I took my 6 year old in for a haircut with Beni. Although Beni is young and new at this craft he did a phenomenal job on my boy’s hair. I told him online what I was looking for. He confirmed when we arrived and continued checking in with me throughout the cut to ensure we got what we wanted. Beni takes his time and is thorough. If you need something specific, just ask!Update: we had to sneak In a haircut for family photos. Our usual didn’t have openings for the last minute cut. Gracson did a fantastic job and is also attentive to detail.FYI- the music is also on point. It’s a range of great hip hop and rap. I feel like I’m at a junior high dance when I hear the jams from my childhood 😆 That’s a compliment 😃

I got the best hair cut this afternoon by one of the most humble young men I have ever met. Was incredibly accommodating constantly showing me every time he did the final touches to my haircut had great convo and just felt welcome and appreciated. Definitely will be returning again for a long time. Oh and the gentlemans name is Gideon. Thats my new favorite barber will definitely book another appointment in the next few weeks best place to get cut right now.

Been going here for about 6 months to get my cut now and havent been dissapointed since. The atmosphere is good and they make sure to take their time to make sure everything looks the way it should. Would recommend giving them a try!

I’m the kind of person that used to get a regular hair cut from the same barber for over 8 years strictly because I don’t trust anyone to mess with my hair. Due to relocation I decided to try supreme fades and I feel like it opened a whole new world to me. The guys there are humble and passionate about the job and treat it like a form of art. I get my hair done by Athell Kim and this dude got some talent. He takes his time and pays attention to details. He uses the machine, scissors, and a shaving blade. So for $20 you get way more than what you pay for. I would highly recommend this place to guys who want something more than just a simple hair cut.

Great guys here. They spent a lot of time making sure everything was correct. Make sure to make an appointment because theyre pretty busy. They accept card and cash.The location is easy to miss. Theres a small door between Busey Bank and Murphys Pub; the shops on the 2nd floor.

Been going to Athell Kim for a year and some months now, never disappoints. Prices are nice plus a welcoming atmosphere. Make sure to book ahead of time, can be busy during the school year. Highly recommended barber and barber shop.

They just opened up on Green St but the experience these barbers have is second to none. Juan, the owner, did an amazing job with my haircut. He was very welcoming the moment I walked in the door and made me feel right at home. I will NOT be going anywhere else. Thanks again Juan!!

As an exchange student for a semester I was looking for a good barber. Several friends recommended me to go here to get a good haircut and it was a really good one! The price is $20 for a haircut and they always take the time to give you a great haircut!

Dope barbershop! Best in the town hands down. Super clean and worth the money as well organized. The head barber Juan was my barber and he always had me looking fresh!

I was really happy with my experience at this barbershop. Juan Flores, the owner, is one of the nicest guys cutting right now. He always takes the time to cut me how I want it, and does a great job with eyebrows as well. I always book ahead with him so I can fit in a cut in between class breaks. His shop is clean and modern, and he plays good music. If youre a guy on campus there is no other place you should be getting your hair cut in Champaign.

Doesnt get much better than J-Flo and the rest at Supreme Fades! Hard to imagine having anyone else cut my hair. Plus Juan owns the place and is making his dream a reality and its hard to beat that passion.

Supreme Fades is hands down the best place to go to. The environment is nice, clean and makes you feel like you’re at home. The barbers are very friendly and professional. Ive been getting haircuts from Juan for a few years now. He is the only person I trust to cut my hair. He is amazing at what he does and he also is very passionate when it comes to being a barber. I HIGHLY recommend going to Supreme Fades to get a haircut or lineup! Definitely check out this barber shop if you are in the Urbana-Champaign area!

I would say this is the most unprofessional haircut I have ever had. I made an appointment with Athel Kim and thought he’s a good barber by the babershop’s Instagram pictures. I didn’t notice how bad it is until I go home and see both side isn’t even the same. My right side got a high bald fade and left side is like an incomplete mid fade. In addition to that, my right front side is like losing a part of hair because of the mistake he made. I told him to do some scissor cut for the top, and I can tell that he didn’t know what he’s doing at all. I think he didn’t learn how to cut before having this job. I had to go home and took out my razor and scissor to fix my own hair. Overall, if you have $20 to spend on a haircut, please avoid going here. Or you could give your friend $20 and I can guarantee that he could do a better job than Athel’s since he is trash. Even $8 haircut in great clips is way better than this. If you really want to try it out, you can expect to either fix the cut or wear a cap in the next 3 weeks.
