Rude employees. VERY RUDE EMPLOYEES. Overpriced cafe. Weight room is tiny. Gives the impression that being there is a privilege despite you paying TOO much money as a customer per month for a lacking facility. Elitist garbage only for people who want a faux-gym experience thats all too luxurious for what a health club should be.

Chase and I had our first encounter over the phone, when I was upset over being charged while not using the gym due to COVID. I thought it was in hold... turned out to be my mistake. I wasnt at my nicest during that call! This was my first week back at the gym. I had to add my daughter to the membership. Chase helped me. I then saw him while I was outside by the pool. Turns out a lot of my neighbors go there and they all had great things to say about him. Chase was super professional and nice to me! Even though I wasnt great to him during our phone call a few months prior. I told everyone in our group there and they all agreed, hes super nice to everyone there. I appreciate how kind he was! Great club! Worth every single penny!

The improvements to this club are continuous. They upgraded the air filtration system so we can exercise without fear of infection. They schedule time between classes in the studios so we can exercise without masks. I know of no other club going to these extreme measures of safety. If this club is more expensive than others it’s worth it given all the safety measures they have in place.

They dont want new clients or new members. They send you endless emails about joining their High end club - then you call to ask if you can come in for a 1 day try out, and the powerhouse sales team they have working there asks on the phone what are your plans when you come in ? - Then tells us its $30 a visit. All I can do is laugh - another over-bloated business that could care less about its customer service or reputation. We are so awesome is the mentality here. Dont even waste your time. However - the black rock coffee in the same parking lot is outstanding. So just grab a coffee there and leave the village in the rear view mirror.

Anna and the ladies at the front desk for the spa/nail salon are wonderful! This was my first time ever coming to this nail salon and I will definitely be returning! Everyone is so friendly and made my experience extremely enjoyable and relaxing. Anna hands down provided the best mani/pedi I’ve ever had, she is extremely skilled and has many years of experience under her belt, which was very clear to see! Thank you everyone for a lovely time and I can’t wait to come back!

I expressed interest in this facility, and I regret it. I was given a trial pass to experience a workout there before making the commitment to join. The first day I went I was playing basketball by myself with no one around me. My mask fell below my nose because that is what a mask is going to do if you’re being active. An employee sees me from the weight room, and proceeds to walk at least 500-600 feet to tell me to pull my mask over my nose(which I was doing even couple minutes or so anyway). Here’s the kicker other members are lounging with their mask below their nose or off, and he says NOTHING to them. I expressed my concern with this employee to Mary(membership director), and I have yet to receive a response from her. Clearly this place has no code of ethics. I also did not notice any people of color, and I strongly feel that is a part of why my concern was ignored.

Great environment and people. Love getting a good workout in then sitting down and getting some work done. Our little ones love the Kids Club and the staff, its nice to be able to workout and trust theyre in good hands.

This place is overall pretty good. But this short old lady(not trying to be offensive) was yelling to us for no reason. My buds and i were always scared when we walked in and saw the lady.

I love this place! Very nice and clean and Ive done some yoga and some fitness classes and they have been very good. some of their activities are really cool.

Village is an outstanding combination of fitness opportunities with great equipment and accessible but challenging group workouts coupled with resort like experiences. I love how folks who work there have access and use the facility as well as know my name and are always friendly and welcoming. Other members are professional and smart with a great balance of families and individuals. Whether having lunch at the cafe, getting a massage, or sweating it out, going to the village brings clarity and balance to my day. Definitely worth talking to Chase about becoming part of the village family.

Always clean and well run. Staff are friendly and helpful. Yoga teachers are all professional and excellent at their job. They keep us motivated and eager to improve. All-in-all The Village is an excellent value.

Wow. This club operates on a different level. Every staff member I encountered greeted me and was friendly. Even just walking by the towel desk. I had my first experience at a Village Spa and this was spectacular. The masseuse McKenna was amazing. The spa desk was so friendly and it was HUGE that I could charge tip to my account. Every touch at this club is luxurious. The fluffy towels, tropical scented body products, cool spray in the steam room, and the ambiance of music and outdoor channels on TV.

Not too bad. Only been a handful times i couldnt work out because nursery didnt have enough staff to watch my kid.Basketball courts are often taken for private volleyball lessons in the evenings. Not bad for 200 a month membership everything considered

I love this place! Beautiful grounds and friendly staff. My toddler always has a great time in the kids club. I couldn’t be happier with this place. It’s perfect for the whole family!

Ive been going here for 4 months & honestly this Health Club isnt as great as you would think.First off you end up paying so much money for such little benefits. You get free water, coffee, & towels, thats about it. You spend your hard earned money on a expensive membership with no little to no value.Membership department is down right horrible. Kasey & Sterling DO NOT know how to do their job. Kasey cant even lift a finger without running over to Sterling to ask for help, she cant even use her computer to check something without his help (Its actually kind of sad). Sterling is very passive aggressive and always gets his way regardless of your feelings. All the Membership department actually cares about is meeting their quotas & DO NOT care about you. I had to get called into Membership numerous times because my card wasnt going through when I had well over $5000 in my account. Their system is so bad and they DO NOT even know of to bill a credit card. Its sad that Management would even hire Sterling and Kasey. If you still end up going to The Village after reading this, youll always find a Party in the Membership department when you walk in. The Membership depart is horrible and should be changed out immediately with people who actually care and want to provide you with a good experience.I actually appreciate the other staff there they do good work and are very friendly (because they are mostly nice young kids).You think if you pay a good amount of money the people would be nicer, NOT. Good majority of the people (not all) are pretty snobby. If you like having people come up to you while on a workout machine and ask you How much longer will you be? then this is the place for you. You will find that the people who go to golds gym to be more considerate that this place. The mens showers are full of used razors and around the lockers there are used towels everywhere. The cleaning staff trys to keep the place clean but sometimes the men that go there are slobs.Overall, this is a Health Club if you just want to impress some friends.On the outside this Health Club looks great, but once to go inside youll find Bad Management, worse Membership Department, and rude people.Pros: You Feel Expensive, Decent Food, Friendly young workersCons: Membership Department, Management, Price you PayI hope this review gets to the right people and fixes all these problems

The classes and boot camps are great as are the facilities overall. The trainers put real thought into changing up the program every week so no two classes are alike. I highly recommend. You definitely get what you pay for.

