Since moving here in late January everything has been very good. We have a great location here close to restaurants and shopping. The few times we needed maintenance it has been taken care of in a very timely manner. The Management Staff is always easy to communicate with.

We showed up at our appointment time to tour the site. We were told to go to an open apartment and that a concierge texting bot would help us. This was supposed to be a real person, though, not a bot. The apartment was locked and we were texted that they would open it. Then nothing. No response, no help. I texted back, not response. When I called to report the issue, the line cut out and a pre-recorded message came on the line to take a survey. They make a very bad first impression.

I would like corporate number and I’ve try multiple times to talk to the manager upfront but they just ignore me or they’re very rude. They try to evict me wrongfully and I have receipts that I paid rent this is the second time it happened. They also changed my garage door without me knowing and they did it all wrong and they left my door unlocked for I don’t know how long it doesn’t even lock people can just walk into my garage and steal my things!!!! No notification whatsoever either. Especially with maintenance they just help them self into your home when you put in a notice for repair or some thing they don’t tell you when you they are going. One incident I was in my room dead asleep and they didn’t even knock and just walked in and started helping them self and my dogs are barking. Another one is well It’s not my fault my dog is train to protect so one other time the maintenance guy got mad because my dog was out and he try to go into my apartment he should of gave notice or something but didn’t. This is just sad and we been here for a year and even when we first moved in the manager would overcharge us and I’m convinced that that extra money we’re paying wasn’t even going towards what they say was going towards.

They were super responsive for a while, then ghosted for questions. Came back strong and answered everything I needed, even set up a zoom session since the storm threw out my plans to come out to visit in person. Ghosted again. Seems like a great place, communication is a bit spotty though unfortunately.

We were looking to move here and fell in love with it on its website but wanted to set up a walk through just to be sure. We’ve been booked 3 different times within 3 weeks to go walk through and they cancelled either the day before or day of. Today we were booked for 12pm and they cancelled 2 hours before the appointment. Yesterday when we booked they said the apartment was empty and today they say the residents need to stay another week? If that’s the case I understand but don’t tell me the day before that they had already moved out. One cancel and I would understand, 2 maybe things are busy I get it, but 3 weekends in a row... Um no. We will be looking elsewhere.

Update: They were able to figure out that the A/C unit had a leak somewhere. It was an old unit and they decided to replace it. It’s been working great and baby has been sleeping comfortably. I appreciate them quickly identify the problem and getting it fixed. The maintenance guys were great and respectful and mindful of the baby being in the house.Just submitted my 3rd service request this week for the A/C. Yes they have “fixed” it both times this week, but it’s gone out the next day. Since they fixed it both times I haven’t messed with the thermostat. Just switched it from circulating to cool. I usually am not a complainer. But I have my baby, he was born 3 months premature and we just brought him home a littleOver month ago. He still has issues regulating his body temperature and easily gets overheated. It can be dangerous for any baby to get overheated, but especially preemies. It’s obvious whatever they’ve been doing isn’t working. It’s time for them to really figure out what’s going on.

Been here 3 years without incident (if you ignore the multiple pool closures, broken entry/exit gates, and water shutoffs). Just got fined $25 for setting my trash outside my door. Set it out at 6pm while cleaning. Went to take it and other trash to the dumpster at 8pm to find the fine notice. Wow. Barely 2 hours. Thats cool. Kiss my recommendations good bye. Hope its worth the 25 bucks for you.

Apartments are reasonably priced, the area that the apartment building is in is really nice and has lots of close places to do shopping, places to eat, do groceries and near by parks to take my kids. Id highly recommend this place if youre thinking about moving around the Cedar Park area.

Horrible! The lack of respect for residents is disgusting! They call it your apartment-home and most certainly do not treat you as if your a resident in their community. Ive had problems from the day I picked up the keys and its only been 2 months. Ive heard from other residents that they have had lots of problems as well and the horrible customer service from Doug and Jennifer is unacceptable. I have called the customer service line a couple of times now especially after there was water RUNNING DOWN MY WALL from the apartment above. If given a choice I would find another place to rent and I plan on moving out ASAP!

Ive lived in this apartment for 2 weeks & have had the worst experience of any apartment complex Ive ever lived in.Ive tried being polite & patient, but having to clean up floods, & deal with being without an a/c in 90 degree weather 5 times (in 2 weeks I repeat!) is unacceptable.I bet they would try harder to fix it if I could legally without rent for every day I have to deal with this!

My family and I lived at this complex for over two years. We had a couple issues in one apartment with fleas and the a/c going out, but they were fixed within one to three weeks. The complex is clean and there is plenty of parking. Everything is well lit at night and it is very, very safe. The manager always answered our emails in a timely manner. There were also events for the kids on holidays. We received a fair portion of our deposit back after moving out.

