Go see Tim Cady at Hendrick BMW. Tim is an excellent communicator and really goes out his way to make the purchase process smooth…. and dare I say, enjoyable. Tim does what he says he will and even answered some questions I had, post-purchase. The vehicles at Hendrick are very well kept, but to me, the biggest part is about relationships. Being able to work with an advisor that’s trustworthy and helpful is extremely important. Tim was understanding of the fact that I didn’t have a ton of time to waste and was very respectful of my time. Tim is new to the area, but not at all new to the car business. If you are buying a car here then let me warn you my experience so you dont get cheated by them. I pre build one of my BMW car and I was promised by sales agent that I can make changes before the car goes to production and they will call me before BMW charge my credit card for deposit but despite of sending them email in one day in advance ( we needed to change the interior color ) they charged my card without let me change my interior color.Worst customer service I have ever seen. Please stay away from this dealership. If I could give them zero star if there is an option for rating of zero star.

The experience was a 5, until I sat with the finance guy. Sales associate Marlon Perez was outstanding and took the time to make a big purchase, frozen grey Z4 M40i, one to remember. The gentleman in finance, not so much. Changed my feelings from excitement, to frustration and this had nothing to do with qualifying.Go in and ask for Marlon! We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership, and I am VERY happy with my entire experience. We visited several BMW dealerships in the area, and this one was by far is the best. Other salesmen talked us out of cars or promised prices but did not deliver. However, at this dealership we had a completely different experience. Our salesman Jeff Shinn went above and beyond what we expected. He actually SAVED us money. He found us a newer car at a lower price than we expected to pay. I purchased a 2021 BMW M440I Convertible from Hendrick BMW in Charlotte on Saturday, June 12, 2021. Inventory is very slim nationwide on this vehicle. I love the valet service where you can pay a small fee and have the car picked up and delivered. Unfortunately, what Ive experienced consistently is lack of communication, no follow-through, and basically its up to the client to repeatedly call and text to try to figure out whats going on with the car. Ive also had experiences where there is no resolution on one visit so the car must be returned.
Like others leaving comments, Id like to give more than five stars to Sal Seck who has been my Service Advisor for quite a long period of time. Sal always communicates routinely through the service appointment and also with any upcoming maintenance that will save me a trip. Just recently Sal and the service team spent several hours tracking down a clicking noise issue that occurred at random times when braking. Sure enough, they isolated the issue and have parts ordered. Thanks Sal for taking care of us.
I’ve been going to Hendrick bmw for years, both north lake and independence are great. Jesse in service always takes the time to explain what’s wrong, and doesn’t rip me off. They had my car for like a week waiting on a part and if it was any other dealership I’d be irritated.

*Review is for Service Department*If you get Ryan Dewey as a service advisor, consider yourself in very good hands.I dropped off my 2017 340i for a brake fluid flush and found a new dent on the side of the vehicle after I picked it up. I immediately took a picture and sent it over to Ryan. With little to no pushback he took responsibility for it. Long story short, he had an external vendor immediately work on rebuffing it and even polished up previously-existing curb rash on the front wheels as an extra for no charge.Should I upgrade to another BMW (assuming the design/front grills of new models dont continue to get out of hand) I will definitely go back to Hendrick for this reason alone.

I have been a BMW owner for several years and even though I live in Eastern NC (4 hours away), I chose to do business with Hendrick BMW in Charlotte for two reasons. First, they had a better selection than several other BMW dealerships near me, and second the treatment I received from my Client Advisor, Robert Mann. All through the negotiation process I could truly tell he was working for me in every way. He was always courteous, professional and had a wonderful personality. This dealership was much more willing to negotiate over the phone and via email than any of the other dealerships I was dealing with. After we agreed on the terms (a week before I could get there) he kept me informed of everything and made my time in the dealership minimal with the actual transaction. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give Robert an 11, he was wonderful to work with.In addition, the BMW Genius Shawn Kollmer, who walked me through the new features on the car, was extremely knowledgeable, patient and a pleasure to work with.I would highly recommend this dealership.

This review specifically pertains to Jesse Walsh’s personal and professional excellence, particularly in regards to recent service recovery. Between 4/23-5/7, I spent a total of 8 hours over 2 visits at the Independence Blvd location in an attempt to fix the driver side window ( a manufacturer’s defect, as my vehicle is a 2021 X3). As expected, I became increasingly frustrated as the repair took significantly longer than originally anticipated. Throughout the arduous process, Jesse’s timely, knowledgeable updates, innate courtesy, and personal integrity not only ameliorated my frustration, but ultimately fostered patience on my end! He is the epitome of service excellence, an invaluable asset to the Hendrick organization. I am gratified for this opportunity to acknowledge his excellence.
I was an online buyer from Iowa. I found the model and colors I wanted at Hendrick BMW in Charlotte. Salesman Matt Crowell answered all of my (many) questions quickly and completely. Our negotiations were honest and respectful. I was comfortable with the final price. I flew into Charlotte and Matt met me at the airport. After an hour of paperwork and finance I was headed back to Iowa. Matt was a fine fellow even if he was a Saints fan.

John Paul Kemp is my Service Advisor and I am so grateful to be working with him. Integrity is the word that comes to mind when I think of him. I trust that he gives me honest advice about the maintenance and repairs needed for my BMW. He takes the time to explain things clearly and provides options. I had the most amazing experience working with Josh Wilson at Hendrick BMW. He was extremely patient with me, answered all my questions, and made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. Since Im not in the Charlotte area and couldnt easily come in, he made sure I was updated on the status of my car and when it was time for pick-up, helped coordinate my arrival at the dealership. Seems like no one wanted to sell a car. For a few moments I thought I was the sales guy. Horrible customer service beware. I walked in and had to greet the receptionist. 3 sales men right beside the receptionist talking about some “plans” just a few steps away. No one approached me. Receptionist then had to try and find someone to help. Once the sales rep was found all you hear is “what does he want”. Next time you should cut your conversation and greet the customer instead of asking the middle man. All this just to be told there were no cars in stock. Check out Hendricks north lake store on google for the second review.
