Great location close to campus with a stellar view of the castle. Residence was very well kept and up to date. Management works well with their tenants and try their absolute best to meet residents needs.

I stayed at Tri Countys 908 South Locust St. for 4 years - the entire duration of my graduate program. I had an extremely pleasant experience staying there, and my interaction with Tri Countys staff was always positive. Maintenance requests were addressed within a day. The rent is very reasonable. Their staff never entered the apartment without at least a days notice. I had to vacate a few months before my lease ended. Not only did LaDonna find another tenant to take over my lease, but she also returned a check that I had given as advance payment! What more can any tenant ask for? I cant recommend this company enough. Thank you LaDonna, Stan and Dave!

I think this apartment is very spacious and the rent is pretty decently priced to be so close to campus. However, I think it’s important that tenants take pictures when they first arrive and when they leave because LaDonna will lie and say the place was dirty even if you left it spotless so that she doesn’t have to give you the whole security deposit back. Not only that, she charged me because underneath the sink was “very badly damaged” that was due to a leakage that occurred several times during my stay there. That was not my problem. Also, if she asks you to move out early so that a new tenant can move in, DON’T. She’ll end up making you pay the last month’s rent once they “decide not to move in”.

My friend and I lived at the 1627 7th st apartments for a year and a half. LaDonna was great and always there if we needed something fixed in the apartment. The space was big and well taken care of. We were sad that we had to leave. We also understand that there will need to be repainting and more cleaning, even tho we cleaned the apartment before we left, because that’s what has to happen when you prepare an apartment for new tenants. The labor and supplies for that cost money (ie. the security deposit). I don’t know why people are so pressed about it in the reviews here. I will be recommending these apartments to anyone who goes to EIU. The best place I’ve lived at by far!

I lived on Locust St for several years and had a great experience. Maintenance was prompt, LaDonna was always reasonable, and I got my full deposit back. They also didnt charge extra for two of us in a one bedroom. And the rent increased very minimally each year, if at all for returning tenants.

I lived on the first street complex next to the circle k. One of the landlords/managers, LaDonna Wrzosek, would constantly harass my roommates and I with her vulgar attitude. She would schedule showings and make us have our home in “top shape” only for her not to show up or notify us. The one time we were unprepared for a showing, she came into our apartment talking to us like children and with an attitude despite our numerous apologies (mind you no apologies were ever granted to us). She recently stormed out our apartment and slammed our door which prompted me to write this review because we have had enough of the disrespect. The apartment was decent but having to deal with this unprofessional bc lady has made us never want to sign a lease with this company again. BEWARE.

While searching for an apartment, I questioned the fact many of their listings did not have interior photos, and the responses were very passive aggressive. They then took information from my facebook profile pertaining to my schooling (which hasnt been updated to reflect current status) and commented about that, which was very unsettling and creepy. Wouldnt rcommend them based on behavior.

BEWARE OF LADONNA! She took majority of our security deposit and we disputed it and then she ended up taking more. She is the worst landlord ever. She does not help with anything while you are in your lease. She is only worried about money! DO NOT LEASE WITH TRI COUNTY MANAGEMENT! The WORST PLACE I EVER STAYED!
