The staff was welcoming and quick to get our pup taken care of… I felt reassured with the doctors ability perform surgery on him and to do what she needed to do to achieve the best outcome for Finley. The discharge process was quick and informative for his post op care. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the service provided and all the staff are wonderful. We would definitely recommend Charleston Veterinary Referral Center, I and would return if needed. Get Finn to the back for pain medicine
Literally a life saver! My doodle contacted Kennel Cough which turned into pneumonia with a very high fever. My vet was unable to do overnight stays so they called CVRC to see if they had room. Thankfully they did and I sped up to Charleston from Savannah. Very professional, and very busy but gave me all the time I needed with the vet. Johnny needed inpatient stay to get fever down and rehydrate. I left him knowing he was in the best hands. And he was! Was able to come home a day early. If, God forbid, either of my dogs needs emergency care, I will immediately take them there. The costs can be high, but this team works to keep the costs as low as possible.
This is one of the worst places. My pet bunny was dying yesterday and they wouldn’t accept her: yet they call themselves an animal hospital. Don’t call yourself an animal hospital if you don’t actually help all animals. You should feel ashamed I called early in the morning and if you would have helped her she may not have died. Horrible. My sweet girl is gone.
This vet is the most professional veterinary location I have ever been to. Our eldest dog was unfortunately in need of a lot of care. Charleston Veterinary Referral Center went above and beyond to care for him. You could feel how sincere and empathetic every employee was. We eventually had to make a tough decision but they were there for us until the very end. Highly recommend this veterinary office! Thank you for all that you do!
I felt that poncho was truly in knowledgeable and caring hands. After two bad experiences with vets in his case, charleston veterinary referral center made sure to keep me fully informed, explain everything to me, and help me feel heard in my concerns. I honestly thought my kitten wasnt going to make it but they did a great job at treating him and addressing his illnesses. Listen and explain
We moved here with my 9 year old rottie from blue pearl in Nashville TN for her cancer treatment and I was worried about finding her a good cancer Dr that does her same treatments as Nashville did. I was very much pleased with Charleston referral hospital, it was a very clean, professional place, affordable and great care for my dog. She loved her new nurse and Dr and did great. I feel better knowing I have a 24 hour vet any time an emergency happens and they are here for my baby rottie.
We experienced a very professional and caring atmosphere with all the employees from check-in to check-out. The Doctor took plenty of time with us explaining our dogs issues and alternative care.
We were seen quickly and everyone from the veterinarian to the receptionist was kind and compassionate. Gave efficient and professional care to my best friends dog while she was in our care.
From the first call to the first Vet consultation, its clear that your operation is first class in professionalism and first class in empathy. Provided the details, honestly and with sensitivity that put me at ease and feeling like Im at the right place.
The entire staff was amazing. They worked together as team, kept up communication and called me with updates frequently. They explained everything in detail and even laid out a summary of my payments before I left my pet in their care. The girls at the front were available and ready to answer any questions and were so great with dealing with how scared I was. The vets were also very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail so I didn’t leave with any questions. I will always use them as my emergency vet. They took great care of Leo and I can not say enough how much I appreciate everyone that took care of Leo!
The staff were fantastic! Everyone from the front desk team to technicians to physicians were just the best and most helpful. Contact and updates about pet status were great!
Yall took great care of our Tabby cat Mango. Thanks so much, the whole process was smooth and the empathy and customer service was amazing.
Everyone was very friendly and understanding from the moment we walked through the door. We were consistently kept informed of what was happening during Dooleys stay. The doctors were very thorough with their explanations and options, and answered all of my questions without a feeling of being hurried. Finally they never rushed us as we were saying goodbye to our pup.
Super friendly staff, they call you with check ups multiple times throughout the day and call after taking your pet home. They make sure you understand and will answer any questions. Overall impressed with customer service.
The internist I met with was very nice and genuinely cared about my pup. She explained everything to me thoroughly and made sure I understood everything before I left. Overall great experience! Everyone was extremely nice, professional and knowledgeable. I can tell my pup is in good hands.
