This review is about the moving portion of my renovations with Jenkins Restoration. The very first phase was the removal of my home contents to another location so that repairs could begin. Jonathan Walton is the Contents Manager and he arranged a crew led by Aaron who were on time, efficient and moved all of my furniture with ease and without issue. There was a crew of 8 individuals and they went right to work at ensuring my furniture was safely moved. The crew worked as a team and carried out the dining room, living room, two bedrooms and an office. Aaron completed the move in two trips with his truck. The entire team was fabulous; cannot say enough about how well they treated our furniture. In addition, they were thoughtful of our pets and were very kind and made sure they were secured in a room to not disrupt the move. Christopher was part of the moving crew and he was very gentle with our 2 dogs and cat (who was not very keen on all the activity).Maggie and the packing crew came in mid-way through the move and helped pack up any items that my husband and I did not get to. Everything was transported safely and nothing was damaged. The entire team was pleasant and made the experience a great one. Top notch is how I rate the whole experience. I am hoping that the flooring repairs go as well as the move. Thanks to Jonathan, Aaron, Maggie and the entire crew. Great job!!!!

Jenkins Restoration was very responsive from day one. Setup move out of furniture, painting and drywall and replacement of all flooring due to water damage. Daniel Edwards was the project manager and all employees were professional and did a very good job. The work was finished as promised. I would highly rate this company for any and all restoration needs. Thank you for a job well done!

I had water damage from my washer. A different company fixed the plumbing aspect. Jenkins came in to redo the flooring in the laundry room and the carpeted areas that were damaged(loft, stairs and part of a bedroom) and paint. The PM assigned to my claim was Daniel Edwards. Daniel was EXCELLENT! He was very responsive(even after hours) and professional. I also felt he went above and beyond his job duties. If I had any concerns with some of the contractors, Daniel would call them and get everything resolved. He was always willing to help with no issue. Super friendly everytime we spoke on the phone. Overwall, I highly recommend Daniel at Jenkins!

I really wanna thank you guys for taking such good care of me and my family . I happened to be in the hospital when we had a water damage that flooded the entire up stairs and down stairs of our house . My insurance company recommended Jenkins restoration. What a blessing that was . I called them on a Sunday morning at 7 am and at 8:30 am they were on site with a crew . Everything in our house ended up having to be moved out due to the extensive repairs that needed to be done .Johnathan Walton the contents Mgr and Jonah the water remediation Mgr held my hand through the whole process from start to finish . The treated our house like it was there own .

I had a pipe burst in my house and we started with an insurance claim. I had someone I was going to call for repairs but the adjuster said to call Jenkins. They were out to my house four hours later at 7PM and then back again at 8AM the next day.They were responsive and professional. The repairs were spot on and they acted quickly.I know that a restoration company has to be quick on their feet but this was all about customer service and helping me out. I really appreciated Mike and his team in construction and all they did to help out with the repair.I hope you dont have to go through repairs from a busted water pipe but if you do, call these guys. They were very helpful.

I was pleased with Jenkins Restorations from day 1. They were all very professional and friendly. I was also very impressed with how punctual the company was for every appointment we had scheduled. I was never disappointed and they were always right on time. The work they do is great. I would definitely use again.

Only gave 1 star cause it wouldnt let me not put a star. Terrible work steer clear of this company even the manager didnt do anything about the workers leaving wet insulation in my attic but charging me as if they removed it. Then charging for landfill but took nothing off, so how is there a charge for that??

We had water damage In our home Jenkins Restoration was recommended by our insurance company they came out immediately to start repairs and that was it. They damaged I would floors up and downstairs stated that they were make repairs or replace the floors it has been over 60 days and the repairs or replacement hasn’t been done having return phone calls or anything I would not use Jenkins Restoration if you want your damage is repaired or replaced

They only took out a very small portion of the wet damage. Then they hooked up big blowers and something to grab the moisture and let it run for 3 days without checking it once. They then rushed in and grabbed their gear without checking to see if everything was dry. My insurance adjuster found so much stuff that was still soaked in water and by the time the builders came in to fix the damage, mold had started to grow. I have no idea how they are still in business! Do not use Jenkins Restoration!

