I moved here a little over a month ago and have already been to 3-4 different places trying to find the right barber. Finally found CJs Barbershop and came in today for a quick haircut. Couldn’t be anymore pleased! Very great guy and wonderful service. Definitely will be back!!

CJ’s is the place to go to get a haircut! I’ve been going there for almost 4 years now. Had an appointment with CJ today. Got one of the best haircuts in my life, my beard has never looked better, and had an all around great experience. Definitely worth making the trip out!

Andy and CJ are great barbers and will get you looking rite. Being new to town and from the NY NJ area they know how to fade you out the rite way. These are my guys now

They don’t show up for work! Call on Tuesday for an appointment on Wednesday. Spoke with Ande and set it for 1pm. Show up on Wednesday at 12:55pm, shop closed. Wait until 1:05pm, still nobody there so I left. I get a call from Ande at 1:16pm and he tells me he was at lunch. So appointments don’t mean anything. I won’t be back.

Great atmosphere, not like most barbershop, diverse in conversation, open to different topics, local business that needs more appreciation for their quality of work. There pricing is very fair(For the service you get done). Gentlemen (barbers) don’t forget to check out Smokey oak for the BBQ, and Brisket! It was a pleasure.

My experience is always awesome. It’s the Black man/ Keep It Real cafe where we can talk about everything in our lives that can be turned from negative to positive. I love it there.

One of the better barbershops around here. Ive been coming here on and off for years based on my schedule and where I work. I like that the only thing thats changed is customer service is better. I call ahead, and despite having difficult hair to cut, from the time I park to the time I leave, Im usually in and out with a pretty good cut in 40 mins for a fair price. I have gotten better cuts here and there, and I honestly dont think its worth it. I like the consistency and their ability to work with my schedule. If youre in the area and you dont have a regular barber give this place a shot.

EVERYONE here cuts very well. Waits can be a little long but nothing unusual considering how many people enjoy getting their hair cut here. Hidden in a beautiful corner of the Lowcountry, this place deserves your patronage as much as you deserve a good cut.

I was getting my fro cut down for the first time in a while. They made sure to make me comfortable, and gave me a totally even fro that I could style in anyway I want. My hair feels SO much better after my appointment.

Im new in town and it took me awhile to find a barbershop and Anderon gave a great fade and shave. The 2 barbers are excellent barbers and know thier trade. Appointment is highly suggested. Ill definently be getting my cut here.

Moved to West Ashley about a month ago and needed to find a barbershop for my 11 yr old son. Good vibes from the second we walked in the door. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Charles was great with my son (he’s a little shy) and his haircut was on point. My son walked out saying he found his new barber.

Ive been going to Anderson at CJ’s Barber for years. He always does a great job cutting and styling my hair. Everyone in the shop is professional, courteous and aims to please the customer. Overall the experience at CJ’s is great.

We stopped into CJ’s today and were pleasantly surprised with the wait time, the quality of the haircut and the good customer service. No doubt worth the drive from James Island. We will be back!!

Coming from out of state and working in a field where it can be hard to find a good barber. CJS makes the cut, no pun intended. The team there were awesome and it reminded me of the shops back in Jersey and NYC.

Im from out of town and found this shop.Was greeted immediately and gave warm welcome. Got seated quickly with Anderson and told him what I wanted. He made sure to get the details before my haircutut. He made conversation easy and professional. The haircutcut was exactly what I asked for and quick. Highly recommend Anderson. You wont be disappointed.

I went with the Hunny on his first time here for a haircut. Has that barbershop feel to it -- not really modern decor and decent seating area considering we waited over 90 minutes on a Saturday a little before 1pm --- walking in to sitting in chair to walking out. Expected a wait, just not THAT long. At least three barbers on deck, I believe. Just a suggestion -- invest in more comfortable seating if wait times are usually excessively long and possibly better entertainment, maybe a good Pandora station palatable to clients or more variety in reading options. TV on but nobody really interested with what was on and remote was missing. Barber did apologize for that, but Im not a tv person so it didnt bother me any. Barbers very engaging. I enjoyed that.With waiting so long, I saw many people get their hair cut and it seems as if everyone left very satisfied. Almost forgetting they waited so long because the cut was worth it. Barber (unsure of his name) did a great job on haircut itself, but the Hunny shouldve communicated better about what he wanted done exactly because he wasnt entirely satisfied. I place the blame of unsatisfaction on him, not the barber. May return again, just not on Saturday unless haircut is dire necessity.