My dog had been poisoned and we didn’t know if he would live. The doctors were awesome and very knowledgeable about poison. They saved him and he is doing great!!!!!!
An absolutely amazing team of people here who worked hard and really pulled for my dog to recover after ingesting rat bait. It was trying time to go through, but she was in great hands and they ensured her health and well being. Now, a couple weeks later, my dog is still with us and back to her old self. Huge thanks to the Drs, vet techs and staff.
We experienced the perfect blend of compassion and expertise. Everyone we met provided our dog Lilly with excellent treatment and when the news was not good, the doctor delivered the diagnosis of her illness with compassion and clarity.
I called a couple of times after our pets surgery and they were quick to call me back and were very professional and made me feel at ease.
The staff was extremely kind and understanding. We traveled 3 hours and had no idea of the procedures or wait time. In our stressful state of mind, it was difficult to understand how we would proceed, but the doctors patiently explained what was happening and what to expect. We feel confident that we can contact them 24 hours a day with questions or concerns from this point forward.
Top notch facility. Excellent care and outstanding staff. The team thoroughly explains the diagnosis, options, and recommended treatment (with costs). It is not cheap, but CVRC is well worth the cost. The Johns Hopkins of animal care.
We are very happy to have been referred by our Veterinary team to Charleston Veterinary Referral. All of the staff are Professional, Knowledgeable, Kind and Courteous. Their love for animals is obvious giving you confidence in them.
The vet tech Morgan was amazing. She made Nahla and myself included feel more confident and helped us look on the positive side of the IVDD surgery. Morgan treated Nahla with love, patience, and comforted her when I was unable to do so. I walked into the vet feeling sad and depressed. After coming in to learn a few things before taking Nahla home, Morgan made me feel more confident about every angle that comes with this type of emergency. Thank you! Care for my Nahla
Dr Epstein was knowledgeable, friendly and provided multiple options for Stella. I appreciated him being up front and honest. Provided options rather than whatever would benefit CVRC best.
We were very worried about our 4 yr old Golden Retriever. We brought him to this emergency center due to the closure of our vet for Memorial Day weekend. They took the time to evaluate him and return him to us. They referred us to an urgent care clinic that would be more appropriate for him and less expensive. I cant express how much we were relieved and grateful. The honesty and compassion was greatly appreciated.
All the staff I spoke with were extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I had to rush my cat in for an emergency visit for a high fever. Everyone seemed to be very open and upfront with me around what was going on with her, as well as the best plan of action to take. Any treatments/diagnostics were verified with me prior to moving forward with them which was extremely appreciated as budget was a concern for me going in so it was a nice peace of mind knowing I would not be surprised by any charges. Kept me in the loop of how she was doing as best they could when I had to leave her for a ~24 hour stay.
Dr Patricia Sura is outstanding. Her care, compassion, and professionalism for pets and pet parents is unmatched. A dedicated and driven surgeon who strives for good outcomes. Her communication with us went above and beyond. We are so thankful for her care. Dr. Fetterolf is a wonderful ER doc. She is very personable and listens to your concerns seriously. Also a very, very kind and compassionate doctor. Morgan is also super compassionate. She is patient and understanding of your questions and concerns. Her kindness with your pet is outstanding. Although the hospital advises you can communicate via text, I would recommend calling on the weekends. Unfortunately, weekend responses from the front office staff is sub par and does not get routed to the appropriate personnel timely (or at all, sometimes).
My dog Missy In the span of one hour showed extreme discomfort. She couldn’t walk a straight line, constant circling, panting, would not eat, cannot go to the bathroom, could not take direction, did not respond to calling and couldn’t lay down. When I called the hospital told him the symptoms they said to bring her down immediately. When I got there they came out as soon as I texted I was in the parking lot and got her. The waiting room is extremely comfortable and you can see the office staff. I was visiting Charleston and was not familiar with the area. Between the half hour drive getting there, her admitted, and getting home it took me just under two hours. They are very fast, very efficient and they seem extremely concerned for the health of your dog. They contacted me later that evening to let me know her heart rate was 250, white blood count was 35,000, temp was 103.5 and yes, it was something serious. I only had two more days to stay in Charleston and they were able to set Missy up to travel, back home, to my vet. They sent all test results to my vet . All tests were done with my knowledge. Long story short.. Canine Idiopathic Vestibular Disease(nickname is Old Age Disease) It mimics a stroke and is curable within 1-4 weeks.
