Earlier this year, around January (sorry very late to post this) Colby and Jerome did a phenomenal job with the demolition part of my water damage repair! They were extremely efficient, professional and got the job done while keeping me sane during a very stressful time! Colby was so positive throughout the job and assured me all would be alright! We had ERX install new gutters on our house. Tim, Alan and Saul showed up on time and were very professional. They cleaned up once they were done and you could not tell they were there. Very easy to talk to and answered all questions, took time to do a professional job and made sure we were satisfied before leaving. Tim also made a follow-up visit placing additional sealant on several downspouts. Very happy with these guys and would recommend them.

Replaced and Installed new fascia boards, wrapped them in aluminum, and new gutters. Tim, Allan, and Saul did an outstanding job and was a pleasure to work with. ERX was a contractor for LOWES for gutter guard installation and they quoted me the best price. Megan was prompt and courteous and made sure that the scheduling was being proccessed and updated me. The day came and they were here couple of hours early, which I didnt mind and Tim was really professional and answered all the questions I had. He also explained if any issue arises, what I needed to do in the future and explained their warranty process. Overall a pretty cool and calm guy with politeness. His other partner who helped (sorry forgot his name)was also quiet but polite and got to business and completed the job within 3 hour which they quoted and cleaned all the gutter, made sure that the drain was unclogged and checked the roof too. A very hardworking crew with friendliest personality. Defenitely recommend for gutter guards.

My wife and I have been in our home since 98....new home. The back of our home gets full sun, all day. The seal on our bay window dried out way back when. There has been moisture between the panes, which has not let us enjoy our windows. Having gotten a nice tax refund, we punched the button and decided to replace the center / side windows. We were referred to ERX by USAA. Ian and Brandon were Great to work with in laying the ground work for our new windows. My wife was home for the installation. David and Dalton were equally Great!!!!!! We are REALLY ENJOYING seeing our yard with crystal clarity for the first time in YEARS!!! We have to be honest, though...we did this for Beau and Nuzzles (our 14 and 4 year old kitties.Thanks ERX. Next project is a small roof repair.

I had flood damage to my house last year and ERX did a great job of replacing the damaged drywall, removing any mold, and painting some of the walls. They also replaced the back screen door in my sunroom. Damon Rooney was the project manager and he was very polite and helpful and readily answered any questions I had. The whole crew was professional and very thorough in their job. I would definitely recommend ERX.

I am very pleased with the the fast efficient job...Our whole school building was flooded and just one call and they were there right away. The water was extracted quickly and dehumidifiers and fans were installed... Very little damage from the water...They did great...

We had a grease fire in March 2018. The kitchen was totaled and the rest of the home had soot all over so, we had to replace a lot of the drywall, most of the flooring, cabinets, and the stove. ERX said the job could be completed in 6-8 weeks. It took them 7 months!!! We had 4 Project Managers throughout the process. One would leave and the new one wouldnt know where to begin. They had a guy come put in mosaic tile and did a horrible job. The whole thing had to be replaced with subway tile instead AND the drywall had to be replaced in that area as well. I came into the house one day to see how things were going and found a little kid playing with my things and his mom eating fried chicken on my kitchen table with a few other ladies (I kicked the out). The disrespect was out of this world. I told the PM and he smirked. When the kitchen cabinets were done, the PM said I owed 3K because I went over budget. I asked him to give me an itemized breakdown of where the money went (I knew how much we had). Thats all it took for him to say disregard, there is no balance.Before the cold months rolled around, I had Morris Jenkins come out to inspect the furnace because I didnt trust ERX inspected it. The rep found insulation inside of the furnace casing and found 5 gas leaks!!! If I would have turned the heat on, it would have been disastrous. The rep took pictures of what it looked like up there and I was floored. The PM had nothing to say and paid for the repairs. When the repairs on the house were done, the electric did not pass inspection. ERX had to go back in to fix it. Seriously.Because our insurance company had to pay for us to stay somewhere else FOR 7 MONTHS, our claim was WAYYY bigger than it needed to be. I would never EVER recommend this company. It was the worst experience ever.

ERX never misses a beat! I have worked with them for a couple of years and they have always gone above and beyond to get our issues resolved. What I love most is their response time and how well they get the job done. They are driven and always looking to better their company. I have seen them grow and am glad to have a restoration team I can count on.