The attitude and the condescending conversation with a person that is fairly new (Lauren). Miss stating facts for no apparent reason. Most people are very help but already this new person is setting a bad example of customer service. Blaming me for transferring time and offering me to stay in my old apartment after I have already packed up, rented a truck, scheduled transfer of my utilities all because they do not have e the apartment ready at the time I was told.

First off, let me start by saying that Jenny and Doug are amazing! None of what I am about to say is directed toward them at all! My problem is with Brandee. Upon move out, my fiancee and I were charged $500 for carpet damages due to our cat. I completely own up to the fact that my cat caused the damage to the carpet and was entirely aware that it would need to be replaced. However, I was under the impression that when I paid the deposit for my cat, it would cover the cost of damages. You would think thats what a deposit is for! When I questioned this to Brandee upon receiving our final statement, she just copy and pasted the lease as her response. I am asking the question because the wording on the lease was confusing to me. It is YOUR job as the leasing agent to help clarify questions for me, which she did not. I am not saying that I was or am unwilling to pay (which I did pay) I just wish that I would have been treated better or would have been able to work with someone who was better at their job, like Jenny or Doug.I felt that in the 2 1/2 years that we lived there, my fiancee and I were good tenants. We didnt bother anyone, paid our rent on time, and made sure that we left our apartment as clean as possible when we moved out. The only fault we had was having a cat who caused damage to the carpet. My advice to anyone moving into Red Stone, ask for Jenny, she actually cares about people.

If you like to throw your money away and have them charge you for every little thing upon checkout I would then highly recommend this place, otherwise choose another property to live at. The staff especially Brandee is not friendly, they are terrible about picking up the phone, and if you like paying for a gated community to just have the GATES OPEN ALL THE TIME with the leasing office saying they will fix it, they fix it for one day and then they are right back to being open all the time. I would highly recommend choosing another property. I have lived at UDR properties before and this one DOES NOT live up to what a UDR property is or should be. You will be charge a carpet cleaning fee no matter if you live here 1 month or 12 months. They will find things or make up things that are broken after you move out to charge you more, and oh you want to extend your lease...great the rent will be $500 more a month....next please, get me out of here fast.

I have a love/hate relationship with the place i call home. When my family and i first moved in 6 months ago, we loved the location and the price for rent. I guess its true when they say, you get what you pay for. First move in there was dead bugs/spiders everywhere. Till this day, i literally have to put in a pest control order every Monday to keep up with the bugs. In 6 Months we have seen tons of spiders, Rollie Pollies, Centerpieds, 2 scorpions, the list goes on. We were also told all appliances were new, along with carpet. Our microwave sounds like its dying and the carpets have the carpet fiber eating bugs (Pest control confirmed) i wouldnt say this lifestyle living is safe for babies. Our A/C vent has mold and we are told one thing and something else is done. They are quick with response but do everything possible to get the easy way out. Always have an excuse and temporary solution. My family and i are counting down the days until our lease is up. Leasing office is very nice and responsive but like i said... temporary fixes. Hard working pest control guy and maintenance guy who are very consistent (same person every time which i like) but i see a ton of maintenance people but feel like only one actually works. Every time i have a pest control issue they want me to take it up with pest control. At what point will the company step in and realize pest control can only do so much if they come out weekly to spray and theres still a problem. I just feel like UDR doesnt really care much about there homes. Ive never had these issues anywhere else. Wish problems could be solved for the long haul. You have to pay for parking even though it’s first come first serve. The pool is always dirty and i feel needs daily maintenance not maintenance ones a week. The breezeway are filled with dead bugs and you have to request for it to be cleaned it’s not a weekly thing. The gates aren’t always closed so a safe gated community isn’t a thing. Mail service here is horrible. Gym is about the only nice thing. No club house and not allowed to have family gatherings/birthday parties. The club house you can rent for a large amount of money which isn’t worth the 20 people max.

Living here at Red Stone Ranch has been awesome. For four years I have lived here and not once has Angelia or Doug been anything but superb. Every maintenance request has been addressed promptly and by the friendliest maintenance team. My neighbors are neighborly and respectful of one another, most have been here over 3 years. I am needing more space soon and I dread having to leave the RSR community I have called home. I pray that a larger apartment becomes available so that I can continue calling Red Stone Ranch my home. I will miss saying hello to Doug and Angelia and Jen, they truly are what has made my stay here the best experience I could have ever desired. THANK YOU RSR !!!

I lived here a year in Red Stone Ranch apartment in Cedar Park, TX . I was very disappointed and cant stand it the management is horrible. ONeday i came back home from work i saw a management in my house and i asked why you here they said they wanted to check. I was like i dont know whats wrong here. They dont even ask me before they came. There is no ALLOW to get in my place. They were awful. I remembered the frist day i moved in here they look nice to me after few months latter i see their face. They’re rude and not profectional. And this place is NOT somewhere you want to live, when the office staff lies so much that they cant keep their stories straight. The worst living experience of my life. I puted 1 start for your work. I DO NOT RECOMMENT THIS PLACE.

