diamond earrings from my grandmother, and sapphire and diamond earrings from my parents on my 21st birthday. I had been gifted a few family diamonds from my inlaws, and I was looking to have them set as a custom pendant necklace for my wife. I met with Vanessa and showed her the stones and asked her for a few ideas. She sat down with me and sketched out some great concepts, and we quickly converged on the right design. Lee at Custom has made several pieces for me over the years. The first pieces were gold copies of items I already owned in silver. One piece was particularly difficult because it was a very small (3/4 x 1/2) working abacus to which each tiny bead had to be individually added. Everything came out beautifully!Lee also gave me a great deal on the gold. He showed me the market price, how much he would have to pay and how much he would charge in comparison to other retailers.Based on previous experience, I was confident in going back to Lee to have him design and build a much more complicated piece - a broach in the shape of a ribbon with raised gold lettering and encrusted with tiny, pink stones. Lee showed me several designs until we though we had it right, had a wax model cut so I could get an exact sense of the size and look of the piece, and finally cast the piece and set the stones. It took some time to complete, but I was happy to wait given how much input I had along the way and how willing Lee was to fine tune the design until it was perfect. It is more beautiful than I imagined and every time I wear it receive several compliments.I will definitely use Custom again. Lee is a great artist, very reasonably priced, willing to work with his clients, and truly wants to create beautiful pieces that match the unique vision of each of his clients.

I highly recommend Custom as the place to go for custom delicate jewelry work. My fiance took his grandmothers anniversary band to Custom. With their advice, he picked a centerstone and had it added to the band. It is an absolutely gorgeous ring, and needless to say, we wouldnt have trusted this family heirloom with any old shop. They even made a custom wedding band to go along with the engagement ring. It is a nesting crown for the engagement ring and the two rings fit perfectly together. Lee Lally has been designing and building jewelry for a long time. Over ten years ago, he designed custom wedding bands for me, so when it came time for me to find, design and purchase a diamond ring, my direction was easy. I contacted Lee and loosely described the type of ring I wanted, the size of diamond and how I wanted it to appear on my girls hand. In no time, he had located a highly graded, 2.13 carat diamond, came up with several settings & band designs and even had some cool ideas of how we could engrave the band. Soon after, we agreed to combine his ideas with a few of mine. He quickly rendered the technical drawings and we were on our way. Keep in mind, I live in California so most would think that it would be impossible to create a beautiful ring while taking into account so many variables, but he was able to do it within 6 weeks from the East coast. I received the ring a few days ago and its absolutely stunning! He did an excellent job for me ten years ago, but in my opinion, his work has only gotten better. I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends in California or anywhere else in the world. Lee is by far, one of the most honest and creative designers Ive encountered. Hes resourceful, skilled and is really easy to work with on all levels. Custom is one of the best kept secrets in the jewelry business!

Not only did Lee and Lindsay capture the essence of my design, they built upon it in tasteful ways and gave me plenty of advice to ensure it would be as beautiful as possible. They were communicative and answered all my requests, including having several prototype rings 3D printed on short notice, and rushing engraving so that I could propose on time. They were also very upfront about costs from Day 1, and there were no surprises there. When my fiance proposed, he used a family ring that his mother passed on to him - a gorgeous emerald that I love. However, he didnt want that to be my every day ring (emeralds are soft and more prone to be damaged than other stones). My father bequeathed to me his ring which he got in India during WWII.Several years ago I snagged it on a ladder and it broke in half. For years It was kept in storage for I could not find a jeweler with the expertise and the confidence to tackle the restoration of a piece of such inestimable sentimental value.....until Custom! They advised me without pressing or judging. They melted another gold band into it for strength, restored a stone, reset another stone, and fitted it exactly to my finger. I had been lusting after the sunflower ring for months and was lucky enough to have been surprised with the order by my mom! Custom was incredibly nice to her on the phone. I had to go in and get the ring sized (no additional cost for larger sizes either!) and they said itd be done in about 3 weeks. Not even a week and a half later the ring was ready and it fit perfectly and looked amazing!

I had the ugliest cocktail ring with a gorgeous emerald in it that I wanted to have reset. Kate came up with the most amazing original design, and Lee made it happen. I was a little picky about what I wanted, but they worked with me to make it perfect. I get so many compliments on that ring, that they are currently making me earrings to go with it. I recommend them without hesitation!

