Ive been looking forward to having my engagement ring redesigned and Id heard great things about Allens Jewelers. Karen and Lauren are exceptional. Theyre so warm and welcoming and incredibly knowledgable about jewelry design. Lauren listened carefully as I described my vision-taking notes and sketching what would ultimately become my custom engagement ring. She asked great questions and shared ideas I would never have thought of but were instrumental in the design process. I dont have words to describe how ecstatic I am with thismasterpiece. Allens Jewelers has been my familys go-to jewelry store for anything important, and now I really understand why. I was nervous about the process of looking for an engagement ring before I started, but I knew when I walked in and started talking to Lauren that we would be able to find something perfect. They had a fantastic selection of rings and Lauren really took the time to understand what I and my now-fiancée were looking for. She asked important questions the whole time and I never felt like she was pushing me one way or another, just showing me what options were available. Lauren had expert opinions and knowledge that she was happy to share about every part of what goes into each ring, from the cut and quality of the surrounding diamonds to the makeup of the metals. I still cant believe how easy or quick the entire process was to get an engagement ring that is absolutely perfect for us. We will definitely be back any chance we can get. I found Allens’s Jewelers from a google search and went to get a necklace engraved for my sister. It turned out amazing!! It had to be sent out but the necklace was back in 3 days, which was very fast. (I went to other places and was told it would take 2 weeks). Karen was very helpful, she made me feel welcome and she really knew what she was doing. The price was very fair and i had a fantastic experience. Plus they have a really cute dog. Allens Jewelers is fantastic! I loved working with Karen and Lauren. Me and my Fiance came in for custom wedding rings and they nailed the design perfectly! My design was Harry Potter themed and my fiances was West Point themed. The pricing was good as well. I highly recommend coming here, especially if you have a custom piece of jewelry in mind.

She was great with communicating with me throughout the process of making my rings. After speaking with 6 different jewelers, it was an easy decision to go with Allen’s Jewelers. They had the best prices and were willing to work with my budget. Karen was so patient and worked with me until the rings were exactly what I wanted them to be and they came out amazing!! I recently purchased an engagement ring from Allens Jewelers and have only positive things to say about the entire experience. I found Allens Jewelers by googling Charlotte jewelers and am very glad I went in.I worked with Lauren and she made what I thought was going to be a stressful process into an easy and enjoyable experience. Lauren took the time to explain and point out things I should be looking for, answer tons of questions, patiently show me different diamonds until I found the perfect one (I think 9 in total) and give advice. The first time I met with Lauren I described what I wanted the ring to look like and Im happy to say it came out absolutely beautiful and is exactly what my fiancé wanted. Both Lauren and Karen showed great expertise and I cant recommend Allens Jewelers enough.

I have recently found this shop! The staff is friendly, service is prompt, and the selection is very impressive. My first interaction with this shop was trying to replace a watch band. Though we could not locate the correct size band (old watch that I refuse to part ways with!) I received great advice on how to seek out the best solution.While there, I was lucky enough to strike up conversation with Karen, who showed me an extensive selection of Opals and Sapphire that my wife would die for! She was gracious enough to educate me on the varying shades of Opals, so I now have new ideas for birthdays and anniversary gifts!This shop may be a bit off the beaten path compared to some of the other independent stores in town, but well worth the effort to find.

I traveled from San Francisco to visit Karen after hearing about her store and the experience working with her from a close friend. To be clear - she blew all the competition away across all the spectrums that are important. Buying a engagement ring from her was a great experience that left me feeling better educated to make a decision than ever before.I indicated to Karen before my flight into Charlotte what I was looking for along a variety of cuts, clarity, carat, and color and budget. She selected a half dozen stones before I arrived and worked with me for 3 hours after she closed on one weekday and then again spent time the following evening after her closing hours with me again reviewing everything. She took all that time to break down each characteristics of the stone and we also reviewed everything under a high power microscope - of the half dozen or so jewelers I visited in California, none would do this, nor did they offer much of a comparison between stones. Karen takes the time to get the client ready to make a decision - at her store or otherwise. She never tried to get me to make a decision, despite me being in town only for a few days on a business trip, and just told me to stay in touch if I decide to go with one of her options. We left it at that and I called her the following week to discuss additional details and then told her a day later that I would go with one of her diamonds and the setting I liked.I felt she was entirely transparent and honest with me - again - something you do not get from luxury item sales experience very often. She is fully certified from GIA and AGS, a rare combination, and that education showed in how we worked together.I would not hesitate to recommend her store to anyone in the Charlotte/North Carolina area as well as those flying in from out of state like me from San Francisco. If I ever buy another piece of jewelry or upgrade my diamond she would be first on my list to contact.