Jenkins was really great to my husband and I. We had a massive tree fall through our house and almost half our house needed to be rebuilt. They just finished the job and our house looks better than it did before. Johnathan and Pat were amazing with keeping us updated and making sure we knew what was going on and stuck to the time frame we were given. Lee, Daniel and Maggie with the pack out crew did an awesome job packing our belongings and storing them for us while our house was being rebuilt. We are thankful for them and happy to be home for Christmas! Definitely would recommend them.

I was referred to Jenkins Restoration by my insurance company to assist with a damage claim. My representative Lee was awesome! Very punctual, personable and professional. He was even able to meet with me on the spot to resolve my concerns as quickly as possible and answer any questions I had about the process. He and his team executed the assistance of my claim quickly and carefully. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family and will happily use them again if ever necessary!

Patrick Szawara and the Jenkins Restoration team did a fabulous job in coordinating all aspects of our major hardwood floor renovation project. We had a water valve break upstairs that led to water in the ceiling on our first floor. Jenkins Restoration did an excellent job in responding to the problem and conducting the repairs quickly. I highly recommend them for your water mitigation and restoration needs.

Andrew Mathews came to my aid when he was assigned to help with my water mitigation emergency. He made several calls to help set up he equipment, check to see if things had dried, and then returned two days later and determined things were dry. He was polite, answered my questions, and delightful to work with.,

We are so thankful for Jenkins Restoration to come to our rescue when we had a septic tank flood. We just moved in our new home and 6 days later we had the flood that caused extensive damage. I worked with Patrick who was our liaison throughout the entire process. He is a wealth of knowledge in every aspect of the restoration process. As home owners construction and restoration is not our trade so all the teams were great at patiently walking us through the process. We would recommend Jenkins Restoration for ant restorations.

We had a great experience with Jenkins Restoration. We recently experienced water damage at our home. A representative from Jenkins Restoration came to our home on a Saturday morning and brought equipment to help dry out our ceiling. The estimator, Cody Nelson made an appointment to come to our home to view the damage, and prepare an estimate. He arrived at the appointed time, and was very professional. The written estimate arrived within 24 hrs. Once the A/C work was completed by the A/C contractor, Cody arranged for his employee to complete the repairs as per the agreed amount. The employee arrived on time, and the repairs were completed to our satisfaction. Cody continued to stay in touch with us during the process.I would definitely recommend Jenkins Restoration to anyone needing repairs at your home due to fire, smoke or water damage.

Jenkins Restorations was a breath of fresh air when dealing with repairing my home after a car crashed into it. Patrick Szawara and Lee Fowler were very good at keeping the communications lines open. Any information or update requested - they obliged. During such a frustrating event, Patrick and Lee provided what seems to be real time updates to at least let me know what was going on or what was to come. I would definitely recommend Jenkins for anyone that goes through such a traumatic experience needing repairs.

11 weeks ago I walked into my house to find 2 of water on my first floor due to a clogged pipe. Once the water was dried up, my insurance adjuster had Jenkins Restorations contact me regarding the construction work needed. Mike Donihee arrived at my house, surveyed the damage, took pictures, acted as liaison between my insurance people & me & handled EVERYTHING from that moment on. All of his subcontractors were fantastic, reliable & trustworthy individuals who I felt secure about coming & going in my home when I wasnt there. Everything about Mike & his crew(s) just radiates professionalism & I would highly recommend them for whatever is needed.

When I came back from vacation earlier this month I found that I had no A/C upon investigating this I found a hot water line had burst and flooded my crawl space it was like rain forest under there. I called my insurance company (USAA THE BEST) they recommended Jenkins and I and they are the best at what they do dried out my crawl space cleaned up the mold mildew they have done everything they said they would do. Even more important to me in the eight years I have lived here I finally found a contractor who returns phone calls on the same day answers any questions put to them. Are you ready for this one they said they would be at my house by 8:30AM and they not only there but ready for work at that time. They are courteous and respectful crews. I would highly recommend this company for your contacting needs.

