I rented the hall for a 50th birthday dinner. Michelle was amazing & I am forever thankful she was able to book my event at the last minute. I didnt appreciate the people that walked through the space I rented...several times. At one point I was told there was a lady going through my stuff that was in the banquet room (which was included in my rental).
We had our daughters sweet 16 here. It turned out nice. The place is really nice, and everything from beginning to end was great. Michelle was awesome, very professional and very helpful. Every time I emailed her, with a question she would reply back within minutes. I would recommend anyone whos looking to have a nice event without breaking the bank, to come check this place out.
Our group held a Christmas dinner and dance. The venue space was very nice and the rental price was very reasonable. It was a pleasure working with Ms. Gonzalez, the manager. She was always accommodating, cordial, and professional throughout the planning process.
I had my wedding here about 2 weeks ago let’s start with that. Out of all the places in Charlotte this is one of the most affordable venue for us at the time. The manager Michelle is great, ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️she was a great help with everything was is a big pros for me. My cons are is all the rules this venue have I’m not sure who makes them, but I had complaints about not being able to talk on the phone outside or go to there car for a few. Which was a little embarrassing because your guest are trying to have a good time. Also I wish all the appliances worked a little faster and hotter because there was a little delay on food because the ovens didn’t get hot fast enough and there suppose to be commercial. Overall I had a great wedding and I enjoyed myself.
Rude receptionist horrible customer service need a better attitude especially for a church run facility

I never take time to write any reviews, but after my experience at the Acopian Hall this past week, I felt it was definitely necessary. First, let me start with a huge THANK YOU to Michelle for all of her assistance with my rental. This review might be rather long, but I want to make sure I capture everything that I experienced. First, I reached out looking for a place to host my uncles repass dinner, and was rushing to find a really nice location with 2 days remaining until the funeral. I called the Acopian on a Sunday afternoon, expecting to get voicemail, and the phone forwarded to Michelle. I explained my situation, and she assured me that the Acopian hall would meet my needs, and rearranged her schedule to meet me first thing Monday morning.Monday morning when I got to the Hall, Michelle was very empathetic with me during such a difficult time, and walked me through the process, and gave me a tour of the facility which was awesome. (My wife and I wondered why we had not discovered this place when we were looking for a place for our wedding reception. The location had a room with table and chairs to seat 240 people, a buffet room, and provided us access to the Ice Machine, Refrigerator, and Oven in the Industrial sized Kitchen.There was also a wireless microphone, 2 wireless speakers, and a laptop with an overhead projector which was great for our slideshow presentation. Let me just say our guests were more than pleased with the location. It was in a great location...very well kept, modern, and had a beautiful grand entrance. And now for Michelle......she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and even came in on the day of our event early, assisted our caterer (yes we were able to have outside catering), and stayed with us through our entire event. In our time of need, we felt Michelle was a Godsend!! All of our guests kept asking about how we found this place...and honestly, I was getting discouraged on a Sunday afternoon, and Im SOOO glad I found this place. To top it off, on the evening of the event, we had a guest who had to leave really early to get back to the airport, and some of the staff overheard and arranged transportation back to the airport for her. I cant say enough about this place, and will DEFINITELY use the Acopian Hall again, and recommend this venue to anyone looking to host a wedding reception, large birthday celebration, or catered event. If youre lucky, youll get to work with Michelle!
Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.. The staff here is all nice before the event but on the day of the event they will ruin it for you I read other reviews and I was not the only one that the staff here ended the party before the scheduled time.. The security guard that they had was there just to gives complaint complaint but not help out.. They will really ruin everything.. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!!!
Do yourself a favor and rent The Orchid Banquet Hall instead! The staff at Orchid are more flexible and accommodating.In short, our family had a challenging experience with a staff member/management during our rental on 12/7/18. The staff member turned on the lights at 10:45pm, opened the door (on a cold winter evening), and aggressively yanked a plug from the outlet our musician was plugged into at 11pm. Although we paid to use the facility until midnight they cited that 1 hour of our PAID RENTAL is used for cleanup.This aggressive behavior towards a vendor, who was not the responsible party for the agreement, caused quite a stir and had the potential to escalate due to your staff members incredulous behavior and potential to damage expensive equipment. I must note that the security on duty was extremely respectful, but the staff member was quite aggressive, inflexible, and unaccommodating
