I go here for my haircuts often. All of the barbers are skilled at all kinds of cuts regardless of hair texture. Hot towel treatments are included with facial cuts as well. I highly recommend everyone give this place a try.

My experience at official cuts was amazing. The shop was full of laughter and made me feel at home. Maurice took his time to cut my dad hair and arch my eyebrows. Recently visited Official Cuts. Kids waited for 2 hours. Picked them up to eat and brought them back at 6:00pm because the OWNER said he was closing up at exactly 7pm. My son went in and was told by him that he was only cutting the same people hair that we left there 2 hours ago. Its not like we were strangers, but regulars. I too am a business owner. But unlike Official Cuts, I have morals. You just lost an additional two to the ones you already lost. GOOD Luck!!!!

I dont even live in West Ashley it takes me about 25 minutes to get to this place from my house but this is the ONLY place I go to get my kids and myself haircuts! Never have I ever been charged first before service performed. Such unprofessionalism by the salon hair stylist who did the maintenance on dreads. Pricing was way over charged to tighten or do maintenance on a half a head of starter dreads that was already pre-existing .. she did not complete the job fully and wanted to charge additional cost for inner locking when maintenance is maintenance. All I want to do was find a person who wouldnt try to take advantage of a client. Such poor craftsmanship lack of professionalism and basically a ripoff especially when the job was half done. Maintenance of dreads for the new growth should have been tightened all the way to the scalp but the person was greedy and want to charge additional maintenance fee of $50 for a job that was incomplete in the first place .I can only say one thing positive of the dreads she did tighten them but should have completed them all the way to the scalp.

Offical cuts is a very kid friendly and a family oriented shop I have a toddle at the age of 3 and he does move in the barber chair a bit....the owner maurice who is my current barber as well has never turned away my kid because of this...instead he created a professional bond with my kid which made my kid feel comfortable because he no longer feel as though a stranger is cutting his hair....the entire staff is this way as well. As a mother I highly recommend offical cuts espically for 1st timers...I myself is not up to date with all the cut stlyes but at offical cuts they will educate you on all the stlyes their is to offer I truly apperciate this staff.