We took our golden doodle, Molly to Charleston Veterinary Referral on an emergency basis. Molly’s neck had swelled and her breathing was belabored. She was really struggling for air. The staff saw her immediately and Dr. Torres came in to explain that after consulting with Molly’s oncologist, Dr. Rissetto, degranulation from her mast cell tumor was the cause for the inflammation. She was treated with steroids and we were able to take her home with instructions for medications prescribed. This is a wonderful facility, with caring staff who are always available. They call to follow up and check on Molly. We are lucky to have them so close.
Ive always heard this place was the best and they did not disappoint. I came in on a holiday with my dog that had a bite wound on her leg a little over an inch long with pocketing on either side. They were able to get her in quickly for a busy holiday. She got a staple, compression bandage for the pocketing, basic blood work, fantastic pain management and antibiotics. The bandage was very well done and must have been comfortable because it did not bother her at all and she wore it the whole 72 hours. Everyone from the front desk, my technician to the doctor did a fantastic job keeping me informed and comfortable about what was going on. Definitely recommend them if you need emergency or urgent services 👍
We told all staff about proper care for our dog. We were extremely detailed to tell the staff she needed to be muzzled during testing and care. They did not and she did bite a care giver at the facility like we knew she would without proper care and has been reported now to dhec on the incident. The doctor apparently had no idea she had to be muzzled. Even at checkout the care giver got down to face height with the dog....almost giving me a heart attack. Complete disregard on instructions
Everyone was kind and understanding. The front staff were professional but also made me smile as we cracked the occasional joke during payment. The Doctors answers any questions I had during and after her current discharge. They called in every day or every other day to check on things. This was her first real surgery and they made-- no, they proved that they care about their patients and their owners who care for them. I was worried about the whole thing, but now I feel much more relaxed knowing she is in such excellent hands. My mother wouldve been very thankful to you all for taking such good care of her cat. So thank you.Being direct and honest with me about what her diagnoses might be and double checked to make sure. Your kindness on every front, with every employee was wonderful. I was so worried about her but you all managed to make me smile every now and then and ease some of my worries.
Very caring people. Loved my furbaby. Their genuine concern for my dog was clearly displayed by everyone providing treatment. Also, their calm, kind interaction with us is very appreciated.
We are extremely grateful to have come to CVRC when our cat needed urgent evaluation for his labored breathing. To have all of the resources in one place made us feel comfortable in trusting that they would do all they could to help us find a diagnosis. We hope we never have the need for an emergency vet or an oncologist for our fur babies, but Dr. Luce and Dr. Rissetto are wonderful, caring, and knowledgeable. You all cared for us and for our pet, with knowledge and efficiency, from the front desk people to the vet tech staff. We are so grateful.
They helped me through one of the hardest times Ive faced. They didnt make it feel like I was just losing an animal, but my best friend. They took such good care of her and tried to keep things affordable while also getting her the care she needed. The empathy they showed me during this time was really valuable to me. I dont think I wouldve handled things as well without them.Kitty could not have been in better hands.
I knew that my dog was in good care. The appointment was quick for it to be at 1 am and Dr. Spain was extremely helpful throughout and after the whole process. Help me through was was the best for my dog. They werent trying to spend all of my money on her care.
Brody accidentally ingested zylitol. We went straight to the emergency vet. Knowing that time is of the essence, they took him right away. The staff were nothing but professional, communicative and caring. It was clear they are passionate about their mission. At the end of the day, we are incredibly grateful and would definitely recommend Veterinary Referral and Emergency Clinic.
My experience with CVRC has been great! The staff are efficient, knowledgeable, and kind. My dogs tail wags when he goes into the office, which says it all for me!