The facility and tennis courts are great and overall I would recommend this place to friends and family, however there is a short, blonde older lady that sometimes works behind the counter at the cafe that is just plain rude. I was waiting in line today to order and when it came to my turn all she did was look at me and waited for me to say something first. No what can I get for you? or anything. And the entire time she took my order she didnt smile once. Talk about a mood killer. I had just finished a workout and was getting ready to go home with some delicious lunch from the cafe and I ended up leaving in a bad mood just because of her. I cant imagine how many other people today were also a victim of her awful attitude. Please teach this lady some customer service skills.

I got a trial membership here and this place sucks. The lady showing me around (I think Casey) kept on bugging me to get a membership and every time I saw her she would be very pushy.There was a good variety of machines and weights but EVERY gym has that. I felt like if you actually pay to go to this gym you would find some better machines or something.This gym is a little to expensive for my taste and I think if your just looking to run and do weights you would be financially better to go to another gym (literally 4 gyms within 2 or 3 miles of here)Not worth the free coffee

*Discrimination Here* I decided to apply for a tour here five days ago online. I ended up not getting one email or phone call back from them at all so I had a friend apply his name and he put in a address for a much more expensive home than my apparently cheap 700K home and guess what he got a call literally the following day from a female so interested in showing him around. I was told by a friend out of surprise that they do background checks and look at your homes prices and location online apparently from a friend that I contacted that used to work there. This place among people and customers has allot of negativity. I can personally see why now. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt but they obviously proved everyone correct oh remember folks only the best will do here.

Simply the best place to play and take tennis lessons in Chandler, Arizona.They have 7 brand-new outdoor tennis courts, 4 or 5 tennis coaches on staff, 2 ball machines, and many people of different levels to play with.The tennis experience here is enhanced by all the awesome amenities like the swimming pools, the gym, the spa, the cafe, indoor basketball, childcare services, and locker rooms.

Great place clean and professional. Great exercise classes and pool facility except the lap pool is pretty small with just a few lanes .

We love being members here. Staff is friendly and most of them know us by name. The kids care is great. Facilities are always clean and have alot of classes and machines to offer. There is Monthly events for both adults and children.

I love this gym. I visited the spa today for a mani-pedi and Susan was fantastic. She was professional and caring. I could not have had a better experience. I can’t wait until next time.

Very well-maintained facilities. Tons of stuff to do there. Weight room is a bit lacking for powerlifters, but has everything you need to train as long as youre creative.Overall, best gym.

This health club and spa may seem like an amazing and wonderful place! And of course I thought so too at first. I have been going to this club for about half a year almost everyday consistently. I was a regular customer here and I am familiar with everyone that works here. I enjoyed using the Villages equipment and services as well as contributing and purchasing a lot of their goods. Until I encountered their unprofessional and extremely rude customer service. I cannot believe the treatment I have received from the people at the membership department. I have not only been contributing and benefiting this health club, but always paid the unreasonable payments monthly without any complaints or problems. I have not only been pulled aside once but two times from my workout due to their own fault and their lack of doing their own job. I clearly remember one of the membership department staff, Kasey Miller, talking down to me and just flat out degrading me, treating me like I was some criminal when I have done nothing but paid my monthly dues, contributed, supported, and utilized the services provided to me. She has treated me and basically saw me as some atm that she can get easy cash out of. I was immensely disappointed, but more furious and disgusted of how the staff can be so aggresive and narrow minded. I just can not believe how they run the place and do their jobs. Honestly, the only decent employees at the Village health club are the front desk and cleaning workers.This place is a joke and the membership price is ridiculous, if you are a upper middle class like I am. And the fact that they have the audacity to cheat you for more money is just disgusting and outrageous.

Great facility, classes are fun, and social opportunities a plenty. This is different as its a fitness club with great happy hours and opportunities to meet people.

The staff is friendly and knows me by name. The club may get busy, but is never crowded and it typically sudsides within an hour or so. My family is healthier and is spending more time together since we got the membership.Random comments:I left a complaint in the suggestion box and the problem was fixed within 24 hours and a staff member contacted me to discuss the resolution. I couldnt ask for more!Its more expensive than other gyms, but you have so many more fitness options than cardio and weights going here! The indoor track and racquet ball courts are awesome to beat the heat in summer!They keep the facility clean, which cant be said for other gyms in the area.The cost seems high, but I havent noticed a net difference in my finances because we changed our lifestyle. Instead of going out to eat and drink multiple times a week, we spend time at the Village and go out less. We still get great entertainment, my budgeting hasnt been effected, and now we look sexy and feel fit when when we do go out!Only problem I really have is upper middle class folk with entitlement issues, but what can you expect at the price point and location? Most folk here are friendly and good people that are actively working to maintain their health.
