I have worked for TEKsystems twice because they are a great company!!! And in between the times when I moved on; I still kept in contact with some of the TEKsystems partners because they really became like family.

So I took the time to carefully look at other reviews but that been posted and compared it to my own experience. My recruiter, Emily Richard is absolutely the best both in professionalism and in being serviceable. The company is top notch as far as I am concerned. I do not need a recruiter to treat me to lunch so I can feel warm and fuzzy. I prefer the recruiter to be straightforward and candid, whether the news is good or bad. That has been my experience so far with Teksystems, very transparent and responsive to any request or concern. While it is true that experiences may differ depending on the individual recruiter you are dealing with, it is not fair to cast a blanket statement on an entire company for the shortcomings of some. No company is perfect but neither are we. Have reasonable expectations. You want the best recruiter in the business? The staff here are non responsive and leave you to your own devices once they get the commission dollars from placing you. Would much rather work fte for clients or work for Signature consulting or Collabera. Once the contract ends will seek out a better place.

My experience has been very unprofessional. Constantly attempting to get in contact with my recruiter regarding a position, however there have frequently been extremely delayed responses & now suddenly zero contact at allIn my opinion, I would recommend people steer clear & work with those that actually respect your time

As many others have stated, they call you for positions and say theyre going to get back, but you never hear from them. The national recruiters strong-arm you into accepting any position as long as its financially beneficial to them. They leave you in the lurch once your project ends. There are better recruiting companies in town!

Teksystems found me and placed me in the best job Ill ever have. They were extremely up front about the role and helped me make an informed decision that has significantly impacted my life in a positive way. For all the really unnecessary negative reviews you have to do your part and make sure you are up for the role they are telling you about, they cant read minds.

If I had the money to sue for emotional distress, etc I WOULD! Either the person in charge miss lead the recruiter, the recruiter is just great at miss leading potential candidates, the company they represented miss lead them, etc. Nothing like receiving an email stating “Congratulations they selected you”, then taking you out to lunch promising the position was legit and the next day being informed there was no position along with someone hacking into your emails removing the details of the interview, congratulations letter and invite to lunch. Almost feels like some sort of unknown discrimination. The cover up being “We’ll attempt to find you a new position... What about this one” then immediately ghosting you. Once more if I could or if I can investigate further I will. Strong advice = Watch your back, document in unique ways, find resources or make sure to ask the right questions confirming there is a legitimate position available.

People seem to care, if you have an issue with your paycheck it can take a long time to fix would give 3.5 stars. They were good and quick it was mainly the manager of the company I went to that I had an issue with at the end of my contract.

DeHaven Matthews was my recruiter and was able to get me a job with one of the best tech companies in the world. After working there for a couple of days two of my colleagues said that their recruiters took them out to eat or gave them a gift card for getting the job, well mine didn’t do either. My shift was second shift and I would get home around 4am, my first week on the job DeHaven said he would call me to see how I was liking the new role. He called me pretty early in the morning, I thought to myself maybe he has a lot on his mind and forgot I get off of work late. Nope! I noticed that most of the time he would call me a couple hours when I just got off of work. Weeks later DeHaven calls me to tell me that I have pretty much been fired and at this point I am very confused. One, I was going to get my work badge the next day. Two, no one pulled me aside or called my recruiter (from what I know) to tell me that I’m not doing my job correctly. Since NC is a no fault state they don’t have to give a reason to fire me. The main reason why I am giving DeHaven Matthews a 1 star review is because he said he would help me get back on my feet as soon as possible and he did not deliver.

Called twice within a one week period. No return call either time. Poor customer service. Im giving my recruiter fee to a company that appreciates it!

Wonderful experience with TEKsystems Charlotte group. They truly go above and beyond. Will continue to work only with them in the future.

What this company does is illegal. They reach out to managers directly to try and get secret details on you. By law the employer is only required to give very specific data. TekSystems uses data from you social media to reach out to anyone they can. They also lie to you and use your data for their collective resources. Then if an offer if it ever comes is low balled. They try and profit the difference. There are way better contract services. If you have to deal with this provider stay away from Darrius Sellers and Julia Schindler.

I filled out all the detailed paperwork and drove to Charlotte several times and my contact placed me on one job and after that I cant even get a call back when I see jobs that are in my specialty field. I have called and sent countless emails and I havent heard a single thing back from them. The only reason i gave 1 star is because half a star wasnt offered

Other reviews here seem mixed, but I can say my experience here has been amazing. Emma was my recruiter and she along with many others on the team helped me land a position better than I could have imagines. I pass on my thanks and advise anyone reading this to know that Teksystems has the resources to find you an amazing position and the loyalty to help accellerate your career. If you work with them and put forth the effort to guide their search theyre number one priority is matching you with somewhere youll feel at home.