I cannot say enough positive things about CVRC. They took such good care of my sweet kitty, Thomas, when I rushed him in with a urinary blockage. They were swift with a diagnosis, quick to make sure he was comfortable and quick to come up with a treatment plan. A very rare complication occurred during the procedure to unblock him and they really took into consideration my sweet boy and how much I loved him. From A to Z, they were an absolute blessing.
Our dog, Penny, went into anaphylactic shock after being stung by an insect in our backyard. We rushed her to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center because it was close to our home. As soon as we ran inside, the medical team quickly took her back to the ER. They communicated to us clearly everything that was taking place and reassured us that Penny would receive the care that she needed. Soon after, the doctor came out to the waiting room and gave us an update. She was very professional and empathetic at the same time. We knew Penny was in good hands. We are so grateful for the quick response of the medical staff and all that they did for our sweet little Penny. She has made a full recovery!
I appreciated the honesty and care that Trixy and I received. We had to make a hard choice, but it was made easier by the honesty of our Veterinarian Dr. Luce. The quick diagnosis, treatment and discussion of prognosis made our decision easier.
I was more than pleased with my experience here, my dog Dune gets pretty serious anxiety going to any vet office and by the time we had to leave he was trying to go back into the office with the doctors. The vet explained everything clearly and you can tell everyone that worked there (at least who helped me) had a true passion for helping animals. The quality of care was incredible. I wouldnt think of bringing my dogs anywhere else!
Kristi’s behavioral help with our foster Bo was great and we are hopeful he will have a wonderful future. Always wonderful service and great communication. We love all the Vets here. Could not be happier with our dogs treatments. The level of care has always excellent. Much thanks from, Rita, Daisy, Freddie and Bo
What an amazing collection of compassionate professionals with an incredible array of specialty services! A key for us was listening to what WE were seeing in our pup and including our feedback in the diagnostic and treatment plan.
I trust my dog’s care to CVRC explicitly. She has chronic, acute pancreatitis and I feel so safe knowing they are available to us! The whole staff-Doctors, techs and front desk are remarkable. Gives me peace of mind knowing this fantastic group of professionals are available to us!
Such an incredible place. Very knowledgeable. Super clean and friendly environment. Kept shar-pei comfortable and out of pain. The first ER vet to diagnose her properly and give us test results back. This will be our go to emergency vet from now on. Highly recommend.
I received phenomenal service. I am very impressed with the professionalism of every employee I encountered. I am also impressed and grateful for the attention to detail, follow ups, and the comfort and care provided for my pet. My pet was treated as a number one priority despite having multiple patients.
All staff appeared to be efficient, organized, caring, and compassionate. The clinic was running like a well oiled machine, even upon the arrival of a pet having a dire emergency. Good Inter personal skills matter, thank you.
We were pleased with the quality and thoroughness of the examination of Stella right from the beginning when two members of your staff came out to my car. It continued through to the phone call with the Doctor who provided a detailed update of what was determined from the visit. When we were ready to check out, the same two staff that took Stella in CARRIED her out to me (she loved that treatment). Next, we received the Doctors notes in the same level of detail from the phone call. Your Center came highly recommended by our local Vet and her staff, and now we know why. High level of personal concern for our Stella (the ESS).
Cannot thank the staff at Charleston Referral Veterinary Hospital enough for taking such amazing care of our mini dachshund, Abigail. We had an emergency situation and were greeted with speed and professionalism from the very beginning. This place is organized and top notch! Dr. Klopp and her colleagues assessed our 11 1/2 year old and determined she needed surgery to alleviate the pressure from her disc extrusions. Not even 24 hours after surgery, Abigail was moving around and no longer in pain. They saved our pup and we will forever be grateful. They truly care about you and your dog and communicate everything clearly and patiently. They encouraged us to check on our patient for updates throughout her stay. We were especiallylucky to have found this hospital as we are not from the area and this incident unfortunately happened while we were visiting. Would recommend to anyone in an emergency situation. You and your pet will be in excellent hands!!- The Murphy’s and Abigail
Very knowledgeable and compassionate vet office. Very nice facility. I would highly recommend
Kind and patient staff, all costs were explained before tests were performed, the Doctor explained why he wanted to do each test and what results would mean. We ended up needing to euthanize my dog and the Doctor stayed 2 hours late so my husband and I could both come and say goodbye. They made a heartbreaking decision easier, we never felt rushed as we said our goodbyes and held our dog as he gently passed.
