Made an appointment online for today @ 2:15 pm earlier today, went through no issues. Appointment was also confirmed by the “Roosters Ballentyne” @ 1:09 pm. Just to get a call from Tami @ around 1:45 pm that they made a manual appointment for 2:15 so I would have to move my appointment to 3 because that was her next time available. I said that wouldn’t work with my schedule which is why I setup the appointment beforehand anyway. She said nobody else was available so I told her to never mind. I’m the one who was being forced to change my schedule due to a scheduling program or persons mistake. No thank you.This is awful service & treatment, especially with this being my first experience or going to be my first experience. I didn’t even make it in the door.However, Tami was polite & stayed professional.

Came here to fix my hair after a not so great haircut. I worked with Jeanna and she was absolutely wonderful. I was in and out in about 20 minutes. This will definitely be my go to from now on. Each station is separated by partitions and has ample space so you feel like you have your private area and not everyone is in your business and you can actually hear each other. Highly recommend.

I just booked a first time appointment for my boyfriend for today and the experience was fairly poor. First of all, he was told that he was booked for a $110 haircut, even though the reservation was clearly for a $40 haircut as the email confirmation said. At the end, he was charged $50 (even though it should have been $40)... and the worst part is that the hair cut was not even good (Anthony -the stylist- left uncut hair on the hairline). Very poor and a total rip off. Please do yourself a favor and go to another barbershop.

Beware before booking with Kelly, she is the least accommodating you will find, and discriminate too. She canceled my appointment for a haircut because I got there a couple of minutes lates, inspite of informing them and she just says sorry we need to reschedule. I drove more than an hour to get there just to find out that Kelly is someone who doesnt care. I was told to wait if I planned on getting a haircut the same day; while I waited I saw her accepting a client who came in even 11 minutes late. What should I call Kelly for differentiating between her 11 minutes late client and me?Update: the manager Tammy read this post and took immediate action, she called me and tried her best to accommodate a slot for a haircut the same day with Tereza (she is awesome!). Tammy handled the situation very professionally and offered everything she could have. Tereza is a star, she is so patient, cheerful, good at understanding what you exactly want, and a kind person. Thanks to Tammy and Tereza.

I really like this salon. They do well in trying to achieve the look you want. I never feel rushed. They use great products that smell fantastic! And, I like the ease of the online appointment bookings. Its also in a good location. This has become my go-to place.

Needs to be remodeled. Cabinets are dirty and worn out. Received a good haircut. But the stylist was load and had a very loud and irritating laugh. Many times laughed in my ear and was obnoxious. No reception so she had to handle calls and walk in customers. The music was load and 80s heavy metal rock n roll. Not my idea of relaxing. Owner showed up for about five minutes. He obviously did not care about the business. I have been going to this Roosters on and off for the last 8 years and this will be my last. Gave it 2 stars only because the haircut was good.

The only place Ill go now. Great cut, great service. Not a cheap cut, well worth the price.

I tried Roosters because my son had been going quite often. I was impressed with how well his hair looked after his visits. Ill be honest, I am a Great Clips, Sports Clips type of guy. I gave Roosters a chance. After a haircut and beard trim I was fully impressed. My hair stylist was the manager. She was a good stylist. Personally, this just me and no one else, but I cant see spending that kind of money on a regular basis for a haircut and beard trim. I have received the same service at Great Clips for quite less money.

Roosters has been a fantastic mens grooming center for everything I need! They keep track of how I like my hair to be cut and styled so its not like Im having to teach a new hair stylist how I like my hair. Though i dont need them to trim my beard, its great to know that the offer that service as well! Highly recommended!

I’ve been on this earth for a little over 63 years and have had my haircut all over the world (literally). Rosters in Ballantyne rates in the top 1% of the places where Ive had my hair cut. All of the people there are absolute professionals. Everyone and everything is on point and work together to provide the total customer service experience. I can’t rave enough about the competence and empathy of the staff. Just go there and you won’t be disappointed!

The workstations are private, the staff is experienced and very good at listening to what you want as well as advising you on what alternatives you may want to consider, I have gone through 6 hair cutters in 5 months until I went there and I wont be changing. I called asking if I could get a quick trim as I just left another barber that made my full beard look like a spike on my chin. Started my appointment 10 minutes late and did a beard trim and shave in 25 minutes. Seemed like it was more important to rush to complete than provide quality service.

Ive been here twice for a beard trim and Tafoya has done an outstanding job both times. The staff are personable and a joy to be around, and their online booking system makes it super simple to book an appointment. The hot towel treatment is the icing on the cake. If youre in the market for a beard trim, look no further.

I tried to make an appointment was unable to due to crappy web sight i called several times and no one bothered to pick up the phone I decided to take the drive and walk in, the place was empty and I was told they were booked for the day. I asked then why my call wasn’t returned and I was told that they got my call but didn’t have time to call back and that they don’t answer phone calls. Great for business never again.

What happened to the simple good old days when you walk in to a barbershop and got a haircut. I walked in to rooster in ballantyne and was told they were booked for the rest of the day but there was nobody waiting. Great way to get new customers.

Friendly staff but poor quality work. The lady was very talkative, but the haircut ended up not so good. Luckily my hair grows fast so I can easily recover. I had to go elsewhere for my next one.

I have been going here for quite awhile. Today, October 30, went for my scheduled appointment, only to find my stylist sets his own schedule and decided to be off today. I was asked by the assistant manager, did he not call you. Dumb question, if he had I wouldnt have been there. Was asked if I would like to reschedule. I cant wait two more weeks to see my stylist. No one tried to step up and offer, well fit you in, can you wait for a few moments. So far they have lost me as a customer, wonder if they care enough to reach out and get me in quickly to see someone else. I doubt it, customer service means nothing anymore.

Instantly remorseful that I didnt take my full yeard somewhere else.

I just moved to Ballantyne and thought this looked like a good place to try. Suty Tran took my appointment and was very nice and accommodating. Offered a drink when I first arrived. Took time to make sure he knew what I wanted done even inquired about the product I use in my hair and suggested a better type for my hair. (Did not try to pressure me to buy anything which helped me trust his recommendation) He was correct and did a great job on my hair. Will definitely go again.

I enjoyed going to Roosters but my hairstylist left for another location farther away. I am looking about now for another one closer to Rock Hill.

I went several months ago and was actually cut on my neck while getting a shave. I knew what happened and never got so much as, im sorry or anything of that nature. She tried to cover it up like nothing happened which really put a bad taste in my mouth. I see that she is no longer working there but I still do not know if I can bring myself to go back again.
