I absolutely love Roots salon! The first time I visited Roots salon was after a getting a disaster of a haircut from Great Clips, and thankfully at short notice Roots was able to squeeze me, fix my hair, & make it look better than it had ever looked before! 🥰 Im now a regular and I swear my hair looks nicer every time I visit! The staff is super friendly & very good at what they do, and the atmosphere is gorgeous. 💕

A++ After relocating to the area, I had to find a new colorist who knows how to do blonde and Zachary exceeded my expectations! He clearly knows his stuff - not your ordinary colorist - and is so pleasant to work with. He also talked me through everything he was doing, which I so appreciated. Ive only had one other colorist (in CA) know how to achieve my highlights just the way I like them (and Ive tried MANY) and Zachary nailed it on the first try. Im thrilled and will definitely be back. Be sure to book in advance as he books up about 2 months out!

LOVE the team and ‘family’ feel here! I feel comfortable every time I walk through the door. Zachary does AMAZING hair. And I have super curly hair! He KNOWS what you’re saying when you describe your vision and goes above and beyond making it happen. The other services offered (nails, permanent makeup, EVERYTHING YOU NEED) have all been amazing also. This place is always what I recommend, for anything beauty related.

I had my very first appointment today and the first thing Trenton told me was that he loved my eyebrows so like, what more do you need to know?But in all honesty, I was super nervous to try out a new salon after my longtime stylist moved out of state. I am also completely devoid of knowledge about hair, so that made me even more apprehensive to go somewhere new because I had no idea what to ask for or how to even begin to describe what I liked or what I wanted. However, it turns out I had nothing to worry about because I had a great time, left with a great cut, and I look forward to coming back!!(also this place smells ridiculously good)

Zach does my hair and he is friendly, fun, and more than willing to help with any questions I have. He has also been very flexible in accommodating appointment times to my schedule. Ive been meaning to post for months now and keep forgetting!I was recently a new customer and had a great experience. I have lived in NC for four years and have yet to find a salon with real stylists that could have a decent conversation without trying to sell me products the entire time. Moreover, the salon was clean and I felt completely safe (and thats hard to say these days!).I saw Ashley and she was amazing - super knowledgeable and helpful when deciding how much I should cut off (I have a wider face and she helped me decide to not cut with layers, but do a lob cut). I will definitely be back to see her!

Zach has been doing my hair for about a year now and I am beyond happy with my hair. My hair wasn’t growing and felt like straw prior to Zach doing my hair. He has transformed my hair into something that I finally love. The entire staff is amazing. I always feel welcome and taken care of from all of the employees! The salon is gorgeous and has an amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend!

LOVE Roots Salon and LOVE Zach, he is true hair artist and genius! I have thick red hair that grows in the heat and humidity. Zach has matched my natural red color (I cover the grays) which is hard to do - it has taken me years to find someone who can do this! The cut is always perfect and I leave refreshed with a fantastic blow-out. The salon is clean, organized, and there is a relaxing spa smell welcoming you as you walk in. The last time I had an appt Zach walked me to my car with an umbrella so my hair would not get wet while he did. The service cannot be beat!
