Tim and his staff turned my grandfather’s vintage Shrine ring, my grandmother’s solitaire and some diamonds from service pins my grandfather received while working for Liberty Life Insurance, into this beautiful ring. My son and Tim went to college together so Queen City Custom jewelers was a logical choice. This ring was actually 50 years in the making . The rings were lost, held hostage, pawned and finally my children purchased them and gave them to me for Mother’s Day. My grandfather’s desire for me to have a ring made has be fulfilled. My fiance and I had a custom engagement ring created using the center stone from a family ring and we couldnt be happier with it! We were able to make a one of a kind ring in about 6 weeks for a reasonable price with someone we felt confident was dedicated to bringing our vision to life.From the beginning Artem was very helpful without being pushy. We showed him photos of rings to model it after and he estimated the price range based on that. He created a couple of CAD options for us to visualize what it would look like and made many little tweaks to the computer models until it was perfect. Next he made a wax version and set the center stone in it to try on and make sure it was perfect before creating it out of metal. The end product was just what we asked for.

We went to other jewelers and always felt like we were being sold something even after telling them we weren’t interested. Plus all their rings looked like different versions of themselves. I brought a watch in here to be resized. They did a great job, very fast, and for a very reasonable price. A week later, I decided I wanted it adjusted slightly, and they got it set to my comfort level and didn’t charge me anything for the repeat visit. Definitely going to be my go to shop.

I had two rings that I needed sized. One of which I knew was going to be difficult because there’s an etched design on the outside which is platinum and engraved initials and date on the inside in gold that take up a good majority of the inside of the ring. They were able to size both of them and made the ring with the etching look exactly the same. You would never know that it’s been sized or altered and they did it at a very fair price. Plus both people at the front were very helpful. So happy with the work, I’ll be going back for any future jewelry needs.

This place is special. I bought a nice, inexpensive wedding ring online, but it was too large. I walked in and they were very informative and honest about how resizing and certain precious metals worked. Then the resizing process began: I have an awkward ring finger and these poor people kept having to re-size and plate my ring, but they always made me feel welcome. Not to mention, they were very fair on pricing —because it took multiple visits and adjustments to finally get the ring to fit my finger. Bravo And big Thanks to Tim and Erin for excellent service. We will be back!

Was in a hurry to get wedding bands for me and the wife. Tim one of the owners made sure to get us what we were looking for at a fair price and had it overnight delivered to ensure we had our bands for the big day. Not only was the front end handled so well, Tim just recently called me a week after the transaction to ensure we were both happy. He was able to change the mm size for my wifes band and round the edges to her liking all on the house. Highly recommend these guys for your jewelry needs. Bought an engagement ring from Costco, and came to see Tim to make us a matching wedding band. When he looked at it he advised us that clarity and color of the diamond were pretty far off from our certificate. Long story short Costco gave us our money back after investigating our claim, and Queen City Custom Jewlers ended up designing and building us a brand new, matching ring set (engagement ring and wedding band), from scratch. Love this place! I needed a local jeweler for a few things so decided to check it out. They cleaned up my Grandmothers old ring which looked awesome when they were done. They also sized a ring for me and did quick work for a reasonable price. Lastly my finger was irritated from my wedding band and engagement ring so I asked them to clean and size them thinking that was the only issue. Tim said he was happy to help but that looking at my finger I might have an allergy to the metals. He didn’t want me to waste my money on something I might not be able to wear so recommended I get some allergy tests first. Depending on the results there were different options so he wanted to make sure I did what made sense for me..and my wallet. Very honest and they have done GREAT work so far. Highly recommend!!

My engagement ring is PERFECT! My fiancé ordered a ring, it was shipped and badly damaged (not from QC custom) But the stone was still intact. So the amazing owner/jeweler gave my fiancé some options and designed a beautiful ring! The original ring wasn’t meant to be. But this one IS THE ONE! Rode around for 2 days from jewelry store to repair shops trying to get some help on what i thought was a simple resizing. They all stated they couldnt do it because of the size and undercarriage of the ring. I walk into this place they were able to get the job done within the same day. I went in originally to see if they could fix my smart watch (they can it’s just going to take longer which is great by me!) While there I asked if they could fill in letters on my bracelet and Tim did it he also replaced the battery on an older watch that I had since I was a kid in about five minutes! I seriously recommend these guys to anyone! I recently went in with my great grandmothers engagement ring and wedding band from the 1950’s. It was in horrible shape, however; I was looking to return it to its former glory! Seeing as this was the only thing that I had left of her, I was genuinely concerned to leave this ring with just anyone. That concern was gone the moment I started explaining to Tim how important this ring was to me. He took his time, was so knowledgeable, and told me all the things that would need fixing due to the age and lack of maintenance. He then took the wedding band that was still in “ok” shape and cleaned it and just WOW once it was completed! This made me so excited to see the final product of the engagement ring that needed SO much love. It only took about two weeks for it to be completed. I was so shocked when I saw it for the first time! I have a hard time believing it was this shiny and beautiful when she first got it! I’m SO thankful to Tim and his team! He truly restored something that can now continue to be passed down.

They carefully set the diamond into the setting to ensure that light hits the diamond in every angle which made a HUGE difference in results to making it more brilliant effect.NOTE: I purchased an emerald which isn’t as gleamy as other shaped diamonds.At the end, it feels great knowing I had a custom ring made for something very sentimental versus just selecting it off a display and comparing it to 100’s of other rings inside at a larger local dealer. Price was competitive but definitely reasonable. Surprisingly I actually paid slightly less for a better diamond. I would have paid more just for the experience and service! She said “yes”!!! And hasn’t stopped looking at the ring for the past several days!

I came into the store to have two very old pieces of jewelry restored. Tim was so knowledgeable and explained everything they needed to do in great detail. Even after the old watch wouldnt work he gave options of how we may be able to get it up and running! I will definitely be bringing all jewelry needing repair here in the future.

I had a Balfour class ring I needed resized and I didnt want to have to wait 5-6 weeks to ship it off to Balfour and have them ship it back. I was able to walk in to the store, have them figure out what size I needed, and do the work, all within 30 minutes! Also - not sure if this was a byproduct of the resizing but the scratches on the underside of my ring from falling a few times were also buffed out! A fantastic experience and Im glad I trusted them with my ring.