Jenkins Resorations fixed water damage in our upstairs family room, and did an excellent job. They hung plastic sheeting to make sure that dust from the job did not affect the rest of the house before they began the job. They kept in close touch during the work, and the finished renovation looks perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Mike Donihee was exceptional in the way he handled the project. He would always get back to me with an answer. Could not ask for a better contractor.

This contractor is an absolute JOKE! They advertise they are available 24-hours for emergency repairs. Well that term is highly subjective to their benefit. They were hired for a job at our home and took OVER A MONTH to complete the work. How long did the actual work take for them to do you might wonder? ONE DAY. So how in the world it took them over a month to complete a one day job is incomprehensible. Take your money or your insurance payment to literally anyone else besides these people.

My experience with Jenkins Restoration was fantastic! Thanks to Mike Donihees professionalism and expertise, we went from a dishwasher leak disaster to an incredible new kitchen. Communication and quality were stellar throughout the project. I recommend Mike and team wholeheartedly.

I was very impressed with Jenkins Restorations. Neal did a great job repairing the water damage in my house, he was a nice guy and professional. I hope I wont need them again but if I do I will definitely call them again.

Jenkins Restorations replaced my roof and repaired a small amount of drywall in my ceiling. They did a great job. Fast response and quality work.

Our HVAC was leaking into our crawl space, which resulted in mold. Jenkins Restoration came out and got it dried out, removed all traces of mold and installed a moisture barrier. They were professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Had a water problem late one afternoon in November. I called our insurance agent PURE who sent Jenkins to our home to remove the necessary damage. They showed up early evening and worked into the next morning until initial problem was mitigated.

This company was not very helpful with resolving a water issue and investigating hardwood floor damage. They were not able to resolve any moisture issue and did not resolve our problem.

A slightly mixed review honestly, USAA recommended them when we had water damage /mold issue from a dishwasher leak. The guy sent for that was great, sprayed stuff to kill mold, set up fans, etc. He also removed two toekick boards from our kitchen cabinets to get access under them as there was mold on back of the boards and fans needed to blow under cabinet. Since boards had mold he destroyed the toe kicks and said their people would come out to match the wood and put in new towkick boards after they removed the fans and out new floor was installed. Fans were picked up and our floor installer did their job but for weeks we couldnt get anyone to call us back about finishing the job. We found out they had billed the insurance company for the work done and thought they were finished with us. We had some difficulty getting a call back, but once we did, they apologized for some miscommunication issues, and as far as the billing issues goes, they can only bill the insurance company for work they are authorized to do at that point, so the water/mold/drying issue is separate from any repair/restoration work bill which makes sense.

Wonderful community and Christian service! We went for an outing with Sheila from church (Gastonia First Assembly ), the four grandkids and myself to Jenkins Restorations hosting a Servants With a Heart food packing event . Spectacular day!! Well over 30,000 meals packed on our 11:30 - 1:45 shift. The grandkids loved participating!!!! As did Sheila and myself!

Under the worst of circumstances, they made a bad situation as painless as possible. I would definitely recommend using them again.

Unprofessional, rude, and disrespectful ….This Company came out to do an estimate for a tarp on my roof after a tree had fallen on it. My wife was home and they tried to rush her into a contract for the whole job tarp, and repairing the roof. So, I called to clear up things and let the company know that we just needed a tarp to prevent more damages. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, I was dismissed and told that they did not know when they could come back out and that they had other clients. If they don’t get the whole job you aren’t worth they’re time.Words of Warning…

Im not sure where to start with this company. The problems vary from theft from their subcontractors stealing to multiple quality issues and cutting corners to double their profit. Do not use these folks. Their project managers are all very young and inexperienced, they do not manage the job at all.