If you value your money you will not rent from this place for they will keep your deposit because they will find stupid ways to charge you no matter how clean you make your apartment when you leave after an $1100 deposit my wife only got $123 was never late on rent and I specifically helped her make sure that the place was completely clean and had no pets in the place and still got charged for destructions from animals. They are very rude in the office they spread rumors throughout the complex they also discuss other tenants information with things that are going on with other tenets this is by far the worst apartment complex that I have ever seen in my LifeAnd they also do nothing about the tenants who let their dogs crap all over the grass throughout the complex that dont clean it up

Ive lived here for 3 months and I have to admit that this is the best apartment complex Ive lived in so far! I live in a single bed and its well over 600 sq. ft. and feels huge, with a surprisingly affordable utility and electric bill. Id almost say it was cheap lol.The water is clean and the pressure is fantastic, carpet was brand new, two ceiling fans and a big walk-in closet! Also includes a washer and dryer. The washer is a little loud but thats my only complaint. Its alway quiet, there are only four apartments on each floor so only one wall is shared per apartment. I feel like Im the only one that lives here sometimes (which I love as well). The balcony is also exceptionally large. Im only paying 850 a month after all the fees. Its only a 20 minute drive to downtown Austin where I work. I work at 6 am though lol.The staff is amazing as well! (not to mention the hot ladies in the office)! When I first moved in I had a problem with my kitchen drawer and they couldnt get to it right away, so after they fixed it they had an order of cookies from a nearby bakery sent to me. They were awesome cookies! The showing and the application process was flawless and easy.I definitely plan on renewing my lease as long as the rate doesnt increase too much (or at all). Wishful thinking perhaps. In a year or two Ill be forced out of here by the constantly increasing expenses Austin has to offer, but until then, Ill recommend this place to anyone that will listen.

Admin and application costs are high. I was told that the cost would be cut in half if I apply for an apartment that was available now. I applied, was denied, now out for the full cost of the application. Even though I was told I will be given a credit for half the cost. So $75 down the drain when I was told I would only be required to pay for half.

Im pretty confused by all of the negative reviews.. My husband and I moved into a one bedroom and we have had nothing but positive experiences living here. Jenny especially is very friendly, always on top of things and very professional. We love her! Weve had a couple of hiccups with a maintenance issue but the crew has always been extremely prompt and very friendly. It was just one of those things that needed troubleshooting. We love the pool and the grounds are always kept clean and very well landscaped.About the actual apartment, we really love it. The washer and dryer that is included is definitely newer and works great! Our dishwasher is also newer and great.. The water here must not be very hard/harsh because theres no residue anywhere. We moved from Hutto and it was horrible there! The one bedroom is one of the larger ones in the area, 700 sqft and spacious! We love the pool because theres a few very large, shallow areas where our toddler can play. The huge two grills are a pretty nice bonus too!Not to mention the cedar park area is pretty amazing.. Close grocery stores, a very nice huge community pool/park very close by. I read all of these reviews before moving here and it had me pretty worried. But we just love it here!

I would never recommend this place to anyone! We lived in one of their smallest one bedroom and paid about $970 a month, and it was not one of the updated ones. We were charged and extra $50 a month to pay bi weekly, and we paid for pest control every month but had bugs in the place. When we moved in we did not get a check list, and it was our first time renting so I didnt know to get one until about 6 months into living their when Angela from the office called us and said Corp was coming to evaluate them and so we needed to Come get our check list and alarm code and have it turned in asap. We constantly were getting charged for noise complaints from the lady down the hall even when we werent making noise up until about last month (we moved last week) when she called the office and said we had a party the night and were making too much noise (I was watching a movie and was in bed by 9) and could hear it through her wall when Jenny from the office let her know we dont share a wall, and doug wouldnt take those violations off of our history even though all along we werent the ones making the noise! When we were packing I had set two trash bags outside my door and were going to take them to the dump later that day, that same lady complained and we got charged $50 for having them sit there for a few hours! And what makes me mad about that the floor below us has had a grocery basket outside their door for two weeks! We also got in trouble for tracking mud up the stairs, and a few things about that is one, we were on the third floor, anyone could have tracked mud, and two if it was raining how are we going to prevent that. Last but not least I had to rehome two of my dogs, one was a cow dog mix that looked similar to a pitbull, I showed proof from my vet that he was not, angela put in her own words she is not dumb, thats not going to fly and if I dont get rid of him within 24 hours she will call animal control and remove him herself told her I have seen full blooded Pitt bul,s walk around all the time and her response was it could be a service dog I than got a husky who I had to rehome because he was restricted breed as well and at that point I saw 4 different full blooded Pit Bulls walk around ! One time our air co 9vroke in August and it took them 3 days to come and fix it when called about twice a day all those day! I am so glad I do not live there anymore, some residents are just plain trash thier, Angela was just plain trash, I am glad they fired her but it happened a month before I left, if it would have been done sooner I am sure my review would be a lot better. Do not move in here!
