Tim gave me one of the worst cuts I’ve had in my life. Completely botched the fade. Missed several patches. Made me wonder if he was drunk or something. Had to go get it fixed elsewhere.I had a feeling it wasn’t right when he was doing it, didn’t feel like any haircut I’ve had before. He was kinda just chopping without even looking, all different directions, while talking on the phone and with others in the shop. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, figured he knew what we was doing. He did not.I’ve seen other barbers here and they were great, but you couldn’t pay me to go back to Tim. Dude is truly awful. I’m honestly too ashamed to post a picture of the haircut he gave me.

Kocaj is a very talented barber, knows what he is doing, explains thoroughly what he is going to be doing, takes his time and creates his art. Amazing service, amazing skills! Only barber i go to.

Scheduled an appointment with Tim online and still had to wait about 20 minutes... but in the end the cut was perfect. I don’t usually go to a barber, I usually cut my own hair, but I’m glad I went. Will go again.

My first time to a real barber in 25 years. Have to fly to New York, to meet with my boss and figured it was time to clean up my Covid beard. I was in rough shape. I told Terrance to ‘just make me look good’. He did… later that day, all my buddies wive’s kept licking their lips at me. That was weird but Terrance did what he promised. Already made my next appointment.

Needed my hair shaved and beard trimmed since I was on a business trip longer than expected and didn’t bring my shavers. Tiffany was great and did an awesome job and everyone at the office was like “damn look at you looking clean” so I would like to thank her for the great job she did!

Fast and easy haircut like I wanted

This place is a joke, made my appointment on Friday at 6:30pm, show up in the doors are all locked and the sign says they close at 7:00 pm. Will never bring business here and dont recommend anyone either.

Tiffany was great and gave me probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten! She was meticulous and careful, and was in no rush to get the job done. This was my first haircut in 8 months so she had a lot to work with but did very well. I will be back again to Charlotte Barber and Beard the next time I need a haircut.

My dude Eric Easy hooked me up with the dope fade and scissor cut. ~$20 less than Shear Excellence after tip. Took his time, which resulted in one of the best cuts Ive had in years. Easy is now my go to CLT barber.

Definitely not the worst cut I’ve had before but it was the most expensive considering the quality. The top of my head was buzzed and when I got home there were little patches at the back of my head where it was still long. I asked for a bald fade on the sides but they were blended poorly and on the back of my head there was a patch where it was taken too high and didn’t match the rest of it. I’ve come here twice and sat with two different barbers and both times I felt like I paid way too much for what I got.Update: After reaching out to the owner, he did not provide the refund promised nor the haircut he offered. He was rude and blamed me for not being able to go to his opening when given only an hour notice.

Tiffany is fantastic! Haven’t gotten a cut since the pandemic started and was in desperate need for a professional to fix both my hair and beard. She did a great job with both and I will be returning in the future.

Marcus has cut my hair twice. Each time he’s on point. He does the work and we get along. He talks only if you want to, but if you want quiet. He’s quiet too.The prices are fair and will do nearly any cut. Actually the prices are the best in the area for what they offer. Anywhere else is double their price.You get the appointment set online through a reservation service. You’re not charged until after the cut, and the tip is part of the price. If you cancel the appointment (24 hours ahead) you’re not charged.I’ll continue to hit up the CB&B. You should too.

My husband went for the first time recently and his haircut looks fantastic. Trey did a great job with it but today I took our almost two year old son in and Marcus was fantastic. He was quick, fun and my son was so comfortable. I loved how he sat on a skateboard for his cut. We will be back for sure!

I badly needed a haircut and notice this shop recently opened in my neighborhood. I stopped in and wanted get my head shaven. The shop was busy and the staff congenial. My barber did an outstanding job shaving my head. While the price was little more than the average chain, but its well worth it !

I decided to make an appointment with Marcus based on the reviews.I talked to Marcus about what I wanted, and he shared some suggestions. We agreed and he went to work. Marcus spent 30 minutes taming this mess and I was blown away by the results! I went in looking like a mountain man and came out looking exactly like what I envisioned. Marcus has a customer for life! CBB is well worth’s the trip and the money, do not trust your beard to anyone else!!

I loved the haircut I got today. Lee did a spectacular job and I am so happy with my cut. The online scheduling and payment program was easy and worked great. Ive been buzzing my head myself for years and wasnt sure what I wanted after growing it out. Lee asked a few questions and then nailed it. Ive been getting my hair cut here for the last two years. My go to guy is Lee. He is super professional; you can tell he is passionate about what he does and Ive always been pleased with the cuts I get. Best barber Ive been to in the 5 years Ive lived in NC.If you cant get an appointment with Lee Ive had a few cuts with Marcus and one of the newer guys and they are both very skilled as well. You really cant go wrong.The banter is always entertaining and the place is always poppin so make sure to book in advance.

Booked appointment online for haircut, hot towel and straight razor for 51 dollars but only received a ok haircut no hot towel or straight razor shave. Once I got home had to trim the hair behind my ears, and even out my mustache, seems they need to pay a little more attention to detail.

But you will be in good hands, they are fast and clearly know what they are doing and know current hair styles and looks. I cut my hair with Lee and he is great. Im very picky with my cut and look and he nailed it. Definitely going back on bi-weekly basis.

Got cut up by Trey. Had an appointment- he was punctual and mad friendly- not to mention the services were ON POINT. Ive been looking for a legit barber in the area for years (literally,) and super stoked I finally found both this shop and Trey. I can speak on his fade and line-up skills; and needless to say, both are exceptional.

Giving this place a 2.... The barber that took care of me was good and the cut looked fine. My problem is they charged me $25 for a simple clean up. I mean the guy didnt even touch the top, just faded up my sides and cleaned up my lines. I wonder if its because I am a female because their website claims that female undercuts are more. If a dude walked in for a quick (I mean quick, I was in the chair for like 10 minutes) clean up would he have been charged $25? The barber didnt even blow the hair off my neck or anything. I can go to a 5* salon and get a clean up for the same cost and the hair dresser is going to clean me up, texturize the top, wash, and style. Definitely not worth the price, but appreciate the quick walk in service.

I went in with a picture of the haircut I wanted. Marcus ended up giving me a haircut. It was a fairly basic haircut. I left with something resembling that haircut thats too small for my head. I have a rather large head so now rather than my haircut hiding the fact I have a large head it emphasizes it. I keep looking at the picture of the haircut I wanted and think wow thats a cool haircut. then I look in the mirror and think what the F*** is this?To top things off they dont take cards there. Or advertise this fact. Luckily you can go up the road and pay a fee to use the atm. How well thought out. Apparently its too much effort to get a free card reader from paypal....Im giving 2 stars because the haircut itself was professionally done and if it was the haircut you wanted itd be a good haircut. Still if I went to a restaurant and ordered a hamburger and they brought out a chicken dish Id be upset regardless of how good the chicken dish was.

$25 plus tip ($30), for an incomplete haircut. I was rushed out of the seat because the barber (Joe) had a client that had an appointment after he agreed to cut my hair. Asked him to finish sideburns. He ignored. And rushed me out. The serious sticker shock when he charged me $25. For a simple fade. No touching the top. Or shave. I got this for $15+tip in NYC!!! Seriously fellas. Get a price list. Or charge accordingly for the haircut. And please no canned responses from the guy who runs their social, about being sorry. I’ll never go back.....
