The place is not that bad. A lot of work on the inside needs to be done meaning the ceilings has leaks which you can see mold, the prep area for food there are wires hanging out of the cabinet Im unsure on how the place is passing inspection‼️ One of the most disturbing portions is there was no microwave. I never been to a venue with no microwave this is greatly needed for us Coordinators. The point of contact Lisa was nice difficult to meet with at the beginning but she did respond to emails, calls, text. There were huge Communication barriers due to assumptions being made yet we were able to surprise that as well. Once my staff and I decorated the place looked great. It has some upscale potential. Although for the location and due to cosmetic portion I sincerely feel that they charge too much. The lights were going on and off throughout the entire event thank goodness my bridal party did notine sitting in a dark area. The floors are not mopped. I cleaned up some water off the floor from the dance floor it was completely black very embarrassing. The health and sanitation is a major concern. Yet overall no other concerns we were able to get the job done. Lisa was very responsive and acted quickly when I showed her the previous event left a mess her and her staff cleaned it up. Lisa was a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism kicked in when needed. I do recommend the venue like I said the price should come down.

I met Lisa mid November for a high school graduation party family & friends to serve a light brunch/dinner gathering spot prior to event being we had a evening graduation at Bojangles Coliseum. This place definitely wasnt worth the quote but it was very convenient to Bojangles Coliseum. Dirty..someone had a party and left behind beer bottles, cans, liquor bottle and trash everywhere, she said the thought she would have time to clean prior to me getting there bunch of promises and oh hopefully the floor would be redone prior to our event. Im cancelling well in time per her contract for refund but of course she is not honoring it.

I hosted a book signing, workshop and networking event at Banquet 49. I hadn’t know the place existed and saw it online. It was so awesome. The owner and her team were really accommodating. Ans made things glow wellFrom start to finish of my event.

Amazing location. Staff was very accommodating and they made you feel like you were home and it was your own place. It has everything you need to host whatever event you would like.

I went there for an event but I would definitely not use that space for any type of function that I had.Water damage on the ceiling, floor was dirty, bathroom nasty.

Nice place! Went to an event for a book signing and networking event and it was great! Robert was the onsite manager and he was extremely helpful!

I use this spot monthly and I really like it. Lisa the owner is very pleasant and great to work with!

Disappointing for a supposedly Bridal Showcase. Whack!!!

If I could give A negative star rating that is what I would have done. I contacted Lisa in February to book for my wedding on our initial walk thru she pointed the damaged ceiling tiles stating she would replace. On my walk thru a month before the wedding Lisas whispering be careful making reference to the decorator I chose. I pointed out the ceiling tiles were never changed Lisas response Im not climbing up there..Fast forward to THE DAY OF MY WEDDING....LISA HAD NEW TILES LAID ON THE FLOOR. So my family and other guest had shoes and clothing BEAUTIFUL clothing ruined. My family are troopers and didnt want to disturb my day so they never said a word to me. Lisa is ruin her own business renting a venue without wanting to maintain it. My DAY WAS BEAUTIFUL DESPITE THE SORRY MANAGEMENT OF BANQUET 49. Spend the extra money and go to Yo Yos Party rentals, It cost more but Im hearing nothing but good things about that venue just 6 minutes down Albermarle rd.

Great place, Great Host. Will use them again.
