I have used BluSky on multiple projects for the apartment complex I manage in Charlotte. They have done great work for us. They are quick to respond and have been professional as well as fairly priced. Theyve got a great team that makes the process easy.

Conducted water mitigation repair. Retiled, replaced drywall, floor molding, painted, and repaired plumbing. Basically redid bathroom except for tub/shower replacement. excellent work, especially drywall, pain and plumber.

Our kitchen and pantry/ laundry area floor was damaged by water from the dishwasher located in the kitchen. We reported our loss to our insurance company. That same day they contacted BluSky to handle our claim. We dealt with Project Manager Russell Wills, Project Director Hillary Serwatka and Project Manager Jinette Aybar. Russell coordinated water damage cleanup, mold inspection and removal and asbestos removal. Hillary prepared a comprehensive appraisal of repairs for the damaged underlayment, vapor barrier and laminate flooring along with baseboard and toe kick molding plus paint and labor. Jinette coordinated all aspects of the repair / replacement process including helping us select the desired replacement floor, ordering the product, arranging the arrival of the installers and scheduling the carpenter and painting crews. We were awed by the detail focus this BluSky team displayed in managing the complexity of this project with so many processes and crafts involved. The relatively smooth completion of our kitchen project is a testimony to the professionalism of this team, the company, and its employees! Dan and Linda Morley

Do NOT work with BluSky Restoration Contractors LLCBluSky is not a company I would recommend to anyone. I had a water damage insurance claim and BluSky was a company partnered with my insurance at the time of my claim. The people I worked with from this company were not honest, not reliable, didn’t’ show up to appointments, didn’t answer calls, were unable to communicate, had no sense of urgency, and no drive to complete the project. It was extremely difficult to get answers on simple questions like “What is the budget for the wood flooring?” and “Are the stairs included in the quote”. I was always given the run around, including the answers I received from upper management. In the end I had to hire a new contractor to get the job done and pick up the pieces BluSky left. The little work BluSky was able to complete was not satisfactory and they never sent anyone else out to fix it properly. Do yourself a favor and find a company like Built Restoration and Construction to do the work professionally and in a timely fashion.

It took about 18 months and tons of headaches to get paid for a job I did for Blu Sky.....if they ever needed help again I would definitely pass..

Having a fire is no picnic and youre probably reading this review because you just went through one. Its such an unsettling and disruptive event and your world is suddenly turned upside down.The morning after our Huntersville house caught fire, Steve from Disaster One stopped by and spoke to us. He was the only person who wasnt a gawker that morning and it was such a relief to speak to someone who knew what they were talking about and didnt have a fire horror story of their own to share (everyone does!).We didnt know a thing about how the entire restoration process worked - we hadnt been through this before, we were just sort of stunned and a little paralyzed. It was a Sunday morning and Steve walked us through next steps, he left his card and checked back with us via text. It wasnt intrusive, it was just letting us know he was there if we had questions or needed advice.The following day, he made himself available to be here when the insurance adjuster came to assess the damage. He was able to ask questions we wouldnt have known to even ask like dealing with smoke damage in attic insulation and getting the smoke smell out of our car. I hadnt even signed up with the company yet, but the fact that Steve showed up when he did and was there to advocate for us made it a very easy decision.Along with Scott (the worlds most personable and interesting individual), Steve has been our concierge throughout the entire process and checks in with me daily to make sure were happy, we have what we need and he makes himself available to answer any questions. There may be other companies out there who do what Disaster One does, but they are the ones who showed up and followed up time after time. We really feel like theyre our team looking out for our best interests. They arrive when they say they will, they do the work they promise when its promised, the crew is professional and friendly. They have made this a very painless process. We feel very fortunate on so many levels.Once our insurance company gave Disaster One the go ahead (you should expect a few days of lag time between when you file your insurance claim and when insurance gives the ok to begin work), they were here the following day to start. They have shown up every day since. They have inventoried and emptied the garage of all its contents and cleaning and construction are underway. Its going quickly, smoothly and painlessly. They called or emailed us everyday to check in and ask if we had any questions.A week later my house looks better than ever! I am SO SO happy that we chose Disaster one! Not only did they finish the job within record timebut went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were happy with all aspects of the project.
