My experience with Charlotte Mechanical installing my new A/C and heating systems was outstanding. The installers, Tony, Mike, and Brian (Ryan?) were respectful, wore masks, cleaned up all of the materials and the work spaces in my home, and completed the installations with great efficiency. With great patience and consideration, the salesman, Josh, went over and above to explain the new systems to be installed in my home. In addition, he expedited the installations during a very hot week in South Carolina. He took the time to explain the new thermostat, and even checked up a few days later with a personal visit to ensure I was comfortable and satisfied with the new systems and the service I received. I would highly recommend Charlotte Mechanical to all of my neighbors.

Had Kris over this morning and he did an excellent job! He took the time to listen to the issues I had been having with the system, and he fixed an issue that I was told by other techs wasnt able to be fixed! He also was the friendliest tech Ive ever had at the house and even took the time to explain what he was doing to my 9 year old. He didnt seem bothered at all. All in all, 5 Star service! Came home from our last family vacation this past Sunday to find inside our house was at 87* and AC not working. Made a call around 6pm and Kris (with a K) showed up about an hour later. These guys are great. The service is always top notch and the employees are all very friendly. I’ve had both mu upstairs and downstairs HVAC units replaced and my water heater replaced by Charlotte Mechanical as well as all of the annual/semiannual maintenance. Upper AC not turning on and no cold air. Scheduled a service call for next day. Kris the tech was right on time and called to let us know he was 20 mins out. A very thorough and professional guy. Patiently answered all of my questions every step of the way. He was able to narrow down the problem and explained the process in an easy to understand way.We will receive his quote and recommendations tomorrow after he checks with manufacture about warranty coverage.*Also, Kris was very respectful and courteous with regards to COVID precautions and wearing foot protectors while inside the house. They will do their job diligently and wont rush to finish the jobs. Been a happy customer and will continue with them.

I purchased two units for my home approx 7 years ago.... from the sale to the service they have been great. When a product issue did come up, the techs that came out have all been helpful, professional,courteous and informative. I plan to sell my house soon and when I purchase another house, when and if the need arises for HVAC work, Charlotte Mechanical will be who I call.

My experience started numerous years ago when a tech name Nick serviced our system- he was straightforward and told me my system was fine today but had issues and should be replaced in the next 2 years.3 1/2 years later Tech Justin came out and found a leak that was far too costly to fix- plus our system used the old Freon Justin spent the time to show and review what was the issues in a plain English way.I made an appointment and Joshua came out and assessed our needs and made numerous recommendations. Joshua was very informative professional and he gave us just a very solid feeling of trust and caring.At this point given the age of our system and the numerous issues it was presenting we decided to have Charlotte mechanical replace completely our two systems.Brian Tom and Eric did an outstanding job of explaining what they were doing And installing our systems. They were on time, very courteous quite honestly I could not have wished for a better experience.As a matter of fact the access to the upstairs system was through my home Office. When everything was completed Joshua completely vacuumed my office.Ironically our house was cleaner when they left then when they came.I highly recommend Charlotte mechanical to anyone who needs their services.I got such a great value and feel much relief that my investment was well placed with Charlotte mechanical.

During a routine maintenance visit, I expressed concerns about the heat blowing very hard upstairs during the winter months. After noticing how hard the air was blowing, Chris was able to make some adjustments and balance the pressure out. We won’t have to live in hell during the winters months any more. I’m beyond satisfied with his service today!

I have had a dank and musty smell in the basement for years and I was looking for a dehumidifier to help. I was assigned Chris S. to my home for a solution and he was extremely knowledgeable. He identified that I didn’t need a dehumidifier but an air scrubber and did an expert job presenting the features and benefits and I decided to move that direction instead.For him to be honest enough to not only sell the lower cost solution is a testament to his name and the company. Thank you for such great service, working with Charlotte mechanical. I had a unique experience due to the fact that I had just the day before had a new roof put on and then lost my air conditioning. I called Charlotte mechanical they sent Kris right out.Kris was extremely knowledgeable he looked over the whole system and found that there was a nail that went through a copper pipe . My roofer wouldn’t take responsibility and Kris from Charlotte Mechanical got in touch with his manager and they took care of the issue. They had put in the original unit and totally stood by their work. What a pleasure this company is.