They came out to some of our units after a water flood. During the process of removing the wet flooring, the temp workers stole items from several of our units.The temporary workers stole items from more than one unit. They also appeared intoxicated. Some of the missing items included alcohol. It was a mess and awful. The police came out, just a complete circus.I don’t think they should hire temporary workers because they don’t care and will never be seen again- and they really don’t have interest in taking good care of your home and belongings.

Had a mold issue in my crawlspace from water issues that became an air quality issue within my home and caused my entire family to get sick. Called Mark Hampton and the Emergency Restoration Xperts and they responded very quickly! Did a full evaluation and had a proposal within the same day, they also led me in the right direction for indoor air sampling who came out and did an outstandingly thorough job identifying our indoor air quality issues so we could get them remediated. The staff at ERX was excellent. We had a flood I out home due to the bad storms going on. Someone left a business card I our door the next day so we called. They were at the house that night. The mitigation team was extremely helpful and friendly. My mother is elderly and hearing impaired so it is hard for her sometimes but they spoke so she could here and made sure she understood everything. Then when it came down to restoration we got a great project manager. Evan was the best. He is a great asset to the company. He helped us get the house back to normal as quick as he could. All of the worker were considerate and informative. This is a great company. Would recommend ERX and Evan to everyone! Thank you all !

We had a pipe burst in the ceiling in our kitchen and flood other rooms also. We called ERX and they were at our home very quickly. They cleaned up everything very quickly and took time to explain and take care of all the problems. They were very professional and informative. They did such a great job with the clean up that we used their restoration team for the rebuild. They also did a great job and used quality contractors. All was done in a timely manner and the work was quality. All the people we we worked with were great. If there were any problems or questions they were taken care of quickly. If we ever have another problem i would definitely call ERX the first thing.

Drew and ty were the two gentlemen to come to my house and remove mold that I had. both gentleman were very professional with me throughout the whole process. They stayed in contact with me daily about the job and the step by step process. They even went a step further with me by asking how was there overall experience, me being a customer and here that just wowed me. I give both guys a 10. Agree with other posts that the work is not great and they are only interested in getting the insurance money. Watch the project closely becaues they will not do all the work but still want to collect on the insurance money.

We had over 30k USD on water damage, unfortunately ERX did not do the mitigation, they took care only of the restoration. Evan was our project manager, he went above and beyond to help ease our process. He even help us get in contact with the company who made the mitigation because we were being ignored on some of the damage they made. Evan got it all straight up, very supportive, responsive and punctual. VERY PROFESSIONAL.

Would not hire this business again. They say one thing at your house, next day say something so different. And take so long to get your house back together. Still waiting for them to do something. Still cant use the down stairs.

They did a great job repairing storm damage to my roof. While they were on site I had them also take care of a long term issue Ii had with improper gutter drainage. They were prompt, courteous and did a great cost effective work.

I wasnt the one who called them, it was the plumber who broke my pipe, but I couldnt be happier with them. It took 3 months, but they fought the insurance company to get my house fixed properly.The entire crew was professional, concerned, skilled, prompt, and dedicated to getting my house back to as good as new.I wouldnt hesitate to call them again, I just hope that I never have to.

Great experience with the team members that came in the middle of the night after our house flooded. They were very polite and respectful and worked very quickly. I gave 4 stars because I needed a quote on a portion of the repair but never got a response. I believe this is because I didn’t choose ERX to complete my entire repair and wanted them to do a portion of it. After several emails back and worth, I was ultimately ignored. :( I understand if the job was too small for them to care but at least give me the courtesy of a response and explanation. Besides that, great experience with the customer service women and the young men that did all the labor :)

This company has been the worst. They were contracted to do siding and paint to of our condo buildings. They sub contracted the work out to people who worked half days and extended the 2 week project out three months. The work was never completed and nobody at ERX cared. Single coat paint, uneven everywhere, no prep work, and the building looks embarrassing. Trust, they will not take pride in what they do and are poorly run with people who just want to make a buck.

ERX was was phenomenal to work with. They assigned a project manager to assist with everything. Our PM, Cody was fantastic! He took a a very stressful situation and made it completely stress free!He came prepared to every meeting or discussion. I had a lot of questions and he was always ready with an answer and exactly the right level of detail.I explained my timeline and sense of urgency and he jumped in immediately. He coordinated with the vendor so that in our very first meeting we could hit the ground running with selections. From there he never lost steam. He met every milestone and commitment on time if not in advance.He was exceptionally professional, polite, and empathetic to my situation. He went above and beyond and truly knocked this project out of the park!!Thank you ERX and especially Cody for turning this stressful event into very positive experience!!

