Rent a car, online reservation, on July 22, 2021, when I picked it up the car had a bad smell and was dirty both inside and outside and when we did the inspection the manager said he would clean it, I was short on time so I asked if I could take another vehicle with the same characteristics, there was a vehicle, but when he ask a lady, who works there, she said no because she would use it for the weekend. The guy told me that he would vacuumed it quickly, I told him that I could take it to the car wash and I would bring him the receipt, he refused but told me that when I return it they would give me a certificate for $ 50, I was in a Rush after wait for them so long so I agreed. The car had nothing but 20 miles gas left. When I returned the car and asked for my certificate, nobody knew nothing about so they said no.

FYI This rent a car from Hertz is inside the hotel DOUBLETREE by Hilton. Service and attention is great. Theyre very professional and fast.

I will never go back here they did not prioritize my safety, health, or the cleanliness or overall didnt meet the level of business (Covid-19 Regulations) I would expect for any professional Booker he was eating (This was the heavier guy) was mad that I wanted to change the vehicles out soon as I looked and the cars are all busted up nah and didnt care about how the vehicles where maintenance cause it was very very poor and distasteful and shocking when doing business the overall satisfaction was poor and I was very displeased if I could have given no stars I would have dont go here!!!

I was only worried what would be the worst that can happen, reading all the reviews. I had my booking confirmed for a 5 PM pickup, but these guys closed early because they don’t like to work. Hertz did not update this on the system and when I even tried calling this agency, they never answered my call. They take really long breaks and are not available on the phone. Please avoid this location.

I usually use Enterprise but had to go with Hertz this time around. My experience was terrible. I made the reservation online and when I showed up they werent able to find my reservation. They were able to upgrade me since the car I requested wasnt available which was completely fine and I was on my way. However, I returned the car the next day then LATER got an additional charge for $100 to my account and no release of my deposit! I called the local store and whoever filled out my contract, applied the wrong dates and closed out the contract improperly leaving me with $400 worth of charges for a 1 day rental. The worst part is the people at the store were not apologetic and not helpful at all. They forwarded me to billing and I have now been sitting on hold for over 30 min. This has been way more trouble than what it was worth. Ive never had any issues with other rental companies but the lack of professionalism and assitance that I recieved thus far over a mistake made by the company is disappointing. I will not be a returning customer.

I had to rent a car because I got in an accident and the service could not have been better at this location. I admit I was nervous because of the reviews here but they have turned it around. Darian was so professional and bent over backwards to make sure my car was perfect. Friendly service and they even gave me a cookie! Didnt over charge my card and I would recommend this location for anybody. Thanks Hertz!

Called for an insurance rental after an accident. Was told that I could come in to pick up the rental the following morning. When I got there I was told they had nothing and that I should not have been told that they do. Girl at the front did not even try to be accommodating and failed to even make eye contact. Very unprofessional. Do not go here!!!!!

Reserved a car with them and when I arrived no one was in sight, was told to call the phone number.When I got someone on the phone and told her that I was there for my rental she immediately said we have no cars. I said that I had reserved one she said well we were going to call to let everyone know but I cant help youThis was on April 6,2018Just very unprofessional and will never go there again

This company will extort your money and not communicate clearly the costs of the rental. It’s overpriced costing nearly 3 thousand in cost over the course of less than a month. The company is horrible and I would recommend that no one rent through hertz. If you want to utilize a cost effective rental company Hertz is not the business

Despite declining the extra rental insurance, it still ended up on our bill. I called Hertz and asked that they refund the insurance as we were totally unaware of it being on our plan, and the car was returned undamaged.They said No, you signed for it, its on you for getting duped by the rental agent.

If your insurance provides your hertz rental coverage please don’t go to this location. I’m on the phone trying to make sure State Farm does not recommend this location to there customers ever again. I was also charged for gas that I didn’t use.The car was picked up from the collision center for all I know the guy that picked it up “Uber” it around for some cash.Gentlemen gave me the name Jacob, but I’ll be callin back for reference on this.I will go through enterprise and hertz will lose my insurance provider if I can help it.

Dont book a car here, horrible service We booked a full size care by HERTZ in advance for our trip to the Smoky mountains. We booked especially a full size car since we had a lot of stuff to bring and we wanted to use the car in the mountains. When we wanted to pick up the car at 10:00 the lady from the HERTZ office, (her name was Estee) told us that she only had compact cars in her float. She only wanted to offer us the compact car instead of the full size care (Where we already paid for) with a 20$ discount.We were upset since we could not even use a compact car for our trip. The office lady Estee was super rude, didnt showed any understanding or effort and was disrespectful in her way of acting. When we asked to talk to her manager she told us she was the manager and that there was no way to help us. She also lied to us that she called us in advance the same morning but we didnt had any missed calls.Afterwards we had to find last minute another company by our ourselves and payed 200$ extra and had a few hours delay for our trip. Not a nice start of our vacation!!!We went to AVIS, at Hilton in Charlotte, which we can recommend. Super nice service and kind, helpful, respectful staff!!!!

Very unprofessional location. I was given a rental car with 3/4 of a tank of gas and returned it with 3/4 of a tank of gas and was charged $58.22 for a gas charge. I called the location and they claimed that the tank was on full when it was not and would not refund the money. I called corporate and they would do nothing As well. I asked for the managers name at the location (895 west trade st.) that I was speaking on the phone with and he laughed and hung up the phone. So unprofessional!

My insurance covers having a luxury rental car and at this location they didnt have any cars for me to drive other than a less than luxury compact hyundai accent. car selection here is non existent.