Kris did a great job of checking my entire furnace and took videos to show me areas of concern on my furnace. He spent time explaining what could happen over time and how we needed to monitor my system to avoid any major failures. He was on time (early), enthusiastic and was certainly an expert in furnace care. I very highly recommend him and Charlotte Mechanical who installed and have maintained my HVAC system for almost 10 years!Just had Dan come by to fix the dampner that was a little off causing the heat to go upstairs more than it should. He found the problem, fixed and tested the heat, and proved to me that the problem was fixed. Very grateful for his help! Great to have such an expert to quickly identify the problem and fix it. He wore a mask and boot covers the whole time. He explained everything to me and was happy to answer a quick question about my thermostat. I highly recommend Charlotte Mechanical!

I needed the recirculation pump replaced on my Navien tankless water heater. Setting up the appointment was easy and the technician, Calvin, was great in diagnosing the problem and doing the repair. He educated me about the water heater as he diagnosed the problem and he was thorough and very professional in his work. Charlotte Mechanicals quote was much less than a quote I received from a much bigger company that advertises all the time. Any plumbing need I have in the future will be handled by Charlotte Mechanical. I couldnt be happier with the service and the results!

First off, they were EARLY (which I have never seen in any other company before). Prompt, Professional and Efficient Servicing of our Navien Tankless Water Heater!We initially had a service visit from Brothers Heating & Air, who were only concerned with selling us a new system to the tune of almost $6000.00. The tech from Brothers never even opened the panel on the unit to take a look at it. Fast forward to last night, I checked Naviens website for service in our area and Charlotte Mechanical was right at the top as a recommended servicer of Navien units. I sent an email, got a quick response and set up an appointment in the morning. The gal who setup the appointment advised Calvin would be our tech and he was very knowledgeable of the Navien units. Calvin arrived promptly when he said he would arrive, asked us some questions and quickly got to work flushing, descaling and cleaning the unit. After the flush, the system was performing as it should. Calvin thoroughly explained what he was doing and made some recommendations for the future to improve the performance of the system. No surprises with cost either, which was priced fairly. Very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. The family has hot water again and all is well with the world!

Charlotte Mechanical installed a new Trane system in my home and I am very pleased. The installers were polite, knowledgeable and very efficient. I used Charlotte Mechanical to fixed my AC which was not cooling the unit, and ended up paying $1,000 to get it fixed. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone, not only did they ripped me off with their pricing, they did not fix the problem. 1 month later, my AC is broken again and not cooling down. Ive called them to complain and get someone to take a look at the AC Unit, but guess what?... I would have to pay again for them to just go take a look at it! Im obviously not giving them any more money. I have consulted with other companies on the issue I had, and they all have said that Charlotte Mechanical stole my money when I supposedly got it fix a month ago. I also tried going to their offices and when I got there no one opened the door, even though, there were many people inside. If I could give this company a ZERO, I would give them that. They only care about taking your money, and not taking care of their customers... UNBELIEVABLE! I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, if I do not get contacted by them after I called yesteryear.

A Charlotte Mechanical plumbing technician was asked to quote a small plumbing job to connect two 3/4 copper pipes together to create a bypass. I was quoted $595.00 plus $59 for the service call which was outrageous. I hired a separate plumber the next day to do the job. It took him 30 minutes and he charged me $50. I will never use Charlotte Mechanical again for plumbing services.

I can’t say enough about the quality and professionalism of the Charlotte mechanical staff We have lived in the south for 12 years and have had to buy 3 air conditioning units. Our home never seemed to get comfortably cool in the summer until we bought a Trane unit from Charlotte mechanical. They came to our home and determined that the previous units were too small and that the duct work needed adjustments. We now have our unit about 5 years and couldn’t be more satisfied. Our technician Nick is so knowledgeable and professional, always pleasant and eager to answer all our questions completely. This is an excellent company!
