I cant even begin to say how great this place is... From my first visit through my most recent, I have had 5-STAR service from Chelsea. I could write a book about everything she does she does great, but Ill cut to the chase... Chelsea cuts hair with precision and accuracy. Shes not the type of stylist that treats you like youre just another number but actually has personable conversations with you. She has been cutting my hair for about three years, and I actually followed her over to Selwyn Barber. Like I told her, Im happy to drive as far as I have to drive, because shes the only one Ill go to. Shes sweet, cuts hair great, and always on time. What more can you ask for? If you dont have a stylist with Selwyn Barber already, give her a shot! You wont be disappointed!Regarding the shop... Its VERY clean and well kept. The rest of the staff seems very friendly too! Always greeted with warm welcomes and smiles!Thank you Chelsea for always being awesome!

I’ve been coming here regularly since 2015 after stumbling upon it months into our first rental in Charlotte. Tim is a great guy and does a consistently good job. I’ve also been to see Andy when Tim was out, and was just as pleased. A local establishment with local color, no fuss, reasonably priced–highly recommend as a low maintenance hairstyle kind of guy who enjoys bang for his buck. (You’ll pay a couple bucks fewer, too, if you bring cash.)

Reece was an awesome barber! An elderly gentleman in his 70s or 80s, hes been cutting hair for over 50 years. First at Charlottetown Mall in the 1950s, then at Sedgefield Barber Shop until they closed recently and now here. Very good haircut and pleasant conversationalist. Price is a little hefty at $21+tax but would still choose Selwyn over Walmart or SuperCuts.

I moved here in 2011 and went through a series of bad haircuts. Went here in 2012 on a reference from a friend and havent had a bad one yet!
