It is so difficult to find a good barber, but to find a barber who provides an experience such as Marc does is almost impossible. He is incredibly welcoming of all genders, and knows how to make conversation. Also respects if you aren’t the talking type. His space is unique and personalized. My brother in-law and I made an appointment, not knowing what to expect. Marcus personally communicated through his cell phone, and when we arrived he offered us beverages, beer, water, soda etc. He has excellent taste in music, and his haircuts are insanely detailed, not to mention amazing. He takes his time and it shows. He offered the full experience: hot cream, blade finish, hot towel. I played vintage arcade games on his console while waiting for my brother in law. Couldn’t stress this enough. He is the best barber around and offers the best experience. 11/10 recommend.

I’ve been all over Charlotte looking for a barber who can trim with scissors as good as they could do a fade and until i went Marc about 2 years ago i was unable to find that. Since going to Marc I haven’t been to another barber in Charlotte since. If you’re looking for a barber who can use buzzers, scissors and clean it up with a nice straight edge, Marc is your guy. He’s very flexible with his hours and when i make an appointment, I never have sat and waited more than 10 minutes to get in the chair.

Been searching for a barber for 8 months since I moved to Charlotte...and I found a great one in Marc Maio. I had a great experience at his private studio and my haircut and beard trim was done with great detail and patience. Highly recommend Marc to anyone looking for a permanent barber. Marc is the only guy I go to haircuts for the last 3 years and since he was at his last shop. Prices are reasonable and he is the BEST at fades. He also does a great job with trimming beards and can do better than I can on myself.

Marc’s shop is awesome. Very neat and has a lot of character! He offers a free cold beverage with your cut too. Marc takes his time and makes sure you like your cut before he’s done. I’ll be back!

Been going to Mark for my haircuts for almost 3 years, and hes always given me a clean cut. Hes also great at beard trimming if youre in need of that. Hell definitely make you look good for a night out on the town.

Ive gotten my hair cut at alot of places but this by far is the best. Being a 15 year old boy my hair is very important to me and Marc fixs me up real good. This is one of the best fades I have ever had and over all he is a very cool fun guy.