Everyone was DELIGHTFUL!!! I was so nervous about my kitty but everyone made me feel so comfortable. The doctor that spoke to me after Matisses Echocardiogram was gave me a lot of good information about his condition (or lack thereof) and I feel good about his heart health going forward.
The team at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center was amazing. Zoe, our bloodhound, was critically ill. They brought her back as soon as we arrived at the desk. They got her stabilized and got diagnostic studies done within a couple of hours. The veterinarian contacted me six times during the first 24 hours with updates. We had a very positive experience, they are so prompt, and the communication was excellent.
Every single member of this staff is compassionate, sensitive, knowledgeable, and overly eager to answer any questions you have. I dont think I would trust anyone else when it comes to being in a tough position with your pet. They took care of my Molly and explaining every option we have.
Dr. Spain was so very kind and helpful, explaining the situation, helping us to realize our beautiful Bella was not going to make it, and giving us all the time we needed to say goodbye after she passed. It was a gut-wrenching experience, but she helped us say goodbye, as Bella crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Excellent quality of care. They can do just about anything for your pet in need. Great communication and compassion
Very caring and empathetic to customer needs and anxieties. Customer service was exceptional.
Dr. Justin Goldberg lied to my partner multiple times today and implied over and over that there should be no reason for us to see the results of our cats bloodwork. He implied that we should just trust him and leave the cat there for 5-7 days and pay over $1000 without him justifying his diagnosis. Absolutely unprofessional. He has no clue how to conduct himself, and the entire process felt more and more like a scam as time went on.
My dog was diagnosed with severe arthritis several years ago. Her prognosis was not good. The therapy she has received changed her condition and she has been able to maintain. Her therapist, Tracy, has been wonderful.
Everyone was so nice & helpful. They treated Sissy like she was their pet. They cared!
We are so grateful to CVRC for taking such amazing care of several of our fur babies. The team of doctors go above and beyond our expectations every time. Shown love and compassion for our baby every time we come in.
Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable at Charleston VRC - I could tell they all really cared about my pet and wanted to help! I like how they kept in touch and checked in. They are very good at communicating, like sending me emails or calls with all the information I would need etc. Communication was clear and frequent throughout my dogs procedure and after as well. I would definitely recommend VRC!
We came in with an urgent emergency and the staff acted quickly right when we got there. They kept us informed throughout the entire process and helped us feel comfortable making multiple tough decisions. The sincerely cared for us and our pet and every action they did showed us just that. They made a stressful, emotional event a little better than it was.
Thank you for getting my nebula back right thank you for caring about my dog you guys rock
We were out of the country when our dog had an emergency. Our boarding facility took him in, they contacted us immediately and saved our dogs life with minimal stress on us since we couldnt be there. The surgeon was so patient with me as our phone calls kept dropping and having to communicate in very difficult circumstances. I knew our boy was in great hands. They saved his life and kept us informed the entire time. We have used CVRC before but this visit was above and beyond our expectations.
We felt very comfortable with the surgery. The Doctor was very knowledgeable and kept us updated throughout the process. We were constantly updated with the surgery status.
The staff was helpful and understanding from the first time I called Everything was done well. Everyone handled my worry so so well
The staff are very thorough, friendly, caring and take the time to explain everything. They cared for my pet like it was their own.
Care was quick, compassionate, comprehensive and everything was explained at each step along the way. Immediately took my pet back for treatment while the front desk worked on paperwork.