I cant say enough about how positive my experience was getting my engagement ring designed at Custom. Lindsay was the designer on my project, and I feel like she truly, truly listened to every detail of what I wanted (true to the inspiration piece I showed her, reworked elements from two family rings I provided, low profile so as not to be in the way at my job, etc. etc. etc.). I was also really touched by her enthusiasm for my project and knew shed give the design the care and attention it deserved. This piece is beautiful, unique, and exactly what I wanted. They are really receptive to design and budget concerns, and they are very quick to answer any questions you may have before, during and after the process and sale is complete. We first tried Custom after reading great reviews. Lee has done a fabulous job for us in repairing and restoring some of our jewelry, and more recently, using the gold and diamonds from little used pieces and settings to make spectacular new ones. Lee was able to print a facsimile of the new setting on a 3D printer - very helpful in allowing my wife to visualize the final product. The staff is welcoming and sincere, important since it takes time to build comfort and trust in a jeweler. Very happy with Custom.

In my search for an engagement ring I went into many stores and jewelry makers. Every single one of them made me feel overwhelmed and uninspired. Then I decided to check out Custom. From the first meeting, to coming up with a few initial ideas, to selecting the stone, and finally to the finished product I felt I was always in good hands with Lindsay and Lee. The diamond came off of my engagement ring so I needed a place that could help me get a new diamond in my ring and still keeps its character. Custom worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. My old ring with a new diamond and new setting is gorgeous. In spite of the fact that the ball got dropped after my first contact due to some unexpected changes at their store, they provided me great service. A true sign of excellent service is how a company handles a customer when something does not go the way its supposed to. They were more than helpful and got my ring done earlier than quoted. Great work, great people to consult with, and a beautiful final product. This is definitely a great place to go for a special piece of jewelry!!!

Custom took time to design and create the perfect set of engagement ring and wedding bands for my fiance and I. We had a bit of trouble with the engagement ring as it turns out during the casting the metal got contaminated so the prongs holding the diamond broke a few times too many. Lee, at Custom, took time to resolve the issue and casted a whole new ring for me to ensure the contamination issue is a thing of the past. It is great to have a local jeweler stand by their product and make things right. Each communication during the issue was treated with respect and caring of my ring and the very sentimental diamond used. We even dealt with this issue after we moved to Ohio - so all the communications were fast and easy through email with Lee and Lindsay. Thank you!

Lee did a terrific job creating the vintage-looking setting for my wifes (then fiancees) family heirloom diamond. He captured our vision really well and then was very helpful in making sure the fit was perfect. Well definitely be coming back in the future.

Lee and my experience at Custom were amazing. I had a custom engagement ring made and it was very easy to someone who doesnt know much about diamonds or jewelry in general. Lee educated me in diamonds and had a broker bring samples for me to pick out and he put together an amazing piece. My fiance adores her new ring and if you want to do you girl right go to Custom.

I am over the moon about the ring my fiancé had designed for me. My ideas were extremely non-traditional. It even required them to find a new lapidary to cut a hexagonal stone. They were able to source the stone, have it custom cut and set, and it is absolutely the most gorgeous ring Ive ever seen. They were so helpful, approachable, friendly, and they were able to have it finished in much less time than I would have thought possible. Cant say enough great things about them!

Lindsay designed my dream engagement ring as well as my wedding bands and they are everything I ever wanted!We live in the neighborhood and I remember walking by custom one day, when my boyfriend suggested we pop in and have a chat about a prospective engagement ring. Lindsay was the first person that greeted us and we hit it off right away. As I was describing what I might want my ring to look like, she was getting so excited and picked up on my style right away. I was lucky to have my great grandfathers european cut diamond for her to work with, which made my engagement ring all the more special. Lindsay was patient with me throughout the process, meeting with me multiple times to make small changes to the prototypes until I had it just the way I wanted.I cannot sing the praises of her and the lovely people at Custom, enough! When I went into Custom I was unsure what to expect because i had only been to the typical mall jewelers. My fiance knew exactly what she wanted in the ring but the other jewelers we had gone too could not make the ring nor did they have the interest in assisting with what she wanted in a ring. We found Custom online and set up an appointment with Lindsay and Lee. Lee was very welcoming and gave great feedback on what we presented to him. Within minutes we already knew we wanted to work with him. Lee consistently communicated with me and was making sure i was up to speed on the completion of the ring. He provided photos and specs of the ring making sure it was exactly the way she wanted it. When i got the ring from Lee I was blown away with the results. He took an idea that my fiance had in her head and made it reality. She could not have been happier.

This place is fantastic. I had a picture of an engagement ring that I wanted for my fiancé and the diamond that I wanted to be the center stone. All I did was give them the picture and the diamond and they did the rest. In only a short amount of time the ring came out looking exactly like the picture if not even a little better. The staff at Custom is also amazing. It was one of the easiest experience Ive ever had working with a jeweler.