After 8 months of trying to work with this company to repair our floors, we just gave up. Personnel changes so much nobody is aware of what is going on and hard for customer to keep up with who is doing what work. If I could have given 0 stars I would have. Very disappointed in the minimal amount of service provided. They will leave you hanging.

Ian Baker and the ERX team worked wonders on our home. While we were attempting to sell the property we located water damage stemming from improperly installed vinyl siding. The damage was extensive and involved removing vinyl siding, brick veneer, 2 windows, damaged sheeting, affected stud and then replacing them all with new materials.From the very beginning the process was simple and straightforward. I met with ERX at the property and explained the issue, reviewed the damage, measurements were pulled, and the process of how the repair was to be made was explained. It took less than 48 hours for ERX to have the repair plan and estimate emailed to me for approval. The entire process up to that point was straightforward, no pressure, and explained in detail.Once the repairs started I spoke with Ian on the phone at least once a week. The updates were timely and I was never left wondering what the remaining timeline was for the completion of the repair work. As anyone who has ever had to deal with demolition and construction projects can attest, not all timelines given are accurate and can often change for a variety of reasons. When the inevitable “bumps in the road” happened, I was quickly informed and the nature of the delay was explained in detail. The delays affecting my particular project were well beyond the control of the ERX team (no one wants to have the side of their house open for a week of rain, and no one can help how long it takes a third party to make custom size windows and doors) and were communicated to me quickly and professionally.To long; Didn’t read: Ian, David, Brandon, and the rest of the ERX team were professional and knowledgeable. They did amazing work on a pretty extensive job, handling all the work from “the rooter to the tooter” with amazing quality. EVERYTHING was clearly communicated and my wife and I NEVER felt pressured or uncomfortable. I cannot write enough good things, if you have something come up don’t hesitate to give ERX a call.

Cant say enough positive things about ERX and their personnel. I have had many experiences in the Charlotte area that required restoration services, and can attest to the high quality of service and professionalism provided by ERX personnel. Our on site provider-Ryan- was courteous, helpful and responsive. He answered or obtained answers to some of our more technical questions, and proceeded to complete all relevant work with speed and efficiency. Based upon my experience with ERX, they would be my first call, if I had any future needs for restoration work.

Contacted ERX for emergency water clean up on a piping leak in a commercial facility. Within hours they were there and had drying equipment in place. The dry out and treatment took 48 hours and there was minimal business interruption with the noise from the fans. If you have a need for water, fire or smoke damage please save yourself some time and frustration, reach to the great team at ERX!!!!! Job Well Done!!!

One of the worst experiences of my life. I had to be work with three different project coordinators and communication was horrible with two of them. Project that should have taken two weeks is at six and counting. Work is good, when they show up.

The original crew who came out were timely and efficient in dealing with our emergency.However, the repair and restore crew were uncommunicative and actually seemed to feel that this job was too small to concern themselves over. So, I contracted with others.

This review is the for KERNERSVILLE, NC ERX Company. The absolute WORST experience I have ever had. They were recommended to me by my insurance adjuster and could not have been more off in doing so. The initial meet and make promises went well but they immediately overlooked some big things that had to be put back in the budget at a later time. Every single job these people contracted out for had to be repeated TWICE. Hired some crew to put up a garage door, lay brick and do some sheetrock. A two year old could have laid brick better than these guys. One of the guys even fell into the brick wall! Even worse than their sorry job, was the fact the the project supervisor tried his best to get me to agree that it was acceptable! After the brick fiasco, the garage door they installed broke the first time it was raised and lowered. Every part of the garage door was installed incorrectly! Although the house was not livable, I spent a great amount of time there so that I could supervise everyone working there. They are a complete JOKE and should not be doing any work on any home or business. Would have given them a 0 but it was not an option!