Cannot recommend high enough. Our 12 year old basset hound became suddenly unresponsive overnight. We honestly thought we were going to lose him. The staff at Charleston Veterinary were so professional yet sympathetic all the way from the person who took our call to the staff that came outside (because you know theres a pandemic....) to the veterinarian that called us to keep us updated to the care that he received. He RAN out of the door to us later that same day. Talk about relieved! Talk about happy! What a wonderful facility! If anything happens to your pet, go there immediately. They treat you and your pet like family, and thats really the way it should be.
Thank you all for taking such good care of our baby Dale. We were so worried when he swallowed that gauze but you guys took him back right away and then gave him back brand new with tail wagging. You also kept us up to date the entire time through phone calls on how he was and what you were performing which made me feel more at ease throughout the process.
Excellent response, care, TLC; exceptional communication clarity; overall best place to take your pet in an emergency. Great owner care, too! Uh, saved my dogs life!
I know if my pets need extensive medical attention, CRC is the best for my pets. The care and treatment has been excellent. Their compassion for my Juliette has been a blessing.
I wish I had all of the words. The entire staff is empathetic, pragmatic and down right Heroic. I cant be more satisfied with the thorough treatment and straightforward knowledge of my Truffles situation. Everything
Such a nice caring staff! They were so kind, helpful and comforting as we brought our son in for an emergency--which turned out to be anaphylactic shock. Dr. Odle was especially gracious and kept us updated.Obi (our son) has also had emergency back surgery here. God bless all of you at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center--youre a bunch of angels!
I brought my dog in today for an emergency visit after he was bitten by a snake. From the woman I spoke with on the phone initially while I was on my way there to the helpful vet techs and Dr. Torres, everyone was so kind and professional and worked quickly to help my pup in a very scary situation. I’m so thankful for everyone who helped take care of my baby and made sure he was okay, in a time of a lot of anxiety I felt much better knowing he was in such good hands!
Round the clock care for Boo. Had a venomous snake bite to his face. The team and doctors assigned to him kept me well informed on his condition. Kept info coming and took good care of him.
I left your flyer with my parents who are down at Edisto a lot in case they were to need any type of vet service for their two dogs. Not being familiar with the vets in the Edisto to Charleston area was really scary when we could tell Otis desperately needed to be seen, on a Friday after 6pm no less, so I will tell anyone I know about you guys, if anything to ease their anxiety and give them a name that I trust. The vets were great and explained what was going on with Otis in ways that we could understand, and everyones kindness was very reassuring. We could tell that you guys truly care for every animal that comes in, and that was extremely helpful as this is the first emergency we have had with Otis.
The Charleston Veterinary Referral Center did an outstanding job in every phase, from the check-in, testing, information, surgery, and overall care. They saved my cat Jasper. Dr. Sura kept me informed before and after the surgery. Dr. Sura and her team did an amazing job. Two days after surgery and Jasper was back to her athletic, purring self. I am so grateful to have a 24 hour hospital here in West Ashley to bring my cats. I cant thank these wonderful professionals enough for all they did for my cat.
The staff was amazing and I was at ease knowing my dog was in good hands for his hospitalization and surgery. The Veterinarian that operated on my dog called each day with updates on his pre, intra, and post operative status. Will go to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center with all my pet emergencies and special needs in the future.
Oscar’s heart rate dropped into the 20’s during the night. Staff were on top of it and gave him meds to bring it back up. If we hadn’t left him in their care that night, he probably wouldn’t still be with us today. So grateful for their caring and expertise.
Very pleased with visit, call-in check-in process, collecting my pet from my car, returning him and speaking to the doctor; overall experience at our visit. Communication - explanation of treatment needed
CVRC has been taking care of our pet for years. He has had a number of different challenges that have spanned a couple of different departments at CVRC, and we have always been satisfied with the care. Lately, drop-off and pick-up have improved tremendously.
