They did an awesome job. My vehicle had to be towed in and their tow driver John communicated his arrival time well and was very professional. Due to the fact I was from out of town I waited at the shop for my repair. Although I was there for several hours the waiting area was comfortable, and they had a courtesy driver there who offered to take me anywhere I needed to go, even just to pick up lunch and come back. The mechanics informed me of the issue and repaired it the same day. Overall I was very pleased with the staff and shop.

Great staff, immediate service, effective repair at a reasonable price. I was 2 days out from using my van and trailer to move across country. I had different shop install the brake controller in my van to control the trailer brakes, but it did not work. Papas was recommended to me, so I took the van and trailer into Papas Within 4 hours they had diagnosed and fixed my trailer brake issues. Apparently the other repair shop screwed up the brake controller installation. Papas charged me half as much as the shop that installed the brake controller incorrectly.

I had a pick up in Cedar Rapids and noticed leak on the rear drive axle due to worn seal. Brake shoes oil soaked. Called this shop at 3:30pm and they told me to come in. I was out of shop and back on the road by 6pm!!! For this kind of service more than reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys and happy to have them on my map!

Im from the Chicagoland area, happened to be in Cedar Rapids for a delivery and my truck started leaking diesel. I was able to make it to the shop and they got me in and out at an affordable price. Professional and honest, Im a very happy customer!

Thefts charge 1hr labor for tire change, they said tire is $300 but they charge me $399, $580 for trailer tire. Criminals!Update: $580 for chepaset trailer tire, how would you call yourself??? I called and someone told me that you can’t do anything about that. Shame on you!

Folks were super friendly. However, it took them 6 hours to get to me roadside after a quote of 3 hours due to afterhours call. Driver was very friendly and performed his job well once on site. The slow trend continued once at the shop. Kenworth is 5 minutes from the shop. I literally was just getting a starter replaced. 6 hours in the shop and an almost 1100 dollar bill later they finally managed to replace a 2 bolt/3 terminal starter.Great guys. Great attitudes. Not very timely though.

Had a local delivery in the area on a Sunday and couldnt offload due to a problem with the truck wet kit. Called Papas up, met the mechanic at the shop, he got my truck fixed up after a little parts run and allowed me to get my load delivered that afternoon. The mechanic was very personable, but would not allow me to take the old Ford CL 9000 cabover out on the lot for a spin! 😂 Thank you for the excellent service!Came in again on 11/8/19 needing trailer repairs, hydraulic line on trailer blew out and also had a tire going flat. The guys went right to work on repairing the trailer, working threw their lunch in the cold weather, replaced the lines and bought a used trailer tire and I was back on the road to make my delivery. Papas fixing us up again!

Got my truck in very shortly after I arrived, very polite kept in touch with what was going on and if i wanted to do certain repairs. Got my truck back in a little over 24hrs and working great. Will definitely be using papas again if i need any repairs and am in the area.

Awesome they responded immediately. The carrier bearing went out on KW . They towed and fixed the truck within a few hours. And I was surprised at the fair rate I paid. Less than I expected by half.

I seem them all the time at Cedar River Mill. They take of CRST spotter trucks when need be. But I work there. Cedar River Mill has used them too. And they tell you what your problems might be so you can fix yourself ?

I needed Road service, they said they would be there in 1.5 hrs. They showed up on time to my surprise. If needed again Id call them.

I was at the pilot my truck would start but wouldnt stay running. They were at the pilot within 10 minutes of me calling and had my truck running soon there after. The guy that showed up was very polite and if Im ever broke down in Cedar Rapids again Im calling this place.

They helped us tow three semi trailers today, the price was beyond awesome!!! They also do wonderful mechanical work on my company trucks, they have always been honest and helpful. I would definitely give them my recommendation.

I had an air leak on one of my tires and I needed a patch.Not on a line and was worked on when I got there.It took this shop two hours to get my patch doneAfter waisting my time I ended up Late for my delivery AptAnd they charged 275 Dollars for one semi truck tire patch .I resisted to pay that amount they later told me to pay $171 Dollars for one semi tire patchWatch out for this Truckers.

As an owner of a truck and trailer company ourselves, we are very impressed with Papas. They got our driver right in (and before 8am) to get our trailer door hung. Very reasonable prices that they are upfront about and great customer service. If we are in need of a repair in this area again, we will be returning!

I have no experience with their abilities to service vehicles. I do however have experience with one of their fleet vehicle drivers on I-380. At ≈8:55 PM on Saturday 19Oct19 I was passed by one of their vehicles doing well over 80 mph in a 70 zone. I called the phone number on the truck to let someone know that their driver was speeding excessively and weaving in and out of decently heavy traffic on wet roads with dense patchy fog. The answer from whoever answered the phone was Hes probably in a hurry. Well that makes it ok huh. So I reitteraded the driving conditions and told him the driver was being reckless. He didnt seem to care one bit. So, go to Papas to get your vehicles fixed. Just stay away from them on the road. They dont seem to care about the safety of others.

Very nice people and they helped my husband with the horse trailer and showed him how the leaver in the truck got hit and how to adjust it so it didnt feel like we were being pushed by a horse trailer they didnt even charge us. Great people

I had a squealing from the front of my rig, I thought water pump, but nop it was the tentsioner pully! They fixed that with a few other things. And I got out of there under $1000! And for a big rig to get out under that....it was amazing! Great job guys!

They are by far one of the worst truck shops around! Uncertified mechanics, a shop lot with craters the size of of your truck. They have damaged my truck, over charged and completed one of the worst annual inspections I have every seen. I found air leaks AFTER I picked it up from getting an annual inspection!! Lol Amateur Hour around this place