I wish i could give ERX a negative 10 stars this is the worst company to do business with. It started around the end of March when we contacted ERX about a leak under the sink, the company sent a contractor out to remove the box under the sink and the cabinets to fix the leak remove the mold and to dry out the space. That particular company did an excellent job, but it was after when all hell had broken loose! ERX sent a person to our home to give us an estimate of how much it would be to build a new box and replace the cabinets that was removed, and when the work was going to begin (it had already been 10 days since the mold had been removed and the leak was fixed). A week later (now a month had gone by) a project manager came to our home to give an estimate and pick up a deposit since he claims he couldnt begin the work order without a deposit paid, after he received the deposit he then tells us that he cant give us an exact starting date, because he has numerous large projects (wait what the hell did we just pay the deposit for? An imaginary work order). So now Im beyond angry the last thing a client wants to hear is that they arent a priority and it had already been over a month without the use of my kitchen! Two weeks go by and we hear nothing from the project manager, we had to reach out to him thats when he tells us that our original cabinets were thrown out and that it will be hard to find an replacement due to the age of the cabinets. He then tells us he needs to come by and get a sample of our cabinet to find a possible match, now that another piece of the kitchen is missing two more weeks go by and we still hear nothing we are now over two months with a partially demolished kitchen. We reach out again and voice our disposition and someone is sent to put the drywall up another week and a half goes by and the project manager is still not communicating with us. We had to call and speak with the most unprofessional corporate office these women tries to make it seem as if the project manager is his own boss and no one can do anything about his laziness and lack of professionalism! We ended up demanding a refund of our money and had to hire Baxter Cabinets to finish the mess that ERX left us in.

If you get Ian Baker as your project manager, you are in GREAT hands with him and his crew!

Home Owner and Insurance Companies BEWARE!I used ERX for smoke remediation damage in my home 9/17/18. No one could get to my house to start the work until 7 days later. Initially they tried to save me money, which was great…BUT the solution offered wasn’t going to get the smoke out of my house so I worked with insurance company to pull approve a more thorough cleaning/remediation. I helped add and get approved over $10k to their billable services. No problem, right? Wrong!PRETENDED TO DO WORK: A part of the smoke remediation was a full HVAC/A-coil clean-out and filter replacement to remove all smoke scent since my house sat for a week (minus air scrubbers) before the cleaning remediation began. I came back from vacation to discover this was not fully completed, despite the assurance the job was completed and I (plus my Insurance) was billed in full. I find this very dishonest. How can you bill for services in a remediation job and never complete? Home Owners and Insurance companies should beware and carefully check all invoices from ERX for ACTUAL completion.I HANDLED DUTIES THEY WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR: An aspect of the xactimate pricing tool all remediation companies use to quote these jobs is for “client management” which includes insurance negotiation and handling of the claim. I basically did that for ERX. Since I helped negotiate the loss, had to work out details of coverage which ended up increasing the billable total for ERX, etc. (not to mention catching them trying to cheat my Insurance by billing for services not completed and holding them responsible to complete), I asked ERX to partially waive my deductible (little more than $700 on a $12k+ job).HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION: When I raised my grievances and asked for the partial deductible waiver (little over $700) I was told on 11/30/18 by Megan S***** via email that she would discuss with Howard the owner. I never heard back until I got a Collection Letter with notice of potential LIEN ON MY HOUSE on 1/11/19. 45 days after I was promised a direct returned phone call via email I get a collection notice with a lien threat!I would not recommend and will try to spread the “buyer beware” warning as much as possible. Insurance Companies please take note! Double-check your invoices with Home Owners!

I loved working with Walter, Howard and the ERX crew! True professionals. They worked for my condominium and helped out tremendously.

Company hires inexperienced people that do substandard work. Very disrespectful, ignored what we asked them to do. This was an insurance claim so was told regular contractors would not take an insurance claim job.

ERX Was very attentive to our needs when we had a water problem in our bathroom, however less than a year later when we had problems with leaking they did not honor their poor workmanship. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Walter was a huge help. I was expecting a huge headache but with his assistance my recovery process was simple. Sewage stinks!! :)

This company is not paying their bills. Warning all contractors. I know of three that have never been paid or been paid short.

We experienced changes in personnel, constant delays, lack of communication, and careless mistakes. We were miserable throughout the process.

ERX has been FANTASTIC. I had a 220 gallon aquarium fail and it dropped 220 gallons of water in my basement and garage. ERX was at my house within 2 hours of calling them, and they went to work immediately. They removed all of the water and damaged materials and drywall. They set out dehumidifiers and fans to dry my structure and followed up with me every step of the way. They are completing the repairs today, and doing an excellent job. They took charge of a horrible situation and made it bearable for me. Professional and responsive from start to finish, and I recommend them without hesitation.
