The guy his name carlose is very unprofessional he was talking on the phone for about 30 mins and do not pay attention he does the haircut while he is talking I was so disappointed and they he was handling it was very rude I’m not coming again over this

This is my second time coming to this establishment and the first time as soon as walked in someone asked me what I needed and said someone would be with me shortly.But today I walked in and everyone there just looked at me for a minute and continued doing what they where doing not one time in the hour I was sitting waiting did anyone even ask if there was anything they could help me with and people walked in after me and immediately got a cut this was unexplainable and I walked out

Messaged on fb and they told me to call the number to make an appointment. Called multiple times for two days. Decided to come in and once I stepped inside, nobody greeted me, two people just stared at me. So I say Hello! to break the ice ig. Nobody stands up and interacts with me. Only one guy cutting hair. 5 people sitting down. Terrible experience. I tell them about my calling multiple times and I tell them I need to get my haircut (obviously). Guy sitting down says come here and I’m confused like you don’t need my name? I left what a sketch place.

This was the worst cut I have ever had. First there is no one up front to greet you or let you know how long the wait time is. I have seen the other negative reviews and have to agree that the environment is not friendly. The cut was horrible bad fade. Uneven beard work it was really bad. Straight razor work was dry and they cut against the grain really amateur. For my spanish people recortes to mierda. Keep walking this was not a great place to get a cut.

It breaks my heart to post this but it needs to be said. I used to love coming to this shop but unfortunately I cannot do it anymore. Unless you go into this shop in the morning hours youre going to be here for a while. I feel like the average wait is 2 hours just to be seen. To top it off most of the barbers are lax and dont have the hustle mentality to get your cut done quickly and efficiently. Theyre talented individuals theres no denying that but I feel as if the popularity of this location is due for a business expansion. They really could use it. Another bigger location with at least an additional 4-5 chairs would increase their overall flow. More seating in the waiting area, and additional TV.

Great visit, open Sunday so there was a line forbut at least 5 barbers were working. I was visiting the area for a funeral and was pressed for time. There was a slight mix up with the order of the line but the lead barber( I believe his name was) Ray was very professional and handled the situation expertly. He apologized for the mix up, gave me the haircut complimentary. The act was generous and displayed his managerial skills. His professionalism turned my experience into something great.The hair cut was sharp and precise as well. I recommend this shop to anyone in the area and I will be sure to visit this barbershop anytime I return to the Charlotte area.

Decent hair cuts, many of them are good, but they have no organizational skills and spend too much time looking in mirror and on cell phone. Used for several years, but it isnt worth the wait any more. Expect one hour for haircut and as much time waiting.

This establishment has a team of great barbers but maybe they need to get back to the basics like opening the doors at the time your website state . I arrived at 840a.m. under the notion that they would open at 900a.m. I finally left at 936a.m. and no one was there yet. If this business doesnt have the capacity to wake up and get to work on time like many if us do each and every day then maybe you all should consider adjusting your hours.

Had my first bad experience the dude on the right second to last chair Short dude really needs to find a new job I showed this man a picture of what I wanted nothing hard I get it Everytime I come and he decides to cut my hair short smh even gave him extra instructions but it is what it is never again going to his chair he subpar to say the least.

I have been getting my haircut by Jay for almost 2 years. By far one of THE best in Charlotte. The atmosphere is friendly and professional.

Worst barber shop to go to. I went there and asked for a low fade and a trim for my split ends but the barber cut my hair 4 inches shorter and he took about 45 minutes - 1 hour doing my fade. I would not recommend to go to this barber shop.

I have been going there for over 9 years now, i have noticed lately that Jay and Coba the owner have changed their attitude since they have became the owner of this barbershop, I remember them were more respectful when they were just some one who used to work for Fermin ! It’s been over 3 years now since i have noticed the change, you will walk in and you feel that you are not welcome any more, They know how to cut hair good but i think they have very very bad and poor customer service ! It is realy sad that when you go to the same barber shop for long time years and years and then you decide that you don’t feel comfortable anymore with their service ! I hope they wake up before they lose more customers!!!!!

Been going to Diamond Image for about five years now and every cut is quality. Barbers are skilled and personable. I’ve gone to both Jay and Adrian and they’re both dope with the clippers. I read reviews about the wait time and it is true, if you dont get there early (especially on weekends) you will be waiting but thats because the barbers are in high demand and have ALOT of clients.Advice to patrons:1. Build rapport with the barber you choose.Talk to them about life, family, relationships. Theyre people too.2. TIP THEM!!!Barbers often work 6 or 7 days a week and stand on their feet all day. They will remember how you show your appreciation.

First time going here, i went to the 4th chair on the right. Seems like he already had an attitude because all he said was “what do you want”. I told him to not touch the top and give me a taper fade. First he started the fade too high, so basically around my head was bald and had hair on the top of my head. Told him not to touch the top and he used scissors to cut some off the top. He touch my beard without asking how i wanted it. Also when you combing black ppl hair you can’t be rough like you’re combing Hispanic hair. It won’t go through easy. Almost like he didn’t want me in his chair. End result i didn’t like my cut but i still paid. Didn’t even shake my hand when i left. Not coming back!
