Freshen Up is more than just a haircut,it’s an experience. Mario is setting the bar high for barber shops, shop was spotless and organized. He goes out of his way to make his clients comfortable and most importantly he is a talented professional barber. My appointment started on time and came with solid genuine conversation. When you come home from a cut and your wife asks did someone else cut your hair and then ask that you take her little brothers next time then you know you just got a next level cut. Mario doesnt just give haircuts he changes lifestyles and restores confidence. Professionalism all the way! Clean and well furnished workspace and an extremely personal experience. I came across this barber while at the mall on 8/15/20. He was the first to show up when I did a google search. The other great reviews and the closeness of him to my current location was the reason I stopped by. I must note that he requires an appointment. I got lucky and he squeezed me in. I’m grateful as I do not live in Charlotte and needed a cut. He sanitized/cleaned the clippers before using them on me. My haircut (including cleaning up beard) was good. No complaints at all. I would recommend him. For me, the only thing that caught me off guard was that it was $40. I’m not sure if that’s how much they charge in Charlotte or because it was on the weekend or what. I feel like that was overpriced considering I didn’t get anything special. I’m use to paying $15-$20 for a full haircut and beard. I was expecting maybe $25-$30 due to it being Charlotte, but not $40. I paid it and didn’t complain because the service was complete at this point. It just really shocking. Nonetheless, I will reiterate that quality of the cut was good and he squeezed me in when he didn’t have to, which was greatly appreciated considering I was celebrating an anniversary and had dinner plans.

I found Mario when a friend of mine randomly googled barber shops, and got his hair cut. When I saw the quality he performed on my friends hair, I HAD to come back for myself!