Excellent contracting firm to work for. 2 years experience contracting through them, very professional. Highly connected in Charlotte. They do really well finding work for skilled IT professionals.

They call you, talk to you, tell you theyre going to send an email and then you never hear from them again. At least thats my experience.I have talked with several recruiters from this company. It seems like Tek Systems just has a bunch of little kids with no life experience running around hiring a bunch of other little kids with no life experience who are good at lying on their resumes.I know industry people with 15 years experience who dont have all the skills listed in some of these postings. But a 25 year old does? *raised eyebrow emoji*

This recruiter lied to me in order to get me to lower my rate. When I found out later about their deceit they refused to pay me the rate I requested and found me with everything they had to avoid any rate increase. Evil!

I am not satisfy from this company because they just waste your time. Thats it. They cant find any job even the simpler job. Just Just Just waste the time... I dont prefer this company to anyone. If you want to waste your time to find a job you can select this. If somebody wants to waste a time and very interested to to waste a time you can choose them... they are the worst company in the US and WORLD. They give your personal information and do the paperwork for u and in the next step you have to you have to sit sit sit and waste your time instead of find your favor job...

If you want to waste your time you can call to this company and waste your time with them.you know why? Because they tell you we will call you 2 weeks 3 weeks later, after this time, nothing,nothing,nothing. They just waste your time to waiting their calling back to you.they just take your important information, account information, social security, and get the test from you for complete your application, but they could not do something for you.please do not call them to find the it job.

Terrible experience! Stay away at all costs! Upper manangement are liars and treat their own people like trash. No wonder the recruiters are miserable.I’d give them a lower score but it wasn’t possible..

I have had the worse experience with this company since October of 2015! I have been offered 5 different jobs and didnt have not one interview and Im very qualified for each position they advised me about! The communication is terrible and I will never deal with this company ever again! If I had a choice I would give them negative stars!

Jesse Keeney at TekSystems is a great recruiter. I was hesitate to leave my FT job to go to contracting but she was all over everything. Talked to her almost everyday and she found me a great job. Other contracting firms would go MIA after submitting me for a job. Not TekSystems. They will do everything they can to land you a job.

Nice recruiting agency. Kierra Brown is very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are in IT, Tek Systems and RHT are going to be your two best bets in Charlotte.

Wow. I thought their Maryland office was terrible until I had an interview with Shareif Alvarez for a job with Apple. He was very young (maybe 18) and clueless about Information Technology, actually lied on my resume to try to help me get a contract job through them with Apple, fluent in ebonics and barely speaks English, and highly unprofessional. He rudely remarked towards the end of our interview that I should have brought 2 forms of ID like his e-mail said; however, (Im going to go off the subject of Shareif Alvarez for a minute) his e-mail also said that parking would be validated and I asked the lady at the front desk for validation. Oh boy. The Caucasian brown-haired lady rudely yelled at me We never validate parking on the first interview! Maybe the second or third interview we MIGHT validate but no we DO NOT validate parking for the first interview! These were her exact words...... Anyways back to Shareif Alvarez- I e-mailed him my birth certificate, ID and SSN Card and that still wasnt good enough to make him happy for my background check even though everything he needed to perform it was included on those documents and in the e-mails we exchanged (maybe hes just too lazy to fill out the forms? hmmmm). These people know nothing about true IT work and will play games with you and waste your time and energy (and money since they dont validate parking). I would never work for TEKsystems and its very sad that large reputable companies like Apple work with these hacks.Edit -- I forgot to mention this - They offered me $19 an hour for a Network Operations Center position with Apple doing Tier 1, Tier 2 AND Tier 3 work along with additional roles using Linux, UNIX AIX and IBMs Tivoli Storage Manager. In the DMV area you would get at least $40 an hour for this type of work.

Prefer H1Bs and wil downgrade you if a USC.

These people are liars and dont have it together .. my husband worked there .. and the recruiter told him it would be a year contract and he would help him get a job once the end of his contract was coming ... Well it ended up being 2 months .. and they told us a week before . The recruiter could of cared less my husband was without a job and didnt even bother to answer phone calls or return them .... So If you want to get screwed over then please call up teksystems

Nice people but kind of misleading I went in for a interview for a certain position after all was said and done i left with information for a position that was less pay and no where near what i applied for.