Zoey is the young lady I spoke with she went above and beyond to help today. A lady stopped her car in front of my yard a dropped off a puppy no more than 7 weeks old. The poor baby was so sick and I couldn’t get help from anywhere. I called here and she was truly amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure this precious baby could get the care he needs❤️ Thank you so much for helping the sweet baby when I couldn’t find anyone else to do it!! I just wish there were a way I could know how he turns out❤️❤️
They were all very nice and gentle, helped me get through having to put down my best friend
Ive read a few of the bad reviews. This is an emergency vet hospital. If there are several critical furr babies that come in, those will be handled first. Each one is looked over, critical comes first. If you have ever taken your child to MUSC childrens hospital, the most critical comes first. That being said I have visited this vet hospital on several occasions. We have a 13yr old pup and our younger one is almost 3yrs. Our most recent visit was because our old pup was disoriented when I work up at 7am, acting drunk and eyes shaking side to side. When took him in right away, there was 2 other dogs same age in for the same symptoms. The staff were very compassionate, caring, and responded right away. Shadow, our furr baby doesnt like the vets office but they were very caring with him. Although we waited awhile, the parking lot was full. I was aware the wait might be, the diagnosis was vestibular, the veterinarian called went over all the causes or possible and treatment. Then she gave me the option to leave him over night or take him home to watch him. We chose home because he hates being in any vets office and we felt home would be the best. Shadow is food motivated so we fed him speical food, lol which he loved. He is still recovering but we are very satisfied with the services weve received.
Professional, knowledgeable, and responsive and left us with a plan of action.
CVRC is the worlds best!!! The have saved our Casey 3 different times now. The entire staff is professional & compassionate especially Dr. Clare, Chasity, Justin, Abbey, Katie and many more staff members. The have the state of the art diagnostics equipment that gives them the advantage over anyone else (we travel from over an hour away to come here). Our dog only comes here... Thank you to the entire staff for always taking care of our baby!!!❤️💯
Took excellent care of my dog, fixed her up quickly and were very friendly/ helpful :) thank you so much!
The staff was very friendly and made us feel like our pet mattered. They were very thorough and kept us updated at every step. They made us feel like our pet was in good hands.
I don’t have the words to convey how impressed I am with this hospital. My dog, Fritz was brought in 5 days ago with a 104 fever, extreme pain, lameness, lethargy, breathing issues, and no appetite or thirst. His general vet had no idea what the cause was and after many wrong turns and with his condition worsening I was referred here. I was impressed immediately with the professionalism, courtesy and compassion I received. I will always have nothing but the utmost respect and gratitude to Dr. Conrad, Dr. Lowe and Dr. Clare. These women are SMART and dedicated! Our little Fritz was diagnosed with an autoimmune mediated poly arthritis known as IMPA. We are confident now that we have him diagnosed he is on the long road to recovery. They answered our prayers and gave us calm in the middle of this storm. We are so grateful to your team of vets, vet techs and front desk for kindness at every turn. Truly blessed to have our baby home.
They quickly examined and diagnosed my Bella and gave me all options of care. They explained everything and most of all they cared for all of us not just our dog
Staff, doctors really care about my dog. They are detailed in their explanations and provide lots of support and follow up after visits.
CVRC always provides excellent care! We highly recommend them!
My dog needed ACL surgery in October. The initial visit with the doctor was great - she was so informative and was ready to answer any and all of my questions. I felt so at ease after speaking to her. I knew I could trust my dog in her care. After surgery, I decided to enroll my sweet girl in therapy. They do such an amazing job week after week and give you at home exercises to do during down time. I cannot encourage you enough to give them your business and trust.
You may have to put up with some phone call holds and wait time, but once your pet gets in the door expect excellent veterinary care and great service from the vet techs and support staff.
I was referred here, because our Yorkie was having a ton of issues. She was vomiting, not eating, and her eyes were jaundiced. As soon as I called from the parking lot, the staff was responsive and thoughtful. They gathered her entire history of symptoms, and everything else that she has been through. They called me with updates while she was hospitalized, and were so understanding that this was the longest Id been away from my Service Dog.I have a veterinary hospital in Savannah, that I drive PAST in order to take our furbabies to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center, and I have back problems. I will continue to take our kids there, because I know that they will receive the best care, and I will be treated with respect and dignity.
